APPEARANCE

Sabrina stands at about 5'7" / 170cm tall, and still growing she's sure. She also weights about 125lbs / 56kgs but don't ask her to share this or you're sure to get a slap to the face. Sabrina has a mesomorph body type and an hour glass figure that she's pretty confident about. Currently she's rocking long pastel pink hair, courtesy of her best friend Scriven. However, Sabrina, is a natural blonde. Ever since she was a child she dreamed of having long princess hair, and now she gets to see that dream in fruition. Finally, she's managed to grow her hair to a length she can be satisfied with.

Her hair falls down her back in healthy, silk strands and stops just above her butt. Her hair is her pride and joy and easily one of her more 'distinguishable features'. She takes extremely good care of her hair. Some might even say her hair maintenance is compulsive but she doesn't care. Her skin is soft to the touch and fair much like how one might read in a fairy tale and her lips are plump and smooth like satin. Her eyes are bright and mischievous as they shine a cool turquoise in color. What sort of style does she prefer to adorn? Anything fashionable of course. She's been spoiled with lavish things from both her mother and her biological father ever since she was born so she has an eye for good things. She can switch up her style at a moments notice, so it really all depends on what she's in the mood for.

PERSONALITY

Just because she's a natural blonde hair doesn't mean she's some dumb bimbo and just because she's smiling doesn't mean she caring and kind. There's usually an ulterior motive to Sabrina's actions. She's always working some angle in which the outcome will benefit her in the end. But that's not where it ends, she also puts her quick thinking to good use should she ever need to cover her tracks. Rina’s philosophy is to stay at least 5 steps ahead of everyone else, that way she can keep the surprises to a minimum. She also doesn't care about how she achieves something she wants as long as she gets it.

She has no shame when it comes to using her charms or looks to weasel her way into getting the things her heart desires. She figures she has a right to choose how she uses her powers since they belong to her after all. Even if others might find it unbecoming of her, she doesn’t care. She knows better than most that in this world things aren’t gonna be given to her. She’s gonna have to fight for it.

She like to think of herself as the queen of sass and always has something to say. So it’s only natural that her mouth ends being the main thing that gets her in trouble. Sometimes she even finds herself regretting things she’s said. Sometimes she’s too quick and despite knowing this is one of her weaknesses, it’s just that. She hasn’t quite learned a perfect way to counter this little bad habit of hers. Sabrina isn't afraid of doing whatever the hell she wants, whenever the hell she wants to.

Rina is a very emotional person. That being said, when she's angry, she is fucking angry and everyone knows it. She’s known for having several ways of expressing her anger, one of them being a silent, boiling rage. This one is particularly dangerous since no one knows how she’ll react. They're left guessing, on the edge of their seats. Other times it’s a more visible sort of anger that typically involves violence and yelling. Sabrina is the type of person to hold grudges. Immature she knows but she can’t help herself. If anyone has done anything wrong to her in the past she won't forget it. She believes in karma but she also believes that revenge is a dish best served immediately.

HISTORY

Sabrina once read a book that had this quote, 'We are not defined by the circumstances of our birth but it's what we do with our lives that defines us,' Ever since reading that quote it's managed to stick in Sabrina's heart eventually becoming the very mantra she has today. The circumstances of her birth were...less than satisfactory but that was nothing that she could control. She spent years feeling guilty and being made to feel guilty for just being able to breathe. She was birthed by a cheater, an unfaithful woman, wife, and mother. Not only that but she had committed the greatest sin of laying in bed with a lesser blood, one with ties to a magical creature nonetheless. Thus making Sabrina the accursed half breed that every pure blood seemed to 'fear' or 'hate'. She was tainted, destined to be hated and ostracized by her family members and people at school.

The young quarter-veela grew up believing she was some sort of monster. That had to be the reason her step-father could only glare at her with contempt while he refused to speak or touch her. However she wasn't hated by all, her mother adored her and would constantly shower her with praise and affection. To a degree this lessened a bit of the blow from the treatment of her step-father and other's in her family. However as she continued to grow older she just realized how fucked up everything really was. She also was in contact with her biological father, something her mother told her to keep a secret, at least while she was younger. Her biological father was much different than that of her step-father. He loved her unconditionally and vowed to do his best never to hurt her. Sabrina might have had some unfortunate humps growing up but at the end of the day she was still loved by some and that's what made the difference. That's what kept her from spiraling into darkness and that is ultimately what kept her alive and sane.

Her older sister, Anice, always looked after her as well. They were mere months apart however their worlds couldn't be further from each other. She held no judgement towards Sabrina's tainted blood she just viewed her as family. To this day Anice is probably one of the only ones that can talk sense to Sabrina but not only that she's the most important person in her life. To her sister she was just...herself. She wasn't an object to be scorned or worshiped. Sabrina appreciated the honesty from Anice more than anything. She knew at her core that Anice truly wanted the best for her and she always did her best to look after her. Sabrina wasn't stupid however, she was aware Anice had her hands tied. There wasn't much she could do to resist their parents and Sabrina wouldn't want to put her in a position to choose anyway. In this situation, it really was the thought that counted.

Growing older her heart became colder towards her pure blooded family members. She no longer recognized the man in her life as her step-father but instead as a tyrant. Seeking to control her without having to acknowledge her. She hated him. She hated the rest of her family too. Forever looking down on her and never giving her the chance to even prove she could half as good as they. A seed of rebellion was sewn in the veela and bitterness is what nourished that seed. Going to school was no different from home except for one detail, she could change at school. And so she did, she took the bull by the horns and worked to make a name for herself in Hogwarts. Fuck the teachers, and fuck the students that looked down on her just because of who she was, she'd prove to them all, and to herself, that she was worth a damn.

However, that was easier said than done. Making any sort of worthwhile relationship she found herself in the midst of trouble. Were the people she surrounded herself with genuinely there for her, because they liked her, or because they were attracted to her by means out of her control? The more she tried to get to the bottom of this the more she found herself being hurt. One particular case being a boyfriend of hers who transferred away. She refuses to talk about that situation to this day. Pessimism and mistrust became her closest companions during those days and she found herself in the middle of a crisis. She felt like she was drowning even while being on the ground.

Still, she refused to go out without a fight, and fight she did. Sabrina worked tirelessly and eventually she did develop a name for herself. Soon she was on the up and up at Hogwarts. Building a sort of 'social empire' for herself. Where other's admired or found themselves envious of. She had just as many enemies as she had in loyal admirers and that was when she knew she had it. Influence. The key to any successful social regime. Sabrina became popular, and not just among the students in her grade, no, she was popular throughout the halls of Hogwarts. She had connections everywhere, and with meticulous planning she now sits atop her lonely throne.

FUN FACTS

  • Sabrina is a dancer and has been dancing since she was little. Her father noticed how excited she was about the subject and he signed her up for classes. That's where Sabrina met her childhood best friend Garaile.
  • Sabrina's favorite food is cheesecake so that's one way to get on her good side, is to give her cheesecake
  • Sabrina's a pretty good singer but she doesn't usually showcase it or anything.
  • Sabrina is Captain of the Slytherin Dueling Club
  • She has a a frosty(white and grey) Holland Lop (bunny) named Mimi
  • Magical Artifact: Enchanted Tote: With a little help from the Capacious extremis charm Sabrina was able to, illegally, get her hands on something even better than the standard issue magical trunk. Of course she has to remain discreet for fear of being caught by the Ministry, but her tote helps her to carry all sorts of items with her from home she just couldn't possibly leave. It also helps when she hosts her annual Halloween Party every year. Her renting costume business never fails to bring a lot of coins to her purse every year.
  • Signature Spell: Fumos Duo (Smoke bomb spell) usually happens first. It's flashy and draws attention, everything Sabrina loves, but also is something that a lot of people don't expect. Sabrina is quick, extremely so, so if she casts this first she can easily follow up with her other signature spell/charm which would be a Disillusionment Charm. When the smoke clears you need a wow factor and this is it. Besides, you can't hit what you can't see.
  • Boggart: Fear of Dolls | Her Boggart manifests itself as her in a porcelain doll form that begins to crack. Making noises as if it's in pain while trying to make its way to her, the bride of Chucky style.

The reason behind the Boggart | Sabrina's fear is a bit more on the complex side. Nothing normal like a fear of spiders or darkness, or closed spaces. But rather her fear is more of a sense of losing herself. Or more specifically a fear of herself/beauty. What is she really without her looks? If she were to lose those who would she be? What would she be? How would life continue on? So how does she cope with that day to day? It's more so learning to cope with the skin she's in. She gets extremely uncomfortable when she has to result to using her charm or when she has those admirers that she knows are only around because of her beauty.
  • Magical Gift: CHARM: Pretty simple, every veela and variation of the creature has this. (Though only females can use this said charm whereas this ability remains dormant in male veelas) Some prefer to let it flow naturally while others learn to control it. Sabrina is a bit in the middle. For her, it manifests itself in a tingling sensation that dances across her skin. In order for her charm to be lasting and effective, she must make skin on skin contact with her target (usually those of the opposite sex but is not limited to). When she dances the tingling sensation consumes her and that is when her charm is the most potent. (This is also the only time in which her charm is the strongest and she is not required to make skin on skin contact.) She can manipulate charm without being physical but let it be known that it is not as effective and most times doesn't work at all.

It's also known that Full Veela's when angry, appearances take on something more birdlike and they shoot fireballs from their hands. Half-veela's (and those afterwards) cannot produce fireballs nor do their appearances shift into a more birdlike resemblance. However what Sabrina has noticed is that when she is furious, (having a temper seems to run genetically [jk]) her hands begin to smoke and at times possibly even spark! Almost as if she on the brink of producing fireballs but never actually pulling it off.

PATRONUS

Red Fox: Associated with cunning, the fox has a place in many ancient cultures’ folklore. Foxes are sometimes thought to be tricksters, leading the unsuspecting down a path of demise. The calculating fox can outwit its enemies with strategy and adaptability. - Patrounus definition. | Sabrina's happiest memory would have to be when her father presented her a pair of ballet shoes and a pink tutu to match. When she was young it had been the single most important wish on her wish list and it was her father that made it come true. He told her that he'd take her to dance lessons and that's she'd get to be the princess ballerina she's always wanted. To this day she can't help but think about that memory and smile. While she's grown up now she still appreciates her father for paying attention to the dreams of her little heart and making them come true.

APPEARANCE

Ainslie is a shocking 5'4" tall, practically coming in at a half-giant's height shocking those around her. Just kidding, she's incredibly short and she has a slight complex about it too. Perhaps it's from being constantly teased about it but regardless if it's brought up prepared to kicked in the shins. She's also a ginger so she has no soul, or so the joke goes. Her hair is long and naturally straight burning bright orange in natural light. Ainsle's also an ectomorph so her body is skinny with little to no curves. She's also a little self conscious about that too so if you value your life you won't bring up how small her chest is.

