Intro

What's the point of being a Superhero in this age? You stop crimes and save the day, but at what cost. What do you do when your too late and someone dies, but the criminal is still there? You know they did it, there's blood on their hands...what do you do? You kill them, it's that simple. Superheroes never really make a difference nowadays, more then half of the animals you deal with are insane and avoid justice because of it. Or if they're proven sane they'll escape the prison within the month of there incarceration. Superheroes have proven to be ineffective in the long run. The old ways aren't working anymore, someone needs to show this kind of behavior is unacceptable...The Crusaders will exterminate the infestation that is rotting away at society. You will be vilified by many like the ones you face, but rest assure, you are the hero the world needs.

The Crusaders are in a tough spot since their conception 1 year ago. They are as hated as they are loved. The people seem to love them while the media calls them animals or thugs playing hero. They are hated in Superhero community, even some Heroes are willing to stand in their way.


Base​

The Crusaders are named after their ship, Crusader. It resides between dimensions above the earth and can go anywhere in the galaxy if needed. If a hero wants to live aboard the ship, they could do so. The Ship has a gym, garden, food stockpile, Kitchen, bathrooms and more. You only need to leave Crusader when duty calls or you need to restock. A good hideout when people know your real identity and hate the face you're killing now. Few know of this mysterious ship's existence and those who do are locked out.

Identity Badge: A silver badge Behemoth made so others could access the ship. It allows them to Travel anywhere on earth they know of.

Flight - He can fly beyond Mach 10, ten times the speed of sound.

Superspeed - Not as fast as the top speedster, but still incredibly fast. His top speed is estimated to be Mach 1, the speed of sound.

Super Strength - His strength is superior to Behemoth's without question. He can lift an entire cruise ship and dismantled a battleship in 2 minutes flat. He tends to always hold back. For your safety of course.

Invulnerability - He may be more durable than Behemoth's dermal armor, but even he isn't sure of that. All you need to know his skin is tough enough to withstand bombardment from ballistic missiles.

Enhance Senses - All 5 senses are superhuman. He can hear a child's cry for help from miles away. smell gases that are supposed to be scentless. His vision is so acute he can see an insect in 100 miles away.

Zenith, most formidable being on the planet Earth. He is the man of the future, panicle of human evolution. Sent back in time by his parents to avoid the scorching of earth from nuclear war. He is meant to prevent such a grim fate and save the world. That's his story anyway. An honorable man with a strong moral code.

Powers:

Telekinesis - She can influence the physical world with just her mind. Her range is about 15 feet, but within it, she is formidable, to say the least. She usually uses it to simulate superstrength, invulnerability, and flight. Using Telekinesis she is on pare, but not stronger than Behemoth.

Pyrokinesis - Can generate and control fire. She can generate from her body or in close proximity to her. If she wishes, she can make some burst into flames. She is least likely to use this power.

Emotion Manipulation - She can make someone feel what she wants them to feel. She can calm you or send you into a violent rage in she so wishes. Playing with her opponent's emotions is her preferred ways of fighting, but that isn't always enough.

Empathic - Can pick up on the emotions of others and uses it to detect someone state of mind and pick up on misdirection and blatant lies.

Description:
American Dream, your grandparent's Superhero. Imbued with the Flames of Liberty, America's Will. Patriotism is said to be her direct power source. It is worth mentioning, not even greatest magic users in the world have heard of the Flames of Liberty. Like Zenith, she has shown a strong moral code, even going out of her way to try and rehabilitate harden criminals and serial killers. She has her hands in humanitarian groups, all the way from orphanages to cancer research.

Super-scientist - Has a Ph.D. level of knowledge in most forms to sciences and engineering.

Blackbird Suit - A advance technological suit. This suit allows enhanced strength and speed due to an exoskeleton. Synthetic superstructure that allows for enhancing durability. Rebreather that recycles outside contaminated air into breathable air. Cowl allows for multiple forms of vision such as Ultraviolet, X-Ray, Telescopic vision. His suit is protective against most forms of radiation, but not entirely. Gravity manipulators that allow him to glide in the air and jump higher feats than the average human. Magnetic boots that allow him to walk up walls.

Description:
A man who started from humble beginnings. Once an African street urchin born in the country of Kokani, he rose to power and was known as a dangerous warlord bent on ruling his country. One day he came in contact with a downed spaceship and found a suit of armor that granting him immense power. With it, he took over Kokani within a year and has remained in control of it for three decades. Ruthless and without fear, a man who is driven by his own lust for power. He's old, over 50 years old by most reports. He is an oppressive ruler who demands respect from all, even Gods.

His country is closed borders, no entre or leaving without his say. He has used the alien tech to improve the life of his people. Kokani is anti-democracy and for all its advancements, it still maintains a low human right index score. Speak out and you're asking for death or severe punishment. Kokani has expanded in Ultimatum's first 20 years, nearly doubling in size. He hates being called a warlord, he prefers dictator, despot or Almighty Leader.

Genius Intellect - He's smarter than you. He doesn't hold it over your head and would rather not tell you. He hides it by being goofy and a jokester, but it all a mask in the end. Lifetimes of experience add to this man's intellect.

Immortality - Islamic golden age, that when he was a young man. 1200 years Hakim has walked the earth, and every place he's been, there's been blood and misery. His body was transformed by the "Fountain of Youth" and he hasn't aged since then.

Mysticism - Master of many magical techniques and knowledge of occult artifacts. A millennium of studying magic has man him a deadly threat to many magical users. Hakim can command the Elements, summon demons, create Illusions, curses etc. Not all-powerful, certain spells require condition and sacrifices. Not all magic is free, barely any magic is free as it cost energy.

Swordsmanship - Uses an enchanted cutlass that he's possessed for a millennium. As long he lives this sword shall never break or dull. His skill with it is simply superior, he is rarely matched. With this sword, anything can be cut and I do mean anything.

Physical Threats: He's at peak human condition, but if say, American Dream punched him in the face as hard as possible. He's going down and losing his head in the process. He must be prepared for the threat if wishes to survive it.

Super Wealthy - He is a billionaire and with his money, he's able to fun a myriad of projects with, from good to bad.

Kauffman Enterprise - The company that's been in his family for two generations. Started by his grandfather, he has lead Kauffman since as CEO since 18 years old, after the death of his parents in a car crash. It is considered a megacorporation.

Deception: Arlic is such a good liar that he believes his own lies, or at least his body does. reading his body language or giving polygraph is a waste of time. You should never trust him, but even when he's honest your left question what he said.

Martial Artist: Got beat up at a party when he was 15 and thrown in the pool. Since then, he's trained in 10 different martial arts and has become dangerous hand to hand combatant. He is a black belt in all the form he learned and can go toe to toe with the best.

Monster Physiology*: Via the Monster Pill, Arlic can become what he called The Monster. A two-horned werewolf with superstrength, speed, rapid healing factor, superior senses and a bloodlust greater than the most prolific serial killers. On his back are sharp quills that he can launch from a distance and capable of piercing sheets of steel.

Rich ain't the word to describe Arlic Kauffman, he's so wealthy it makes your head spin. You think with all that money, he could buy himself some good. He just as evil any supervillain, and is the richest man in Geld Geld and Triumvirate. He controls the criminal organization he inherited from his family. When his mom and dad died in a car crash that he totally didn't cause, he took control of Kauffman Enterprise.

His megacorporation has its hands in weapons, pharmaceuticals, commercial entertainment, news, etc. This allows the young Billionaire to almost he wants and invests in new projects on a whim. He can congress if he puts enough money or word in. Tarnish his image even slightly, you're dead within 48 hours.

Personality:
A headstrong individual who is committed to his cause. He's brave and arrogant, use to years of being unharmed by the average Villain. He's blunt with his words and refuses to mince them. While demanding, Doug tries to remain fair to his team and get their opinion on situations. He hates being disrespected and he can only tolerate so much of it. Obviously, he hates criminals yet believes not all are deserving of death. Petty criminals aren't deserving of death, only the truly corrupt.

History:


Douglass was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey. His family was poor, barely able to hold on to their family home. He grew up around gang violence, prostitution, drugs, and death. He knew from the earliest age that what he saw around him was wrong, but never knew how to fix it. All his family ever told him to do was "Stay in school" and "Have faith in the Lord", things that never help him improve his neighborhood. He wanted to change it, to be its Hero.

What really helped Douglass was being struck by some stray bullets at 16. Or maybe it was a case of mistaken identity, that he never knew. The bullets hit him in his chest and left him bleeding out. Things went black and Douglass awoke in the hospital where he found he was receiving a blood transfusion tainted O- blood. This came after the emergency surgery that removed the bullets from his chest.

