Creating a good one x one thread??

I want to create a super good one x one thread. I was never able to make a great thread which caused people not to ask me to role-play or want to role-play with me.. so I need help on how to make a good one x one thread :( (and I looked on a thread maker thing on here and it didn't help much..)