She has a black hole for a stomach and can inhale as much junk food as she wants without really gaining anyway weight. That's a bonus for her since she hates working out to begin with. (Running is the devil's work) She has pale skin that will burn almost immediately with any contact with the sun. (It's why she's constantly prepared with all her SPF's when living at Hogwarts) Her eyes are a simple shade of brown, something she doesn't exactly care for but doesn't hate either.

She's blind as a bat without her glasses so one of her more notable features are her giant hipster glasses that she's always sporting. Her clothing style is comfort over fashion. Her favorite color is green so she usually is wearing something along those lines. She likes to rock earthy tones, typically not seen in pastels or super bright colors. She's a big fan of combat boots in all kinds of weather. Oh and thigh high's are her best friend. She kind of has this semi punk semi grungy style about her but she mostly likes to dress comfortable. Dresses are not included.

PERSONALITY

Ever since she was young it was clear to Ainslie's parents that this child of theirs had quite the dominant personality. Rather than being reserved Ainslie was bold and creative, not afraid to be who she was and let it shine. Nothing phased her on her imaginary adventures. She would always have some victory story to tell her parents. Whether she bested the boogieman or wrestled some dragon. This girl was brave and she seemed fearless.

Of course, growing up she turned into more of the assertive type. Ainslie is someone who is passionate and decisive. She knows what she wants and she willing to work hard to get it too. No matter how difficult the task might be she is determined to get to the bottom of it, only presenting her best forward. Ainslie is pretty secretive by nature though. She doesn't like sharing a lot about her struggles or opening up about her weaknesses. Though once she does manage to trust someone and open up to them she ends up revealing herself as a loyal and true friend.

She's a bit distrusting though. She's not stupid and she knows that life isn't out there to grant her all her wishes and give her the best things. So naturally she doesn't give her heart to everyone, she's been burned too many times. She also has a bad habit of being violent. It's the way she expresses herself. She's been "rough" ever since she was a kid and that hasn't gone away. When she's angry she's more likely to use her fists than anything else. And to be honest it's not hard to get her angry. She also can be pretty jealous. When she does have friends she can have some possessive tendencies and so sometimes she'll find herself envious of people she cares about spending time with others or things of that nature. She knows it's a bad trait to have and she's working on it.

While Ainslie might be a bit on the reserved side with a bit more introverted habits than most, doesn't mean she's shy. She can socialize and socialize well. Typically if she can prevent it she'd rather stay away from crowds or speeches like that. But there are times where she does feel energized from a conversation, it's just not often. But that doesn't make her socially inept either. She can be quite the charismatic charmer should she want to be. But typically, what's comfortable for her is her honesty and nothing but that. Cold. Hard. Facts. Served at anyone's leisure who dares to approach her. Some people might say she's insensitive but that's not true either. Ainslie can easily empathize with others around her but she also knows the value the truth can bring. (Or the lack thereof like she has come to realize herself.)

HISTORY

Aileen and Finley couldn’t have kids of their own. They had tried everything under the sun but nothing seemed to work and it was tragic but it was life. Still, even if they couldn’t have kids naturally they didn’t give up hope on starting a family. So they looked into adoption as their next step. Ultimately what ended up leading them to the woman that was carrying Ainslie, was the fact that the social worker told them about a young mother who had attempted abortion but it didn’t work.

At which point when the mother found out the abortion didn’t work she was already four months pregnant and she just didn’t feel comfortable trying to terminate the now growing baby again. So she decided to give up the baby. Hearing this story shook the young couple to their core. They felt for the unborn child but also felt for the mother as well. So they decided that they wanted the child she was carrying. They also wanted to get to know the mother as well. While it was clear she just wanted to get this thing over with, Caroline, the mother, appreciated the attention and respect she received from the Morrison’s. The Morrison’s were willing to help her with any expense regarding the baby and her development, which was helpful for the single parent.

When the time came down to it, and she was about to have the baby, she made it clear to the parents she didn’t want anything to do with the child after all of this. It was a decision she hadn’t come to rush and make. She had thought about it a lot and just figured the child would grow up better believing those two were her parents instead of knowing the truth. While the Morrison’s didn’t exactly agree completely with what she was saying they understood where she was coming from and respected Caroline’s decision.

The moment the baby girl was born the Morrison’s were in love. Aileen describes the immediate love she had for the child almost as if she had birthed the child herself. Finley and Aileen had already decided on the name for their little girl, Ainslie. It was something that they had thought of for a while before she had been born. True to Caroline’s word once the baby was born she was out of the picture. She appreciated the Morrison’s for everything they did for her and the baby and that she would never be able to repay them for their kindness. Then she was gone from their lives. Even currently the Morrison’s don’t know how to reach out and contact her.

Aileen and Finley were determined to raise Ainslie as their own because she was. Just because they didn’t have her by natural means didn’t make them any less her parents. They loved her unconditionally and wanted to give her the best they could offer. Of course, parenting was difficult but they never regretted their decision, not once. Ainslie can confidently say her childhood was probably the happiest time of her life. Sure there were times where she felt down but the overall love and cheerfulness she feels when she thinks back to those times let her know she really was cared for and loved, which is important to note.

Her parents didn’t tell her she was adopted, which in hindsight they regret. It was a huge secret and while Ainslie will always be theirs she deserved to know the truth. Still, Ainslie grew up without a clue, and she was happy in her blissful ignorance, she really was. However, as she got older she started to notice things about her were...strange. Like how she would wake up and objects around her would float. She honestly thought she was pulling some Matilda movie stunt, but she was also scared because strange things like that just shouldn’t happen. She could remember looking up videos on paranormal happenings and superpowers in the real world. She was convinced she was some sort of freak and couldn’t tell her parents about it or the government would come for her and kill them. Conspiracy theories and all of that. (The internet is no place for a scared child, just saying)

At eleven she got a letter in the mail telling her she was invited to attend some Wizard school. At first, she thought it was a joke but then again, what if this was part of the conspiracy? Maybe she had it wrong the entire time? She couldn’t bring herself to disregard the letter so suddenly. Perhaps it was true, maybe she really was different? Would it be so bad to believe this thing? She knew it sounded ridiculous which is why she didn’t bring it up to her parents. That was until she received a visit from a woman dressed in black attire.

She could remember thinking that this was it. The government had found out about her. Probably looking through her search history even though she had been extremely careful, apparently, it wasn’t good enough. But the woman was there to confirm what the letter had told her, but this time it was for her parents and her. Apparently, those strange things she had been observing happening around her were natural and it was because she was magical or whatever the hell that meant. To be honest she was pretty excited about it, about learning about a whole new world. (No pun intended)

Her parents, however, seemed to be a bit more bothered by the sudden turn of events. The woman explained how the magical traits that Ainslie displayed could lay dormant for a while and people could go through life not knowing about their ties to the magical world. Once the woman had left however her parents decided to tell her the truth, about everything. It was funny how quickly her mood could shift. How fast it seemed like the floor had been ripped from underneath her. Learning that your parents aren’t your parents is never easy. She never once saw this sort of thing coming. She never thought once, oh, I might not be related to my parents! So finding out the truth came as a huge slap in the face.

She was pretty mad at her parents she won’t lie. How could they keep something so important from her? Now she had so many questions, it just opened up so many doors to things she didn’t realize she needed to know. Not to mention she now had to cope with the fact that her mother disliked her so much that not only had she tried to kill her but she got rid of her too. That does something to a kid's confidence and by self-esteem, Ainslie wasn’t good at expressing herself properly. Her outlet tended to be aggression and violence, which wasn’t good but she couldn’t help herself.

So her first year of Hogwarts was a bit rough for her, it was almost like she was having an identity crisis at the age of eleven and she didn’t know how to cope with that properly. She could understand why her parents did what they did but that didn’t make it okay and to be honest, she was pretty bitter about it. When she had told them she wanted to get in contact with her ‘real’ parents, her parents got offended. It was like they didn’t want her to reach out to them and they couldn’t understand why. Which only made Ainslie more pissed off because why would they deny her the truth even now? Her relationship with her parents grew awkward, especially since she was adamant about learning the truth. Even now, she had been looking into her real parents for years and not coming up with much, but she wouldn’t quit. She loved her parents, she really did but still to this day things aren’t the same between them.

FUN FACTS

  • Ainslie is really, really, really good at playing video games. Though it's to be expected when she spends almost all of her time glued to some sort of electronic. Still, she's competed in tournaments before and has won prizes. She also knows her way around the internet and occasionally can get her way through some firewalls or two. But that part is secret, so shhh~
  • Ainslie knows how to play the alto sax but believes it to be embarrassing so she doesn't exactly showcase it. Even though she's extremely good at it. She also has taught herself how to play the ukulele just because she was bored and found that more acceptable than the saxophone!
  • Ainslie is a pretty messy person, or at least it seems so on the surface but she is always nervous and bothered by things that are so "perfect" so she just has to mess it up. And while things might seem chaotic in her mess she knows exactly where her things are which should be surprising.
  • Ainslie is a really good flyer, she seems to have a natural talent for it. It was one of the things she immediately took to once she learned of her magical talents. As a child, everyone wishes they could learn to fly and this was as close as she was getting so she spent a lot of time just flying around. Not to practice but to enjoy the sense of freedom it gave her. Now she can do all sorts of tricks while on her broom, hence why she made a prime candidate to be her House's seeker on their Quidditch team.
  • Rather than just being someone who is obsessed with sweets, Ainslie is just an all around Foodie. She loves food, any kind of food (except the ones that will kill her and burnt stuff. Like let's be real if you burn food you're a disgrace and just shouldn't even step foot in a kitchen. How dare) Ainslie has a hard time putting on weight, as much as she wants to. She would love to have more curves, trust her, she knows she's lacking in some departments. It's probably the reason she clings to food so much. One day her metabolism will stop hating her and actually ease up a bit. But for now, she just enjoy's what she can get her hands on. Her mom always says she has a black hole for a stomach which just isn't true. She might eat a lot, (like a lot for the tiny person she is) but she won't eat her family out of house and home. Not yet at least. Her excuse is that she's a growing girl, but then her mom always replies with the fact that Ainslie has been the same height and weight for a couple years now which always warrants a stale face from her daughter.
  • Magical Artifact: Firebolt Supreme | After saving up her own hard owned money and with some help from her parents she could finally get herself her dream broom. (Once she was older her parents wanted to teach her to be independent instead always expecting them to give. And it helped not to spoil her) So after proving that she was faithful to this little hobby of her's and of course, maintaining her stellar grades, her parents decided to help her out a bit to get a better broom
  • Boggart: Ainslie's fear is of being alone. A deeper meaning of being unwanted on undesired mixed with a fear of rejection. Her boggart's manifestation is darkness which leads her to having Nyctophobia, a severe fear of the dark.
  • Ainslie is a animagus, a cat one to be exact. She is able to turn into a black and white cat.
  • Is Gryffindor's Seeker for the Quidditch team

PATRONUS

Raven: Raven is both a strong symbol of creation and destruction. Wisdom through intelligence, observation, and challenge. The Raven is strongly tied to the spiritual world, living in a constant state of otherworldly awareness. Raven people tend to be introspective and favor time spent "alone".