Once recovered, Douglass noticed a slow change in his body. He noticed every day he seemed stronger, quicker, sharper. He could now run, run, and run as long as he wanted and jump farther than ever before. Douglass couldn't be sure how he got these powers and didn't give a damn. With his new gifts, he became a nameless vigilante who walked the streets at night beating criminals blue. He soon discovered another power, to cover his skin in a metallic armor that protected from bullets and more. Crime dropped thanks to him, but if he let up to long, they were back at it like nothing ever happened.

Later on, Douglass took on the name of Behemoth and joined his first team known as the Justiciars. They choose him for two reasons, his tenacity, and courage. When one of their members was defeat, Behemoth continued the fight for them and won. His current suit is a gift from them and all his experience was gain from them. He spent an entire decade on that team, they were present at his wedding, the for the birth of his daughter, even when he was given the 'key' to The Crusader after preventing an alien civil war. They were there for it all, except once.

He was involved in a battle with a Villain known as Master Seismic. Master Seismic killed Behemoth's family and in a rage, Behemoth snapped his neck. The Justiciars came right after and were able to save Behemoth from death. After this battle Behemoth was different. Once realizing killing these monster was so easy, he might as well keep it going. The Justiciars soon got in his way and he willingly left the team.

Behemoth forms his own team shortly after, all Heroes who agreed on with his stance on crime.






Powers:

Super Strength -Strong enough to lift large boulders, juggle cars, and tear steel apart. The ground will shake at the sheer might behind his stomps. Using his strength he can propel himself through the air. He can travel 500 feet in a single bound.

Super Endurance - His Endurance is astonishing. Once trapped on a gladiator planet, Behemoth was forced to fight none stop for 48 hours until help arrived. Even after his dermal armor had failed him, Behemoth kept fighting. This extends to stamina, sleep, mind and physical body.​


Dermal Armor - An organic blackish-gray armor that covers Behemoths skin. Makes him invulnerable to bullets, explosives, poisons and resistant to radiations, thermal energy, etc. He's not unstoppable, but he won't tell you that. His dermal armor can only take so much kinetic damage before shutting down. His armor's greatest weakness is it's highly conductive with electricity. This causes his armor to shut down after prolonged exposure. He has a weakness anything that can har him internally, such a sound. Magic also has a hold on Behemoth as well.

Wormhole Belt - Behemoth's key to the Crusader. A belt directly connected to the ship that allows him to open up wormholes all over the earth. All Crusader how access to this wormhole feature via their Badges.

Suit: His suit is able to regenerate from damage, self-repairing kevlar fabric. A must for anyone who wants to save money on costumes that is.

Skills:
Experienced Brawler - Behemoth has been on the scene for awhile. Over the years he's become a proficient hand to hand combatant. Even without special training, besides from boxing, he a formidable fighter even without super strength.

Information Network - Behemoth still has connections with his snitches, government allies, and people still in the superhero community. Some of these people support Behemoth and his cause. Few will say it openly, but he still has friends on the other side.



What made them cross the line?:
Being a father and married was the happiest thing for Douglass and when it was ripped away he was lost. Simon Crane, Master Seismic, appeared on Douglass doorstep one day. Simon was a monster, a psychopathic Mutate with the power to create seismic waves through the air. He brought Behemoth home down on him and his family, killing both his wife and daughter. Master Seismic only knew because Behemoth identity was leaked and killing a hero was too good to pass up.

After rising from the rubble and looking frantically for his family, he found their dead bodies and the rest was nearly a blur. He remembers armoring up and fighting Master Seismic. No matter what Simon threw at Behemoth, he never stopped getting up and coming back, not until Behemoth got his hands around his throat and snapped it. He did it without thinking, it came so easy to him.

Affiliations:
The Justiciars - Behemoth resents the Justiciars as they are ineffective and refuse to take the next logical step. Relationships with individual members range from good to terrible. Two people in the group he can't possibly stand are American Dream and Zenith.

Kate is a rather serious person who has a hard time opening up to others, even those who have been in her life for a significant amount of time. The emotional distance that she prefers to keep around herself is nothing personal, but she does believe that it makes her life easier. Despite her coldness, Kate knows what it means to be part of a team, and is a loyal to the people around her; actions speak louder than words.

History:
The unwanted daughter of a prostitute and a cruel John, Kate was surrendered to the state just a few months after she was born. Her formative years were spent in and out of foster care, shuffled between families that either didn't really want her, or lacked the ability to properly care for her. At fourteen, with only half the education of a regular kid, Kate ran away from her last foster home and took shelter in the streets of Los Angeles, California. Being homeless was terrifying at first, especially as her powers began to develop, and Kate saw and experienced many things that no person should have ever been subjected to.

At fifteen, after a year of barely surviving on the streets, Kate met Ginger, the leader of a small time biker gang dubbed The Blight, during an attempt to steal from her purse. Instead of making her dig her own grave--Ginger's words--the woman took her into the ranks and gave Kate the first and only home that she had ever known. From then on, Kate felt like she had a family, and she had no problems traveling around Southern California and Mexico with The Blight, stealing, selling drugs and doing anything else to get by.

After a little more than five years with The Blight, encountering cartels, hostile mutates and having to disappear from the cops more than a few times, Kate made the decision to leave the gang behind. Not everyone understood her desire for peace and stability, least of all Ginger, but Kate maintained that there were no hard feelings on her end, even as she left California for greener pastures.

New Jersey was more grey than green, but Kate felt good about the move and even managed to get a regular job at a bar where she earned honest money. Life was good for the next several years and at twenty-three, there was a knock on Kate's door that changed her life forever. Jessica, Kate's younger half-sister, had managed to track her down with very little information and needing a place to stay, Kate didn't hesitate to welcome Jessica into her home. It was a decision that Kate would come to regret when Jessica was murdered just six months later, a stray bullet that closed a door just as quickly as it had been opened.

There were rumors after Kate found the man responsible, how her fingers had slipped into his chest like a ghost, how she held his heart in her hand as the life left his eyes. After that, it turned out that a lot of people in the city needed or wanted some kind of justice--they just didn't know how to go about it, so Kate did it for them. It caught the attention of the wrong people, at first, until she was approached by Behemoth and Havoc to become a founding member of the Crusaders.

Powers:
Intangibility - The ability to pass through solid matter and objects by passing her atoms through the spaces between the atoms of the objects through which she is moving. This allows her to phase through just about anything as long as she can hold her breath. Physical fights with Kate quickly become a headache for her opponent because she is extremely difficult to catch.

Camouflage - Kate's phasing ability also allows her to remain hidden from sight within an object or structure for short amounts of time. This is useful when she needs to hide to avoid danger, or when a situation requires more stealth.

Telepathic Resistance - When phased, Kate's thoughts are highly erratic and nearly unreadable, allowing her to hide herself from telepaths and utilize the element of surprise.

Weaknesses:
Phasing Limitations - Dense materials are harder for Kate to phase through, requiring more time without oxygen, more concentration, and posing great risk to her body. The consequences of solidifying inside of a solid material vary from getting stuck in an uncomfortable position to death.

Sight - When it comes to attacks, Kate can only phase through what she sees coming. If an opponent were to catch her off guard then she becomes vulnerable to their attack.

Human strength - Without her phasing ability, Kate has the strength and skill of any other human female who spends a lot of time in the gym.

Free diving - Kate is a skilled free diver who took up the sport in order to get the most out of her powers. She can hold her breath for up to ten minutes at a time already, but continues to train and push herself harder.

Advanced Hand-to-Hand Combat - Kate has had training in numerous styles of marital arts and can hold her own in a fight.

Memory - Kate has an impressive memory and she can recall entire conversations. She never forgets a face.


What made them cross the line?:
When her younger sister was senselessly gunned down in a gang-style killing, the police and conventional justice system were no help, refusing to go after the criminals and letting the case grow cold which forced Kate to take matters into her own hands.

Duniya ring - All of Hadiya's powers come from her ring, a mystical object that allows the user to have some of the powers of the Kenyan goddess of Nature, Duniya. The abilities that she possess with the ring are:


> Geokinesis: shape and manipulate earth and "earthen" elements, including most solid objects, specifically all minerals and mineral compositions regardless of their state.

>Aerokinesis- shape and manipulate air.

> Zoolingualism- The power to talk to animal life forms and understand their reactions.

Aerokinesis:

>Ineffective in a vacuum: atmosphere must be present.

> Electricity manipulation users can use electrons to detonate the various compound molecules within the air, which may overwhelm the user.

African fighting styles: Tahtib, Dambe, and Laamb are a few forms of martial arts that she holds under her belt. Though, she is interested in learning Mixed Martial arts, especially Kung Fu, she plans to save it for another day.

