Cross Academy Reborn

Watching as the fellow vampire moved away from her, she noticed a few male humans coming up towards her. Backing away slowly, they started to come up to her asking her kinds of questions that made her uncomfortable. "You're very pretty, we could talk a little bit." Mizuki shook her head, still not liking the situation. Although she was fine with humans, recently being around male humans made her most uncomfortable because it brought back memories. Finally after moving away from them, she bumped into a strong over towering figure.

Looking up, she noticed that she had moved back into the older Pureblood sibling. Not wanting to be rude, she turned around and bowed her head to him as an apology, yet the human males still weren't going away. "Come on. We'll even buy you anything you want." Why weren't these humans leaving her alone after she had already told them no.

Almost as if natural for her, she grabbed onto the Pureblood's sleeve, tugging at it as if asking him to help her. She wasn't expecting anything from him, because she was doing this out of habit towards a male figure that she weirdly felt comfortable around. Just like the male from the common area, who was currently talking to some of the human females who were giving him gifts.

Akahana noticed the male guardian for the first time and she tilted her head, now confused. She'd never been allowed out of the house except for going to school this year, but she'd seen that boy before. The memory was vague and fuzzy, like it wasn't her own, but she had definitely seen him before. In her memories though, he was covered in blood and a few years younger. He lay cradling a woman in his lap before a dark figure appeared and obscured the scene.

Akahana blinked and shuddered a bit, it was a disturbing image and one that she wouldn't want to revisit. With the memory had come an almost overwhelming thirst and she squirmed uncomfortably. "Oniisama?" She questioned, "Could we just get to class? I'm becoming a bit uncomfortable with all of the humans here." Her eyes immediately flickered to Kaito and she shivered. The fact that she knew the boys name and had seen him covered in blood, but not why, disturbed her immensely.

Hajime/Saigo Ichijo
Walking up to the school gates of Cross Academy; a girl looking to be the age of 16, had her medium-length black hair tied up in two ponytails, wearing a night class uniform. Beside her, stood a boy that looked identical to her. Like all vampires, they looked stunning, but their complexion was slightly paler than most from having lack of sun. Although pale, it wasn't the type that made them look sickly and ill. Their skin had a healthy, luminescent glow, as if they were a ghostly figure. Gazing at the academy that coexisted with humans, their glowing, red and blue heterochromia eyes observed the school and the day class students that were wandering about. "Nii-san, this place..." She began, without looking at him.

"
Reeks of humans..." he finished her sentence in a monotone. Turning around to face him, she smiled at him and grabbed his hand to hold. "No matter, they smell sweet do they not?" she asked with a kind smile. Her brother grunted in response, knowing how his younger sister always had a way of speaking that made it sound like it was pleasant when the real meaning behind it was a lot darker than what it sounded to be. "It's a shame that another scent has overlapped that sweet smell," She stated, indicating that there were faint traces of level E's that she could sense, previously roaming around. Her brother silently nodded, also sensing that there were previously level E's that were in the academy. Standing near the gates, they had gained attention from the students that saw them and a few whispers about them traveled around. Ignoring the day classes gaze and rumors that were already being spread about them entering the school, they left their spot and walked into the academy.

After a few minutes, the two twins ended back at the front gates and sighed simultaneously. "
We're lost..." They said in unison. Bringing up their hands at the same time, they ran their hand through their hair and decided to just stay where they were. Despite being a vampire, their sense of direction was slightly poor. Though the cause of it was because of them not being able to go outside very often, they would most likely get used to it eventually. "What should we do now?" He asked his sister. "We wait until we find someone who will help us" She suggested optimistically. Without another word, they waited as the other students who passed by glanced at them and wondered why they were standing in one spot and if they were late transfers, considering that they were wearing the night class uniform.

