"If you wish for something, take it."

[BCOLOR=transparent]Age: 15[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Birthday: April 21st 2001[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Gender: Male[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Nationality: Turkish[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Sexual Orientation: Hertosexual [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Zodiac Sign: Taurus[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Personality-[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Virtues: Patient, Calculating, Curious, A good Listener, Attentive Strongly willed, Proactive [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Flaws:ill tempered, Stubborn, Brazen, Violent, Sensitive, Unfiltered, Explodes with anger [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Personality:[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Bon is a silent observer to most. Watching his environment and taking actions as he sees fit. However, do not take his silence for shyness or incompetency. When Bon speaks, he speaks without check. Saying whatever it is that is on his mind. No matter what comes out of his mouth, he would rather trust his own words over that of others. Unless proven wrong with something strong, he will continue to hold his stance on something. For he may be stubborn, but he does not like to be blissfully ignorant of things around him. [/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Changes in plans or the environment for the worse irritate and even anger Bon, as he doesn't like when things don't go his way or just the way he thought them to be. When pushed to the limit of his anger, he will not shy away from violence when provoked. Bon is only violent through reaction, if he could avoid violence, he would rather take that route. But his anger blinds him of his sense and doesn't hold much wrong with punching the guy who just foiled a month long plan in the jaw.[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Though, as much as a Bon puts up a strong front, he’s very insecure about his past. He’s especially touchy about the subject of his parents. For him, it’s the cause of a lot of anger as he has yet to come with terms with it. Bon has never been able to come to terms with the fact that they left him. His attempts to forget about them were always futile. As he would always see them as the people who created him into who he is. Did they know who he would become once he grew up? Did they not want him? Was he the ruin of their life? Why was he so angry about people who didn’t want him? These thoughts came to him. Those questions eat at him. He responds with the only thing he knows how, anger. He punches, kicks, and destroys things to alleviate the anger. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Likes: Spicy foods, when he's right, his scarf, water. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Dislikes: When he's wrong, sweet things, being treated as though he's stupid because of his age, being touched by strangers [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Fears: Intense fear of pitch black darkness.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Physical Appearance-[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Height: 5'6[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Weight: 150 pounds[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Blood Type: O negative[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Clothing: Bon typically wears his white scarf, Green jacket, and some odd plain colored T-shirt. Accompanied with his dark blue jeans and brown sandals.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Background-[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Place of Birth: Istanbul, Turkey[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Full History: [/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent] Born on the early morning of April 21st, to the open blue skies and sea of Istanbul, Turkey was Bon Feila Avci. Least, that's what the sailors who found him that morning on the docks with a note attached to his tiny mobile crib reported when they dropped him off at a local orphanage.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent] Bon's first few years of life taught all who knew him as a tiny little hellion. The staff of the orphanage in which he resided in thought it a bit peculiar on why he was always so quiet, even when being teased about being dropped off on the docks without any inclination of who or what his parents were by the local neighborhood kids. Though, Bon never sat idly while being made fun of. He sat waiting and watching the kids. Eventually retorting with his own teasing of dirty laundry. When the teasing was sometimes out of hand, Bon would get into fights with the older kids over their malevolent words. Sometimes even winning with his sudden outburst, Taking his opponents by surprise. Bon never gloated about his victories, but it always gave him more courage whenever he was faced with someone larger than he was. The years of teasing and fighting ingrained him to never back down from a fight. Verbally or physically.[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent] His courage grew into cruelty, beating his opponents into bloody pools and leaving them cold on the street. It didn't take long for the authorities to catch up with Bon, but instead of hauling of him to jail, they forced him to join an after school activity in order to keep him busy and off the streets. With his small freedom of choice, he choose to go into boxing.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent] I[/BCOLOR] [BCOLOR=transparent]t didn't take long for Bon to slide right in with the club. In his debut, he fought and nearly won a fair match over the captain of the team, Aslan Demir. Bon used the strength he had acquired on the streets in order to overpower Aslan, but Aslan was patient enough to see through Bon's brute force tactics. Swiftly punching him through a small window of opportunity. Quickly ending the fight in a K.O. When Bon awoke, he was frothing with rage and demanded a rematch. Aslan, smiled and offered to teach him on how to beat him. How to win. Aslan’s father was a professional boxer and coach. Aslan used what he had learned from his father to help teach Bon and others the way of boxing.