Staff - Hidaya's staff was a gift from one of the memebers of the crusaders, when she was initiated into the team. It's one of her prized possessions and agruably, the only weapon she needs. It has the ability to separate into two batons and a retractable blade on both ends, granting it the ability to be two knives or a double bladed spear.

《 Background 》
History:
Matthew Volt was dropped off at an orphanage when he was just an infant. Growing up out of an orphanage in Detroit was rough. Getting called Zappy due to the fact that he somehow managed to generate enough static electricity to shock quite literally everyone he touched was even worse, and really not helpful due to his unfortunate last name. He became a target to bullies due to his quiet nature, and when he stood his ground he was met with physical violence. He could deal with that. When he was taking the train home, when he was in eighth grade or so, things had gotten a bit out of hand. He'd gone and mouthed off one of the extremely problematic person in his grade. You know, the one that even the football and basketball players did not mess with?​
Yeah. Not a good idea in retrospect. The kid's old man ran a part of one of the big gangs, and the kid had something that he needed to prove. Matt got jumped on the platform by a small group of gang members led by the asshole, and after taking a severe beating that hurt his pride as much as his everything, was thrown down onto the tracks. He hit the third rail, and the entire west side of Detroit blacked out. When he woke up, he was in an interrogation room. Didn't know where, didn't know why. His head felt way too fuzzy, probably some kind of sedative or painkillers. Judging by the headache he got from trying to hack the camera feed, something else was also pumping through his blood right then. He didn't catch much of what the cop, no, not cop... Some guy in some uniform that he didn't know of had been saying. The guys he'd dealt with were dead, electrocuted. Mentioned how he'd apparently woken up a couple times in the hospital, each event coinciding with what looked like a horror movie as computers and hospital equipment went haywire.​
He was soon transferred into a training program in order to gain control of his abilities. It was all very obscure, no legitimate names or clear answers. This program turned out to be some sort of military prep school, where he learned a great deal about hand to hand combat, as well as firearms and other weapons. He was good, one of the more promising individuals. He almost fell for the praise, the goals he was given to strive for, the target and endgame, he'd later say that it took him way too long to realize that they wanted to see him using his electrokinesis to take out opponents... Permanently. By then he was in training with the kids who lost sight of mercy and morals. It was noted how his base output voltage level increased drastically when he was under duress. He doesn't like to think about how they figured that out. There were times when he couldn't afford to show mercy. Mutually assured destruction, he'd heard one of the doctors comment as he started to come around after very nearly getting disemboweled by some Wolverine knockoff. He'd been taken out of combat training to recover, and they decided to hone in on his technopathy instead.​
He was a weapon. The end goal was to sell off vicious kid soldiers. There were a lot of kids dying here, senseless deaths to ween out the weakest of them, the ones that still showed mercy. His technopathy training had garnered whoever this group was a great deal of information on several things that anyone in a 'training facility' should not know. He had to give them something, otherwise he'd probably get thrown back into combat training, and with some of the information he got into, he knew that that could be fatal for him. He used this time, faking things to make it seem like he had a bit more trouble and required more time to finish his tasks, to gain an understanding of how the facility worked and what he could manipulate within it. They had no clue. He became increasingly aware of the security stationed around the facility, and where the weak points were.​
Slowly but surely he formed a plan of escape with a couple of other kids that managed to keep their heads on straight, and after the fight of their lives they managed to actually get away. He helped them establish identities online, faking photos and records in order to let them blend in and start new lives, leaving their pasts behind them. He chose to stay off the grid, and exposed the facility when they had a small electrical fire that caused emergency crews to flock to the scenes. Investigations were launched immediately when files leaked out about the treatment of the children at the facility. A couple of kids stayed with him for a while, they'd stolen a panel van and were living out of it for maybe two years, keeping tabs on the place and making sure that the kids didn't get shipped off to yet another facility. They had been less than amused when a few more facilities popped up from the ashes of the first. He decided then and there that he'd take out every last one of the sick fucks in charge of the program. Lizzy aka Firefly, Meg aka White Mage, and John aka Knight stuck with him. They liked to call themselves the Nobody Kids, since they lacked any ties with anyone, and no one would be able to track them down.​
With his newfound freedom, Matthew took on the alias Havoc, in memory of his role in the escapes they launched. They were vigilantes, and while Havoc ran PR for them, there was still blood on their hands at the end of the day. Tensions started to ramp up, like they always did when four technically emotionally stunted late teens were crammed together living in the back of a panel van. Firefly started taking her frustrations out during missions, really not a good thing at all when one's powers operated best without stress, Meg and John up and disappeared after she took out a kid who'd attacked them out of fear. After that mission, he and Lizzy had a talk.​
The talk, oh it turned into a full on brawlhalla. She'd egged him on. Pushed him past the line he'd clearly drawn out, pressed all the right buttons and made him snap. Asked him to follow along like a good little murder machine. He lashed out in a nonlethal way, blanking out the fact that she could poof flaming weapons into existence. He probably should have used his powers. She kicked his ass. The only reasons for why he was alive were because the injuries had instantaneously cauterized themselves upon infliction and that she apparently wanted him to live. He knew she was more than capable of making that killing blow. But instead she walked away and disappeared off the face of the Earth.​
He started travelling, maybe had a bit of soul searching too when the radio would lose signal in the mountains or in the middle of nowhere. He healed up. Smartened up. Got back into the swing of things and regaining confidence in his decisions. He helped people who needed it, the ones that were always pushed aside in the face of a problem. He helped people disappear. He frequently took out major threats when he came into a new area, some being left for police with damning evidence that would keep them in whatever dark hole they got shoved in, and some getting the electric chair for their crimes. He was always careful about the calls he made.​
He never stayed anywhere for too long, since he was aiming to avoid clashing with any of the self-proclaimed heroes that only showed their faces when something big was going on.​
Of course, he couldn't avoid potential problems forever. He crossed paths with Behemoth a few times while the guy was still with the Justiciars, occasionally fighting with him and occasionally helping him out. It depended on the day, mission, and target. Eventually, Behemoth approached him regarding a new method of fighting crime. One that he was already well versed with. They hadn't killed each other when they were on opposing sides and there was some mutual respect there. He initially disliked the idea of working in a group, since he really didn't want to end up in another situation where his abilities would be abused, but he knew Behemoth well enough to make an educated decision. The guy was a bit of an ass sometimes, but he wasn't that big of an ass, so Havoc became a founding member of the Crusaders.​

Personality:
Matthew is a calm individual. Being relaxed under pressure is one of his specialties and he very rarely breaks his composure. He can be sociable when he has to be, though he tends to get worn out by too much contact. He can be a bit sarcastic when he feels like it and enjoys giving people a bit of grief when they do something stupid. Trickery and relatively harmless pranks also have a tendency to occur around him when he gets bored. He does have a good head on his shoulders, tries to look for things that he can fix or mess with when the darker thoughts sneak in. He is unorthodox, something that he takes a bit of pride in, and the reactions that he can gauge from his sometimes odd behavior are always a welcome reminder that he isn't just a walking weapon.​

Equipment:
RUBBER GLOVES AND RUBBER SOLED BOOTS - due to the constant charges released by his body, he wears rubber gloves and boots in order to prevent himself from accidentally short circuiting any technological devices when he isn't off saving the world.​
SUIT - composed of a self-healing metal and synthetic material weave, this suit is highly conductive to electricity and magnifies his electrokinetic attacks. it's also bullet resistant, not bullet proof. the suit repairs slower than average due to the constant charges being released by him, so if he gets shot multiple times in the same spot in a rapid time frame, the bullets could get through and actually cause injury. the suit doesn't hold up too well against heat, either.​

TWIN PISTOLS - in the case of him not being able to use his more combative abilities when he's a little too close to the action.​
RIFLE - range is his best friend. give him a vantage point and watch him go.​
BOOT KNIFE - for when shit really hits the fan.​

Practical Know-How:
HACKER - he knows all about getting into websites and systems that he really shouldn't be able to without getting caught. he can find information with absolute ease and cause a bit of havoc if building security controls are within his electronic reach.​
HAND TO HAND - he doesn't like it, but he knows how to fight up close and personal when he has to. emphasis on doesn't like. putting himself in the "get your head punched off" range is just plain stupid. too much risk, considering that he doesn't have any kind of enhanced strength or durability.​
MEDICAL - he knows how to treat injuries from a lot of personal experience. he generally doesn't trust anyone to treat his own injuries, considering the fact that he probably would end up zapping whoever was attempting the feat.​
Skillset:
GUNNER - he's had extensive firearms training and has a very keen eye. this comes in handy when his abilities are compromised, since it's relatively easy to negate his more offensive one.​
TACTICAL - he was trained during his stint in pseudo-military prep school in order to make plans and adapt to the situation at hand. he doesn't like operating without a game plan and generally refuses to take on a mission until something vaguely reasonable is framed out.​
PAIN TOLERANCE - he can operate under duress. ignoring pain and tuning it out until he can actually do something about it is something that he was trained to do. it probably isn't the healthiest thing in the world, but it does the trick during a fight.​
《 Abilities 》

