"I'm afraid I cannot tell you exactly what it is at the moment. Perhaps after your meeting. Excuse me if this does bother you so." He said in response, now realizing he talked about work too much. He started to walk in pace with the horse, giving off a slight gleam of happiness in his eyes. "Though, I would like to know about your job."

Delynn chuckled slightly, slowing her horse only a little when she feared it may be going too fast for Mysterious Mike. Even his answer to her question about his job was mysterious - what kind of courier didn't like to tell people he was a courier? He must not be a courier then, the mage replied to herself, rolling her eyes internally at her foolishness. Delynn's childlike naivety was an often affliction, but she was sometimes able to catch herself in the act. Sometimes, being the keyword.

"But, that's not fair, is it?" she said with a smirk. "I'd like to know about your job, and you'd like to know about mine, but it appears I asked you first, and you won't tell me anything..." She pouted slightly, although involuntary. "I suppose none of our careers will be discussed, then..."

She used the wily, almost seductive sounding voice she heard from some of her colleagues now and again, and imagined in her head when she read about equally wily and seductive characters in her favorite books. She figured it was the best response for this situation, seeing as how she read about something similar in one of her aforementioned books. Mage girl goes out on a journey to do something important and unknown to her, meets a mysterious stranger who escorts her on her mission, and they exchange clever banter. It was on a bucket list of daydreams of her's. Why not strike while the iron is hot? Although, she did sound a little silly, looking at her words in retrospect. Hmph.

He chuckled and looked at her, smirking. "Oh, but do you not remember? Surely you can tell what I am by remembering all that I have said and done." He said as he then looked back and started sprinting faster, letting his arms hang back and each step taken was tip-toed. (Kinda like a Lucario would run XD)

Name: Arthur
Race:Skeleton
Age:Unsure, less the 100 years old
Appearance: 6,4 broad frame, wears rusty armor and wields an old mace and tower shield. Only skeleton part exposed is his head
Bio: Doesn't remember very much about his previous life, thinks he was a town guard but is not very sure. Has plans on using the crystal for his own purposes. Skilled warrior with a mace

As Arthur made his way towards the castle, he became aware of a horse trotting in his direction. He had hoped that he would not run into anyone, and someone on horseback could easily be an issue. Arthur stopped and looked in the direction of the trotting, seeing two figures in the distance quickly making their way in his direction. Knowing that he would not be able to outrun them, Arthur decided to hold his ground, and wait for the strangers to reach him.

His eyes turned to a figure in the distance and he held his arm out, making the horse stop. He was good with animals, and he loved them. "Someone is up ahead. I will go and see what they want. You may follow, but keep your distance for they may be dangerous." He said right before he started sprinting up. It didn't take long at all for him to reach the figure, and when he did, he stopped at least 8 feet away. He completely ignored the skull part showing because he had seen worse. From the armor and weapon, along with the shield, he had assumed he either stole equitment, or he was guarding. He awaited a response before deciding he would speak.

Arthur faced the man who sprinted up to him "Impressive, you must be pretty fast to keep up with a horse" he noted. If this man was an enemy it wouldn't be an easy fight. "Glad to see someone else on the road, ive been on my own for a while. The last couple of people I've met attacked me on sight" Said Arthur trying to angle his head in an nonthreatening position.

"I know how it is." He motioned that it was okay for her to come closer, but he tried to mention to be careful with sign language. He stared at the man and quirked an eyebrow. "Do you work for the king?"

"No i work for myself, are you and your friend working for him?" Asked Arthur

"I do not work for one specific person." He stated. "I am not sure about my friend." He bluffed, trying to keep her as safe as possible. "Now if you do not mind, we must pass." He motioned for his companion to go through first, as he would go behind in case the man decided he would attack.

"Were you two heading? Im on my way to the capital myself, if you're going the same way why don't we travel together" Said Arthur feeling that these two were docile enough to not worry about "Its always nice to have company, and its a long walk"

"Er... That wouldn't be up to me, sir. It would be up to my aquiantance here." He said as he looked at her.

((Gonna try and revive this))
He looked back at his 'friend' and nodded. He was leaving the choice up to her. Though he wouldn't exactly consiter her as a true friend, he did promise her his services, plus she did prove herself trustworthy thus far.