[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent] It wasn’t long before Bon had caught up to Aslan, becoming tied for the best boxer in the club. The two were always training, practicing, and sparring. The boxing club was small, but no one made a greater mess than Bon and Aslan. The floors always splattered with their sweat and blood. Between the two, whenever the clashed, there were no bars held. Aslan was patient and striked hard when the time was right, but Bon would always take the aggressive approach. His swings always coming in a quick flurry while still retaining his naturally hardened strength. Bon would either become too eager and punched down quickly or Aslan would become overrun and was forced into a battle of endurance as he was berated with punches. Neither would tire easily or dare surrender from a fair match. Each one always ended in blood. The blood was never cold, never spiteful, but always warm. The arena would always roar with excitement as the two would duel. When Aslan took victory, his laughter would always fill the room, then extending his arm to his friend and peer. When Bon took his, he would just simply smile but would always extend his hand for his opponent. Something he would've never done for anyone on the street. [/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent] Eventually Bon had exceeded beyond Aslan’s teachings, but yet he yearned for a greater challenge. Not that Bon ever grew bored of Aslan’s challenges, but he wanted more. After a few months in the club, Aslan’s father, [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent]Gökhan, had came for a visit only to witness another brutal match between Bon and Aslan. This time, Bon had once again put Aslan on a heavy defense as he swept in with a flurry of punches. Though, Aslan had been waited and landed a clean punch straight to the jaw. Thrown back from the surprise attack, Bon quickly recovered only to pat or side step Aslan’s assault. Throwing in his own punch as his own back was pinned on the wall, which connected with his gut. In a moment of opportunity, Bon unleashed his usual furry on Aslan. Aslan Fell and Bon joined him on the floor taking a breath. Bon let out a chuckle as Aslan’s voice rose in surprise as he noticed his onlooking father. [/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]After their match, Gökhan was impressed with the Bon’s and Aslan’s performance. Seeing the potential for Bon and Aslan to grow as a boxer, Gökhan took Bon under his wing. Bon would accompany Aslan to his normal home practices and would further drive in the lessons during their regular boxing practice time. [/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent] The two eventually went on to compete on a national competition after the two had won local tournaments. Bon ripped through the lower matches with his trained and hardened skills. His once aggressive nature tamed, to a point. Neither his strikes nor his willingness to strike first faltered, but like Aslan, he learned to be more patient for the one opening. Waiting for that opening or mistake to unleash hell and pummel his opponent. Even his childhood nickname stuck to him here. Despite his bloody reputation in and out of the ring, Bon still finds a sense of pride in the name. Especially when he can see the fear in his opponents. Though, finding someone lacking that fear is even more exciting. Bon was never much for being loud, but he’s inside screamed with excitement at the thought of a challenge. His feeding of the urge to fight grew and grew as he trained, even being able to stand toe to toe with Gökhan at times. It made him burst with pride. Though, he would've probably won the national tournament. Had his Urges not overtake him and he once again beat his opponent within an inch of their life. Though, had he taken just a moment to look past the bloodlust, he would of saw he was beating his best friend into the ground. Splattered his blood all over the arena floor. Maybe even cracked a few bones. Bon doesn’t remember clearly how he left his friend, but he hasn’t seen him or his father since being disqualified for using too much force in the arena. [/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent] But his talent somehow got him noticed in a school far away. All the way in England. Estorra Academy. Feeling he needed to leave and go somewhere else until he overcame his past and improve as a boxer. One he felt would be worthy of facing his old friend again. Once again looking him in the eye and giving a smile before just before a match. It ate at him that he utterly destroyed his reputation on that stage. Bon had heard rumors of his recovery and reentry back into the tournaments, but by then, he was already leaving for Estorra Academy. A place he felt he would come to solve his past and become a better person to one day confront his only friend in the world. [/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Relationships-[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Family: [/BCOLOR] [BCOLOR=transparent]Gökhan Demir[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent] The closest thing Bon has ever had to a father. He was Bon’s and Aslan’s mentor, but he hans’t seen him since his last fight with Aslan in the arena. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Friends: Aslan Demir[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]His closest friend. It was due to the guilt and feeling of needing to improve his character that he strived to join Estorra Academy after being scouted in hopes of one day being able to reunite proudly with his friend. To say sorry for what had happened before he left. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Enemies: Majority of the neighborhood kids in his previous residence.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Miscellaneous-[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Voice: Josh Grelle[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Other: His nickname is in his native tongue Turkish, It means tiny demon. He acquired the nickname for bloody fighting nature and short stature. [/BCOLOR]

"If I could just save one life, that's one less dead on this earth."

