"It's a damn mystery why ya dated him in the first place." Grumbled the orc, as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders. Pulling her to walk, he used his free hand to wipe her face clean. "Don't fucken cry over that prick, alright? I got ya, so don't even think of the dick." Nash smiled, curling his arm to pull her into a kiss. Nash could be a sweetheart at times. And he did do some romantic things. Well...Romantic in his eyes.

"He was the first guy that... came up to me after I first... changed. He was the first guy that looked at me like I was beautiful, I suppose. I... I was just grateful and it made me... happy," she admitted, cuddling into his side for both warmth and for some support. Right now, she hardly felt that beautiful when she was being called a whore in front of a tavern of people she'd known for years. At least Nash helped boost her self-worth with his tender touches and kind words.

Orcs didn't have a reputation for being emotional beings, but Nash proved that was a stereotype and not a fact.

"You know I love you, don't you?" She began slowly, pulling him to a stop as she reached to cup his cheek. "Peter... was right for me at the time, but you're... right for me for the future, I guess. God, that sound fucking cheesy, huh? I just-- I need you to be okay with my family and stuff-- especially if my Pa is having more. Like, they love kids, it's their thing. They're not going to stop anytime soon, so... so really, try and be okay with it?"

"...Ugh, fine I'll try and get used to it." Grumbled the man. And when they arrived at the palace, it was already a big scene. Obviously, Dax wasn't happy about Felix being there, and Anders was trying to defend him.

"Dax, he wants to be apart of the family! Why are you being so mean?!" Yelled Anders with a glare, standing in front of his brother while looking at his husband. "I don't understand why you hate this so much!"

"Mean? I like to think of it as me not being a fucking despicable hypocritical traitor, but hey, you say what you want. This is a guy you had kidnapped and sent away; someone you told me you hated. We hate our family, and now you're going back on that?!" Muttered Dax flatly, hardly noticing his daughter awkwardly enter with her new boyfriend. Normally, he'd do the whole protective Dad thing, especially when Nash was an orc, but he barely even noticed or cared right now.

Instead, he was fiercely glaring at his husband and their older brother, his hands balled into tight fists at his sides. "Why the fuck have you even come back, Felix? L-Like-- fuck you. I... you need to leave or I'm going to kill you. You aren't anything to me, you're just-- nothing."

"You aren't going to kill him, you'd have to get through me first." Hissed Anders, as he crossed his arms. "I already talked to Felix, he forgives me for all the wrongs I did. He just wants to be a family again, why can't you just accept that?!" He whined, tears in his eyes his fist now clenched. "I just want to be a family again, baby, why can you understand?!"

"...Because I hate them. I hate our siblings and our parents. I hate them m-more than you... more than you know, clearly. I just thought... I thought we... were on the same page," he murmured, his expression falling by the second as he silently bent down to scoop Zac into his arms. Focusing on his son right now at least distracted him from physically pushing Anders aside and killing the brother behind him.

"You either choose me or them, it's kinda simple. I don't need them assholes in my life. I've got a family, I... I don't fucking need them."

Of course, Anders would choose Dax. He'd choose Dax over and over again. Dax was the love of his life and the father of their children. Grimacing, he looked back at Felix. "...I'm sorry...You have to leave." He mumbled.

Felix grimaced before looking at Dax. "...I just hoped we could have been a family again." Grumbled the man before being escorted out of the palace by some guards.

Grimacing, he watched his brother leave before looking at his husband. Instead of pressing further for another argument, he just stared at him angrily, before taking Zac from him. "Zac, you ready for your bath?" He asked in a cheerful voice.

Zac giggled and squirmed. "No, no, no bath! Unless I can take a bath with my new friend Eggy."

"...Eggy? Whose Eggy?" He asked his toddler curiously, wondering if it was a new imaginary friend. Squirming from his arms, Zac got down before running to get this Eggy. Coming back, he was holding an egg. It didn't look like a normal egg. It...Was brownish orange color...And looked like it was pulsating. Anders tried his best not to gag. "...Darling, where did you even find that...thing?"

"Back yard~! On my adventure, his name is Eggy!"

Silently smirking as his brother was led out, Dax finally relaxed on the couch, his smugness palpable. Of course he was smug. He not only got what he wanted, but he also managed to get a reconfirmation of Anders' undying love for him. He would have brought him into his arms and told him he was sorry, but what had happened was the right thing-- until their son entered with that... thing in his arms.

Dax wasn't fond of cussing in front of his children but, like Enzo, he didn't have a handle on it as much as he wanted.

"Fuck-- what the fuck is that, Zac? What's in it?" The father began, eyes wide as he carefully took the thing, his mouth twisting more as it moved and pulsated in his hands. "I-- you aren't fucking touching this, god knows what's inside it."

