He is an extremely forgiving person but[/BCOLOR] betrayal is something that he will not stand for. His perceptive skills are outstanding as well to the point where he can predict an attack before it is even made or [BCOLOR=#3366ff]nearly imperceptible coming change in the weather.[/BCOLOR][/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#ff6600]Kenshin grew up in a very traditional Japanese home environment with his father. He was raised around the importance of good morals and discipline. This meant [BCOLOR=#3366ff]hard and rigorous training in kendo which was all crammed in a strict schedule. Normally the pressure would unhinge most but instead of being overrun by nerves,[/BCOLOR] Kenshin seemed to excel even more under mounds of stress. Being a seemingly flawless overachiever earned him many admirers but also jealous enemies. In order to [BCOLOR=#3366ff]keep peace and avoid conflict, he adapted to be cunning and told lies as if they were the truth. In fact he got too caught up in them that he ended up indirectly[/BCOLOR] hurting his one and only childhood friend who committed suicide. Ever since then Kenshin grew to secretly hate himself and swore against ever telling lies again. This [BCOLOR=#3366ff]is why when he gets mad or irritated, which is not likely, he becomes extremely blunt and sarcastic.[/BCOLOR][/BCOLOR]

Personality:
Most would describe Iris as blunt and to the point. She prefers not to play around with words and just get finished with whatever is on her plate and obstacles she faces, a vicious stubborn streak evident in the way she walks - graceful, but somewhat flickery, like she can't wait to finish and get on with her time.
Iris has little patience for those who hide a lot behind their words or actions, or lie. She thinks it just gets in the way of finishing things and also causes unnecessary complications - she's observant about other people despite keeping her distance. She also has great sense in watching their body language, having trained herself to be controlled in her body herself, and could usually sniff out a fraud or a lie if they look at the face and the posture, the voice long enough. She knows how cruel or manipulative people could be through emotional abuse due to her mother, so she doesn't like getting attached.
Even so, Iris doesn't have a cold personality. She's just rather distant to others, and maintains nonchalance towards them.
Despite this she has a certain charisma to the way she talks, a sort of effortless confidence or nonchalance about doing things. She has a way with the opposite sex that both attracts them to her and infuriates them. While she's blunt and to the point with her words there's a certain language to her body and mannerisms that speaks of independence and aloofness. She doesn't work well with others that way, she tends to go off on her own motivations.
Because of her past, Iris has a daredevil personality. She would go for reckless and outrageous stunts just to get that rush of adrenaline running in her blood, she loves the thrill of success ones she finishes a rather eyecatching and spectacular move. She has a certain pride that makes her want to push herself further and further and be better at what she is good at.
On the other hand, there is little other than this that can make Iris break out of her indifference towards other people. There is little that makes her feel 'alive' than her stunts and she doesn't really like the attention either, just the thrill and the pride she feels in herself.
History:
Iris Cavendish was born to a middleclass British family, with a hardworking father and a strict and demanding mother. As a child Iris was withdrawn, though not as much as she is now - the child Iris preferred to play quietly by herself in the corner and wasn't the friendliest of children. Her bluntness had already been starting since then. She was particularly sharp-witted for a child, and her parents noticed this. She was enrolled early to school and skipped two years.
Her parents demanded excellence and rigidity from their daughter - but for her sake and her future because they loved her. However this made Iris somewhat sullen and angry because nothing ever seemed good enough for her parents, and when she was nine her mother realized she never had much activities outside of reading and studying - thus she was enrolled in gymnastics. This was one activity Iris enjoyed, using her body as a language and its movement a work of art - it also allowed her to express feelings she normally wouldn't say.
While she hated being pressured, Iris still loved her parents. This emotionally deadened her one day when they were out together and it ended up in disaster - her father, who was more indulgent with her and listened to her, even gave her what she wanted, died in a car accident while her mother was crippled. They were then sent to live with her aunt, who was a single, and rather loose, woman but admittedly had money. Iris has survivor guilt because she was the only one who ended up mostly unscathed.
At first her mother told her not to blame herself and continue on persevering in her studies and in gymnastics -which Iris aced - but as time passed her mother grew more and more bitter as a cripple whenever she saw the effortless grace and fluid movements of her daughter - who was quickly proving to be a star athlete. Her mother started undermining her achievements and telling her nothing is enough - and Iris grew to resent this, but not as much as she did before. She just... Couldn't bring herself to care. She just didn't want to listen to this woman who had become a stranger to her over the years.
She had started to find tastes of her own in clothing and music as she grew into adolescence. She had her ears pierced with multiple piercings, all in silver and taken (snitched) from her aunt, who didn't really even notice that much. She wasn't exactly truly gothic but she liked the style well enough, the black armbands and bracelets with designs of spikes and skulls - the rings. She tended to wear multiple on her arms and paint her nails black (because it was actually easier than choosing from a lot of colors). There were screaming matches between her and her mother which was mostly onesided - Iris just stood there impassively as her mother yelled at her about what a waste of air and space she was.
Because of this Iris learned to be independent and avoid her mother even when they were in the same house. She cooked her own meals and washed her own clothes, and was essentially living on her own. She learned to define herself not by what others wanted her to achieve by what she loved and wanted to excel at. This was gymnastics, which she had taken to like a duck to water. Her instructors praised her while at home her mother scoffed at her. She also started to enjoy many different stunts, and while outside had started learning to parkour, to scale buildings with her flexibility and endurance, and also had an intellectual enjoyment at testing out and thinking up new things to do. She's also learned to have a love for heights - looking down, seeing the danger gave her a thrill. From then on she had become a thrill-seeker who was reckless in her ways, something that further distanced her from her mother.
She also started to get attention from boys as she started to grow into her looks - a slender and flexible, supple body, pale, smooth skin and platinum blond hair with grey eyes - along with soft facial features. However she was never really interested in but few of them and her interest quickly faded as she cared more about training and reading to herself than anything physical. She saw that most relationships at this age were shallow anyway and no one really gave her a thrill, though she also learned that she somewhat... Appreciated the bodies of other girls, especially those who also practiced gymnastics with her.

At first glance the girl doesn't seem any different from a normal teen, sure she is overly peppy and an all around riot to be around. But her quirks are far from normal, she can go from being the happiest girl on the planet to someone who wants to kill anybody in her way. Though it's only if provoked does that happen, she's not one to pick fights on daily basis. A little stubborn but sweet in her own way. She's a bit of a freak, enjoying strange things, smiling at you for long periods of time and participating in full on conversations with herself. She has shown to be a very interesting young lady.

A simple girl, her hair always in big blonde curls, her little buckteeth never in view of the public and always wearing only the best of the best fashions. Though she often went off into her own worlds, sometimes even taking on brand new personalities and throwing away friends that she figured she didn't need. Over time people became worried for the little Sampson girl and she was immediately rushed to a church in fear of possession. Her family after all, had always had some interesting beliefs. The priest however looked at them and simply told them 'bring her to the doctors' It was there that she was diagnosed with various disorders including Bipolar, Anxiety and Schizophrenia. From that point on they drowned her in medicines to make things better for her but this only seemed to make her worse. She became dizzy and sick all the time and they would have rather had her happy then miserable so with some tough discussion with each other they let her off the meds. Of course this meant that she was never really tied down and was able to do whatever she pleased. At fourteen she decided to ditch her Victorian era clothing and go for a much more colorful and out there look. Fifteen she dyed her hair all shades of the rainbow and then finally at sixteen years old she decided to make friends with anyone she damn well pleased. It wasn't easy though, she was a walking freakshow in most people's opinions.