General-

Full Name: Doctor Suyong Park

Nickname(s): Raphael (After the Archangel, for her medical proficiency), So Young (joke about her age),

Age: 18

Birthday: October 12, 1997

Gender: Female

Nationality: Korean-American

Sexual Orientation: Asexual

Zodiac Sign: Libra, the Scales

SHSL: Doctor

Personality-

Virtues:

Doctor Park is one of the most skilled doctors in the entire medical field. Her ability in almost any section of the field is unmatched. She's very good with her hands and very careful to avoid mistakes. She finishes a job, and from there, moves on. She's very patient and willing to wait. Her bedside manner is the best it can be, and she maintains it even when not dealing with a patient.

Flaws: Her kindness can be easily mistaken for weakness. She believes in the good of everyone, and this can be easily abused. She tends to overwork herself to the point of exhaustion. Whenever she's near a body of water or in an elevator, she begins to panic.

Personality: Doctor Park is a calm, focused person. She cares deeply for her patients and those under her care, and makes sure that they are safe and cared for before taking care of herself. She's very quiet at first, but once someone grows on her, she tends to open up around them. She has a very good sense of humor, however some jokes and sarcasm tend to fly right over her head. She always wants what's best for her patients, and will do anything for them. Her bedside manner is praised, and she tries to maintain it, even when not dealing directly with a patient.

When someone attempts to hurt her, someone under her care, or someone around her, she flies into a rage and becomes defensive. If they anger or threaten her enough, she will defend herself with anything nearby.

Likes:

She likes helping others, obviously.
Cinnamon gum is a favorite flavor of hers.
Reading, especially a good non-fiction book, though she likes fiction too.
She really likes eating red meat. Medium-Rare steak is her favorite meal.

Dislikes:

Those that hurt her, her patients, fellow doctors, or those around her.
Extreme Temperatures, both cold and hot.
Flying. She'll do it, but she won't want to.
Boats. Too easy to fall off and drown.
The taste of metal. Like when your nose bleeds into your throat.

Fears:
She fears that she and her work won't be remembered.
She has claustrophobia, to the point of not getting on elevators.
She fears drowning. Both of these fears are due to a kidnapping that occurred during a job, and leave her with significant trauma when it comes up.

Mannerisms: She is usually chewing a piece of cinnamon flavored gum. She tends to straighten her lab coat and rearrange the pens within the pocket. She speaks using large words, and often sprinkles Latin or Korean into her statements.

Physical Appearance-

Height: 173.9 cm, or 5'8"

Weight: 70.3 kg, or 155 lbs

Blood Type: AB RH D (Universal Recipient)

Clothing: She usually wears a modest button up shirt and a skirt. Her hair is usually loose and flowing. She tries to maintain a modest, professional look while dealing with people.

When working in medicine, she wears blue scrubs. However, if what she's working with is an infectious disease, she typically wears a HAZMAT suit so as to prevent the spread of the infection.

The lab coat is a given. She's always wearing that no matter her clothing. You can't be a doctor without a pristine white lab coat.

Background-

Place of Birth:

Barnes-hospital.jpg

Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Saint Louis Missouri, USA.

Full History:

Doctor Park has been there. She has helped a rich man recover from the top of a luxury skyscraper. She has slept in a small cabin in Nepal with people dying of fever. She has been held at gunpoint and watched as fellow doctors were killed for giving aid to an enemy. She has seen almost anything.

She was born to Kim Park, a prominent board member for a multinational corporation. When her mother was on a job in St. Louis, her water broke, and she was rushed to the hospital. Suyong's father, Robert Park, was teaching a class at Princeton when she was born, and was not there. Suyong was born in St. Louis Missouri, and saw her actual home in Princeton, New Jersey a week later.

She was raised with a mother who was constantly travelling, and a father who was constantly busy. Suyong was basically forced to raise herself, however, her family doted on her when available, and made her feel loved, so she didn't live a sad life. She taught herself to read, and was ahead of the rest of the class when she first went to school. She retained almost all of the information she was taught.