Zac's bottom lip quivered as his little egg was taken from him. "G-Give em back!" He screeched before he began to breathe fire, setting the floor on fire, as he threw a tantrum.

"Zac! Stop it! Just give him the damn thing!" Anders hissed, taking the egg from Dax. He grimaced at how it felt. It felt like something as inside, and it was warm. Shuddering from the feeling, he just handed it to his son. "Whatever is inside is going to die anyway. A two-year-old can't nurse an egg right." HHe quickly put the fires out, grimacing at the burn marks left on his nice floor.

Sighing he rubbed his temples before sitting on the couch next to his husband, cuddling close. "...I mean...We aren't bad parents for letting him keep the egg. It's...It's going to die, so let's just let em keep it."

Zac grimaced a bit when hearing Eggy was going to die. So he took his egg and went to go find Enzo. Enzo would know what to do! "Enzo!" He whimpered, holding his egg to his chest.

Having relocated to her bedroom to escape the argument and to show her boyfriend her old room, Enzo grunted angrily when her little brother stormed in, ready to yell at him that she needed her privacy. She was in the middle of making out with Nash, having been sitting on top of him and was one second away from removing her own shirt. Luckily, Zac entered before she went that far.

"What... What is that, Zac? Is that an egg-- whose fucking egg is that?" She began, speaking much like Dax did as she gingerly reached to take the egg from his hands, immediately blinking fast at the movements inside. "Is something alive in there? I-- I-- Jesus, where'd you get it?"

"His name is Eggy, and I got him from the backyard...But Papa and Daddy said he's gonna die cause I don't know how to take care of em...Help me take care of em." Huffed the little boy, crossing his arms as he stared up at his sister.

Nash groaned loudly, obviously annoyed, and just wanted to have his girlfriend alone. Sitting up, he looked at the egg, grimacing a bit from how it looked. "The fuck is that...Do ya even want to see what's in that? It's...It looks fucken gross." Grimaced the teen, leaning in to sniff the egg.

"Don't touch him! I dunno you, so you can't touch him!" Growled the little boy.

Enzo fell silent almost the moment she had the strange egg in her hands. She had about a million questions, but none of them could be vocalised. Her full attention was on this strange thing her little brother had found-- though she didn't share any of her fathers' concerns, nor did she think it was 'gross' like Nash did.

On the contrary, a smile pulled at her lips as she silently held the egg a tad closer to her chest, both to ensure it didn't fall from her hands and to try and offer it some warmth. She realised she was being extremely protective about something she was oblivious about. Nobody knew what the egg even held inside it-- but that didn't really matter. She'd been hit with some immediate instinct that told her to protect and nurture the thing.

"...Hey, we'll look after it, Zac. Me and you, hm? I'll keep it nice and warm," promised Enzo, her ears flickering happily as she moved to reach for some blankets. "I need to keep it warm. I'll hug it and keep it close, okay? It's always moving-- it's so happy in there, I think. Now it's nice and warm, it has to be happy. Maybe it can hear me~?"

Zac gave a wide boyish grin, his deep dimples appearing. He knew he should have asked her! Enzo always knew what to do! He climbed onto the bed, looking at the egg. "He's really happy! I gotta go take a bath, take care of em while I'm gone! You don't touch him!" He hissed the Nash, baring his little fangs.

Nash arched his brow as the little boy got from the bed, and ran form the room to go and wash up. "...Yer a good big sister. So are ya gonna throw that thing out? I mean...What the hell is even in that thing? I've never seen an egg like that. It's almost glowing." Grimached Nash as he looked at the egg that would move here and there. Whatever was in there, it was just days away from hatching.

"I wasn't fucking saying it to please him-- this thing is alive and I... I dunno, I feel like I need to protect it, you know? Is this how all girls get with this shit, 'cos really, even hearing you speak like that about this thing is pissing me off. It was abandoned, presumably. I'm gonna look after it," she proudly beamed, holding the egg close to her chest and going as far as to hum to it, in the chance it could hear her. Some part of her wanted whatever was in there to know her voice when it was born, to immediately be calmed when she spoke to it.

She understood why Nash probably thought she was crazy, because really, she'd think the same-- but some part of her felt instantly connected to this egg and even the concerns of her boyfriend weren't going to be acknowledge by her.

"It's cute, right? I bet whatever's in there is adorable," she gushed happily, a sparkle in her eyes as she laid back on the bed, hugging the blanket-wrapped egg up close to the side of her. "Don't be such a grump, Nash~"

Looking at his girlfriend, he grimaced a bit, but he decided he wouldn't say how he truly felt. It was odd! She was taking care of this egg like it was a baby. No one even knew what was in that thing. He'd ever even see eggs like that. And what if it wasn't abandoned. What if her brother stole it from its nest and its mother comes looking for it? Whatever was in that egg was freaking him out.