Sayomi Shiki

Young vampire stared at the gift for a couple of moments. It was just one of many things he really should get used to if he wanted to move from his "black sheep" status. Not that he minded, but it always could be turned against him as that one weirdly mysterious bloodsucker. Small human gestures like that gift he got would probably make him look "normal" for some time at least. At his own surprise, it was incredibly tempting not to open it at that moment. His pale hand already hovered over the gift, making a perfect and somewhat ironic contrast with blood-red wrapping paper, and he even might have opened it before he... "Well, isn't she the lovely one?" She was referring to the shy human girl. Of course he was referring to her. Just like him. Just like... "I mean, her gift must be lovely.. Don't you think?... Young Master?" Oh he knew what he meant. Exactly what he said the first time. Exactly what he thought.
Instead of hostile hissing or dark glares, Sayomi nodded shortly and lightly, not bothering to look up. Provocations, only provocations. Only for him to loose it. Nothing more, just a matter of time. "Why not have some fun? Like you always did?" And there it was. God damn predictable. Unsurprising, but still inconvenient. There was no question about Adachi knowing his way to hitting the weak spots, but it was on Sayomi to handle it no matter what. "Polite my sorry batling backside!" He thought, but said nothing of it. He was far from being an angel. He knew it, and so did Adachi. He had his restlessly young moments and Adachi remembered it everything. All those human girls that for some reason pleaded to give blood. Young boiling blood from the necks covered in the most beautiful pale skin that could be found around. The beauties, the blood and his uncontrolled desire. All that made him the worst kind there is. Adachi knew. Scolding himself mentally for even looking back at the girl after the indecent mental image of bloodshed occupied his mind for a moment, he referred to Adachi.

"It was a long time ago." Sayomi mumbled to him in response as he gave up on opening the gift at that moment. "You know that." But that wouldn't do any good to prevent him from trying and Sayomi saved his breath. With him, Sayomi needed every piece of his patience he could save for dark days. Until he is able to sleep again. Sleep or create music. Safe from words and needs for explaining himself to anyone. At that point he somewhat missed August. The old and reliable August. That same old driver that went through so much and yet stayed faithful to him. Only he deserved to be missed. He indeed hoped he was fine even though he was away from that bloody family house of his every time Sayomi was away for a while. Just to make sure. But August was never afraid, he just went with the flow, making Sayomi happy. He looked up at Adachi and smiled in spite. Tonight just happened to be the night when he would be just fine. Old mistakes will never happen again as far as he is concerned. Never again.

A male with dark brown almost black hair walked towards the gates of the school. Cross Academy, A school divided into the day and night class. As the suns rays hit at him he yawned. Seriously, why did his father even send him here? He was much to normal for this school and dull in his own opinion and even the male, Kasuka Fukui, was well aware.

Slowly Kasuka walked into the school ignoring those stupid fan girls who admired the dear night class students and let out a sigh. This really was all wrong, he's not meant to be here! With his jet black day form uniform he pondered. He was also aware of the lurking vampires that were rumored to be here supposedly, and was he a firm believer yet also a slight skeptic. Kasuka scratched the back of his head. As girls of the day class small talked with him, most about the night class and he rolled his eyes."Whatever Suki, I could care less." He mumbled. Voice deep and slightly husky in a way yet not really."You're a day class student! If you think about it, you're the only hot one--Just as much as those in night class! It's just... Your personality. Dull Kasuka." Suki frowned. She was a dear friend of his but she was so annoying at times, and like Kasuka's father would tell him. Annoying people for the most part are the most selfless and kind people out there to care for others, and he was right about the talkative kinds.

Kasuka roamed the halls where there were glass windows and looked out. Some night classes were outside for today only probably and he couldn't help but stare blankly."Aren't they royal Kasuka!" Admired Tauki."Tsk. No." He blatantly said staring at her while still looking out the corridor windows. What was so good about them to the day class's besides looks? He saw nothing special about them based on sight and scratched the back of his head. It wasn't that he was jealous or anything, and he pondered. Looks seem to go rampant amongst cross academy. I mean, Kasuka was popular just as much as the night class was even based on looks for the day class, and he wondered if he was known to the night classes.. Probably.

"So, how's discipline committee?"
"Disciplinary committee." Corrected Kasuka.
"Oh whatever!" Suki stomped.
Kasuka chuckled."Other then that fine." He shrugged.

In frustration Suki stomped again."Can't you keep even one conversation longer then this without shaking people off!?" She sighed. Kasuka looked at her eyebrows raised."I mean, I technically am. You're still talking to me, I'm still responding. So, yes." He laughd slightly."Tsssk,Kaba!" She yelled. Kasuka looked at her with a surprised blank expression and slowly smiled, which surprised his friend Suki."You mean 'Baka'?" He asked. Suki realized she said 'Hippo' rather than 'Idiot' and immediately flushed red with embarrassment, as well as blush slightly. Speechless with Kasuka as usual, but who wouldn't be if you were this close to him? With that, Suki stormed off from all the feelings she felt towards Kasuka and Kasuka simply chuckled looking back out the window down at the herds of fan girls for the most part. Those who admired the night class.