Powers:
TECHNOPATH - he can manipulate technology by utilizing his electrokinesis to access a mental interface from which he can control a given piece of technology. this requires a certain proximity depending on the level of difficulty.​
ELECTROKINESIS - his body generates a high level of electricity that he is able to manipulate in order to fry security systems, zap opponents, or occasionally shock people that need a slap on the wrist. it's effective in ranged format as well as close combat, but he really doesn't like getting in close to his opponents.​

Weaknesses:
LOW TECH - his technopathy doesn't work on purely mechanical devices, and the older and more outdated the technology is, the harder it is for him to manipulate.​
PROXIMITY - his technopathy requires him to be close enough to observe what he is manipulating.​
SHORT CIRCUIT - if he attempts to use his electrokinesis when his skin is in contact with water, there is an extremely high risk of him zapping himself instead.​
NON-CONDUCTIVE MATTER - materials such as rubber and silicate are extremely resistant to electrical charges and pose some aggravating problems when worn by opponents.​
MAGNETS - electrokinesis gets whacky as all hell around magnets. his ability to aim any impulses gets extremely distorted, and there is a risk of him short-circuiting if he makes contact with a strong enough magnet. not to mention his suit is made up of some metal compounds, so he could get stuck on a powerful enough magnet. his technopathy would also get glitchy when exposed to high powered magnets.​

Coyote has a headstrong, take no shit personality. She stands firm for what she believes in even when her ideals sicken those around her. She has an idea of what's right for the world and if others condemn her for it, then so be it. She hates to be judged based on her powers and has a tendency to lash out at others. Most of the time she unapologetic for the damage and trauma she causes but in rare cases she will retreat to one of her hide-y holes to wallow in shame and guilt. Though she trusts her fellow Crusaders, she hates showing 'weak' emotions in front of them and if she gets injured during a fight, she'll try to hide her pain until she's alone. She has a few trust issues and only a few people she'll share them with.

Aside from the above, Coyote isn't a surly person 24/7, most of the time she appears laid back and likes to engage in practical jokes. She's the person who 'too soon's' are often aimed at when she makes an ill-timed joke.

History:
For as long as she could remember, Gabrielle had been in foster care. She figured that she'd been taken away from her parents when she was a baby and they were never able to work things out and get her back. She never had any contact with her parents, so she didn't know where to start when it came to reaching out to them. For the most part, though, she was a pretty happy kid. Sure, there were some bad apples at the Saint Augustine's Home for Wayward Girls but the nuns were relatively nice and Gabrielle had enough friends to not become overwhelmed by the bad. She always thought that when she got older, she would end up sticking around to help raise the other girls or assist the nuns in other ways but when her powers manifested at 13, everything changed.

The evening her powers changed, the director of the foster house told her to gather her stuff and separated her from the other girls. She was told that a hero was going to take her in and that she was to learn to be a good person. That confused her because she always thought she was a good person. She decided to brush that comment off though, in favor of getting excited for the arrival of a hero. A hero who was going to take her in. Maybe even adopt her? She couldn't think of a better way to live out her life.

DrastiX was the hero who came to adopt her. He was a well-known superhero in Florida. He'd been named 'most charming hero' for five consecutive years in SuperPeople weekly. His powers were psychic based and he was known for funding a lot of villain rehabilitation programs. Gabrielle wasn't sure if she cared for that last part, but everything else sounded awesome. In fact, everything DrastiX did was awesome. Everything he said was awesome. The air he breathed was awesome. Until it wasn't. It only took two years living with the psychic hero for Gabrielle to realize that he had no intention of training her to be a real sidekick and that...he was afraid of her. She couldn't under why until she overheard a conversation between some of DrastiX's other sidekicks.

"He only got her so he could keep an eye on her."
"She's only five steps away from total villain mode."
"Her powers are definitely not hero-like."

She decided then that as soon as she turned 18, she was getting the hell out of there. She was hero material. Her powers were good. And she was going to prove it.

After only a month of fighting crime on her own and failing miserably at it, Gabrielle was taken in by a group of young heroes called Empire. They were led by an actual power couple named Aethon (alien with enhanced condition/solar energy manipulation) and Arges (enhanced condition/energy manipulation), who had been overlooked by many super leagues simply because they didn't look like good guys. They taught Gabby to roll with the punches and do what she felt was right despite the odds stacked against her. They also gave her, her superhero name-Coyote.

Coyote ran with Empire for six years until the group split up due to Aethon and Arges adopting a child and fearing that their superhero life would affect the child badly. Without their two leaders the group tried to carry on but without their two leaders to mediate and direct them, they eventually split up on bad terms with each other. Coyote went solo for awhile but soon met with the Crusaders.

Powers:
Illusion Manipulation

Coyote can create, shape and manipulate illusions, causing targets to see, hear, touch, smell and/or taste things that don't exist or cause them to perceive things differently from what they truly are. Coyote is able to superficially bend reality to create fantasy lands and disguise her true appearance.
She can create doppelgangers, simulate diseases/overdoses/detrimental side effects, lead people to believe that they've lost some or all of their five senses, make them think they're in great pain etc. Coyote possesses the insight to the phobias of others and often uses this knowledge against them.

Those with psychic powers or enhanced senses can see through her illusions, although if she attacks them without them knowing it, they may be taken off guard before realizing what's going on.

What made them cross the line?
Since the manifestation of her powers, Coyote has always been regarded as potentially detrimental to society. Realistically speaking, her powers would have been more effective if she was a villain, so after her powers were revealed she was taken under the wing of DrastiX, a popular hero with psychic powers. As a psychic based user, DrastiX could easily see through Coyote's illusions and thwart her if needed but, as it stood, he never needed to. The teenager at the time was thrilled to be a sidekick and fight for good.

As a foster child, she'd seen a lot of bad and wanted to combat that bad with goodness. However, as she grew and her powers got stronger it seemed as though DrastiX was purposely blocking her at every turn. Most opportunities to get experience in the field were given to other weaker sidekicks and she was left on the bench. Often times she would study villains, acquaint herself with their MOs and figure out ways to defeat them but when she shared these methods with DrastiX, he would brush her off but then use those very strategies to apprehend the bad guys. After a while it became very clear that DrastiX had no intention of turning Coyote into a sidekick, he just wanted to keep an eye on her and use her on occasion.

Nearly every day with DrastiX was spent having rules drilled into her. Never use people's fears against them. Never simulate diseases or overdoses to take down your opponents (not that she had any). Never do this. Never do that. Coyote got sick of that really fast. There was no reason for her to not do any of that. They were skills that came with her power so why ignore them? They would get the job done a hell of a lot faster and could incapacitate some villains for good!

As soon as she turned 18, Coyote left DrastiX to forge her own path as a superhero, using all her powers to fight, no matter how dark they seemed and no matter what damage they did to villains.

Body Build: Shadow is a lean muscular guy. Being that his type of fighting involves a lot of movements and maneuvers he focuses more on speed and endurance, over brute strength when he's working out. Giving him a tight and lean body that can withstand a few punches but is more capable of moving around bigger guys and tiring them out, so he doesn't have to take those hits.

Personality: Justice a.k.a Shadow is a man of mystery and misery. He tends to be very self-destructive and pessimistic. There are most moments when he's very sarcastic and an asshole. But that his own special way of showing he cares. The young male has a problem with showing his emotions and would rather fight or run before discussing what's really going on. He can become very defensive when someone asks about his past or if they see that he's upset, Justice will brush them off or make a joke to attempt to change the situation.

He comes off as cold and heartless, but there is a huge heart in there and that's exactly why he doesn't show it. Afraid of letting people in and being let down again, like he has always been. The young male has come along way, even his fellow Crusaders don't know everything or really anything about Justice before he joined them.

Reckless and hotheaded at times is also something he needs to work on. He's more action oriented than thinking before doing something he'd regret later. His emotions control him more than logical thinking. Sometimes that's a good thing to go with your gut instincts, but it's not always the right thing to do.

When he's in a good mood, which is rare, Justice has a odd charm about him. Call it that Bad Boy appeal, but whatever it is, when he pulls it out, he definitely can be magnet for good attention. It takes time for a guy like Justice to let others in and even though he doesn't show it... he is grateful that The Crusaders took him in and he would kill whoever tries to hurt one of them.

History: The only son of the Infamous Outlaws; a Villainy Couple made up of Armageddon and Lady Chaos. A couple that has gone down in history as two of the worst of the worst. With Chaos Manipulation (Lady Chaos) and Reality Manipulation (Armageddon), these two together were a match made in Hell. The Justiciars had to use all of the man and woman power to stop these two before they destroyed the entire universe which just a few snaps of their fingers.

