I had this scene enter my mind and I want to create a roleplay from it. I don't know what would happen after this scene, so I would love some input on what we could do and what can happen!

The fledgling town was young and still, signs of the industrial era beginning to take root. Many began their trek back to their homes, a long day of work having taken their energy and leaving them tired. Lamp posts began to light up, illuminating the streets in unwavering orange light, like the stars had come down to earth to bless the buildings with their light. A mother living within an apartment complex softly opened the door to her shared bedroom, carefully cradling a bundle of blankets that contained equal parts exhaustion and joy. The young child had finally been soothed into sleepiness, and it snuggled close to its mother until it was gently lowered into its bed. The mother hummed a sweet lullaby as she placed a delicate kiss on the infants head, pulling the blankets over its frail form before quietly climbing into her own bed. The two were alone for now, a husband having chosen to work overtime into the night.

The child's eyes began to flutter as it laid in its bedding, but the curtains soon caught its attention. It saw something as the window silently opened, and something came crawling through. Not down onto the floor, but upwards towards the ceiling. The baby began to coo as it reached up towards the shadowy figure that peered down at it from the ceiling. It tilted its head, and the child flailed its little arms in an attempt to bring the visitor to it. After a moment, it climbed down with fluid grace, stalking towards the bed and peering down at the child. A mane of twisting cosmos faintly illuminated the top of it's head and danced outwards up in the air, and when the child looked over to the side it saw the twisting galaxy that swirled within its oddly shaped rib cage. Gentle lights of blues, greens and violets faintly shone through the holes in its chest, and the infant couldn't help but reach out in innocent wonder.

The creature gave a quiet, but surprised chirp and stepped away before the child's fingers could reach it. The infant gave a soft wail, reaching and kicking for the pretty lights that were captured in its eyes. The mother stirred, and the creature looked over, only to sigh in relief when she slipped back into sleep. It looked back over to the baby once more, and with caution it reached a hand into the child's bed. Slender fingers were equipped with curled claws, looking no different from the clawed hands of an eastern dragon. However, their claws retracted as the baby reached out and grabbed onto it, pulling it close to their chest and lightly teething on a few fingers. The creature couldn't help but emit a soft, chuckle-like sound as it settled itself. Its wings tucked behind it as another hand held onto the railing of the bed, and two other hands held onto the bottom. The offspring's hands were so soft against its velvety skin, and the gentle rise and fall of its chest was soothing...

Three long tails curled around its clawed feet as it watched the child with affection, until he heard the mother begin to stir once more. With alarm it looked at her, and it was certain this time she would awaken. It looked down to the child, and carefully slid its hand out of the infant's grip. It gave a louder wail this time, reaching towards its friend in a plea. It shook its head, and with haste it crawled towards the window and took flight into the night. The loss made the young child cry loudly, prompting its mother to wake with a start. She swiftly climbed out of bed and picked up her offspring, hushing and soothing it as she looked towards the window, the curtains softly fluttering with the breeze.
