Hello! I have an idea that can be done in two ways (which the poll is for)
Regardless of plot, the world is modern-sci-fi where humans and semi-robotic humanoids called Reploids live in peace, barring gangs and criminals and whatnot. The RP itself would take place in a metropolitan area and the surrounding wilderness.
Plot 1 - the players are a group of friends who spend their days together. One day, they come across a cache of biometal fragments - each friend being the chosen one of a single biometal. Thus they are thrust into another world of fighting, filled with mavericks and other "megamen" who desire to destroy the rest and become "king of the world".
(The players would start much weaker than all other megamen because of the fragmented status of their biometal)
Plot 2 - the players all wake up in a holding cell of an unknown laboratory. There they learn they are chosen to be part of the 'megaman' experiment. They are each implanted with a biometal and then thrust to survive together in a death battle to determine the king of the world.
