You have been chosen by a dark, tall man, who holds out a jewel encrusted gauntlet in a welcoming gesture.
"Ahh, I'm glad you've considered my offer." He says, with a wry smile.
In truth, you were drugged against your will, and carried to this dark room while you were unaware.
He goes on to explain that he has called for you because of your expertise in your chosen field. He then expresses hopes that you would not disappoint.
The man tells you that you are currently on a ship orbiting a planet in a star system you have not heard of before. He says that you are currently in the Haah-K'ray Borderlands; an uncharted part of space, at least in Imperium records. The planet itself, Zeppang, is a lush green planet, with an indigenous feudal human population who haven't heard of the Emperor before.
Apparently, the planet has a portal to a place he has been to before. He describes it as a land of eternal midsummer - a wonderful paradise. It is imperative that he goes there again.
... And he wants you to find it for him.

Then, apply starting advances. You may take elite advances taken from any of the following books:
Dark Heresy, Inquisitor's Handbook, Disciples of the Dark Gods, and The Radical's Handbook, provided you have enough starting XP. You may list them below your character sheet (specifically under special qualities) with the corresponding costs. After I approve your character, you must retroactively apply any talents, skills you get in your actual skill/talent lists.
Like this:
Advances:
- Red Redemptionist (Inquisitor's Hand Book) 150 XP
Player made Elite Advances must first be defined by benefits, penalties, and initial costs. Then you state background info on why you have this advance at the beginning. I will then decide if you may take this advance or not.
Like this:
Custom-made Advances:
- Merrow's Infamy - this man has access to a wide network of well-hidden contacts whom his inquisitor have dealt with in the past. However, stating his inquisitor's true name is a gamble, since his master has a checkered reputation leaning towards the unsavory. However, those who know about this man are well-traveled and can be found in almost any populated zone. They MAY offer assistance or even more trouble, depending on their opinion of the Inquisitor.
Benefits: Possible contacts who may help in the mission.
Penalties: Possible enemies alerted to the acolytes' existence.
Costs: 50XP to take. Must state Merrow's true name, and reveal self to be acolyte to make use of benefit/penalty.
Starting gear You may purchase gear without consideration of rarity. This is only for the beginning of the campaign. List them below your advances with the relevant throne costs. all of you have starting thrones of 500 + whatever you got when you generated a character.
Like this:
- Good quality Chainsword = 275(x2) or 550 thrones
- 20 throwing Knives = 20 thrones

I will try to be online next Saturday (after this one) night. That would probably be Saturday morning for those stateside and 6pm like Asmo said wherever he is.
The above character will be an NPC who will act as sort of a guide for the rest, since he is one of the older acolytes serving the Inquisitor.
