  Welcome to the "Cries of Injustice" RP OOC and Signups!
  
  This RP allows you to select whether or not you are a hero or a villain, and will require you to keep track of your stats. This is also an RP that requires a 'Roll the Dice' function, which means a situation can go either way depending on what happens to your character.
  
  For instance, if they are fighting a monster, I will roll for your character and the monster to see how well your character did something. Your character rolls a 5 to add to your 25 speed, and you need 30 to get away, then you will successfully run away from the monster. Or, if you roll a 0, your character will trip and fall flat on their face. Anything above, depending on the stats, will give you a chance to make a recovery.

  The rise in crime has been drastically increasing, and with the monsters coming to rampage the cities, the citizens are beginning to lose hope. Corruption amongst businesses and secret organizations forming to ensure they get their way, it was only a matter of time before the governments fell and everyone became slaves to the villains.
  
  An organization formed 10 years ago, kept in secret and away from the public eye to keep from becoming targets. Some rumor that these people were high tech geniuses of the government who formed to keep Justice among the country. Others believe these were tech savvy teenagers who want to help the heroes stop monsters and bad guys. No one knows for sure who they are, but without them, the heroes wouldn't be able to do their job.
  
  Superhumans from many different backgrounds who passed their test have been contacted by this secret group, and only after a conversation with them did the informers select the competent heroes to help the cities. And ever since this teamwork of heroes and the informers, crime went down drastically.
  
  However, another underground organization is rising. Not even the informers know who they are, what they want, or how to stop them. Each passing day they grow stronger right under the heroes' and the villains' noses. With these old and new monsters popping up left and right, with experiments and hybrids even being thrown into the mix, it was only a matter of time before these people revealed themselves and call an all out war on the rest of humanity.

  The more populated the area, the more likely something is to happen in said city. If all heroes live in the main cities, then more than likely the minor cities will fall and the citizens will not be happy with you.

  Heroes will be responsible for protecting the cities as best as they can. They will be given a special phone, and from there they will receive information about an attack occurring in some location. There will be a dice roll about how much information will be given to the heroes, because sometimes the providers will not know that much either.
  
  A hero can ignore a call from the informers, though they will gain a little bit of infamy, which will make that hero seen in a negative light with the civilians.
  
  Heroes will also be able to talk to the press if you don't leave the scene on time (or if you choose to stay). They will ask you different questions, and depending on your charisma skills, you can embarrass yourself or charm the public with your heroic act of heroism. By checking the internet (computer, library computer, cell phone, etc.), you can see what the citizens are saying about you.

  Villains are responsible for creating havoc on the cities and/or fighting a monster if they become an inconvenience. The more infamous you are with the public, the more you will be feared by the civilians and maybe other villains (if the creator decides to make it that way).
  
  Unlike heroes, you won't receive information about monsters or trouble in the city. Since you will most likely be the cause of it. If you have a high enough intelligence or proper connections, you will be able to tap the calls and find out which hero will be where.
  
  Villains will also need good charisma skill to negotiate. Their infamy stat will also come into play when speaking to someone like the mayor or a big business leader. If the person of power is not afraid of your villain, and their charisma sucks, they will most likely leave with nothing.

  3. No Godmodding your characters
  4. No Mary Sues/Gary Stus
  5. You will be allowed to have one major power. (For example, I choose Fire manipulation. All of my character's attacks will have to be fire based) If you are unsure, please feel free to ask.
  6. Depending on how far your character is away from the city, you will have to skip a certain amount of posts. Which means if a hero is 6 miles away, the player will have to wait three posts until they can arrive (depending on stats). I (and maybe a Co-GM) will post about the destruction the monster created while the heroes were arriving.
  7. Relationships, friendships, rivalries, and nemeses are strongly encouraged.
  8. Do not kill a character unless given permission.

  Both heroes and villains will be required to train if they want to be harder to defeat. But please keep in mind that your character may be exhausted by the end of the day, and won't be able to do exercises. The more time spent on the exercises, and the more energy your character has when they start, the more effective they will be. If they are exhausted when they start, they will receive a lot less benefits.

  All heroes have their own qualities and flaws that make them human and superhuman. You can only select up to 3 perks, but if you select 3, you will have to select 3 flaws. Same with 2 perks/2 flaws and 1 perk/1 flaw.
  
  Please put down your perks and flaws in the character sheet so I can keep track.