APPEARANCE

Will is 5'11" / 180cm tall really managing to hit his growth spurt quite late in the game. He has a mesomorph body type that has been whipped into shape by his constant need to better himself. Don't misunderstand it's all healthy. He just wants to make sure that he does his part in making sure he can live a long healthy life. That includes eating well and making a daily routine of exercising. Underneath his loose clothing is a body well toned and trained. Will had brown hair with streaks of blue dyed in the front for a 'fun' touch. His eyes are a disarmingly bright shade of blue that seems to just pierce the soul and his skin is fair. His smile is one of his distinguishing features because when it's authentic and genuine little dimples grace his features. Will's clothing style can be described as, "Dad clothes", at least that's what Elliot likes to say. Will is typically scene with clean cut oxford collars and vests or sweaters, polo's, chinos or khakis, boat shoes or other dress shoes. They give off a bit of an "older" hipster preppy vibe.

PERSONALITY

Ever since he was young, Will's mother would say he had a quiet spirit. When he would ask what that meant she would always smile at him and say it was the best kind of spirit. That really hasn't changed about him. He's soft spoken and reserved, preferring not being loud and standing out. In other words, he wasn't meant to be the star of the show but a supporting actor, one could say. He doesn't mind extending a helping hand to those that need it or encouraging those that need a pick-me-up. He's pretty slow to anger but that does not mean he doesn't get angry. When it's something he deeply cares about the force of his rage can be likened to the force of wind from a hurricane. He's intense and hard to handle then. He has no problem standing up for what he believes in. In fact, it's this fierce nature in him that he believes is part of the reason his house colors were Crimson and Gold instead of Sapphire and Bronze.

Will has clear lines of what he believes in, at least on some things. Not everything is so black and white. But when he believes in something he stands behind it, or them wholeheartedly. When danger comes around Will doesn't mind putting himself on the line to protect others. It's not out of some chivalrous duty or desire to have the glory, he just genuinely feels like it's the right thing for him to do. He usually has good intentions and has an innocent heart. He's good because he's a good person not because he has an ulterior motive. Here's where the chaotic part steps in, making him chaotic good instead. He doesn't always go the "correct" or "lawful" path. Again not because he's rebellious or something where he feels that rules are oppressive and are meant to be broken. But rather in some situations, where things are grey instead of black and white, rules can be more of a hindrance than a help to the situation. And when his ultimate goal is to be there for those that need him and help those that need help, he'll gladly cross that line when it comes down to it.

Will has a bad habit of being a perfectionist. Or rather that's the outcome from his obsessive tendencies. Because of how terrified he is of failing he has become obsessed with doing things right the first time. But not just right, perfectly. He can barely handle constructive criticism from himself let alone other people. He knows it's a problem and part of what triggers his depression, and he's getting help, but there are some things that you can't help. And wrapped all together with an awkward bow is Will's awkwardness itself. Normally socializing isn't his forte. He stumbles over words and is an avid over thinker. He'll have a whole conversation with someone in his head before he's even uttered a word in reality. However, when he teaches it's like he's a different person altogether. In fact, just about anything he's passionate about causes him to light up and forget all about those awkward fumbles he makes. Suddenly he's not afraid to stumble and be embarrassed, he's just excited to talk about what he loves.

HISTORY

She liked to call him her miracle baby. In fact, the story of how she got pregnant with him, to this very day, still brings tears to her eyes. He can't fault his mother for feeling this way though. Hell if he had gone through all she had to endure he'd feel the same. As a kid, hearing the story was one of his favorite past times. He could just remember thinking about how cool and strong his mother was whenever she would tell him. Her eyes would light up at certain parts of the story and no matter how many times he'd heard it before there were still parts that had him on the edge of his seat.

His mother would also tell him that he was a pretty quiet baby, or child in general. Never one to cry or fuss much, which Riona found odd but his father cherished. Riona would tell him how she had read so many books about parenting and how Will just threw a wrench in all of her planning because of how different of a baby and a child he was. Safe to say she was the one that spent the most time with Will growing up. Which would explain why he's so attached to her.

The relationship with his father is a bit more....rough. His dad was very strict and hard on him. He wanted his son to grow up strong, just like every father wants. But that wasn't really like him. He didn't like watching football games or doing other kinds of sports. He would rather read and draw. And when Will had issues with bullies his dad was the first to tell him to fight back, but at the time Will wasn't a fighter.

Hell, he still doesn't like to throw punches, but he can. It just seemed that everything his father wanted him to be was everything he was not, and that's a tough pill to swallow as a kid. Especially when you're like Will and all you want is approval from your father, which he barely gets, even to this day. Will believed, and still does believe, that his father loved him, but it would've been nice to actually hear so for a change. At this point now, they barely say anything together. He'd be lucky to have a full ten-minute conversation with the guy.

It was possibly the fear of disappointing his father that drove him pushing himself so hard to strive for perfection. The fear of disappointing his father was also the beginning signs of his boggart starting to show itself, he only now recognizes that. Still, even after all of the struggle, and still constant struggle with his father, he doesn't despise him. After all, regardless if it was stressful, his dad was pushing him to do great things too. Surely that meant he cared, right?

When it was time for Will to go to Hogwarts he had already been filled in heavily by his mom. However, this issue came when she had to tell his father. His father still thought they were....normal. When Will would ask why his mother never told him before then, she would always avoid the question or say something like "she never had the right time to tell him." He still doesn't know why she kept this secret from him. His Father didn't take to kindly to the news either. It was quite the stressful environment. He still has nightmares about how his dad threatened to both have them locked up in psychiatric wards and all the anger and screaming that took place.

Eventually, things calmed down, but the scars remained and it's something he thinks his parents still haven't moved on from. At least not completely. His years at Hogwarts went by quickly and he didn't really do anything out of the ordinary. He didn't like standing out, he still doesn't. But he did have above average grades constantly through the school year and he liked going to choir and orchestra practices himself. And even though he didn't like to stand out he was still a friendly face so plenty of people knew his name at least.

FUN FACTS

  • Normally Will is a bit more reserved, the quiet yet kind and thoughtful friend. He doesn't like being the center of attention and he gets nervous talking in front of crowds. But somehow he manages to teach and be really good at it. It's almost like he's a different person. They shy person he once was melts away and suddenly he's a wellspring of knowledge, charming yet cheeky, and totally energetic and in love, with the topic, he teaches on.
  • Will loves music. It's always been around him and a part of him since was little. His mother had him take piano lessons when he was little and she always said he had the sweetest singing voice. He doesn't think he's that great but he's been in a couple choirs while young. Music has helped him in the toughest of times. It speaks to him when he can't hear anyone else. When he's upset it calms him and sometimes it just helps him relax when he needs to. Because of his passion for music and the arts he loves to devote his free time to empowering others with those gifts too. Which is why he's the instructor for the Hogwarts Orchestra and Frog Choir. Seeing those kids do what they love makes him all warm and fuzzy on the inside.
  • Will is always challenging himself, he wants to be the best he can be. Partly because of his flaw and fear of failure but also because he just holds himself to a higher standard than most. As a teacher, Will is extremely out of his comfort zone but he always wants his students to feel like they have a safe environment to express themselves and learn and soak in the all the knowledge they could want. Most of that motivation comes from his own hopes and desires that didn't quite work out for him while he attended school
  • Will has always been a little awkward around the ladies. His friend Elliot gives him no rest. Not only does he get tongued tied around pretty girls but he's also probably the most oblivious guy on the earth. Or so Elliot always tells him. And it's not like he does it on purpose, it's just that the thought never crosses his mind that someone could actually like him. Like of all people why him? And sure he's had crushes before, hell he's even had a girlfriend but Elliot says girlfriend's when he was twelve don't count. Anyway, around pretty women or women he respects Will gets a bit flustered and is a bit more likely to make a fool of himself then.
  • He has a pipe that was given to him by his Pop-Pop and he cherishes it. He enjoys it every now and then.
  • While Will might not look it, his body is actually toned rather well. He does a lot of running and occasional weight lifting. His shoulders are broad and strong, and his core is powerful and you can see the slight definition of his abs. Oh, and of course when people see his calves while running they always comment on how intense the muscle is on those bad boys. It comes from years of practice. He's never been into sports but exercising is therapeutic to him so he does this a lot. But he also wears dad clothes a lot so no one really expects the Dad Prof, to be physically fit.
  • Will's biggest fear is failure and has been for the longest time. His boggart appears as a Howler that denounces him and his reason for being. Letting him know that he is unwanted and has let people down and most of all that the people he cares about the most are disappointed in him.
  • When Will isn't spending time teaching back home he works with the law as a Forensics specialist. His best friend and co-worker Elliot keeps him grounded and always manages to put a smile on his face with his goofy attitude.

APPEARANCE

Madison stands proudly at 5'5 1\2, welcoming an average height. Not too short, not too tall. What she might lack in height she makes up for in spirit and in punch. She has fair pale skin that tans nicely in the summer. She never really get's sun burns which is a blessing for her. She has dark brown, appears as if it's black, hair and piercing blue eyes to pair it with. When she was young she used to sport a short bob, preferring to have her hair at a short, reasonable length that way it was easier for her to take care of. However, her mother always hated that look on her, saying it made her look like a boy and she had no son. So recently to stem the tide of her mother's anger, she's grown her hair out. Her hair now falls down to her shoulder blades.

Also when she was younger she adopted more of a comfortable style, sometimes wearing boy clothes rather that girl ones. She hated skirts and dresses with frills. She didn't wish to play dress up she would rather have fun and play. Recently this is something she also "grew out of" for her mother's sake. She wears more feminine clothing, taking the time to 'care' for her appearance rather than dress for comfort. Body wise, Madison has an athletic build and a pear like body shape. Small chest and wide hips and thighs to match. Madi is constantly working out, not because she has to but because she wants to. It helps her perform better during quidditch so she like to keep her body in shape. Not to mention fitness just makes her feel good.

PERSONALITY

According to Madison's friends what you see is what you get with her. What is that exactly? Well, Madi is someone who's down to earth and a bit more liberal in thinking than her other pure-blood counterparts. Despite her mother's influence over her upbringing, Madi doesn't see eye to eye with the rest of her family, or even some of her friends. Instead of judging other's by the circumstances of their birth she'd prefer to base her opinions of others on their actions. Mostly because she's met plenty of pure-blooded jerks and really awesome people of 'lesser blood status'. Madison likes to believe she's a levelheaded girl who stands firmly on her convictions despite those convictions getting her into trouble. Her friends call it stubbornness but she just believes that if anyone is to take her seriously they have to witness her unwavering will.