A few weeks later, the egg did hatch. For those few weeks, Mostly Enzo took care of it. Zac had lost interest in the egg like most toddlers did when a new toy was bought for him. Anders tried to persuade his daughter into throwing the egg away, because...They didn't know what it was, but of course, she kept the egg. And it hatched.

Inside of the egg was a tiny baby. It was so small, that it would be able to be held by one hand. But that was just for now. It had two sets of wings, they were tiny right now and folded up. It arms were black and had tiny sharp claws on it. Its legs were all black covered in black feathers. It had little horns on the top of its head, and its hair was red. It was pale, and when it opened its eyes, they were completely black. It looked up at Enzo, looking for the voice it heard it's entire time in the egg. The baby was cute but...What the hell was it?

The moment the egg hatched, Enzo's priorities in life immediately changed. Before the egg entered her life, she was all for partying and just acting like any another 16 year old. She still was with Nash, still focused on him, but admittedly her priorities had shifted a little when the egg hatched and she was greeted by a humanoid baby. It was difficult for her to even let anyone else hold it now it was born, and she knew immediately that she wasn't going to just hand it over and focus back on her relaxed lifestyle - she'd grown attached before it had hatched, and now she had the baby in her arms, she wasn't just attached; she was in love.

Her parents weren't happy and she knew she'd alienated her boyfriend-- but she didn't entirely care.

"I'm calling him Amber. He's so adorable," the girl beamed, rocking the tiny little thing in her arms as she glanced across at Bella, who was the only one who had seen the baby outside of its egg. Enzo knew her parents needed to be informed, but she couldn't break her attention from the baby in her arms.

"He's...Really tiny." She whispered, staring at the little baby. She looked at his little tail, his horns, and wings, trying to figure out just what the baby was. "Amber is cute for him." She encouraged, as her ears twitched, staring in amazement at the baby. "But...Well, Enzo what do you know about raising a...well whatever he is. I mean, I'm sure you'd be a great mom and all, but...What does he even eat?" She asked, looking at him.

The little baby shivered a bit from the cold air against his little body and nuzzled in closely to who he saw as his mother. Of course, he saw Enzo as his mother. She was the first thing he saw after he hatched. After getting news that the egg hatched, Andy came to the room, to see just what it was, holding Dax's hand. Once he saw, he was even more confused. He'd never seen a creature that looked like that. He glanced at his husband, before looking at his daughter."...Wow, he's cute." He stated as cheerfully as he could. "What are you calling him or her...?"

Enzo's head shot up at the 'M' word. Mom. It wasn't really something she had ever envisioned herself being called, because she never desired children. Unlike her parents who seemed to never want to stop having them, she had no desire to do so, especially at just 16 when she had her whole life ahead of her for that sort of thing.

But there was no denying the fact she had a maternal instinct over the baby before it had even been born, one that only grew and exploded when she laid eyes on the baby now it had been born. As it nuzzled in towards her, she found herself feeling the unconditional love new parents felt. Clearly, she was a mother to this humanoid creature-- and that fact really didn't scare her; it made her happy.

"Amber," she smiled over at her parents, choosing to ignore Dax's scowl as she silently reached to wrap a blanket over herself and the baby, smoothing his mass of red hair with her finger gently. "...I love him so much, Pa-- I can do this, you know? I... I want to do this. Nash isn't so keen, but-- has he called? Or is he still ignoring me?"

"He's called to check on you...I told him you were still...You know, being attached to...This...Amber." Anders mumbled, trying to word everything together nicely, as he sat down looking at the baby. "...Being a parent is hard I mean..I should know, I have ten." Joked the Queen, looking up at his husband, but all he saw was an angry scowl. Sighing, he looked back at his daughter. "...You haven't turned seventeen yet, but you've done much more than any seventeen year old has ever done...Listen...I want you to slow down your life, Enzo. I can't let you...Raise him. He's...We don't know what he is." He tried to break it down it her gently.

The baby in her arms began to whimper a bit, signaling he was hungry. But what would he even eat? Bella got the little bottle she had prepared for this moment, handing it over, wondering if he'd take milk.

"Your parents didn't want you taking their throne from them, but you did it anyway because you wanted to. I want to raise Amber and I'm gonna do it, even if you don't like it. You guys can't really say anything when you did something like take over the world, right? I'm just... Amber likes me and I love him already and it's sorta-- Look, you wanted me to stop going out so much, right? I'm not going out now I have him to raise," she pointed out, accepting the bottle from Bella to gently place against Amber's lips.

"...You know this is ludicrous, right? Like, I'm not letting you do this. You're a fucking kid." Dax mumbled, hesitating. He wanted to rip her from the... creature, but he didn't want to hurt it. He wasn't really fond of hurting innocent children.
