The idea of knowing the future has fascinated humanity for a long time. We read palms, clouds, and tea leaves, we look for signs in dead birds and broken mirrors and rain, and whether they have basis or not, it usually gives people a sense of stability if they think they know what to expect from the future.

For this challenge, create a holiday that is based around telling, seeing, or otherwise interacting with the future! The future-seeing doesn't have to be accurate or even authentic; it can be a fortune-telling festival, or a day when (perhaps annual) disasters are prepared for. It could be to do with time-travel, or for predicting and preparing for deaths, or there could be no actual looking into the future, and it's just a day of general contemplation and preparation. If your culture is involved in a war 99% of the time, this holiday could even have tactical uses! So long as the theme of "The Future" is apparent, anything goes.