His friend, Suki would be transferring out of this school soon anyways so he promised to try and be nicer to her -despite already being nice enough- and the male stand there watching.

Kaito, the young male nightguard tightened his arms against his chest, his muscles flexing and tensing reflexively when the male blood sucker made his rather condescending remark. He had understood full well what he meant. Back off, keep your mouth shut, and know your place. Kaito mentally cursed himself, all the more infuriated with the creature and the situation both.

These damned people were so willing and eager to fall for the lax charms and spells of these creatures, but he had seen what they really are. Monsters. Monsters that would enjoy nothing more than to drain them all dry and control every living thing under the moon. Bastards. Kaito turned his gaze to his partner just as she kicked him. "Ow! What are you, five?!" He shouted to her as his hand clutched his shin.

Shaking rhat off and deciding to ignore her judgmental bot not incorrect assessment of what he had been doing today, he looked to the many vampires that had gathered in the area. He couldn't find a single one he would trust to turn his back on. His eyes darkened and narrowed as he glanced at all of them and back to Adachi. If only he had the means...

Kurai

Kurai was ignoring the others, his attention focused on his sister as the Day class students give him his gifts before departing back into their group a distance aways. His attention though was pulled away by a girl tugging on his sleeve, blinking he looks down at the white haired Night student that seemed to be almost frightened of the human boys pestering her. Hmm now that was interesting, another vampire seeking protection from him? Almost laughable, that is for anyone that actually knew him. But for some reason he felt charitable today, so he decided to help the silent albeit beautiful lady. Taking a step forwards so he was inbetween her and the young men now, he folds his well muscled arms across his chest his aura fierce and dark, his piercing azure eyes staring down at the humans.

"I believe the lady told you no, you should really learn to take a hint, now back off or you'll get more than a hint." With those menacing and lethal words he cracks his knuckles, almost daring them to challenge him. They look up at his towering height fear showing clearly in their eyes as they gulp, quickly waving their hands in front of them they back up nearly stumbling over themselves apologizing and begging to forgive them. Satisfied the pathetic boys had enough common sense to stay away, Kurai turns toward Akahana that had spoken to him just now. Frowning he looks at her intently, she seemed stressed over something, was her hunger bothering her? Nodding he quickly walks over to his little sister, closing the distance easily with his long strides. He gently takes her small hand in his holding it his large hands nearly enveloping it.

He smiles down at Aka
reassuringly, the kind of smile he only gave her that seemed to make his eyes soften. "Your right little Aka, we should get to class, it wont do to be late on the first day, now would it?" His voice loses its edge for a more comforting and gentle tone. Looking to the others Night class students, he gives them a clear gesture with a nod of his head for them to follow and get to class as he starts walking down the cobblestone path.

Emi

Emi sighed in relief as the girls listened to Sayomi-san and backed off, giving her some room to breathe and not battle the horde of hormones. At Kaito's comment she cant help but giggle, turning to him she sticks her tongue out childishly before turning back to Sayomi who seemed to be conversing with another Night class student, one she hadnt met yet. Looking up at Sayomi she smiles gratefully "Thank you Sayomi-san, you really helped me there, these girls-and even boys get so out of control sometimes." Her voice is light and filled with gratitude, her multicolored eyes almost luminescent in the light of the setting sun. Turning slightly to the man in the hat(Adachi) she smiles politely at him, giving a quick bow not realizing the tension between him and Sayomi, before introducing herself. "Hello there, I'm Emi Kingyosou, a Day class student and a member of the Night Guard." Her voice is polite and friendly, a aura of gentleness coming from her.

Adachi
A smile was across his face, noticing how long it took for the Young Master to give him a simple reply. It was obviously an attempt to provoke him, but to also find a way to make things more interesting. Removing his hat from his head, he used his free hand to run his fingers through his brown hair, before gazing back at him, followed by him placing his treasured hat back on his head.

"It was a long time ago."