A war between The Justiciars and The Outlaws lasted for years... it only came to an end, when a blessing came into The Outlaws lives.

After Lady Chaos discovered that she was pregnant with Justice, she and Armageddon had to make a tough decision; They had to give up this battle of good vs evil, as their child meant more to them than anything else. Even though they knew or felt they were close to destroying their enemies, Justice needed them and if this battle ended with death... they weren't ready for it to be their flesh and blood. The one and only time these two ever showed humanity in their entire lives.

Of course not being able to just give their word, The Justiciars made The Outlaws sign a Treaty of cease fire for a lifetime. And if they were to ever break said Treaty... they'd lose their child and their own lives in the process.

As Justice grew up, he was never hidden away from his parents passed. He knew who they used to be and what they were now. Of course, being told this... Justice never wanted anyone to know how his parents were and never spoke about the to anyone. For most of his teen years, he never showed any signs of having powers Which devastated and also relieved his parents; they didn't want him to go down the same path they had gone down.

Only a few months after his nineteenth birthday, did Justice show signs of have a power. A power that neither of his parents thought he'd ever have in their wildest imaginations. He would wake up from deep dreams of darkness and figures in the dark, only to find himself not in his bed but on the couch or sometimes on the roof of his home. There was no explanation other than him having powers.

They didn't know what he had until one day when Justice got in a fight with some drug dealer around his town. This was the first time Justice had ever been in a fight, so of course he didn't do too good. But something snapped in his head when he got pissed off by being beaten to a bloody mess. He could feel a dark chill run down his spine as he blinked and ended up on the other side of the drug dealer, as said drug dealer swung and just hit dark clouds of smoke. Justice kept blinking and switching sides until the drug dealer was totally confused and Justice started hitting him from each side, without hesitation.

After doing some research and help from his parents, they discovered that Justice didn't have regular teleporting powers... he was somehow connected to a dark dimension where he could travel through shadows and use said dark dimension to transfer things and even use the darkness to gain physical enhancements.

It only took him a few more years to get better at his powers. He never saw himself as a superhero, but he never saw himself as a villain either. More of a vigilante or Antihero that did what he needed to help the people he wanted to help.

It was only when Justice had heard about The Crusaders that he felt there were other people like him. Bad guys needed to be punished more than just a slap on the wrist or a night in jail. And he has been with The Crusaders ever since discovering them... well being discovered by them, thanks to a few petty beat downs of city thugs in his area.

They still and will probably never know that their comrade is the son of two of the former most evilest villains ever known to curse this universe.

Powers: Darkness Manipulation
Shadow Travel - Thanks to his connection to the dark dimension, Justice can travel great distances or short distances as many times as he wants. This is what he mainly uses his power for. Using shadow travel or shadow step to jump around his opponent and tire them out, while hitting them from every angle, surprising them each time. Anyone with good judgment or combat prediction power can predict his next move and stop or counter attack said move. He is more of an assassin, Ninjutsu type of fighter so once the style of surprise attacking is figured out... he usually doesn't do to well in battle.

Weapon Teleporting - Since he can't just carry his daggers and poisons around with him at all times, Justice leaves said main weapons in the dark dimension so he can create a mini black hole of sorts to take out his weapons at anytime he needs them. It also helps with surprising his opponent. Seeing as he always starts with no weapons, they won't see it coming.

Weapon Forming - Sometimes instead of teleporting his weapons, Justice will use dark energy as a solid material and create dark daggers, which will do a different kind of damage to an opponent than a regular poisoned tipped dagger would.

Cloaking - Not only can he teleport through shadows and darkness, he can also hide in the shadows if he needs to, he loves espionage so this trick is one he does often. Even though it doesn't last long, Justice has been able to cloak other people and objects he isn't touching for a few minutes at a time. It takes a lot of concentration and energy, so he sticks to cloaking himself more than anything else.

Enhanced Speed & Endurance - Tapping into the Dark Dimension gives Justice enhanced physical capabilities, mostly his speed and endurance is heightened. It might be different for others that can tap into dark dimensions but for him, speed and endurance his what he uses the most so it makes sense his connection to the dark dimension increases these two physical capabilities the most.

Weapons: Daggers & Poison

Equipment: -Crusader Badge he fashioned into a Bracelet.
-Specially Made Suit able to withstand travel through the dark dimension and also self repairing.
-Pair of headphones he always has on him. Best way to keep him calm is to listen to music. Never goes anywhere without them. Made of same material his suit is.

Skills: Ninjutsu - Even before he used his powers in this way, Justice was always fascinated with ninjas and assassins, and he begged his parents into getting him into a class at the age of fourteen where he could learn karate and martial arts. It only took him a few years later to fully understand Ninjutsu and become a master of espionage combat.

Cooking - He is amazing in the kitchen. Well when he wants to be nice. Can whip on a lot of food from scratch. Give him a pot and some running water, he'll have a feast in no time.

Swimming - Loves the water and can hold his breath under water for almost twenty minutes. It might be a side effect of the dark dimension not having a regular type of oxygen system, so he's use to breathing differently.

Hand-To-Hand Combat - He doesn't only know Ninjutsu. Being around street thugs and criminals most of his life, Justice learned to defend himself way before he learned it professionally. He can kick some ass, with or without his powers.

What made them cross the line?: Justice was never on a certain side to "cross a line". He has always been pro-kill villains that deserve it. He never had hesitation or a second thought about it. Seeing what villainy did to his parents, Justice doesn't want any other kid to ever have to deal with that in their own lives.

Kent is mostly a loner preferring to work alone rather in a group. But behind his cold exterior is a warm kindess that he shows at times but not often. He shows no mercy to those he deems worthy of his ire believing they had their chance to turn from their evil acts. His methods could be describe as ruthless to put it lightly. He is distrustful of people but if you earn his respect ans trust, you have a friend for life.

History:
Kent Moss grew up in the foster system never learning of his real parents. The only thing he knew about his parents was that his father had served in the military. It was a rough childhood but he never let it damper his spirit and when he came of age, he joined the army in hopes of following his father's footsteps and possibly meet him. Even during his time with the army he was a kind soul, always helping out his fellow soldiers. But one day he was selected to be a part of a program to help better serve his country.

However the young recruit didn't know what the Secret Soldier program had in store for him. Altogether there were 12 candidates to under go the intensive conditioning and rigorous training. The only survivor was Kent and they turned him into a brainwashed weapon, giving him the name of Secret Soldier. Armed with a high tech shield, super human strength and endurance, and a suit that protected him from all manner of attack, Secret Soldier was deployed on various of black op missions with morally ambiguous goals. However on one mission he was assigned to assassinate a family of a rogue operative yet during this mission he was able to wake up from the years of brainwashing. He went rogue himself and hid himself in Africa fighting pirates and warlords and anyone that would harm innocents or take advantage of them. It was there he met Behemoth who convinced him to join his group of Crusaders.


Powers:
Super Strength: Kent is far stronger than the average human but not near as strong as Zenith or Behemoth. But his Super Strength does give him higher endurance.

Weapons:
Valkyrie Shield: The Valkyrie Shield has three functions. The first function is Protection mode where the shield offers a kinetic buffer allowing Kent to ward off most attacks. The second function is Close-quarters mode where the shield forms into a large blade but giving up its defensive capabilities. The third function is Range mode where the sides of the shield expand into a wing formation allowing Kent to focus the kinetic buffer into blasts.

Equipment:
Tactical Armored Combat Suit (TACS): This suit awards Kent with further protection allowing him to absorb most impacts, offers him a degree of bullet proof, and can withstand stab and slashing attacks by knives and other bladed objects. It can also camouflage him (also his shield) into the environment for limited amount of time per reset. The helmet acts like a respirator/gas mask and gives him night vision. The suit can adjust its temperature allowing Kent to fight in most climates.

Lacking the ability to take any thing serious Jack comes off as a young arrogant man with a dark sense of humor, which gets a little more darker when he mutates into Apex, A vicious beast who likes to tourture his victims before eating them.

[History]
Jack tends to joke around and claim he was created in lab, but the truth is Jack Roser was a normal kid from california. When Jack was 18 he was diagnosed with an Agressive virus that deteriorated his body at a rapid pace.Since none of doctors even knew what they were dealing with, they had no choice but to involve the goverment in fear of an outbreak.A week after Jack was taken by the US goverment a letter returned to his parents claiming that he had died from his illness.

With no hope of finding a cure for Roser within the short amount of time he had left the idea of pulling the plug was offered to Jack to end his suffering.It was then when Jack had first met Doctor Isioka and her employer Arlic Kuaffmen. The two played Jack for a fool and convinced him to let them help him recover.