Madi's usually one of the people on the front line first no matter what. For some reason she gets the thrill of being the first to try something, regardless of what it is. The normal hesitation, that healthy dose of fear that lives in most doesn't find residency in Madison. Especially when her loved ones are involved, she'll always move to take the hit for them instead. Not because she wants recognition or anything but simply because it's in her nature. However, despite her being unapologetically brave she still has moments when she gets scared. Most believe that she simply doesn't have anything she's afraid of but that isn't true. She's scared about plenty but she won't allow herself to cower and hide out of fear.

The things that Madison is motivated in she works tirelessly to achieve great feats in them. For example, Quidditch is one of her favorite pastimes. She trained relentlessly to make sure that she was able to join the Quidditch team her first year at Hogwarts. Normally that doesn't happen since the older kids know a bit better than the younger ones. But she gave it her all and presented something in her that the Captain took notice of and decided give a chance. Madi's also been told that she feels like a natural leader. Someone that doesn't have to work hard to gain influence people just trust and follow her. It's part of what makes her job easier being the Quidditch Captain. Madi just tries to better herself every chance she gets. If people follow her on her journey to self-improvement then so be it.

HISTORY

Madison is the second child of Julia and Thomas Westenberg. An 'unexpected but pleasant surprise' as she was always told by her father. Madison's childhood was pretty normal. She had loving parents that did their best to raise her the way they saw fit. However, ever since she was little she picked up on the underlying tension that was a constant between her parents. Her mother was always strict, wanting her to always do what she was told never asking questions. However, her father embraced her curiosity and her adventurous spirit. Perhaps that's why she always felt closest to him. Instead of trying to mold her into something she wasn't like her mother did, he accepted her as she was. Don't misunderstand, her mother was only doing what she thought was best, so Madi never held it against her. It's just not something that clicked well with Madi at all.

Madi never really got introduced to the prejudice her family had until it was time for her to attend Hogwarts. It was there during her first year she was presented a 'culture shock' if you will. She was surrounded by people like her and unlike her at the same time. Echoes of her mother's teachings would ruminate in her head but as she spent her first year at Hogwarts she was determined to figure things out for herself instead of solely relying on what her mother had to say. The whole blood status issue never made much since to Madison. What really made them so different from her? Besides, just because they were different why shouldn't she hang out with them? Madison decided she'd do what she wanted. At home she would do what was asked of her but when she was at school she was in charge of her own life. 'The master of her own Ship' if you will.

During Madi's third year at Hogwarts her family received the shock of a lifetime. Her father had a son, and not just any son a half blood son around Madi's age. That meant two things; her father had cheated, and he'd cheated on Madi's mother with a Muggle. To this day Madi can remember the screams of her parents and the silent treatment they shared the morning after. Her mother was disgusted and repulsed at the idea of Madi's half brother staying with them. But he didn't have anywhere to go, his mother had passed and they were his only family. Once again Madi was faced with the prejudice her family had but this time she really felt torn. Her initial hesitation towards Caleb wasn't because of his blood, but because he was a stranger she'd have to call brother from now on. It certainly took some getting used to but Madi made a point to try and make him feel comfortable. All she could think about what how hellish his life must seem. True enough watching him act out during school proved to be as such.

Caleb was having a hard time but Madison wasn't sure how to approach him about it. However, he was bringing "shame" to their family more than his birth already had and Madi knew something had to be done. Not for her family's reputation but to save Caleb rather. Her father was trying his best to be there for Caleb too but it just seemed that he was pushing everyone away. It was the first time Madi was afraid, not of her half brother, but of what he would think about her. She wanted to desperately do something to help him but she wasn't sure if she could reach him. Still, she never gave up. Whether she stayed home from family events to keep him comfortable or she defended him at school, she was relentless in pursuing her half brother because she knew that he really needed a friend.

Fast forward to present day and while both Cal and Madi have grown up she's still determined to have his back and support him in any way she can. Life at home isn't easy but Cal is strong and she knows that with just some good people surrounding him, he can finally be happy. All the while Madi tries her best to make life at home easier for everyone. It's been a stressful ride, one that's left her feeling exhausted and less and less like herself. She'd always do whatever was asked of her so her mom would be less irritable, moving to comfort her father when troubles with Cal were taking it's toll. It almost felt as if she didn't work hard enough her family would fall apart. This is something she'd kept to herself, a burden she's shouldered on her own till now. Such is the weight of a child who was forced to grow up way too fast.

FUN FACTS

  • Madi has a pet cat named Jasper. Jasper is a black and gray stripped cat with greenish-blue eyes. She's had Jasper since he was a kitten, he's been by her side for a long time. He sticks with her and no one else. In fact he's feisty around everyone else other than her. When he's around Madi he's the biggest sweetheart.
  • She has an annoying older sister named Lacey. Lacey is pretty much the favorite in the household. At least by her mother's standards. She got married without complaining when her mother picked her partner. She does what she's told and holds the same view as her mom. She's not a terrible person but Madison just grows tired of being constantly compared to her older sister. "Why can't you be more like Lacey." Things like that.
  • Currently Madi and her father have an awkward relationship. She always considered herself to be close to her dad. She looked the most like him and acted the most like him too. However, when it was revealed that he cheated and had another child Madi wasn't quite sure what to feel. She still loves her dad however there's a tiny bit of her her that wonders if he was truly unhappy with their family, maybe with her even, that made him cheat and start a new family.
  • Madi has two best friends, Melinda and Zed. They've practically grown up with each other so she considers them family now too.
  • Ever since she was young she hasn't been a fan of frilly dresses and parties. Still, to get her mother to finally shut up she started 'acting more ladylike' just to please her. The biggest changes were the fact that Madi grew out her hair that she normally kept short. Oh and she also started appearing more at her family's social gatherings rather than coming up with an excuse to ditch.

WAND

Walnut Unicorn Hair 10 inches Whippy

A Walnut wand is known for being wielded by their smart masters. For its adaptable nature and unusual versatility, it fits Hazel well. For she as well, has the characteristics of this wand. The walnut wand and it's user share a special bond. They feed on one on another. The wands performance is beautiful as well, since its likely to perform the tasks its master asks of it, once dominated of course. That makes this little wand, very dangerous. The Unicorn hair core is also a rare one. Think of a Unicorn hair core as a loyal puppy. It's strongly attached to its first owner and doesn't care whether the user is a successful witch/wizard or not. The core accepts it's master as they are.

In-depth Look

APPEARANCE

Being an American-mix, native Hawaiian and African American to be exact, Hazel has a distinct appearance that tends to set her apart from the majority. The main factor being her skin color. Hazel has bronze skin, 'sun-kissed' as her mother would love to joke. Her freckles become more prominent when exposed to the sun, a little perk about herself that she's fallen in love with. Her hair is a dark onyx in color, thick and shiny, signs of a healthy set of hair. Her locks fall down her back in waves stopping towards the middle of her back. Because her hair is thick and strong that means she has to put in more effort when taking care of her hair, otherwise it can become an unruly and tangled mess which is a problem no one wants to deal with.

When she prepares for bed she typically braids her hair in pigtails, while tying a scarf around her edges to protect those as well. By putting the hair in a protective style it prevents breakage but it also helps keep the waves that she likes to have in her hair. One of Hazel's more distinguishing features would be her bright blue colored eyes. Her mother has green eyes while her father's eyes are hazel. Both Hazel and her twin brother sport a pair of clear sapphire eyes inherited from their great grandmother on her mother's side. It's not often you see a dark skinned, dark haired person like Hazel with blue eyes, such as the ones she has. However, she takes pride in them, it's just another perk that makes her unique in her eyes.

Hazel has double lobe piercings on both ears, tragus pierced on her left, and finally her belly button is also pierced. She also has a moon tattoo on the back of her neck. It's usually hidden by her hair. She got the matching pair with her friend Ailani. They had become really close during the Spring/Summer that her family stayed in Hawaii. So close they considered themselves like sisters, not united by blood but by spirit. On the last night before she and her family would leave to move away to another state in the U.S. , the pair spent a bit of the night underneath the moon. There they promised to stay in touch no matter what happened in life. They swore to always support each other and to stay best friends and soul sisters forever. It wasn't until years later when Hazel when to visit her in L.A. that they got matching tattoos to forever remind them of the promise they made all those years ago.

Lastly Hazel has an endomorph body type meaning that her body holds onto fat more. It's one of the reasons she's so active, to make sure she stays healthy. Hazel has a pear body shape, meaning thick thighs (that save lives), wide hips, plump booty, and a small chest. When attending dance school she sometimes got bullied for how she looked but that's never something that hindered her from chasing her dreams. Her mother always told her that she might not look like everyone else but that's simply because she wasn't made to be everyone else, she was made to be just Hazel. A lesson Hazel still holds close to her heart this very day.

PERSONALITY

Ever since she was little Hazel has been pretty soft-spoken. Her mother swears she never understood how twins could be so alike yet so different at the same time. Hayden, Hazel's twin brother, was the loud and obnoxious one out of the pair. The attention seeker, the drama giver. Hazel, on the other hand, was more of the silent type. typically speaking when spoken to. (Though her dad was always quick to note that even while Hazel might be quiet she still had a way of expressing herself loudly and clearly, usually through her facial expressions.) Their parents always joke about how they could hear Hayden screaming down the street but always wondered how Hazel put up with it so quietly.

It's just in Hazel's nature to speak in soft tones but don't be confused, she isn't walking around channeling her inner ASMRist and whispering to everyone. She speaks clearly and audibly but when excited her tone typically stays the same. It means her voice usually carries a calming and gentle tone and feel about it. This also doesn't mean she never yells or gets a little loud, this is just generally what it's like for her.

Just like Hazel is known for being soft-spoken she's also known as the girl with a big heart. Hazel is always the first to jump at helping someone, despite if it's an inconvenience to herself. She doesn't do this for recognition but just because it's in her nature to want to help people. She typically likes the feeling of being needed as well, but that's just a bonus. Those that know Hazel the best are always quick to say even before they can ask Hazel's already making moves to help them if she notices something is going awry.

When asked how she can be so selfless, so kind-hearted as to give up her precious time to people who might not deserve it or didn't ask for it she usually responds with the same thing, "I just want to be a friend to people the way I want someone to be a friend to me. Pretty simple I think." On the other side of the same coin, even though Hazel is quick to help others she's not quick to admit she needs help. It's a mixture of a pride and a stubborn thing but she just doesn't think to ask for help. It's not her initial thought.

Another thing that separates Hazel from her brother is mischief and the lack thereof. Whereas Hayden would continuously find himself in sketchy situations Hazel was smart enough to recognize when things would fail and not join in. Her brother jokingly calls her a buzzkill or a goody-two-shoes but it's not that Hazel doesn't know how to have fun. It's just that Hazel is a bit more disciplined than others.