With a respond from the Young Master, a simple smirk came across his face, confirming that he reminded him about his gory past, though it did not take long before he continued.

"You know that."

However, this was expected by Adachi, he knew that no matter what, Sayomi would do everything in his power to not turn into something he used to be, back when an important person in his life died. Shifting his gaze over to the girl, who was now gone, he turned around, looking at the crowd, noticing every Vampire out there. "Well, that is true, Young Master, but you know.. You can never truly escape your shadow.." He mischievously responded, though he was far from finished.

"But, maybe I'll have some fun with her instead.." He indirectly threatened the Young Master, wondering what his reaction would actually be. A soft chuckle left his mouth, before the female Night guard approached them both, introducing herself to him. Adachi had to keep his little ruse intact, so he decided to respond.

"Hello there, Kingyosou-san.." He responded, notifying her at the same time that he knew about her, and what her name was. A smile came across his face as he gently bowed down and grasped her hand and kissed at the back it, like a gentleman.

After the kiss, he tilted his head upwards, looking at her with his emerald green eyes, before letting go of her hand and taking a few steps back. "I am formally known as Adachi of the Shiki family." He politely introduced himself, though before he could converse any further, he heard someone sing.

Turning his gaze towards the gates, the entrance, he noticed the same Aristocrat that glomped him the other day, the unknown assailant. He folded his hands behind his back as he listened.

The woman was vaguely familiar, but once he heard the name "KayTee" by one of the humans surrounding her, it reminded him. She was the Vampire who was the idol and a popular singer amongst the humans. 'Well, what do we have here...' He playfully thought to himself, before he started to walk down towards the classes. Seconds later, he stopped in his tracks, tilting his head, glancing at Sayomi, yet again, only to show him some respect by revealing something.

"Things aren't always as they seem, Young Master.." He gave him a little hint, though the rest was for him to deduce alone. He bowed down in respect towards both the Young Master and Kingyosou.

"I'd love to talk to you some other day, Kingyosou-san.." He waved his hand in the air, gesturing towards her, though his back was against her, as he disappeared into a pathway, leading to a small forest by the Cross Academy.

Hagewashi emerged from the dormitory dressed in his usual attire and walked past the crowd of vampires and humans. Glaring at the day students Hagewashi spoke to the vampires, "I would highly suggest we get to class..." Pushing his way past a group of boys Hagewashi stalked towards the classrooms.

Akahana gripped onto her brothers hand tightly when he took her own and she felt a bit better. His eyes were soft when he spoke to her and his hands were gently cupping hers. Leaning forward she put her weight into him for a moment and the familiar smell that always surrounded him enveloped her senses and made her feel much better. Her eyes looked up to her brothers and she gave a small smile. "I'm okay oniisama." She said, sensing a light hint of worry in his deep voice. "Let's just get to class."

Still holding his hand Akahana started down the long path towards the school, purposely avoiding looking towards the disciplinary committee, Kaito especially. A few yards into their walk however, Akahana felt herself receiving dirty looks and she looked about in confusion. They didn't seem to be glaring at anyone else, just Akahana herself. Almost imperceptibly she shrank closer to Kurai until she realized that he was the reason she was receiving glares and she almost laughed out loud. The day class actually thought that Kurai might be her boyfriend!

Akahana glanced up at her older brother, humor returning to her gaze. They obviously couldn't see the family resemblance, it was subtle after all. They had different builds and facial structures, Akahana resembled their mother and Kurai was the striking image of their father, but they had both received the cerulean blue eyes of their mother. Giggling Akahana nudged her brother lightly. How silly could humans get!

The walk continued that way, with eyes burning into Akahana as she refused to drop her brothers hand, it brought her comfort. When they arrived however and the door was closed after them Akahana gave a small laugh.
"Humans can be so silly!" She exclaimed, her eyes sparkling.

(OOC: First of, sorry about the delay, I am really busy with my finals these days ._.')