Abilities:
Partial Bestial Shape Shifting - She can shift so that she has attributes of an animal but not in full form. She can also mix attributes of animals. Like she can have the horns of a ram and the camouflage capabilities of a leopard.
Zoolingualism - In her bestial form she can talk to and understand animals.
Weapons: N/A
Equipment/Technology: N/A

Weaknesses:

• Full Bestial Shape Shifting can only last for two hours. If she stays in a form for too long, she will theoretically get stuck and forget her humanity and adopt the identity of an animal. She has to take 3 minute break between shifts. She cannot shift into reptiles or fish, nor can she shift into a younger age than she is. (So she wouldn't be able to shift into a puppy because she isn't a child).
• Partial Bestial Shape Shifting is very strenuous and only last for 20 minutes.
• Zoolingualism does not work on newborn animals, fish or reptiles.
• Bullets, projectiles, bombs. In animal form she is just as strong as the animal she is at the moment, so a tranquilizer would take her down.

Mental/Emotional Weaknesses:

• She has anger issues and it's hard to calm her down. She sees a therapist and is trying to work on not shifting into larger animals and going on rampages when the enemy annoys her too much or she has a bad day.
• She has a hard time attacking villains that resemble children (or are children).

Major Power: Bubble Manipulation
Abilities:
Bubble generation
The ability to produce bubbles from suitable liquids such as soap, soda, water, alcohol, blood and milk. He can use these bubbles as projectiles to attack his enemies. He can also use these bubbles to mimic the actions of flying, although he can't do it for very long or go over 20 feet.
Size and Density Manipulation
The ability to manipulate the weight, height, circumference and hardness or softness of said bubbles.
Encapsulation
The ability to close himself or his enemies in bubbles of varying size and strength. He can use these bubbles to protect himself against attacks or trap weaker enemies. These bubbles are only temporary, as they have a limited amount of oxygen and once the oxygen runs out the bubble pops.
Weapons: He wears armored gauntlets that he uses in hand to hand combat. The strength of the gauntlet's is that of a steel pipe.
Equipment/Technology: His gauntlets and sports glasses.
Weaknesses:

• Despite the use of his gauntlet's, he isn't a hand to hand opponent and can be beaten fairly easily by a skilled opponent. He is more of a 'attack from afar or in the air' opponent.
• The strongest density he can apply to his bubbles is that of a steel.
• He can protect himself against most elements by encapsulating himself however excessive use of an element will destroy or melt the bubble.
• His bubbles have limited oxygen and will pop when the oxygen runs out.

Mental/Emotional Weaknesses:

• He's terrified of complete darkness.
• He's weak to hot guys.
• He trusts too easily and can be naive.

Elaine comes off as a very personable and mysterious woman. Given that she has access to things most villains don't, she must keep herself and anyone she affiliates with confidential. She, though she does not seem it, enjoys helping her comrades and, depending how useful they are, would be willing to do what she had to to keep them out of prison.

She also enjoys stirring things up about the superhero community, and she will often encourage people to think a certain way about a particular hero without directly stating it or giving away her identity. If a hero loses popularity, it would most likely be because of her.

Costume/Description:
Gideon doesn't wear any special costume, preferring to fight, essentially, in his street clothes. The only thing he does for a costume is wear protective plating along his arms and legs and wear a pair of stylish goggles to hide his distinctive eye color.

The Good Stuff

Major Power: Gravity Manipulation
Abilities:
Mass Manipulation - changes the intensity of gravity around his swords and shield, allowing him to swing it as if it were much smaller and lighter, and reverting it to normal the moment before impact. ( i. e. the sword is about 3 pounds when being swung, and right before it hits the opponent becomes 10 times heavier)

White Hole Blast - creates a "white hole" that repulses all matter away from Gideon around him.

Graviton Crush - Creates massive downforce, crushing objects and pinning those who can withstand the pressure to the ground.

Updraft - reverse the effect of Graviton Crush, generating antigravity to cause things, and people, to levitate.

Lights Out - Can suck the light from an area into a ball, making the area a blacked out arena.

Weapons:
Carries a sword called Breaker, which is actually two swords - a claymore and longsword - that interlock on one edge. The swords are blunted, and weigh upwards of 300 lbs together. Most of his fighting style revolves around it.

Equipment/Technology:
Wears high durability plate armor along his extremities. Carries a shield and gauntlet collectively called Gram that can block small arms fire.

The Important Stuff

Weaknesses:
If his concentration is broken enough, he is no longer immune to his own powers.