After a two years and afew hundred tests and experiments, Doctor Isioka and her team of of Geneticists were able to save Jack by combining the genetic traits of multiple species of animals with his. Because of the rapid cell regrowth effect that the gene mixing gave Jack, he was able to grow back the organs that were destroyed by the virus in a matter of minutes. But it did not stop there, after running more test on him,they learned that Jake was not only recovering, he was evolving eventually becoming some what of a super human.

The moment Kauffman was informed of the success, He took Jack from Dr.Isioka and took him to a small graveyard in Calofonia and showed Jack the Grave that his parents had made for him before showing him a few pictures of his mother and father who seemed to be living comfortable thanks to a donation from Kauffman himself.Jack already knew where the coversation was going, and agreeded to what ever Kauffman had planned.

[What made them cross the line]

For three years Jack was Kauffman's attack dog.using Jack's family to blackmail him. On record Jack was tasked with killing a few supers who were on the C.I.A's most wanted list while Kauffman took the credit. But the truth was Jack killed who ever was in Kauffman's way whether it was a public offical or some detective with a mask that got a little nosey.



Ironically Jack's next target was the one who set him free and allowed him to slip off the grid for awile.

Description:
Eliza Marie Grace, AKA Firefly.
She appeared approximately sixteen years ago amid the fallout of a governmental training program for empowered children. Her protective services were offered to the highest bidder, leading her to work under Arlic Kauffman. She is very talented in all aspects of her combative abilities and lacks a moral code, making her an incredibly useful weapon. She bases herself in sound tactics and has a fairly high leveled skill in hacking.

Abilities:

Fueling Frustration - she gains strength for her abilities by absorbing the frustrations of others.

Pacifier - by taking away the frustrations of others, she is able to make them more lenient to her will, getting them to stand down in confrontations without the use of violence.

Temperature - her skin is burning hot and very dangerous to touch. a do not hug order has been in effect for a long time now courtesy of a certain walking bug zapper who was in training with her.

Flame Construct - in confrontations, she is able to forge weapons of varying make from her flames. it could be a flaming gun that shoots fireballs, it could be a dagger, it all depends on what she needs.

Weaknesses:

Frustration - her own abilities become weakened when she starts to get frustrated.

Oxygen - fire requires oxygen in order to burn, plain and simple.

Water - it takes a lot for water to affect her, considering that most evaporates around her before it has a chance to make contact, but complete submersion is an effective way of dousing out her abilities.

The throwing knives can be ignored, and the cloak is only used in times of being out and about wishing not to draw attention to herself. But she will always have the plan hood with a black mask similar to Nightwings from the DC comics. With the outfit above or the one in the appearance image.

Personality: Vanessa is still learning different things about being at a new world. She's curious about cultures, the animals, plants and so forth. An extrovert who can be talkative, but also at times seems very introverted for their are times she prefers keeping to herself. She's kind and caring especially to those close to her and that she has let inside the walls she has put up. Lightning Aurora isn't someone who trust others easily. Trust is something you must earn from her. Anger is something she doesn't have a great hold on. Anger isn't something she feels often and when she does the rage, hate can be misguided, or out of control.

History:

"My history?" Vanessa looks around seeing what she might should share. Are these friends or foes? She sighs nodding. "Alright as you may have guessed I'm no from around here. But another planet. My parents well their dead, do I have siblings yes one. Why would I leave them?" She paused. "Well, I did something very wrong I realize now, I choose to leave for her. To protect her. What's wrong with me. Well I'm not telling you." She simply stated. "Now I'm here, keeping to myself best I can. Surviving, and surrounding myself with books."

Vanessa won't give much to anyone about her past. It's a memory she chooses to keep faint even in her own mind. It helps prevent some of her anger, sadness, fears, rage, envy. The best memory she has to share is her sister. Who she hopes might one day answer her calls.

Lightning Aurora, why she came to Earth, and later a hero:

Aurora choose to flee to Earth because at the time she believed the world was in less chaos than her own. She left her sister because her sister had been to young to take with her. She planned to go back once understanding the cultures and ways of Earth. But over time her mind was changed. The few brief conversations she use to have with her sister made it clear. Only Aurora should live on Earth. Her sister had fallen in love and would not be moved to leave. Of course at the same time Aurora learned the world wasn't as she expected. But it was hard to expect anything from a distances seeing a new world on a ships screen.

Aurora choose at first to pretend she didn't have any special abilities. Defending herself with the tools she brought from home. She's dealt with her fair share of local thieves, avoided death. One day she too fell in love. Her first love young love is what it was. She had left her home at 14 human years, and found this love at 15. He wasn't anything special if you were to ask anyone. Probably a fool at most who meet a young girl at a bookstore. No, however, he did want change. He spoke tales of a better Earth, one where Villains didn't get everything they wanted. People couldn't just kill who they desired. He taught her what he could about some of the cultures and races that were from Earth.

The reason Aurora stopped hiding her abilities and put on a hero costume. Something happened to that first love the one she had let in. He had made some friends with the wrong crowd and they came to collect from him everything they claimed he owed. This included his life. Somehow they had been following his usual route, and choose to jump both him and Aurora. The reason they wanted what she might have to offer as well.

Out of respect for her first loves wishes she wasn't going to just fight these men. No Nick wanted to reason with the men first. She was to slow to stop the gun that was shot off that day. Aurora blames herself for the trigger ever being set off when the gun was pointing at Nick. The moment he died was the moment she suddenly had enough. No longer could she put up with the deaths of innocents from news reports. No longer could she let thieves just run off with nothing more than a few bruises. Her heart had been broken and rage fueled her actions. Ten men suddenly struct by lighting out of the blue from clear skies. What followed was heat so extreme their bodies showed serious burns. Even Aurora's home was destroyed before she settled down and cried. Rain following above covering her and Nick. While she grieved. After that she began to look over Nick's favorite ideas and began working on the hero he mentioned. One who would do anything to clean up this world and bring back justice. Create a place where people who were to weak or afraid to do anything would feel safe on the streets.

The name Lightning Aurora became big in her small town. The town she found young love, the town she came to and settled down on the run from home. Taking out the trash of scum. One day to be found by the creator of the Crusaders, it was five years after Nick had died that she meet someone with the opportunity to do something for more than just her small town. Lightning Aurora still isn't sure how to take being around others from the fear of letting more get close. She did accept and hopes one day she might feel it's okay to let someone in.

Powers:
Simple description weather manipulation

Water manipulation: Can bend water at their will making it a liquid, solid or gas The climate, and access to water makes a big difference on how strong this ability is. Dry climate this ability isn't of any use really. Basically only steam, or a really exhausted looking Electric Nova who needs a drink and soon. Nova can use the water provided in her body but like with humans it could kill her from dehydration.

Heat/Fire Manipulation: The power is drawn from a star, basically a planets sun. Nova can manipulate the temperature, or focus the energy in a spot to create fire. Using this to burn objects, landscapes, and even enemies. But the side effect is this isn't practical, and the ability takes a lot more focus than water. Side effects include being the need for rest, headaches, the need of an energy boost.

Earth Manipulation: (Yes she can move the earth too yes this is a type of weather. Simple Earthquakes, landslides etc) Shifting of the rocks, and dirt. Think of Terra from Teen Titans, the effects of her powers but not to the extent that Aurora can fly using rocks. Nova can create small or large quakes, move rocks, make sand, create sink wholes. Just not lift in the air the rocks far away without using a combination of this ability with another.

Wind/air Manipulation: Can shift, move, change the air currents, and fronts. The wind can quickly be used to create a tornado, or hurricane. Aurora can concentrate the wind to lift her off the ground and fly. Basically in a way it's more levitation than flight. She can use the wind to make the umbrella like a glider.

Magnetic and Electromagnetic Manipulation: Aurora can shift, and change/manipulate the magnetic energy on Earth and other planets. The imbalances can cause miniature storms of radiation, or larger storms depending on the location Aurora is manipulating. This includes changing the strength of the magnetic field. Changing the magnetic field can make a lack in gravity which could change an locations battle field. The shift can also have a ripple affect in certain areas creating radiation, and miniature radiation storms this can result in technology difficulties. Aurora isn't powerful enough to manipulate the magnetism enough to cause great harm to others by radiation however. Just give minor effects.

Connected to the atmosphere, and nature: (call this a power if you will otherwise I'm not sure where to put it)
Lightning Aurora is in tune with the atmosphere, temperature, climate around her. This helps Aurora know what of her ability will be best in certain locations. Meanwhile, by feeling all of these things around Vanessa is in tune to nature as well. Partly due to the monkey instinct, or well the part animal that everyone from her home have. It represents how they are one like the animals to nature, and are connected like all things in a cycle.

