History: Shin is a child who has had to age beyond his years. He is a child soldier in the army of his homeland. A few months prior, the country was torn apart from a civil war between the government and a large group of dissenters. His father worked for the government and died in the action. His mother has abandoned him and his sister. The government is pulling out all the stops in an effort to put down the rebellion, and has drafted every boy as young as 16 for their army. Shin received the threat that his sister would be killed if he did not take up arms for the government, and so he fights. At night he is haunted by the deaths he has wrought, but cannot show a worried face in front of his young sibling. And so he is silent, keeping all of his worry to himself. He dreams of a day when he can put down the gun he has been ordered to carry, and hopes his sister can stay healthy and innocent through it all. He has one good friend, the same age, that has also become a soldier. His friend and his sister together are Shin's motivation to keep going.
Current Goal/Purpose: To get through the war and keep his sister safe.
Appearance: Shin always looked a little bit like a baby deer. All limbs. He has always has a very lean frame, made worse by malnutrition over the recent months. He is Japanese, with the typical genetics. Black hair, and a short stature.