Because his powers require focus, if he is attacked by a surprise attack, he is defenseless.

As durable as a normal human.

Using multiple powers at the same time or using higher tier skills such as the Graviton Crush can easily wear him out.

Mental/Emotional Weaknesses:
Gideon is so cocky, when he is beaten, it can take him an astoundingly long time to get over the loss.

Most of his students are in the preteen-teen age range, so he has trouble fighting villains in that age group.

Because White Hole Blast is focused on his own body, if he loses his focus, the technique can tear him apart on a molecular level. He is terrified of using it because it's almost happened once before.

The personal Stuff

Personality:
Gideon is carefree and happy most of the time. He tries to keep his mind as empty as possible at all times so that he can become focused easily at a moment's notice. Generally, he's rather caring, particularly to his students, and takes great pride in his skills. Unfortunately, that pride can become a hindrance when he fails, and it's incredibly hard for him to internalize his losses and recover from them, compared to others.

Has a small coal forge at his home, and spends most of the money from his sword fighting classes on materials and fuel for it. As he puts it, "Coke may be cheap, but high carbon steel isn't."

  She can create and use crystals as if they were a natural extension of herself, can be used as shielding that can be as tough as diamonds and as sharp as an obsidian blade.

Major Power:
Shadow Manipulation - Graham is able to manipulate shadows around him, including his own, to create constructs.

Abilities:
Shadow Clone - Graham uses shadows to make a copy of himself to fight with. The strength of the shadow clone is slightly higher than his own. Can make up to 3 clones.

Shadow strike - turns a shadow into a small murder of crows to attack for him. Crows disappear when they successfully attack someone.

Darkstar - Signature move, generates a dome of dark energy that blocks out 80% of an area's light, making his powers stronger by giving him more options.

Shadow step - Graham can blend into the shadows and teleport short distances by focusing on a location. Has a max distance of 2 miles.

Weapons:

Weaknesses:
Because Graham controls shadows and not darkness proper, without a source of light, Graham is powerless.

Though he refuses to admit it, Graham is scared of his sister being hurt. When he feels she is in danger, he goes into a berserk rage that is very dangerous to those around him.

Graham feels inferior to his brother, and is constantly trying to prove himself to be the strongest of the Pridebornes.

As much as they fight, he looks up to his brother, though due to his cocky nature, he doesn't so much admire him as see him as an obstacle to surpass. Because of this, he often picks fights whenever he can, to the point of obsession.

Habits/Quirks:

Usually listens to music with a heavy baseline while fighting, with the clones attacking in rhythm with the music he hears. This can make them somewhat unpredictable if the opponent doesn't know about the quirk.

  DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: Always has flies and other vermins swarming around him. His mouth has become like of a shark and his worms spill out of it, thats why he had to use the gasmask.
  COSTUME/DESCRIPTION: Besides of his gasmask, Steve didnt have a costume, he uses whatever clothes he can find or steal, usually black hooded jackets or sweaters to keep his face hidden.

• MAJOR POWER: Regeneration, the worms that live in him regenerate his body at an amazing rate and even let him reattach missing body parts even if they arent his.
  ABILITIES: Bloodflies. Some of the worms in his body become bloodflies and Steve control them, the bloodflies swarm around the victims stinging them and sucking the blood. The wounds get infected and sometimes the bloodflies even lay eggs on the wounds. If the wound isnt treated the eggs become worms and the victim will be eaten by the worms.
• Acid Spittle. Steve can spit a stream of acid that burns any organic tissue.
• Bloodworms. Worms can be expelled from Steve's mouth, the worms then will seek another host burrowing through clothes, shoes, etc.
• Inhuman Strength. Steve looks sick and emaciated but he's very strong, able to lift a car over his head with ease.
• WEAPONS: None.
• EQUIPMENT/TECHNOLOGY: None.
• WEAKNESSES: Fire. The worms and Steve's body are highly combustible, as soon as the fire caught them isnt easly put down. And since the worms cant heal burnt wounds, Steve try to stay away from any fire source.
  • If Steve body its too damaged the worms will start to eat at him instead of healing. Too much damage and the worms will devour him.
  • Steve isnt a skilled fighter or weapon user.
  • MENTAL/EMOTIONAL WEAKNESSES: Since his infection with the worms Steve has seen how he has lost some of the few humanity that he still had. Because of that, from time to time he tries to avoid killing his victims, but hes doing it less and less.
