A long long time ago, on a dead iteration of another RP board, I saw this person with a writing style that I absolutely had to RP with in a dead thread. So I hunted them down. Necro'd the thing and said "Open the RP. Stop having it be dead." And the roleplay was no longer dead.

I still roleplay with them now~

I wish I had tons more time to roleplay because there are so many wonderful writers here and I'd love to be able to plot and write with so many more than I actually manage. One day I'll actually manage to get a roleplay going with @Pahn and @Greenie and, you, Nemofeesh. And those are just the people that I've made vague plans with. So many others too.

My biggest rp crush was on another site. Their username is Briza and we're friends to this day and it's great. She's such a great writer and such a sweet person T^T it took so long to work on the courage to talk to her with her mini novella posts and a writing style that sucks you into that world. She's really something I'll tell you that.

As for on iwaku my two biggest rp crushes I, thankfully, get to rp with. @Opal and @ObsidianNyx are certainly my top two. Nyx has writing that just, I have no words for. They have this way of bringing their characters to life that blows my mind. I could sit and read about their chars all day. And Opal is my mushroom prince okay. 10/10 best friend here and the emotion in his writing makes me tear up sometimes.

I've really been blessed guys.
They're all such amazing writers and I really do wish them the best in all of their rps and searches. <3 you guys are just great T^T <3

Time to share my friend and roleplay crushes. :'}

There are a lot of you. I wish I was a little closer/friendlier with most of the (former) staff members. Anyone that can chat animatedly with each other makes me wish I was their friend as well, because I just like friends, but I don't like socialising (beat that logic). Luckily people are awesome and make that effort for awkward lil' me (//stares at Kittiston, Greens...). DM me. I love getting DM's

Then there are a lot that I wish I could rp with, but haven't been able to either because I'm tied, or because I think they are tied, or because they roleplay genres that I don't have interest in (or i haven't found any), but damn do I like their style.

I don't think I have any friend crushes at this point ^_^ Anyone I would want to be in contact with, even if it's just to banter with occasionally, I have contact with, whether it's in private or in a public forum.

Roleplay crushes! I have plenty, including our trio of admins! I have been lucky enough to write with Kitti and Jorick before though so that's cool! Turtle's on my RP crush list XD I think pretty much everyone else I wanted to roleplay with I am writing with, either in a 1x1 or a group! I have to admit, I've been pretty lucky.

More broadly speaking, I'm a weird introvert that doesn't actually initiate social contact most of the time, and basically never unless I'm already comfortable with talking to that person one on one. I barely message those ones first anyway, but chat away with them no problem whenever they come and do extrovert things at me. Pahn can attest to this, for example.

Basically what this means is there are a bunch of people I'd like to be more friendly with but I'm a dork and don't do anything about it except poke them in group chats sometimes. A lot of the people who were staff pre-audit and hung out in staff chat fall into this category, like Nemo (the opening line wasn't just a joke 8D), Greenie, firejay, Shizuochan, Turtle, rissa, and more.

RP crushes are more a matter of not having the time to do things with everyone I'd like to play with, because I am shameless about prodding people in group areas to see if they're interested. Also messaging them one on one isn't a big issue because I'm fine with messaging people when I have something to actually discuss, because that's not random socializing that make my inner introvert screech. The list of people I'd go poke to see if they want to do a roleplay thing if I had time for more is similar to the above friend list thing, though most of them I've already done group stuff with before so it's not quite a matter of being like "omg I wanna roleplay with them but I never have," more like wanting to kidnap them for 1x1 things.

I don't... think I have any AWWKward unfulfilled friend crushes, though when I hear the words "friend crush" I just think of the friends I outrageously cuddle with or even just want to be closer to, like you, Wa! And Joan and Eru and Greenie and Applo and Shizuochan and Pahn and rissa and Marygold and Turtle and Kitti and Jorick and Moody and Diany and YOU ALL CAN GUESS FOR YOURSELVES WHICH ONE YOU ARE. Wow. I like a lot more people than I thought. Gross. (There are a couple people I haven't mentioned who I do quite like, but I can't remember things and I'm not including people I feel pretty close to who I don't outrageously cuddle with, so don't >:[ at me if your name isn't listed.)

As for RP crushes, I'm just thinking of all the people whose mad skills I'm jealous of D: (which isn't even all that far off from the list above). For the most part anyone I wanted to write with, I've written with in some context, except for the people I want to write with that I have simply had no ideas to RP with. I kind of need to have some idea come to me to start an RP with someone...
