Join Kiragasaki High's Occult Investigation Team!

Kiragasaki High School is far from a prestigious school. Located in a small town in Japan, it may not have the best curriculum and produce the best students. However, Kiragasaki High does have an extensive amount of clubs and circles open to the students of the school. One such club is a small and often forgotten club. The Occult Investigation Team. The club was established a few years back. Back then, though, there was just one member. It wasn't even promoted to a club until just this year. The small circle finally achieved the six member requirement to be considered a club. What caused the sudden influx of Paranormal Investigators?

In the town a strange string of accidents have occurred. Officials and sceptics are just saying it is a coincidence, but there are a few who truly believe that something is going on. Now that the small circle is officially a club, they have more benefits at the school, allowing for better equipment, though that is still a difficult thing to acquire. Even so, the club has everything it needs to function and investigate the paranormal and occult.

This RP will have some graphic depictions of gore when it applies. However I did not make it as this is not that common. In any case this is more focused on romance and investigation than anything. But yes. Sometimes it will be dramatic, sometimes funny, and occasionally scary.

Rules

1) No excessive language. The occasional curse for effect now and then, is fine, just don't be swearing like a sailor
2) If things get hot'n heavy take it to a private place, or fade to black.
3) Write at least one decently sized paragraph when not in a conversation. But write as much as you'd like. Naaaaah! that boring!!!
4) When in doubt refer to me. I am not a hardass, so you should be just fine.
5) Ask me questions when needed!!! I will answer them

Kiyomi is highly intelligent and relatively proficient in physical activity. On the other hand, she's incredibly lazy and devotes the majority of her spare time to feeding her otaku tendencies. She adopts a persona while in public to prevent people from finding out about her social status, however it is built mainly upon the shows she watches, so is exaggerated beyond the norm. She originally joined the occult club to research for a story she was writing, but stuck around after she developed an interest in the occult.

Personality: Shiro is always hyper and suffers from mild chuunibyou. She has an obsession with Japanese and German folklores, and despite thinking these two definitely are real, she thinks that every other folklore, legend or religious belief is a delusion. She's tiring to be around but very likeable, even if she doesn't like you back. She's been part of the club since the very first year, even though she doesn't actually attend the school. Nobody seems to have a problem with it though.

Personality: Kenji, in contrast to his slight appearance, carries the attitude of a delinquent, which is heavily reinforced by his Kansai dialect. Kenji is loud and brash, not afraid to speak his mind. He is dismissive of things he does not understand, and argumentative to a point. On the other hand, he is overprotective of people he considers his friends. It's becoming his friend that's the hard part. He has been obsessed with paranormal things after his close cousin died several years ago, and formed the club because of his obsession.

Personality: You will be absolutely and truly incredibly hard pressed to find a student in the school who gives less fucks. Shuichiro goes about in life expending the minimum amount of effort required to not appear to be a slacker. He is smart, but also incredibly lazy, taking as many shortcuts as possible with his schoolwork. Shuichiro tends to enjoy teasing, snarking, and goading people on just to watch their reactions. This helps alleviate the boredom that seems to permeate his existence; he gets bored a lot. He also likes to stick to the background, letting other people get into messes and then choosing not to clean up afterward. His reason for joining the Occult Investigation Team? "It should be fun to watch."

Personality: In a few words, Ryo is friendly, cheerful, intelligent, greedy and very easily bored. He was born to a normal family in a normal neighborhood, with nothing especially interesting to speak of, and since he was young this has bored him to tears. He seeks out any opportunity to make life a bit more interesting, which is why he joined the club in the first place: If something occult was really happening, he intended to be a part of it, or at least watch. Though quite clever, he finds schoolwork intensely boring and rarely keeps up with it, which is why he was held back a year (that and his habit of cheating on tests). When he finds something that actually does interest him, though, he can be amazingly focused, which shows in his mastery of parkour and martial arts.

Personality: Satchai is a girl that was brought up a bit strangely. She lives with her grandparents, who are a bit weird and leave her up to her own devices. This is where her fascination with blunt weaponry sprouted from - excess watching of action-oriented anime. She grew up wanting to be the hero in someone's life, and decided on her very first day of high school that Ozawa Kenji was the person she'd be just that for. It was a random selection at first, but over the course of three years in high school, she began to develop feelings for Kenji that are now a bit inseparable. She's a yandere, and isn't afraid to show it, sometimes with hilarious (or scary) results. She's also a very indecisive person, and is a bit of a slacker when it comes to her duties as a secretary. She wears a masculine outfit to correspond with the feminine appearance of Kenji, though he seems to be too obsessed with the paranormal to notice her small efforts. Like most of the members in the group, she has a profound belief in the supernatural, and even believes there are ghosts living in her room (that she's engaged in combat with using a lamp). She can be a good friend, if only a bit, or very confusing.

Personality: Timid in social situations involving others his age, but extremely comfortable with speaking to his elders Yuuki describes himself as the reluctant member of the Occult Club. He grew up in a traditional household, leading to his preference for traditional clothing. His family is known for owning and running the Kiragasaki Shrine on the northern edge of town, and this is how he found himself pulled into the Occult Club. His upbringing has allowed for Yuuki to embrace the occult as a normal part of life, so much so that anything out of the ordinary doesn't shock him as much as it might others. He works at the family shrine after all, so it's expected for paranormal occurrences to happen. His grandfather is grooming him to take over as the shrine priest once he graduates high school, so along with his school studies he has a lot more to study as well. Yuuki enjoys his extra-curricular studies enough to help out with making tokens and charms for the members of the club, should they run into any malevolent spirits. He cares about his club members, even if he can't verbalize it very well to them.

Personality: She's a shy person at first but as you get to know her she's silly and maybe even a bit ditzy most of the time. Though, other times she can suprise you by saying really deep and reflective things. Since she doesn't talk to many people she has lot's of time to think about herself, others and the world around her and she isn't afraid to share it. Though she isn't the secratary she keeps her own little personal record of the clubs activity simply because she loves writing- even if she's just describing what happened five minutes ago on paper. Art is something she's passionate about from music to painting to literature. She's often writing sheet music (she can hear it in her head but she can't play anything besides the piano) in her spare time.

I noticed that with Avabel making one or 2 ccharacters we already have all the people we need :D Well, I nominate that the president posts first, so if Avabel gets her character(s) up before I get chance to make an IC, then Condor feel free to start the IC yourself.

I knew someone would make a shrine priest. Well actually I expected a shrine priestess, but same thing.

I figure either the pres or vice pres should be the one to start it of, at the point of the Student Council President giving the notification that the club registration form has been accepted.

Well, I don't have any problem with that. Since no one's officially in charge of this RP anymore though, others have the right to make complaints.
 
Kenji's speech is really difficult to read :D. Must be even harder to write.