She just typically doesn't partake in things that could jeopardize her health or other people's health and safety. She's a curious little one that's for sure so she's always looking for new things to try. However the fact that her brother and other's have told her, for practically all her life, that she plays it safe too much she's now in this sort of phase where she's forcefully trying to push herself out of her comfort zone. Not wanting to be known for never taking chances. Call it her rebellious teenage years if you will.

Ever meet one of those people that are just so sweet, so pure they're too pure for this world? Yeah well, that's Hazel, she the token cinnamon roll of the bunch. She's not innocent in the sense that she's never experienced a thing in her life, nor is she innocent like she can't stand up for herself. Hazel has gone through some things and she can defend herself, very well actually. Her innocence is something more pure, and childlike. From her views on literature to her live values, her life mentality is light. She isn't childlike in an immature way it's just refreshing that she can have such a positive outlook on things when the world can be such a negative place. She's a bit of a nerd with the things she likes. She enjoys a good laugh and having fun. Her sense of humor is funny too. She's the type to make terrible puns and laugh at them herself.

Hazel tends to over analyze things. That's both probably a good thing and an annoying thing at the same time. She just has to look at every angle because she won't be satisfied until she does so. It becomes an issue once she thinks so much that she overlooks obvious details, which defeats the purpose overthinking. Usually, analyzing lets, you cover all the angles. For her, she ends up short-circuiting her brain or something because it's just a never-ending cycle repeating itself. Because of this, she misses valuable things that could be of use to her. She still hasn't learned to overcome this little set back of her's but she's working on it.

In addition to her overthinking Hazel has another bad habit of bottling up her emotions. Call it being reserved or just being silly, Hazel usually doesn't share how she's feeling often. She just lets her emotions pile up on top of one another until something causes her to snap and suddenly it's like a dam broke loose. She's aware of how bad this is and she's working on it but she just can't help it. Typically Hazel is the type of girl who has a ridiculous amount of patience but there are some things she can't overlook. What most are surprised by is the snap because when Hazel snaps she snaps hard. That's typically because she's been holding back everything until this moment so she has a surge of adrenaline and emotion coming at her and she has no choice but to release it.

HISTORY

Hazel's grown up fairly easily so she can't complain. She lives on a beautiful island, and while it might have it's dangers its a coveted place to be for a reason. She was blessed to be given such headstrong and grounded parents who genuinely loved and supported her and her brother in just about everything they did. They weren't pushovers but they weren't overly strict either.

As a child Hazel never really wanted for much, she was provided for and overall just had a happy childhood. Now growing up as a twin was a little strange. Not strange because of what they were but rather how they were treated. People would say all kinds of silly things like "If you're twins can you read each other's minds?" or "If I pinch him will she feel it?" These were silly comments that made Hazel laugh but eventually grew old for the pair. Oh and don't get her started on the whole matching phase her mother went through, she thanks God that she got over that, it was terrible.

Hazel grew up in a home where understanding culture was extremely important to her family. What made it difficult was understanding how much culture her family had. Her mom could trace back her family's ancestry back to the kānaka ʻōiwi, one of the Polynesian clans that settled in Hawaii. Hazel always knew it was important that she take pride in where she came from and hold on to some traditions and identity in her culture so that their culture could continue to live on in other generations.

Her father felt the same way about teaching his kids about African American culture. Unfortunately, a lot of cultures had been stripped away from them when slaves were taken from their homes and sold in the Americas but there were still some things that they could hold onto and appreciate. Her father made a point to keep her educated and explain the value of being knowledgeable which would probably explain the thirst and the hunger for learning that she has today. History became such a valued and important topic in their home and her parents made sure to teach their kids to appreciate what they have today because it wasn't always like this.

From the struggles of the African American people to the strangely mirrored struggles that Wizards had to face, Hazel learned it all. When she was old enough both her and her brother started showing signs of magical capabilities and their Father knew it was time to inform them on a little bit of their life that they didn't exactly know about. Both of their parents explained to them everything about what they were and why it was so imperative that kept it a secret. But they also didn't shy away from telling them the gruesome details, from the Witch Hunts to Rappaport's Law and it's repeal in 1965 and more.

As a kid, this whole concept fascinated her. It was something new not to mention she felt special in a way to have been gifted these abilities, things others didn't have. She could remember listening to and reading stories about Wizarding schools located all around the globe. The events that took part at Hogwarts grabbing her attention the most out of them all. When her father informed her brother and herself that they would be attending a Wizarding school Hazel immediately brought up how she wished to attend Hogwarts. Hazel's father was pretty surprised to learn that she wished to go there so badly. He had just assumed that she and her brother would go to the school he and their mother went, Ilvermorny.

Hazel was deadset on going to Hogwarts and so her parents went through the proper channels of getting her enrolled, her brother following suit because despite the fact that they joked about needing a break from each other he wasn't ready to move halfway across the country from her and if Hazel was honest she felt the same. Besides, it offered a new sort of adventure for the pair that was outside of their normal sphere of influence. Hazel's time at Hogwarts has been some of the best. She's made close friends and experienced plenty of achievements here. Hazel was determined to make the best of her opportunity at Hogwarts so she hit the books and she hit them hard. Hazel blew through the academic courses with high marks making it look easy. But she was always quick to let people know how much effort she put into maintaining her high grades as well.

Hayden seemed to be enjoying himself as well, in different ways than Hazel but it was good to see that he found somewhere he could belong to as well. They were separated, in different houses which turned out to be refreshing for the both of them. Hazel continued to be diligent and work her hardest and it wasn't long that she was approached to be a Prefect, an honor she wasn't quite sure should be bestowed upon her but one she humbly accepted anyway. Hazel continues to work hard while at school here, not wanting to let anyone she cares about down, but also wanting to make something of herself, find her purpose in all of this.

FUN FACTS

  • One of Hazel's favorite hobbies is dancing. She's loved the art form ever since she was little when her mom taught her how to hula dance. She loves all the forms of dance and would hope to master all of them one day. In fact, her dream is to have a successful dancing career before retiring from performance and instead owning her own dancing studio in Hawaii. Like stated earlier, Hazel wishes to learn every sort of style, so back home when she joins up with her competition team she does everything; jazz, musical theater, contemporary, ballet, hip-hop, you name it, she's doing it.
  • Hazel also enjoy's singing and playing musical instruments. She can play the Ukulele, Piano, Piccolo, and Guitar. Sometimes she writes some of her own songs, other times she finds herself covering songs that other people have done. Her family has been musically gifted so it's really not a surprise that Hazel could sing or that music, in general, is close to her heart. Which explains why she finds herself at home in Frog Choir and the Hogwarts Orchestra
  • Hazel enjoys a good musical or theatrical play every now and then, but what is extremely close to her heart is Shakespeare. She knows that he's quite an acquired taste but personally for her, so many of his works of art have wiggled their way into her heart and she doesn't know what to do but to love them. From Hamlet to A Midsummer Night's Dream, to Taming of the Shrew back to Macbeth, there are so many plays that she loves and feels drawn to. She believes each play speaks to a different point and trying to figure out what that point is, is part of the excitement for her. She has a habit of quoting things from him and other playwrights or poets as well.
  • Just like she loves Shakespeare she loves Sherlock Holmes too. By far the Sherlock Holmes series has to be some of her favorite collection of literature. She's a sucker for a good mystery and what better mystery story to read than the legendary detective himself, Sherlock Holmes? What gets her really excited is trying to read through and hypothesize what might happen before Sherlock himself realizes it. She always gets a bit of gratification when she does.
  • Hazel as a unique sense of humor, one that involves self-deprecating jokes and puns. (Her pet owl is called Hoo-Dini after all) Sometimes her jokes can be extremely cringy but that's okay because what matters is that she thinks she's funny and as long as she can laugh at her own jokes she's doing alright.
  • Hazel has 20/20 vision but she always keeps this particular pair of glasses with her that she uses every time she studies or takes a test. It's her good luck charm and probably one of her most prized possessions ever. She's always extremely careful with it, she'd be devastated if something happened to it.
  • MAGICAL ARTIFACTS: Personal Broom: Nimbus, Magical Trunk: So she can load in all sorts of things from clothes to snacks even to games and supplies.
  • SIGNATURE SPELL: Episkey | Healing Spell: For someone who can be so graceful and so elegant when dancing or doing other of her fun hobbies, she can also be extremely, and unknowingly very clumsy. And most of the time she's not even ending up hurt, it'll be others who had the unfortunate timing to be around in her klutzy stage. So she's had to learn to adapt over the years and that's why this simple healing spell has become one of her best friends. It's good for minor injuries such as fractures or non-serious broken bones, cuts, and bruises.
  • BOGGART: Being Trapped - This is where her claustrophobia comes in, typically when she feels like she has no way of escape the first panicking thought that comes to mind is the lack of air. If she can't breathe, she's going to die, and death really scares her since she doesn't know what's waiting for her on the other side. So being trapped is part of her fear that can trigger other fears to well up within her. Her boggart manifests itself in a room with no windows. To her it will seem like the room is closing in on itself when it isn't, but a room with no windows is one of her triggers that causes her claustrophobia to flare up.

PATRONUS

Dolphin | Hazel's Patronus is a dolphin. A free-spirited animal that usually hangs around with a crowd. Dolphins are playful and very social. Only the male is known for keeping to himself or a small group(2-3). Still, it's quite normal to find them with others. Hazel's patronus is a dolphin because the animal is everything she desires to be. Free, Social, Playful, etc. (However what Hazel doesn't know is that she already has the qualities she's just blind to see them herself) A dolphin knows what to do when to do it and how to get it done. It also knows it's purpose. Hazel would like to reach that understanding too when she can finally "know" herself.

Kaylee Lannister
AGE: Twenty-three | 23

GENDER: Female

OCCUPATION: Lady of the Westerlands / Active Spymaster

GENERAL APPEARANCE: Fair skinned with sharp feline-like blue eyes that usually carry an icy glare with them. Long silver hair, instead of the typical Lannister golden due to her mother being of Targaryen decent. In fact, Kaylee is one of the many different great-grandchildren to the former Dragon Queen and the King of the North. She has a beauty mark on the lower left of her chin and when she smiles or laughs you can see the slightest indication of dimples. Kaylee's body is slender yet blessed with curves in the right places. She's active so she also has a lot of muscle built up as well an endurance and a certain amount of flexibility.

SIGNIFICANT OTHER: Hagen Greyjoy

Closer Look

PERSONALITY:

At a first glance, people see Kaylee as poised, elegant, wise beyond her years, and very disciplined. All of these traits are true. Kaylee knows how to hold herself properly in public and act like a lady of dignity suiting her house name. When taking a look others might call her ‘mysterious’. Kaylee is mature and reserved, not usually opening herself up to strangers and while she can hold her own in conversations she’s often seen alone when it isn’t necessary she has a bodyguard.