When she was five, her sister Yoo Mi was born. Her sister was born with hemophilia, the same disease that had killed Suyong's uncle. Yoo Mi was protected by her family, and constantly in the hospital. Suyong told herself that she would help her sister any way she could using her knowledge.

At age 7, Suyong began to study deeply. She went to the Princeton Library, and checked out all of the books on Medicine that she could get. She engrossed herself in them, learning everything there was to learn and absorbing the information from them. Her parents found out one day when they found her quoting from a Medical Journal over breakfast one morning.

When she was 10, Suyong went to college. While at college, she stayed to herself, and didn't interact with anyone unless she absolutely had to. She studied pre-Med and took a course in Forensic Anthropology as well so that she could learn all about humans.

When she was 14, she entered Medical School. She specialized in Infectious Diseases, but dabbled in other fields including psychiatry, sports medicine, and surgery. As an intern, she showed remarkable aptitude, even better than several of the older doctors at the hospital.

"Their heart rate's dropping. Get a crash cart in here, STAT!"

At 17, After graduating medical school, she took a job at the World Health Organization. Her first job was to treat an outbreak of meningitis in a remote Chinese Village. When that was all over, she was transferred to Sub-Saharan Africa where she and her entire team were caught in the middle of a conflict, and taken hostage along with several missionaries. This was where she gained her fear of drowning and claustrophobia, because her kidnappers attempted to waterboard her, nearly killing her. The other members of her team were forced to dig their own graves, and then they were executed. Once her ransom was paid, she took a small break from aid work, and worked in the hospital, as well as the personal doctor for a colleague of her mother's.

"It's ok, we're going to get out of this."

Her parents sent her to Estorra so that she could further her medical research. They thought that, despite the controversies and issues, it was a place where Suyong could focus on developing her medical research and perhaps progress her education even further.

((I tried to base it off of something believeable, as the actual youngest doctor was a 17 year old genius. I have her a way to get smarter, and a reason to become a doctor.))

Relationships-

Family:

"My Mother was the most supportive, spurring me on ahead in my work. My father started out hesitant, but began to appreciate what I was doing. And my sister? She's the reason I got into this line of work."

Her Mother, Kim: One of her most vocal supporters. Her mother works on the board for an international corporation, and is always travelling. It was Kim who taught Suyong about compassion and it's Kim who's her largest supporter.

Her Father, Robert: Robert is a Professor of Physics at Princeton University. He wasn't apt to the fact that his daughter was becoming a doctor, but he was amazed at the fact that she retained information and taught herself. He has grown from someone who doubted her, to one of the largest supporters.

Her little sister, Yoo Mi: Yoo Mi idolizes her sister. She was born with hemophilia and has to be careful in what she does, but she appreciates her sister's work ethic and uses her ideas to follow her dream of becoming an international K-Pop Idol.

Friends:

"I never had any friends growing up. I was always too busy, or I was weird. I did have a mentor, though. We were close. Oh, and those who comforted me in my trials."

Doctor Alton: One of her best friends, Doctor Alton is a fellow medical student that Suyong has worked with for the majority of her medical career. He's been there to support her, and has always assisted her.

Father Timothy: A priest who was also caught up in the conflict Suyong was taken hostage in. Father Timothy acted as Suyong's spiritual advisor and kept her sane. He was traded back to the US along with Doctor Park, and they've attempted to maintain contact since.

Roger L. Frankweiler: More a friend of her mother's,

Pets: (If they have any)

Enemies: N/A

Miscellaneous-

Face Claim: Himori Kaoru

Voice: Taeyeon, a soft-spoken but mature voice. I can't find any of her talking, sadly.

Character Banner: Yeah, I think you'll need to make this.

Color of Dialogue: "The Hippocratic Oath: But first, do no harm. That's my code."

But...may someone help with the character banner? It'd be appreciated.
I will. By the way, what's your character's Face Claim?

I will. By the way, what's your character's Face Claim?
Umm.. I saw that in the CS but I wasn't sure what that really meant.
Looking at the others I can kinda see what it is, but, I don't think it really applies to the picture I found. I can check, but is it alright if it doesn't?

I suppose it's fine. But it would be nice if a knew who the face claim was. It also helps me with the banner...

*evilly continues to make my character*

Everyone should be her friend by the way.