Weapons:
Black Umbrella- not only can this Umbrella protect you from the sun and rain, but bullets, missiles, and if your skilled maybe even grenades. The umbrella can also extend temporary by Nova's will to be used similar to a staff. The handle is made of a metal not from Earth but from Vanessa home planet. At the tip small needles inside that can be shot out.

Equipment:

Only equipment she usually has on her is the weapons, and her Crusader Badge which she keeps in a pocket at all times (hopefully she won't lose it). She does have a small travel book bag that keeps her casual clothes, the two different uniforms for hero businesses. A book, wallet, mp3 with head phones, a device she uses much like a cell phone most assume it's to keep in touch somehow with any living family, and a necklace that has a picture of her sister. Vanessa prefers things that make her travel light and so she can stay on the go.

Skills:

Adaptability: Vanessa can adapt to different environments, atmosphere's and even planets pretty easily. Making it where she can easily use her powers anywhere. Sadly this doesn't include adapting to speaking with new people, she's fine visiting remote locations but her social skills don't improve where she can befriend everyone and anyone.

Hand-to-Hand Combat

Martial Arts- Vanessa's home they know what humans would call Tai Chi. But from being at a new planet for a few years she chose to learn Tae-kwon-do, and new techniques of Tai Chi, along with adding them to a Martial Arts weapons course that makes her umbrella's extend-ability that much more useful.

Weakness: (Some are in the Powers Details)

Emotions: Strong feelings, strong emotions good or bad can have an effect on her powers. The powers can either be tamed and under Lightning Aurora's control, or by strong negative emotions her power could spiral out of control creating disasters that can only be stopped once she's calmed down.

What made them cross the line?:
The Line took time to cross, she didn't find it right that people we're being killed. Wondered why no one seemed capable of stopping the deaths. Life to the planet she was raised on was special, only when her home life was threatened did her people turn to violence. Then slowly on her time of this world she realized something had to be done. Like her ancestors she would pick up the task of trying to make things right. No one deserved a world of chaos and destruction, of the little importance of life. Dark souls of people always having their way. Now she might not have much room to talk due to the true reasons she left her home. But the reasons she left Aurora chooses to keep to herself.

Alexander Grayson has a rather blunt, straightforward, cold attitude towards his enemies, and from time to time, his allies as well. He almost always has a rather serious expression plastered on his face. It is really hard to earn his trust, but overtime, it is possible. He is a man with an agenda, a goal. Focused on what is ahead, he prefers to work alone, but does not mind teamwork, as long as it does not get in the way of the end result. In general, he is a brutal, savage man towards his enemies.

HISTORY
Alexander Grayson only had one parent since his birth, his father. Growing up, he was told that his mother abandoned them, and because of that, his hatred for her only grew. He did not care though, because his father was around. However, it all changed when his father got killed during a robbery.

Alexander was across the road when it all happened. He witnessed it, and froze. He was not strong enough to save his father, but could only see the bad guys get away. The heroes back then were too late to the scene, nor did the police do much to find the enemies. He got rather obsessed and was filled with anger when it all happened. He felt that the heroes, and the police were useless.

Even if the police told him more than once that they are close to finding the criminals, they weren't. Alexander decided to take matters into his own hands. Thanks to the inheritance from his father, he had enough sources to investigate himself. After months had passed, a similar robbery happened somewhere in the city.

Thanks to a friend in the police force, who felt the same way, he got the information he needed. Grabbing a simple gun, he left, feeling the need to take justice into his own hands. Unfortunately, like last time, the criminals got away, but after killing a few police officers. The full backup had not arrived yet, neither did any of the heroes back then.

Alexander followed them for hours, until he found them in a warehouse. Mustering the courage, he confronted them, but was able to injure only one of the three criminals. They on the other hand, shot him twice in the chest. Obviously, because of the mess, his enemies got into their van and disappeared.

Alexander was on the floor, bleeding out. Barely breathing, his eyes half shut. He could only see a shadow standing next to him. A figure he could barely see. When he opened up his eyes the next time, he was in a tank, having been experimented on.

That's when it all changed. That is when his dormant ability woke up, next to two others he got because of the experiment. That is where Spectre's story began.

ABILITIES
Regenerative Healing Factor - Alexander has the ability to heal rapidly from any physical injury.

Shadow Manipulation - He has the ability to travel between his own shadows, and that of others. Having a shadow dimension, he can disappear into it.

Enhanced Senses - As the name suggests, all of his senses are amplified.

WEAPONS
Handgun - A black modified handgun, that can shoot two rounds at the same time.

Katana - A japanese sword, giving him the capability to swiftly slice through his opponents or enemies.

Star Knives - Long range, quick throwing knives.

EQUIPMENT
Rappel Gun - Used for mobility in general, can be used against enemies as well, but normally for getting a better vantage point in some situations.

SKILLS
Swordmaster - Spectre is uniquely talented with his sword, and can use it simultaneously, or in combination with his handgun, switching between both during close range combat.

Adaptable - With his keen mind, he can adapt to almost any situation.

Hand to Hand - He is a formidable opponent in close quarters combat as well.

Flexible - Spectre is indeed quite flexible, and his enhanced senses can only add to his reactions, making him quite terrifying.

From the moment of his fatal injury, he had crossed the line. The death of his father, and the useless police force and the heroes, he felt that he had to take matters into his own hands. That is when Spectre was born.

Personality:
Calm, kind and patient would be good words to describe Otto when he is in private company or in public but underneath it all is a fiery hate and rage that fuels him in moments of batter or other extreme situations. Some have even compared him emotions like a volcano, slow to wake but immensely destructive.

History:
Otto's earliest memories were of an orphanage, Otto showed incredible talent from a young age as he taught himself how to read and write with little assistance from those that ran the orphanage but all of it deeply bored him as even at the age of seven he understood and could comprehend things going on around him and this made him rebel. By age fourteen Otto had been kicked out of the orphanage for lighting a fire even though he denied it and no real evidence could be provided against him and this provided the next step in the evolution of his life, during the winter of the year he was kicked out of the orphanage he stumbled upon a woman being mugged in an alley and with little thought to his own safety. For his effort Otto received a knife to the ribs but he gave as good as he got as he was able to drive his finger into the assailant's eye and while he wasn't able to incapacitate the assailant it did make him run and allow the woman to run out of the alley and wave down help and in the meantime Otto collapsed and passed out from blood loss. When Otto awoke he found himself in a hospital with the woman he saved sitting in his room with some very interesting news.

This woman was named Andrea and after learning who Otto was and his story she decided to sponsor him into a private academy as well as give him a home, with Otto's own natural talent on top of and academic environment that pushed Otto saw him excel and frankly speaking Otto seemed to be destined for life of profession and elite status, that was until the incident. Before the incident Otto had always had a bit of an anger issue, flying off the handle or overreacting to some news but it always seemed when he did fires would start nearby but no one, especially not Otto or Andrea, thought much of it and didn't make the connection that the flames were related to his anger until after the incident. The man that had once tried to mug Andrea and who had lost an eye to Otto had been planning and watching the two of them for four years and on the night of Otto's graduation he struck. He and a group of people with similar ill intent he had convinced to help him broke into the home and laid an ambush for the two of them when they arrived home from the ceremony. Otto couldn't do much of anything when they walked into the house and they separated Andrea and himself from each other, Andrea was held back as the man with one eye made his goons force Otto to his knees as the man drew a blade and made a slash at Otto's face attempting to take an eye but Otto pulled away at the last second only coming away with a cut under his eye but for Otto's resistance Andrea would pay the price. The one eyed man and his people did...horrible, unspeakable things to Andrea while forcing Otto to watch. Seeing this woman who had been so kind and caring to Otto for, giving him the love of a parent for the first time in his entire life up to this point made something snap in Otto's mind and like a dam that was slowly chipped away at until it burst power burst forth and Otto exploded in a very literal sense. Flames poured off Otto in his rage, his strength increased with his anger as did the heat of the flame, his hair turned red, his eyes began to glow and his skin grew white as he attacked and lashed out in vicious anger. His blows were fierce and did much more then just incapacitate one eye and his people, Otto crippled or caused some other irreversible harm to them.

Otto was found cradling Andrea's body, steam still rising off his body as the last of the fire died away as he gave way to his sorrow. Otto was taken to a police station to get a statement as the police had assumed a hero or villain had been behind the fire and the attack but Otto had not intent of staying around, he slipped from the station and disappeared and for months no one knew what happened to the young man. Soon after criminals started to turn up with horrible burns, broken bones and ruptured organs in some cases but never dead, though it was always noted that whoever was doing it had to be actively restraining themselves as scenes investigated after the fact found crushed concrete and melted steel. Soon the underground started to fear a new hero, the man on fire they called him, pale skin like snow, glowing orange eyes full of hate and red fire like hair. This went on for fifth teen years with each year the scenes becoming more refined, the wounds on the criminals just at brutal but much more precise and less life threatening, with burns and wounds cauterized shut. Of course the man on fire was Otto as he spent the fifth teen odd years between Andrea's death and now developing his powers and understanding them as well as trying to understand what he was but as with Andrea's death and how it changed him the death of another woman or rather a girl in this case would send him on a darker path.