Thinking back, Kaylee can probably count on one hand how many people she called friends or would consider friends now. Like stated above, she prefers to be alone as opposed to being around crowds. She finds herself most energized and creative when she’s in her quiet space. Most might perceive her as being detached or antisocial, which would explain why she lacks friends. But it isn’t that she’s antisocial she’s just a bit of an introvert. However, once you really get to peel back those layers on Kaylee you begin to see a girl much different than the one before.

A girl who’s wit just might be sharper than the blade she practices with, who is full of expressions and creative ideas. A girl who loves to learn new things and travel to new places. One who is extremely loyal if you manage to break those barriers and actually gain her trust. It’s almost as if you’re looking at a different person when you realize that the hard exterior is just that, an exterior to the public and nothing else.

HISTORY:

Kaylee Lannister, second of her name and an ever joy in the hearts of her parents, was born on a warm summer's night blessing her family with another healthy baby girl to call their own. Her older sister Ilyana being 6 years older for her was ecstatic to finally have a little sister to look after. Something she'd been begging the Seven for, for a long time. The sisters were glued together, as thick as thieves. Kaylee grew up believing she could go to her sister about anything and no matter what she'd always listen. Sure they bickered sometimes but at the end of the day they still loved each other. Ilyana was Kaylee's role model. A picture perfect example of strength, wisdom, and grace.

Since her sister was born first it was clear to Kaylee the responsibility and weight that she carried wasn't an easy one. Ever since the War and the problems her great-grandparents and even her mother and father had to face, Kaylee understood from a young age it would take hard work to get her house and family in great standing again. Despite being a child Kaylee wanted to do her part too. Not just to prove herself, but for her family. To rebuild what had been lost and restore peace and prosperity to her home and her people.

Kaylee's childhood was a bit different, but not because it couldn't be normal, rather she was the abnormal one. Instead of playing and exploring like a normal child, her days were spent studying and learning. Honing the skills she was good at and sharpening the ones she wasn't good at. Kaylee was pretty good at working hard when there was a goal in sight. Besides, she was pretty motivated since her sister was doing the same.

Kaylee developed a thirst for knowledge at a young age. Eventually having that be the driving force behind a lot of what she would do. This was a habit she carried with her as she got older as well. The older she got, however, the more she began to understand the troubles her parent's had to deal with. And it wasn't like they were suddenly expecting her to solve their problems, she knew that, but she wanted to help if she could.

So Kaylee worked harder to make sure she wouldn't hinder her parent's in any way. Of course, this ended up developing this sense of a perfectionist inside of her, that to this day is a bit of an unhealthy habit for her. If it's not done to perfection then it isn't done right. And she will work herself to death in order for it to be perfect.

One of the many struggles she had to deal with growing up and currently is dealing with public scrutiny due to what those before her of this name had done. Her family name had been diminished in the minds of most and it wasn't going to be easy to win back the people's trust. But one step at a time. They saw proof of this when the loyalty of those under her house stayed strong and they formed an even stronger unity in the Westerlands.

Now fast forward and both of her parents and sister had passed and left the duty and security of her family name and her family in general on her shoulders, Kaylee had a lot of thinking to do. Her life was no longer her own and she understood that, so every step and decision she made had to be the right one. Not just for her but the people she was to look after as well. The claim for the throne was becoming more and more prevalent and while Kay herself didn't desire the throne exactly, she knew that she could be making powerful allies and partnerships if she played her cards correctly. And she'd do whatever she had to, to make sure she could take care of her family and her people properly.

IMPORTANT EVENTS:

  • Age 12 Kaylee meets the Baratheon main family due to her sister's engagement
  • Age 13 her sister gets married and the Baratheon and Lannister bonds grow stronger

Maya Daltigar
AGE: Twenty-four | 24

GENDER: Female

OCCUPATION: Handmaiden to Kaylee Lannister / Trained Spy 'Spider' & Assassin

GENERAL APPEARANCE: Smooth pale skin with a fair complexion was what Maya was blessed with. Her cheeks color at the slightest bit of excitement or nervousness. One of her more distinguishable features would probably be her crimson hues to match the burning scarlet of her locks. One might even believe her to be descended from House Tully with how bright the hue of her hair is. Her hair is long flowing all the way down to the base of her bottom.

Her figure is also another thing that causes a few to stare. Curvaceous and voluptuous many would say that Maya has been undoubtedly blessed with the figure most women dream of. Maya shrugs it off not really caring one way or the other. However she won't deny that her appearance has helped her on many a covert operations. Despite how soft her body appears to be Maya's body is battle beaten and trained. Scars sprinkled along her body where the eyes can't see and toned muscle from hours of rigorous training have made her into what she is today.

SIGNIFICANT OTHER: n/a

Closer Look

PERSONALITY:

Maya's personality can be compared to the ocean. Some moments it's calm and serene and other moments it can be a raging tide that threatens to destroy everything in it's path, all while still carrying an eerie gracefulness to it. Maya operates just like that, often times preferring tho stick to herself and focus on what needs to be done rather than mingle with others. Maya is extremely detail oriented and prefers to handle things her own way than take orders from someone else. It's why her partnership with Kaylee is so unique because Kaylee gives her the freedom to express herself the way she needs to, and Maya appreciates that.

When Maya's comfortable she allows herself to relax and take on a more animated approach to things. She enjoys witty banter and competition as much as the next guy. A good long drink after a hard days work does the body good as well. And she doesn't want that fancy stuff they have in the palaces she want's a bitter ale to drown her sorrows. In fact, Maya enjoys drinking so much it's been known she can drink almost any man under the table. Her tolerance is high but that doesn't mean she's immune to the effects of the drunken stupor.

As much as Kaylee has tried to play dress up with Maya, Maya loaths the idea of expensive dresses and talking to noble pricks with a bone to pick for hours. It's just not her sort of style, it never was. Unless it's required for a mission she would prefer to relax, away from anything that remotely smells of politics and backstabbing. As long as she's not the one playing the game she's fine. Her place is in the shadows and she respects that. Once the ice has been broken and those around her have proven themselves to be trustworthy, Maya opens up and becomes a stalwart ally. Always honest and always supplying unshakable loyalty. When someone threatens those she cares deeply about Maya shifts to become this sinister hurricane. A bringer of death and destruction in the most spontaneous of ways. She's die for those she loves but before that she'll surely kill for them as well.

HISTORY:

Not much is known about Maya's history. However, despite not knowing much of her own story she still believes that her origin might trace back to nobility, but that's just a theory. The earliest memory Maya has is of someone calling her name. Her full name as well, which was helpful to a degree. But she can't remember why someone was calling her or for what purpose. She can only remember the panic in their voice before it all fades to black. Her second earliest memory was on a ship. A pirate ship to be exact. She'd just been slapped because she had spaced out again. Her abuser growled at her in a drunken slur declaring that she had better get her act together since she belonged to them now. She can't remember about how she got there or why she was there. It's strange how everything about her childhood is a bit of a blur. Almost as if her memories had been erased or something. Still, she couldn't remember much so all she could do was live one moment to the next.

Maya spent her days on the pirate vessel, doing as she was ordered and trying to cause as little of trouble as she could. It was the only way she could survive day to day without being beaten terribly. Days turned to weeks turned to months. Eventually the young child grew into a young woman and suddenly everything began to change around her. The way they would stare was different. With hunger and desire in their eyes they undressed her with just their gazes and Maya knew, it wouldn't be long before one of them devoured her. While on board she'd learned the ins and out of sailing and being part of a pirate crew. She also learned how to moderately defend herself just from watching them, they refused to teach her anything about that.

One day while they made anchor at a harbor in Essos, Maya made her escape. It was crowded and there was already some sort of commotion going on. However she was in a foreign land and they had the upper hand. It didn't take them long to notice she had disappeared and they dispersed to try and track her down. They almost managed to catch her too had this white haired girl not managed to save her. She crafted a distraction specifically to gather enough attention to whisk Maya away. She was quick but graceful. She took Maya's hands in hers and the two disappeared into the shadows and remained there until her pursuers gave up chase. At least for that moment. That was her first time meeting Kaylee Lannister and the first time she'd ever been so charmed by another soul.

Kaylee took her back to where she resided, explaining it would be much safer for her there. Truthfully it was. There she was introduced to the young woman's master who quickly took her in after hearing the details from her silver haired savior. However her pursuers weren't finished. They managed to track her down once more but this time she wasn't so defenseless. Yadon, Kaylee's master, stood his ground and protected Maya with little struggle. Maya can remember how enchanted she was watching his fighting movements. It was almost as if he was dancing. It didn't take him long to deal with the men that came after her. After witnessing this Maya begged both of them to let her stay and to teach her how to protect herself. Not only that but she swore to repay the debt she now owed to the both of them. They accepted of course.

Maya spent her days there training under Yadon and his many acquaintances. All things considered he practically took her under his wing as if she was his child, and she viewed him as a proper father figure as well. If it wasn't for him and Kaylee, Maya wouldn't be where she is today. He taught her all sorts of things from reading and writing to espionage and swordplay. Maya took to his teachings like a fish in water quickly eclipsing Kaylee in her own studies. However that never bothered the young noblewoman. The two girls became close friends, best friends one might say as well. Maya was able to trust Kay and Kay could rely on Maya to always have her back. Together the pair were unbeatable and unstoppable. Maya swore her loyalty to Kaylee and promised to follow her lead wherever she went. Eventually that promise took her to Westeros where she continued to serve Kay to the best of her abilities through everything. Even now.

FOOL
Eirwyn R. Scurlock

NICKNAMES

Rei: Eirwyn's middle name, and the name he prefers to be addressed by. Eirwyn was his father's name and since that man is no longer around he would rather have something of his own. Rei written as, , means 'the tinkling of jade'. Jade is often the color used to compare the shade of his eyes. Rei is also the name his mother gave him, it's one of the last things that he feels connects him to his mother.

AGE

16 | Sixteen | April 23rd | Taurus

SEX

Male

YEAR & HOUSE

6th year, Ravenclaw

BLOOD STATUS

Half-blood

WAND

Blackthorn, Dragon Heartstring, 11¾ , Unyielding

In-depth Look

APPEARANCE

Rei stands at about 6'1 and still growing. Darling says he'll be a giant before long but Rei isn't so sure of that himself. The male has a mesomorph body that's been toned and sculpted due to his love for nature and exploring it. Hiking is one of his favorite past times, or just going on long walks. Any time he can get to break away and move is time he can use to meditate and refocus his mind on the things that are important. Rei is Scottish with Asian roots as well.

His mother was a Japanese muggle that met her father while visiting the country studying abroad. His father was born and raised in Scotland, a wizard that attended Hogwarts as well. Rei's skin color is pale, extremely so that the slightest color will appear vibrant upon his skin. 'Snow White' is what his name means, which is fitting due to the lack of color he displays. That also means he's sensitive to light/and the sun. He burns easily which is why even on warm days he'll still be dressed in black usually.