Sayomi Shiki

"Well, that is true, Young Master, but you know.. You can never truly escape your shadow.." Adachi kept talking, and Sayomi felt the chills of anger and facing the painful truth, running down his spine. Adachi's provocations hit a bit too close to home each time and as time went by, Sayomi was more positive that there is less chance to avoid anything radical. Minor mercy, it still wasn't all that bad. "But, maybe I'll have some fun with her instead.." Something snapped in Sayomi's mind and he turned violently to face Adachi, as if he was hit by a lightning. He growled at him under his breath, revealing his pearl white fangs for a moment. "If you DARE..." His reaction was interrupted by a girl guard that now went too close and would probably notice something was wrong. Emi was anything but stupid. That he knew. He hissed lightly and put on his poker face once more as he turned away, to look over the front yard.

He looked at his vampiric classmates and frowned lightly. Was it really possible for a bunch of humans to cause such fuss? Merely surprised, he looked away as one of the female vampires bothered Tsuchiya-sama. He never considered it pathetic, but it was more or less unnecessary. Strangely, his attention was now occupied by a small argument guards were having. Silly, silly humans. Sayomi paid attention to Kaito. He calmly studied the boys face and his stubborn and determined gaze that made Sayomi smirk for some reason. Indeed he would be lying if he hadn't say he at least heard about the boy. He was promised a lot in exchange of being a watch dog and a puppet. Such shame. But then again, Sayomi appreciated fighters. Taking it the easy way would be disappointing. That he knew very well.

For a moment, the vampire thought about Kaito's position. Indeed what vampires offered was more or less a good deal. As good as it gets with them. But even so, he couldn't help but wonder, why would "almighty" race abuse human so much for so long. Whatever the reason, being used and having no choice obviously took it's tool. Kaito's eyes were so many ages more serious than his actual self. Did he know what the fun was? How it is to be young? Was all that completely taken away from him just like that? And one more question was pretty useless to ask, but it came to vampires mind anyway. Is that why there is so much hatred in his heart? He already knew the answer.

"Thank you Sayomi-san, you really helped me there, these girls-and even boys get so out of control sometimes." Sayomi jerked lightly, and focused on Emi that now turned towards him. For a moment, he got lost and didn't know what to say. Nose, eyes, ears. In that order, just as a filthy and pathetic predator he was. And it hurt. His nose caught her sweet scent and it made him relax before he even realised it, as he returned her glare, amazed by her eyes. Strangest ones yet, indeed. Just then, as he snapped out of his mesmerised condition, did Sayomi nodded to her and smiled to Emi with a gentle bow of his head. "Hello there, I'm Emi Kingyosou, a Day class student and a member of the Night Guard." She said again and Sayomi frowned. Forgetting about Adachi that stood right there wasn't exactly what he had expected and it already made him quite uncomfortable. Lletting his guard down. Shameful.

All he could do is watch as Adachi tried to charm his way to Emi. He was disgusted by his deeds, knowing how many filthy and sinful things went in between those shameless vampiric lips, just so the would end up on such a flawless skin of the innocent. Awful. Disgusting. Suddenly, some kind of jealousy stormed through him and he clenched his fists discreetly. Even though their encounter lasted shorted than it seemed to him, he was already tired.
"Things aren't always as they seem, Young Master.." It echoed through his head a couple of times, before Adachi's face disappeared from sight. Sayomi was aware. He would indeed talk to the girl guard some other time. Some other time when he wasn't around. When they would be... His eyes darted to Kaito once more as he studies his firm serious face.

He didn't say anything as Hagewashi stepped out and suggested that they move. He sighed and forced himself to smile to Emi and Kaito.
"Excuse me." Was all he said, before he turned around and followed the group. Jealousy. Deadly jealousy for no obvious reason. And it was killing him. As he walked away, the thought that lurked unfinished in his mind, found it's end and occurred to him when his will to do so was sleeping. It was there and it was obvious. He would talk to her... When they're are all alone.

Mizuki was grateful for the older vampires help from the human males that kept bothering her. Bowing her head to him as a thank you, she watched as he walked off to be closer to his sister. She couldn't help thinking that he had a slight little sister complex, which would explain why he doesn't leave her side too often. Silently laughing to herself, a smile showing on her lips. Fixing her uniform, Mizuki continued to walk towards the school building until she entered inside, where she made her way to the classroom. As far as she knew all they were learning about were ways to live among humans and still satisfy their hunger without causing a ruckus.

Taking a hold of the door knob of the classroom, she opened it to see the siblings inside the room. Walking passed them, she went up to the back of the class and placed her bag upon the desk to pull out a murder mystery book to read.
