~~~~~
It been a month now. An entire month. Dylan couldn't believe it. It seemed just yesterday she was here following him, being the adorable little sister she was. Dylan found he brutally killed when he came home from school. She was stabbed to death. Multiple stab wounds on her chest and one deep slash across her throat. It was so deep she was nearly decapitated. The horrible flash back came to him as he walked towards out the door in the kitchen. He stared at the spot her body was at. Now there was just a big white spot. He grit his teeth an had to look away. He grabbed the knob of the door and yelled, "I'm leaving for school." and with that he left. Luckily school wasn't that far. He always just walked to school. He still couldn't believe the cops haven't found the killer. He completely lost faith in the cops.
Name: Blake Miranda Torres
Age: 17
Height: 5'11"
Personality: Relentless and shrewd in every sense of the word, Blake is the epitome of pure arrogance. She is what people normally would refer to as the "wild child" simply for her unyielding demeanor and there's never a time when she isn't going out of her way to show just how unforgettable she is.
Name: Garrett Pierce
Age: 18
Height: 6'1"
Personality: Garrett is what most people consider rough around the edges type of guy who cannot seem to quite get along with others as much as he could. Harsh and impulsive beyond basic human comprehension, he isn't exactly someone easy to approach, no matter how tempting it is to go and bother him. On the other hand, he is less cynical when it comes to animals. Something about these feral creatures remind him of home.
A satisfied sigh of relief left Blake's glossy pink lips as she carefully pulled up into the school's grand student parking lot and immediately killed off the engine. She sat back comfortable in her leather seat and turned to face the man seated to her right. "We're here." Reaching to twist the key out of its place in the keyhole, she yanked it out and stuffed it carefully in the pockets of her denim shorts. "Now get out of my car." Her voice lowered to a hushed whisper, almost audible, but anyone who knew her enough could easily detect the humor in her words -- no matter how offensive or incredibly rude she'd come off. And there was no one else who knew her better than Garrett Pierce, her so-called best friend.
The corners of his mouth twitched slightly, but the mischievous glint in his eyes remained intact no matter how hard it was for him to contain the rage bubbling inside of him. There was no way in hell was he going to risk being charged with domestic violence just because he so happened to "slip" up and accidentally smack the living fuck out of this foolish brat. Instead, he took a sharp intake of breath and masked his irritation with a sigh. "Your wish is my command, princess." Reaching for the handle, he roughly pushed his way out of the vehicle and locked the door shut behind him with so much more force than intended that it nearly made Blake jump in sheer surprise. Climbing out herself, she whipped her head over to his direction and glared hard. "What the hell, asshole?!"
The brute merely shrugged in indifference, not even bothering to apologize for his aberration and without having any intentions of arguing with the shorter female so early in the morning, he turned on his heels and headed into the school building -- purposely slowing his strides to allow his 'lovely' companion to catch up, in spite of his better judgement of leaving her behind.
When he reached the school the first thing that catches his eye was Blake and Garrett they were doing their usual thing and yelling at each other. He got along with them pretty well, which is surprising because they don't really get along with anyone. He actually had quit a bit of friends however after his sister died the majority of his 'friends' basically left him not supporting him at all. At least a few managed to stay by his side. He shrugged though and continued after they went into the school. Shortly after he went in ad headed straight for his locker. He did the combination ad opened his locker.
"Wait for me!" Blake hollered girlishly from the distance as Garrett's retreating form grew smaller and smaller with each step he took. Grabbing her favorite purse laying on the backseat, she quickly slammed the car door behind her shut and followed after the brute's trail. An unexpectedly strong burst of wind lashed into her fragile body, causing the pink-haired female to grit her teeth in annoyance as a wave of shiver ran down her sensitive spine. Grumbling a low 'fuck this weather' under her breath, she yanked at the collar of her coat closer to prevent the chill from invading her neck -- which she noticed was as cold as ice. "!" Though no matter her efforts, the fresh dose of wind continued to pummel down on her.
Garrett glanced over his shoulder just in time to catch Blake struggling to endure the frigid weather, immediately turning back around to conceal the amusement dancing in his eyes and stifling the laugh that threatened to come out at any moment. There was no way he would risk a nice, peaceful time for himself (which he had rarely gotten due to a certain pink-haired demon) by angering said pink-haired demon and provoking her into involving him to yet another 'heated' argument with her. "Aye, I told you to wait, didn't I?" Blake barked irritatedly when she finally reached his side and feel into step with him. She huffed and pulled her purse closer to her chest, anticipating the moment warmth enveloped her freezing body in a relaxing embrace and when it did, she couldn't help but to let out a loud sigh of relief. Her companion merely rolled his eyes. "You should have thought twice before slipping into those pairs of skimpy shorts, no wonder your ass was freezing," Garrett mused, his eyes scanning her entire frame. "You look like a weather-confused whore." The look of horror plastered on her face was enough to suffice Garrett's need for entertainment that morning and before she had the chance to spit another remark, once again, he turned his back to her and headed for his locker.
That was when he noticed another familiar figure standing not even a little ways away from them, fiddling with his locker combination and alone in his own little world. ". . . ." Craning his neck to give Blake one last glance, Garrett looked both ways before heading over to Dylan. Instantly he took on a look of genuine sympathy, though nothing sort of pity or dejection. The last thing Dylan needed after a tragic loss of his younger sister was someone else trying to act as if they understood what he was going through when they actually didn't. "Morning," he greeted sheepishly, giving his friend a light squeeze on the shoulder.
Dylan lost his train of thought when someone actually said 'Morning' to him. As soon as he turned around he looked a little surprised about the sympathetic look he was giving to him. As usual Dylan faked a smile. He hasn't been able to actually smile for real for a while now, "Morning man." even though his smile looked real his dark indigo colored eyes told a different story.
