Mind control is to powerfull a power to start with. It's a branch of from Telepathy, given to you at a higher level. OTherwise it looks good.

Also from upgrading your traits you get these:

Adept Elecrokinesis; Arch Lightning. Where the limited Electrokinetics allows you to force and control strong static currents capable of stunning and shocking people. You can control bigger amount, even direct currents. One result of this is to harmlessly redirecting allready existing electrical sources to fire back out in a concentrated form from your hands or a current leading metal object in your current possession.

Adept Telepathy; Mind reading. Aside from being able to speak directly in to the mind of others, your telepathy now allows you to go into the mind of others and extract information. A dangerous task in itself, as minds can still repel you, it is none the less a powerful tool.

CAS; Accepted.

@Hellis! For pilots, what's the difference between the Operator and Easy Sync traits? If a Hermes guy was deadset on Light Operator, for example, what would Easy Sync do for them that they didn't have already?

Also, how long have the Scions been around for?

Easy Sync makes the entire thing alot less unpleasant for you. A light operator is simply really good at light mechs. Knowing how it works inside out and what it can take. You know its techical limitations and how to press it to it's limits. Easy Sync is being better suited for mechs biologically and mentally, increasing reaction times, decreasing input delay and just making it overall better.

IE; One is natural and innate compatability, the other is training and knowledge.

The two together compliment each other and give you a bigger edge.

Thinking of joining in on this with a female Hades pilot so I might be able to fill that gap.

We actually get a heavy hitter? :D

*updates his terrible plans to incorporate new elements.*

Oh ya, I am going to bring the thunder XD

Now just a quick question, Do mech pilots have some protection within inside the mech in case there is a breach in the hull and something like a swarmer gets inside?

You have a sidearm at arms reach inside your cockpit as per rule. And your preffered gun/rifle or what not generally somewhere in the vicinity so that if your shit gets wrecked, you are still armed when you abandon ship so to speak.
Beeing that you're in a massive as fuck mech. You have a little more space to work with. You do not however, wear any sort of body armor inside. just the standard issue pilot suit with all its Einbrium clamps and stuff.

Sweet good to know, I shall hopefully be done with my CS soon. This is going to be a lot of fun.

I was just thinking we lacked some kind of heavy firepower/artillery from a squad perspective, so I'm glad to see this!

One of my buddies is joining as crowdcontrol (Flamethrower/Exosuit)

  • Name: Sarah Glenn

    Callsign: Limbo

    Gender: female

    Age: 24

    Appearance:
    d56c1fdebb5968e9ab5f83f672778997-d33xkam.jpg

Brief Background: Oh Sarah's upbringing was of the usual sort, well usual for this day and age. She doesn't remember much of Day 0, just the faint sense that something was wrong from her parents. Growing up an only child and raised in the small state of Rhode Island she did not have a good grasp of the world outside of her neat little backyard. All she knew was that very quickly she was packed up into her family's small little car and they drove north. In Canada they stayed with some relatives that had a house there.

They stayed on that small little farm for two years until the swarms of invaders became bad enough that they were forced to retreat into one of the strong holds that the human's had managed to keep. That is the time Sarah remembers most, the raid siren's sending kids scattering to bunkers, classes taught in underground bunkers, weapons training as soon as they thought she and the rest of the kids were old enough. During it all Sarah seemed to keep calm and serene which, while being a nice thing for her parents and such, singled her out as being a bit unusual. Not that she didn't have her moments, kids are kids after all.

At 18 she enlisted and was quickly sent into training. At that point the mechs were still under testing but by the time she hit the program they had gained a lot of momentum after the defeat of the Gigant outside of Sophia. Caught in the sudden support of the new tech she was placed into, what was then, the group with the least members which just so happened to be the Hades program. With hours and hours of training under of belt she had gained the confidence to become a fairly known in her field after a risky move involving her piloting her mech under a rapidly collapsing bridge to provide backup to a ground of infaltry that had been pinned down by a pair of banshees. That is where she gained her call sign "Limbo" after one of the soldiers chimed in on the com link and said "I haven't seen that move since I played limbo at my cousin's wedding". She has also gained a little notoriety for her mech's mascot, a grey teddy bear that she takes on every mission for good luck.

  • Role: Pilot
    Traits:
    Sharp Mind
    Mental Fortitude
    Heavy Operator
    Heavy Weapons Specialist
Back up- while not very much of a leader she will be one of the first on the scene when someone calls in from assistance, and being one of the biggest out on the field she does have some liberty to do so.
Stay calm- it takes a whole lot to set Sarah off, and at times it seems she is just a bit too calm for the middle of a battle. But she is a jovial sort and enjoys her little wisecracks.

    Equipment:
-Sig P412: A high caliber, semi-automatic pistol that has a standard magazine of 14. It is capable of using silencers, but higher profile does not allow of sights to be added.
-M113: A pretty standard issue assault rifle. It's main advantage is the fact that it is built to work with different types of .35 rounds. The standard magazine is 24 rounds but some of the more explosive rounds only come in magazines of 14.
-Falxion: A heavy, single-edged combat knife with a forwards curving blade. Designed for slashes rather than stabs, the weight of the blade makes it capable of cutting through thin armor.
-M20 smoke grenade: for a downed pilot throwing a couple of these colored smoke grenades provides a fair bit of cover to make a speedy get away.
-G13 grenade: A standard fragmentation grenade. There are two types, one with a yellow stripe and one with a blue stripe. The yellow one acts a bit as an incendiary grenade, while the blue is just your standard frag grenade.
    Frame: Hades

    Weapons;
-Railgun: the true heavy hitter this gun is capable of launching projectiles at around mach 10. The speed and the special targeting gear that accompanies the weapon allows the user to hit targets over 25 miles away.
-.5 cal machine gun: when things stray within a certain range or end up in a larger swarm it is good just to have the sheer volume of the .5 cal to deal some damage.

    Special Systems:
-Temp Shield: Her mech has been outfitted, at her request, with a high energy shield that in emergency situations she can activate to provide a lot of extra protection. It drains a lot of power and she can't run it for very long without it just shutting down.
    - Monkey Feet: To combat some of the maneuverability issues that the larger quad models face the Hades has been given slightly prehensile "toes" on each of its feet. This allows Sarah to scale sharper inclines and rougher terrain but it does not make her any less vulnerable to turtling.

It's always something isn't.

I was thinking of going for the rail gun, but I wasn't so sure what would be a good second weapon, any ideas?

Railgun cannon wouuld be the big one, as for the second, i suggest something like a 50cal machine gun,

Alright made the changes.

I made some additions/editions to my 'Ep-mouse' weapon, so I'd like to get clearance on the changes, if you don't mind.
Also I changed it's name to EEP-MoWS, cuz 'eep' sounds more mousey.