Is it cool if I just post the WIP and finish it later on tonight or whatever? :o

General

Full Name: Aran Ekis
Age: 18
Birthday: September 8
Gender: Male
Nationality: ???
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Zodiac Sign: Virgo
SHSL: Omniglot

Personality

Virtues: Dependable, good listener, accepting, kind to total strangers
Flaws: Resists authority, secretive, no sense of attachment (even to family)

Personality: From a young age, Aran had ideals of acceptance and protectiveness hammered into his head. He grew up believing that the perfect person is one who always treats others with boundless kindness and hospitality, never loses their temper, and steps up to the plate whenever they're needed. Aran's personality often reflects these ideals, but his bottomless desire for total equality can push him into darker territory. He looks at the current state of the world, where the strong oppress the weak and the rich get richer, and he sees a living Hell. Something that needs correcting. Aran says he would do anything for his parents but the truth is that he'd drop them in a heartbeat if it meant the opportunity to even out the power balance of the world. Not that you'd ever guess it by talking to him; Aran treats even complete strangers with the same infinite patience he learned growing up. And why shouldn't he? If he started being cruel, he would become part of the problem. And so he never drops his smile. Never.

Likes: Live music performances (especially woodwinds), strongly-scented flowers, reptiles
Dislikes: Being touched without his permission
Fears: Being disliked, wide-open spaces

Physical Appearance

Height: 5'4"
Weight: 128 lbs.
Blood Type: AB
Clothing: Just a tan tank-top and some loose-fitting brown pants. (If the academy has a uniform, he wears that without altering it at all.)

Background

Place of Birth: Australia, though his time speaking so many languages means he has virtually no default accent.

Full History: If you listened to Aran describe himself, you might think it hypocritical of him to become a student at Estorra Academy. The truth is, he never wanted to enroll. It was true that he had an uncanny talent, but he never wanted to rub that in anyone's faces. He could only blame his occasional stints as a professional translator for foreign dignitaries for drawing Estorra Academy's attention. The only reason he accepted the invitation was to satisfy his parents.

As for his life before Estorra, Aran has seen a veritable whirlwind of culture. His family has always prided themselves on taking lessons from as many different societies as possible, and Aran's family tree is so culturally diverse that it's nearly impossible to pin him down to any one nationality. He has been moving around the world since birth, initially guided by his parents before gradually developing the same love of exploration as them and finding his own direction in life. Aran has always had an almost-supernatural knack for picking up languages and learning to speak them as if he'd lived in the country all his life, and spending time in so many different countries naturally led to him speaking dozens of different languages. Some people joke that Aran doesn't even have his own voice, that he steals the voices of the natives so he can have a flawless accent.

As Aran grew older, he developed a strong sense of independence and started traveling separately from his parents. He did contract work as a translator to support himself, putting him in touch with many high-ranking officials and even royalty. The more he traveled, the more he felt a growing sense of unease. It was appalling, just how far these higher-ups were above normal people like himself. Was that really okay? Or could he do something about it? Bitter thoughts started circulating in his worldview, but his highest priority has always been maintaining his own values. That was what finally pushed him to accept the invitation he received to Estorra Academy -- he mustn't make his parents angry. Maybe he will even learn something new from the other students. He will just have to stay optimistic.

Relationships

Family: Raenia Ekis (mother), Taro Ekis (father)
Friends: Aran would call just about everyone he meets his friend, but it's very rare for him to feel attached to any of them.
Pets: A male boa constrictor named Adamas. He has his own spacious glass tank in Aran's dorm, shipped straight from home.
Enemies: None, at least not that Aran is aware of.

Miscellaneous

Voice: Saitama from the OPM dub, I guess?? I dunno I'm not good at picking voices. Aran also mirrors the accent of whatever language he's speaking perfectly.
Character Banner: Thanks to Mirai.
Color of Dialogue: "Oh, I'm no good at impressions... If I try to change my voice it just comes out as me in a different accent."

Note: Obviously I don't speak multiple languages, so if Aran needs to show off, I'll use one of two methods: Google Translate for when I want to emphasize the fact that other people don't understand him (like if he's asked to demonstrate his talent), or an alternate text color and/or font for when he's carrying on a conversation in another language with someone who actually speaks it. In the event of the former, let's just all pretend he's actually speaking fluently. c:
