Hello :3
I listened your cover and i do liked your tone especially because i found it expressive. Your high tones sounded good to me. I'm not a singer or musician so my opinion is just based on what i felt :) Keep doing what you really like .thats really nice to know that you have already two passions ( writing and singing :3)

You have quite a voice! You took those higher notes very well. If I may give a tad bit of constructive criticism.. It's natural to kinda shy away from the high-high notes, but you don't want to do that. It can make the note sound.. squeaky and nasally. I know it's also kind of instinctive to do when you're singing (directly) into a microphone/headset. Rather what you want to do open your throat. Sounds weird I know. You know when you go to the doctor and they look at your throat and they ask you to flatten/lower your tongue in the back so they can see? That's what you want to do. Then, higher notes require more air. More open mouth/throat + more air = fantastic high note. Good job by the way. =3

Can I just say how much I love your notes? Your voice is gorgeous. As stated above, you handled the high notes extremely well. I think there was one point where you could hear a bit of strain in your voice, which can be alleviated by opening the back of the throat, but other than that it was extremely good. Also, there were a few odd intonations but nothing major. This is a really good cover. You have a strong voice. Keep singing! :)

Yeah XD that was the 12th or so time recording the song lol I'm almost a perfectionist when it comes to music. I plan on definitely using these tips next time around, which I hope is soon XD

Thank you!! ^_^

Here's the latest one I've done! It's an American folk song called "The Lass From the Low Countree" by Jacob Niles. I did the song for competition choir back in high school and have always loved it! However, I'm not as good as I was in high school XD So I know I didn't do the song much justice lol

Feel free to comment/criticize as much or as harshly as you want, that's all apart of putting yourself out there XD

Anyway! Here it is:

I love classical/folk music! I have been in choir for almost three years now, and we sing a lot of music like this. You did a beautiful job. You had clear diction and a balanced tone. Honestly, it gave me chills. What is the background of that song? It sounds a lot like a Scottish folk song.

Anyways, great job! Can't wait to hear more. :)

Thank you! I've always loved singing more classically based songs. As for the background music? I couldn't say :/ I'm actually thinking of covering a Scottish Folk Song, "Loch Lomond" I sang it in middle school and fell in love with it <3