What made them cross the line?:
Otto had been living a normal life, a job, a apartment and bills which while tedious kept up appearances so no one knew he was the man on fire. He had started taking lessons in fighting with a Dane ax both to incorporate with his times out fighting crime and to connect more with his heritage as a genetic test showed much ancestry from Scandinavian nations. One night on his way home from practice he had heard a sound coming from an alley he was passing which he chose to investigate, he readied a palm with flame in the event it was a crime in progress. Instead he found a teenager rummaging around in the trash looking for food, he encouraged the girl to come with him so she could get some food and sleep out of the exposure of the outside and for a time the anger in Otto seemed to still as he began to look after this girl like she was his own daughter. At the same time a known drug dealer had been released from prison early after being busted up by another one of the hero's, before long he was pushing drugs again and unfortunately Otto's adoptive daughter in all but name at this point had gone to a party which this drug dealer was at, a gangland style attack was meant to kill the drug dealer but he had left the party early, Otto's daughter had not. When Otto found out she was dead and then why she had died he lost control and for the next four weeks he hunted down all the shooters and took their heads with his ax before coming down on the drug dealer himself and burning him to ash in his drunken haze of rage, when it was found out what he had did, that he crossed that line he was branded a renegade.​

Personality: Usually quiet, sometimes perky on the right subjects. She generally keeps to herself, when she does interact she is polite and low key.

History:
Selene’s family was from Greece. A rare upper middle-class family in a poor country. Selene has one brother and one sister. As a bright young girl, Selene had big dreams. She thought perhaps a career in archeology would be cool and exciting. She went into college early, coming out years early with a P.H.D. at age 23. Being a young energetic and eager Archeologist, Selene went into the world. Selene specialized in the ancient world around the Mediterranean.


At one point, she discovers a cave, not on any map. Still considered too young to be anything more than an apprentice on any organized dig, she is ambitious. Within the cave she finds things that shouldn’t be there… extremely old things. She doesn’t know it yet, but she has found a presence. She leaves the cave not even having remembered she found it.


Her next job is in Lebanon, a dig in the mountains. A prestigious position in some ways, she gets the job because most sane archeologists consider the job and region too dangerous. She has her family visit the site to celebrate for Easter. Terrorists grab her family. Her father and brother are killed. What happens to her Mother, Sister and herself do not bear repeating. She has now been blinded and her family dead. One night during her captivity, a presence reaches out to her. The presence from the Cave. The presence calls itself Nix. It speaks to her in her mind. Desperate and near hopeless, she gives herself to the presence. She wakes up, all the terrorists are dead. Dried up like ancient mummies. She is now the picture of health aside from her burned out eyes. She has sight, given to her by the presence. She walks back from the place she was held. Guided by the presence to a place of safety. A year later, she finds herself back in that cave. Another year later she is in the United States As Gloom


Powers:

Her power is control of the shadowy dark substance that has been called the Gloom. It can do several things. It spreads out from her in a slow steady rate. Only she can see through it, unless she prepares her allies in advance. If it has spread past walls and barriers, she can see wherever it has gone. There is no light within her gloom, Energy from light is absorbed, literally fed on. The gloom can also absorb life energies, energies can be transferred to Gloom & making her own physical abilities vastly more powerful as the dark feeds on more energies. Within the gloom she can cause the slow decay of any material. At night she can be incredibly hard to spot, especially within her gloom.

Within the gloom her defenses are very good against both physical or energy or even mental. Outside of the gloom, she has a skin-tight outfit that is in fact … gloom, Sparkly gloom. It gives her protection against physical and energy attacks. She can fly using the gloom for propulsion, just not very fast.


Weakness:

The gloom is more effective at night or outside of the Sun’s light.

Following the leadership of Behemoth, Selene stopped using her powers to kill. Right up until Behemoth himself fell off that Wagon. Gleefully she resumed her brand of justice.

Personality: Flirtatious, Forthright, and unapologetic, Cynthia is a very what you see is what you get kind of person. Having regard for other people's feelings is something that she's learning to do, and she finds the concept of insults pretty funny as they don't affect her - she'd have to care about someone's opinion enough for that to matter - so she uses them often simply because she's amused by the reactions.​
History: Prince Seere is a minor duke, but one who had many dalliances with humans, in both male and female form, over the centuries. Though she calls Seere her father, it was one of those times where Seere deigned to be a female and seduce males that Seere got pregnant - previously when he'd tried to have half-human children, they'd always kill the female human which frustrated Seere.​
Seere lived as a human woman for about eight years after Cynthia's "Birth" so that she had all of the proper documentation and background that a human woman would have, but then was summoned back to Hell for a battle. He brought young Cynthia with him, but only for about two years before he found a couple to raise Cynthia as their own for a time.​
He returned for her when she was sixteen, and demanded she go back to Hell with him. She refused, even after he destroyed her 'parents' and several of her close friends to sever ties with the world 'above' for Cynthia. Surprised by her devotion, and actually impressed that she'd stand up to him and openly defy him - he thought her defiance was the most demon thing about her and he wants to encourage it - He let her stay in the above world, arranging for her recently dead adopted parents' estate to go to Cynthia to start her off.​
She uses as little of daddy's burn money, as she calls it, as possible, preferring to earn her money in jobs that are as mundane and human as possible - She drives for Instacart, Does mystery shopping, and is a part-time secretary.​
Powers:
Being a half-Succubus has a lot of advantages.​
Demonic Celerity: She has a speed far faster than any human and many supers, able to break the sound barrier on a good day if she pushes it but she rarely does, preferring to cruise at speeds that don't cause as many problems with interacting with the environment.​
Demonic Durability: She's utterly immune to fire in virtually any form, and has taken punches from demons able to rip cars in half with no more than a bloody lip to show for it. While she's not invulnerable, most mortal weapons less than anti-vehicle level not specifically designed to affect supers, are going to be able to be ignored. She hasn't gone up against a truly strong 'brick' type yet so it's unknown how badly that would damage her.​
Demonic Magic: Cynthia has access to demonic magics which include some limited divination, mentalism, and defensive magics but she only learned these while she was being raised by Seere, so at the oldest she was ten when she learned these so her command of them is tentative at best.​
Hellfire: This is her innate ability to call forth the fires of Hell. She tries to avoid pulling too hard on this because it is one of the uses of her abilities that Seere may take notice of, and she wants him out of her life. However, it burns hot enough to melt metal and disintigrate or melt some types of gemstones, so presumably it's at least 2000 degrees Farenheit. Typically if she just 'tosses a few fireballs' he won't notice, but if she were to torch a whole house he might.​
Succubus Charm: Her method of sustenance,outside of regular food - about half as much because she's half human - is sexual energy. Usually she hangs out at singles bars and takes a little from everyone there, ironically lowering the chances of anyone there getting lucky, or she'll take someone home and 'fill her tank' She can sense emotions at a dozen yards out, and manipulate the emotions and senses of others but only if it works toward her getting more sexual energy.​
Teleportation: Cynthia can take 'shortcuts' to teleport about the mortal world, with a range of a few miles, by disappearing, traveling through a passage from the mortal world to Hell, and back to the mortal world again. Time compresses in the passages so she can go a few miles in an instant, whereas in her own perception, the move takes several seconds to make the jaunt. The longer she stays in these passages, the more likely her father will notice her.​
Daddy Issues: She can always 'summon' her father because she knows his True Name, but things have to be really bad for her to resort to this, because his help isn't guaranteed not to have a cost greater than what she was calling him to resolve...​
Weapons: She has fangs, claws on hands and feet that are all retractable, and can extend a prehensile tail with a sharp spade tip. She doesn't really carry mortal weapons although she would probably be an amazing shot with firearms due to her dexterity.​
Equipment: Various internet connected things like computers, smartphones, tablets, etc, a red Honda FIT, and various 'tools of the sex trade' like bondage gear and 'toys'.​
Skills: Typing (at far faster than human levels), Investigation, Psychology (which she studies and tries to understand because her emotions aren't wired the same way), Criminology, Jeet Kune Do (blue belt), Tantric arts.​
What made them cross the line?: She's actually trying to cross the line back the other way, she doesn't quite 'get' the concept of morality and thinking of others first. She knows it in theory, but the application of having to care about people all the time is tiring for her. She wants to get to the point where caring is actually the default.​