Shades are a must since his eyes can be light sensitive.. His eyes are the color of jade which stands out against his pale skin and dark hair and ensemble. Rei also has tattoo's on both of his arms. Ones that can be considered the beginning's of sleeves on both. You can see them here . As for Rei's style, black makes up the majority of the colors in his wardrobe. Whether sporting a vintage look or a more modern 'street' style Rei always strives for comfort over fashion. He just happens to look good while being comfortable too.

PERSONALITY

Mysterious. Quiet. Honest. Aloof. Some of these adjectives and more have been used to describe Rei. People are always trying to 'figure him out'. Where does he fit in and how? What box can he be sorted into? Rei's only response to those that wish to define them is a simple middle finger before he goes on about his day. Fuck labels and screw the people that think they can dictate who he is to him. From a young age Rei has been independent. He had to be, otherwise he wouldn't have survived. He prefers being on his own. He doesn't do too well with crowds, and it's just easier to do his own thing.

Rei's also had his share of those looking for trouble. He's constantly sought after by those looking to prove a point or something. However he never truly gets shaken. Rei isn't afraid to get his hands dirty and fight back. He can defend himself quite well from bullies, which might explain why they keep coming back. Due to his rough upbringing Rei had to learn how to protect himself from those that wished to do him harm. He vowed he'd never let someone get away with that again and he meant it. While Rei doesn't go looking for trouble he can certainly finish it. That being said, it doesn't do much for him in the way of fixing his reputation at school. Not that he cares one way or the other.

Under all that tough exterior though there's a boy who just wants someone to understand him. Someone to appreciate him for who he is without wanting to bend and shape him into what they deem is 'acceptable'. Once truly getting to know him, when he let's down his guard, you'll gain a powerful ally. Someone who'll have you back through thick or thin. Someone extremely loyal but also has a lot of faults. His friends will have to understand that just because he often breaks away and distances himself it doesn't mean he's upset or anything. Sometimes he just needs to 'recharge' and that's his way of doing so. Rei's also terrible at opening up and explaining how he feels. Deep down he doesn't want to burden those he cares for so when things are really affecting him he's often quiet about them.

Rei is a hard worker. He doesn't like doing things multiple times when he could do it right the first time. Because he's ambitious and has big goals for himself, he takes his academics seriously. Studying and taking extensive notes. His grades are some of the best in his class simply because he doesn't want anything to hinder him from his goal. Determined, with a rebellious flair, that's Rei for you. He'll forge his own path instead of following the ones given to him. Even if his path might be more difficult he's a man of conviction.

HISTORY

  • Rei doesn't remember much about his early childhood. Only the accident. Fire surrounding him, smoke filling his lungs. Screams could be heard all around. The voice of his mother calling to him before it all fades to black. The next thing he remembers is waking up and being informed of his mother's death and his father's disappearance.
  • From that moment forward he was orphaned. He went to stay with his closet relatives, his aunts on his mother's side. His mother wasn't on good terms with her family and after living with them Rei could tell why. His aunts were abusive. Emotionally, mentally, and physically too. For years he had to stay with them because he had now here else to go. Times were dark back then as thoughts of escape constantly circled his mind.
  • At first he tried running away but they would always manage to find him. And when they did his punishment was always severe. Eventually the only way he saw to truly get out was simply death. At least that would be better than continuing living in hell.
  • At age 8 he was rescued by Darling, a kind woman with an even kinder heart. She noticed something was going on and took it upon herself to properly save him when others would turn a blind eye. Rei owes everything to Darling. He is always honest and says that she saved his life.
  • Darling, Aurora Davenport was her real name, has raised Rei since then. She doesn't like the names 'Mother' or Aunt or Grandma even. Hence why Darling has been the name that she adopted for Rei to call her. Darling is in her mid 40's now and has a sore spot for titles that make her sound 'old'.
  • While living with his abusive aunts Rei often heard whispers or rumors of what really happened that day his mother died. Still he doesn't know what's true but he vowed to find the truth which is why he aims to be an Auror when he graduates.

Bonus

FUN FACTS

  • Rei's favorite color is black and his wardrobe consists of....black
  • Likes to draw. His notes can often be found littered with doodles across canvas.
  • Rei can actually sing, really well in fact, but he keeps this to himself
  • His favorite bands are Linkin Park and Three Days Grace
  • He loves nature, specifically his favorite places are to be secluded in the woods or secluded by a body of water
  • Reading is one of his favorite past times. Nothing feels the same like finishing a well written book
  • Rei's favorite subject is potions, he happens to be rather good at it too
  • Rei is also pretty handy when it comes to spellwork and spell weaving. So much so that he's often recruited to join the Duelling clubs but he always declines.
  • Another thing he always declines is the position of Prefect. He's been sought after since his 5th year at Hogwarts but he simply isn't interested
  • One of his most cherished possessions is an old Walkman with a portable battery pack. It used to belong to his best friend before they were separated
  • MAGICAL ARTIFACTS:
  • SIGNATURE SPELL:
  • BOGGART: The corpse his mother cursing him for bringing misfortune upon her.

Ainslie's brown orbs stayed trained on her favorite beanstalk as he immediately straightened up at the sound of her voice. Tilting his head up and back to steal a glance at her, Ainslie flashed him a quizzical glance. Surely that was uncomfortable. Just what was he doing anyway? It wasn't long before a wide grin stretched across is features coaxing one of equal measure from the ginger. "How long has it been, Teddy Bear?" He began as he called her by her nickname. 'Too long' Ainslie thought to herself as Felix continued, "Holy molly you've grown since I saw you the last time"

Just as quickly as her smile had come it melted into a frown and she looked down at him. A couple of chuckles could be heard from her other housemates around the table but a quick glare in each of their directions quieted them down. Felix didn't seem bothered either way, which was to be expected. He quickly turned around and stood up to his full height, towering over the girl once more. "Oh no. Never mind", he chuckled, patting her head. "As tiny as I left you. Perfect" Ainslie's eye twitched as a forced grin played on her features. "Oi, you trying to fight?" She hissed at him. A twinge of jealous washed over her as it usually did any time height was brought into the equation.

Felix once again, a master at dodging conflict, pushed forward. Ignoring Ainslie's little threats, "I wasn't too long after all. It was awesome and all but, glad to be back however!" Fee blabbered briefly, scratching the back of his neck. "Because now I can do this again!" Ainslie didn't have long to question what he could be referring to before Fee grabbed her wrist and pulled her in close to him. Almost instantly the ginger hobbit's features became beet red, all the way to the tips of her ears. "Oh I've missed you so, so MUCH!" Felix loudly exclaimed as he hugged her tightly before kissing the top of her head. "B-B-Butler release me right now!" She hissed at him. What she had feared was coming to pass. Felix truly was too predictable.

"I've missed you too now let go.." Ainslie muttered as she tried to wiggle from his grasp. Whispers at their table started to pick up once more which only caused the red-head to become even more flushed. "Aw how cute," one of the students spoke up from the table to which Ainslie snapped her neck to glare at them instantly "Stuff it Jeffery unless you'd like a formal introduction of my boot to your face!" she growled. This only caused others at the table to erupt in laughter which only further embarrassed the ginger hobbit. "Keep it up and I'll fight all of 'ya" Ainslie hissed while still being trapped in Felix's arms.

In-depth Look

APPEARANCE

Skin as pale as the moon and hair as dark as the sky that blankets the night, Shiori stands out among the crowd, and not just because she looks otherworldly. Shiori stands at 5'2'' tall but prides herself that she's still a growing girl. Shiori has long raven black hair that falls down to her butt. The ends of her hair are dyed orange as a bright source of color for her 'bright' personality. Shiori's hair is naturally wavy so taking care of it requires lots of dedication, time, and effort, but she doesn't mind. Her eyes are a bright shade of pink, an unusual eye color but considering what she is it's not too much of a stretch that her eye colors would be different too.

Shiori has a pretty normal body type. Like mentioned earlier she's still growing so she's not as curvaceous as some but she does have some. Due to the values her foster father instilled into her she's a pretty active member of society. She likes to stay healthy and go for long walks or hikes. Her favorite color is pink...or maybe yellow? Probably both! She wears comfortable clothes and she really likes dresses and sweaters. She enjoys cooking and eating food. Her favorite snack being breads and cupcakes.

PERSONALITY

Shiori is a kind hearted soul, one that doesn't rejoice in other's suffering. In fact, Shiori is the type of person to whatever is possible to help someone in need. Even if that meant sacrificing her own needs first. She's also a firm believer of the 'golden rule'. Treat others how you would wish to be treated. Love others like she loves herself. (She struggles with that last part. Mostly because she has no problem loving other's it's the loving herself part that trips her up.)

Overall Shiori is a pretty happy girl, at least she tries to be. Sure there's plenty of things that have happened to her or that go on in the world that could make her want to give up but she realizes now there are a lot of things that are worth fighting for. That's how she's always been though, if it's for someone else she can muster up the courage to move mountains or risk her life. With that in mind, when it involves her loved ones she becomes frighteningly protective. If someone threatens or hurts them they risk pushing sweet Shiori to the brink.

It wouldn't be the first time she's lost her cool at her loved one's expense, however, whenever that happens there is always a heavy price to pay. Her calm and happy demeanor melts and a deep seated rage takes over her whole being. It's almost as if she becomes a different person when she loses it. So much so she lives in fear of the day someone might push her too far again.

Shiori is pretty honest, not really seeing a reason to lie or beat around the bush. She unashamedly admits her feelings which could embarrass those around her but values making her intentions clear to those she interacts with. What Shiori makes up for her lack of execution in certain areas is her diligence. She's quite the stubborn one when she wants to be. No matter if it takes her many tries she won't give up until she 'wins', it's part of her charm.

HISTORY

  • Was born in Tokyo, Japan
  • Had a mother, father, and two younger siblings (twin girls)
  • Doesn't recall anything of her life prior to age 6 (when the *incident* happened)
  • The Incident: Shiori's family was targeted by a group of wizards/witches and vampires that didn't agree with what they were. (Magical vampires) Discrimination wasn't unheard of however, this particular time was way different than anything the family had encountered before. It would seem like they were truly being targeted by a hate group who had no other intention than being malicious. At this time Shiori was still young, learning what it meant to live life, let alone what it meant to be a vampire (with powers). Under the intense stress of watching her family members get hurt Shiori snapped. They were in a secluded town, set apart from the muggles but the site of the area was left in shambles. Shiori doesn't remember what happened only that when she came too the amount of carnage she saw around her scared the living daylights out of her. Buildings were on fire, moans and groans could be heard all around her, and blood. Blood was everywhere. On the ground, the walls, dripping from lifeless bodies, and covering her. Shiori's family didn't survive the incident and it was all she could do to crawl away before her pursuers took advantage of her in her weak state.
  • Shiori kept going until she couldn't anymore. She collapsed in the snow and fainted due to using too much energy. When she came too several days later she was rabid with thirst. She could help herself as she felt a savage burning deep in her throat. She was wild as she prowled the lands searching for food. She left a trail of drained animal carcasses as she tried to drink her fill, but nothing was enough.
  • She was later found by a specialized UK Ministry task force that had been searching for her. However the state they found her in was not one in which they could apprehend her without harm surely incoming. Luckily Virgil Hildegard was present and was able to 'peacefully' handle the situation.
  • The UK Ministry took her into their custody and once again Shiori was unconscious for a numerous amount of days. When she came too once again she was no longer in Japan. She was in a foreign land surrounded by foreign people she didn't understand. To say she was scared was an understatement. Luckily Virgil was around and he was her only source of comfort at this time.
  • He was around for a while but unfortunately had to leave because he had business to attend to. Shiori could remember being terrified once he left. He was the only one that understood her. She had good reason to be afraid as well, since after he left her life was increasingly more difficult.
  • Those in charge treated her with hatred and malice despite her never doing a thing to her. They starved her fun and beating her was one of their favorite past times. They constantly made fun of her cries and of course there were those in those white lab coats. They scared her the most since she was always left in lots of pain after a visit from them.
  • She wasn't sure how long it had been since she saw Virgil but she could remember thinking she might never see him again. When he did manage to show up again the amount of joy that washed over her was immeasurable. Virgil didn't ask many questions all she knew was that, the day he showed up again was the last day she spent in her cell.
  • From that day forward she spent almost every day with Virgil, he taught her everything she knows today, provided for her and loved on her, as well as his family. Which is why over time she began to see Virgil as a father, not being ashamed to address him as such to his face and in public.
  • After studying hard Virgil now deems she's ready to go to school so she's been enrolled into classes at Hogwarts.

Bonus

FUN FACTS

  • Shiori loves singing and playing music. She knows how to play the violin and the harp.
  • Since she loves to eat she's gotten pretty good at preparing food. Baking sweets being a specialty of hers. Her famous red velvet cupcakes are to 'die' for.
  • Shiori struggles in school academics, (It's hard for her to keep her focus up) learning a bit more slowly than most. However if the professors work with her and take their time they'll learn that she really is a bright kid, she just doesn't learn the same way as others.
  • She loves exercising, taking long walks or hikes, or even going for a swim
  • Has the bad habit of acting on her impulses. Like biting people even when she shouldn't. (She has a list of do's and don't's that Virgil taught her on ever since she was little. Sometimes she needs to revisit that list to remind herself. Even though she still gets in trouble despite trying her best) 'Sometimes they smell just too good! I don't mean any harm, I swear!'
  • Vampire Power: Hallucikinesis - In addition to the typical vampire things; enhanced strength, senses, and healing factor, Shiori has a special ability to manipulate illusions. With concentration Shiori can influence the mind of those around her, to see things that aren't there or experience things that haven't happened. When she's emotionally unstable this power can go out of control, reaching multiple targets and causing immense pain to several as well as herself. The things her targets see during this time could vary depending on the mental state they currently are in. When she doesn't have control it seems that her power takes over like it has a mind of it's own. It's extremely taxing on her mentally and physically when she let's go of the reigns on her power. She could even unintentionally harm friendly's if she's not careful.
  • Shiori was taught to dance by Virgil who is rather gifted at the art. Some of her favorite memories are the nights she spent twirling around the room with Virgil when she was younger, standing on his feet because she was too small and too clumsy not to.
  • Boggart: [Coming Soon]

Ainslie's brown orbs never left from their intended target, Caleb. She waited till he would give her an answer to her question. "Let's...take a step back here," Felix suggested calmly. "It's a long way from a stunt to a crime, no?" For once Ainslie's sharp gaze snapped from Caleb to the beanpole instead.

"Sure she's seemingly capable of it, and sure, she loves bludgeoning him to death, but burning his face off? That's...," Ainslie's frown deepened as Felix continued, "Perhaps I don't wanna think that far." By the time he finished Ainslie's face had managed to curl up in disgust. Was he suggesting that the same girl that had the balls to cast a forbidden spell in the middle of a simple class practicum, would incapable of malice?

Since when had he become Carrow's best fucking friend? Defending her in her absence like some shining knight? Maybe it was Ainslie's upbringing but believing the best in people without reason just wasn't her sort of thing, especially when her friend's safety and well-being was at stake. The ginger felt the anger boiling in the pit of her stomach, rolling off her small body in waves. Unfortunately for her she had no outlet.

She couldn't condemn Carrow without proof, though every bone in her body screamed her best friend's marred face was proof enough. Maybe she hated the girl, or perhaps she was taking her frustrations out on her, it didn't matter to Ainslie. Whenever her friends were hurt the overwhelming rage she felt, if left unchecked, would always ultimately end up getting her in trouble.

With a huff, the ginger shoved her hands in her pocket and turned her back on the boys. Instead of doing something she'd regret she settled for pacing around the shop instead. "Her stunt made me learn how to counter Fiendfyre in my free time. I never thought I would actually need it this summer."

Ainslie had a lot of questions. Like how the girl knew how to counter that thing anyway and how Caleb learned it so quickly but now was not the time for questions or jokes. So she decided to rest her case, even though she wasn't happy about any of this, but it wasn't about her.

As Caleb began to explain Ainslie slowed her pace to a halt and really tried to listen. The more he continued the more Ainslie's anger died down bit by bit, until it was a bit more manageable. The ginger hobbit sighed softly as she shook her head. Finally hearing the truth instead of what was written in the papers, things started to make sense.

However, it only proved that situation was indeed a messy one, as if that wasn't obvious to begin with. And their poor, kind hearted friend got caught up in the midst of it. It was a terrible situation to be in that was for sure, but Cal really had saved a life. How far he had come from that angry and hurt kid she first met years ago.

"I didn't think it through. I was able to keep the fire at bay long enough to get her to grab on me. It swung at me good just as we were about to jump...." Out of the corner of her eye she caught Felix move immediately to Caleb's side. Looking at him now he really did seem small and frail. Like if the slightest wind blew in his direction he'd fade away or break.

Ainslie's heart went out to him. Once again she realized how much better Felix was at this sort of thing. No matter how much her heart yearned to comfort Caleb, to protect him, she couldn't. She always stumbled with her words till she eventually froze and gave up all together. Honestly she was a terrible friend.

Felix, on the other hand, well, it was almost like he was meant for this. Once again Ainslie withdrew her gaze from the two. She was still angry, extremely so. She was so angry for her friend that he had to go through something like this, something no one should ever have to go through. Angry that fucked up journalist took advantaged of a scared to death kid to get a paycheck.

But most of all she was pissed off at the ones responsible for this. If wishes truly did come true she wished for nothing more that to shove her fist down the throat of whoever was responsible for this. Walking a bit away from the pair, the hobbit punched the wall near her out of frustration before crouching down to a squat holding the now red knuckles that were screaming in pain at her.

"That's okay, mate," Felix spoke calmly, "Breathe. You're okay. You did the right thing. I would have done the same, except I would most likely lose my head in the process," Felix chuckled, and Ainslie couldn't help but feel her heart ache in the process. She didn't want either of them to be hurt. She wouldn't have even wished this situation on her worst enemy. "Getting out of that bloody hell alive and saving a life in the process... I am so proud of you, Cal,"

"We both are. And we are hella proud to have you as our mate. What you did is amazing! And who cares what all the other tools will say? We know you, and we know how incredibly brave that was. You did not think because you knew what needs to be done. Not because you were an eejit. Don't forget that," Felix proceed to reassure him with a small jest. "And true, your life has changed forever. You survived a bloody fiendfyre! No fecker's gonna mess with you."

"If they do you can always send them my way. I'll introduce them to my fists, free of charge." Ainslie said after a brief moment of collecting herself. She did her best to press her feelings down so she could go back to helping her friend, or trying to at least. She turned to face them one more flashing them a small smirk and hiding her injured hand behind her back.

"You were really brave Cal. You saved a life, not many people can say that. You're a hero and you're alive. I won't allow anyone to take those things from you, not even yourself." the ginger said as she slowly made her way closer to the group once more, a slight blush on her cheeks. in the few moments she had been here she had vocalized her sentimental feelings way more than usual, and it was embarrassing.

Kaylee Lannister, Outfit, Stark Estate, New King's Landing

Kaylee stood outside the Stark Estate for a moment, taking time to enjoy how the morning breeze felt on her skin. Despite managing to get a little sleep Kaylee was still exhausted. But she was sure she wouldn't really be able to get any rest until this was all over. Hagen and Kay had an early start this morning since she needed to head back to her estate to change into proper clothes for this meeting.

Once again she was oddly quiet this morning, much like how she was on the ride back to the Black Mermaid. A clear sign of stress if anyone knew the girl well enough. Kaylee was also saving energy for this meeting, which was sure to be long and taxing. With everything going on though, no one could really blame her for not being fully herself for once. Once she arrived back at her estate Bradyn, the captain of her guard, informed her that nothing more happened in her absence.

She was thankful for that at least. It was one piece of good news which she could certainly appreciate since all she really had been focusing on was the bad. Maya and Hawke were still a no show and Kaylee couldn't help but assume the worst because of that. Pinching the sleeve of her dress she sighed as the wind blew her her hair. Stressing over things that weren't in her control was something usual for her to do, but she knew it would ultimately get her nowhere.

Shifting the weight between her legs she stared up at the grey early morning sky. She would just have to trust they would both make it back to her safely. The alternative would render her useless for this meeting and she couldn't afford to let how she was feeling to carry over into her work. "Get a grip Lannister. You've got work to do." she mumbled to herself as released another heavy sigh. Closing her eyes she stood up straight, brushing her dress off before inhaling deeply. She could do this, one step at a time.

****

Kaylee had left Hagen's side first, earlier on. She didn't want to cause more of a scene than the two of them did yesterday at the dinner. She had suggested they enter the meeting separately, believing it would be the best option to keep whispers to a minimum at least. Talk was inevitable, but how much talk and what that topic was could definitely be controlled. After hesitating for a moment at the door she finally made her way into the room once she felt she could successfully pass as her 'usual' put-together-self.

She made her way to an empty seat, taking the time to smile and greet a few others before doing so. As the rest of the lords and ladies did the same she managed to sneak a glance at the host of this meeting who seemed a little preoccupied with looking out the window. Kaylee wondered what could be on her mind. Perhaps it was what was on everyone's mind, the meeting and what would come of it?

She made her way to an empty seat, taking the time to smile and greet a few others before doing so. As the rest of the lords and ladies did the same she managed to sneak a glance at the host of this meeting who seemed a little preoccupied with looking out the window. Kaylee wondered what could be on her mind. Perhaps it was what was on everyone's mind, the meeting and what would come of it?
