Welcome to The City of Grand Doma, The Magical Capital of the world. Here being born without magic is extremely rare, and magic has been heavily integrated into modern life. You are a gifted, a person granted with supreme magical energy. You have been commissioned by the government to join a team focused on combating other gifted who have turned to crime. You will face overwhelming odds and death defying situations, all for the sake of innocent lives.

Recently, a terrorist group known as the "Advent" have been terrorizing the city with so called acts of liberation. They've been targetting the city's magical industry that are responsible for nation's magical advancements. They have claimed that said industry is practising unethical and immoral actvities that are a threat to society itself. Despite law enforcement's best efforts, they have been unable to pinpoint their modus operandi. The Advent have also gained a large following within the citizen of the city. Every day, more and more people see them as heroes and liberators of this the city.

As members of the newly formed special forces known as "Task Force Delta". You will be tasked with missions that no one else is willing or able to undertake. Will you be the heroes of tomorrow? or just glorrified law enforcement. Time to find out.

FONTS:

People born with the spark have one magical font they can access:

Fire: You can produce and control heat, flame, and explosions. The higher the temperature the stronger your magic, but colder climates will weaken you.

Water: You can produce and control water. Though controlling existing sources is found to be more powerful then conjured. (Ex: a wave you launched forward on dry land will be smaller then the one you can pull over from a lake)

Ice: You can produce and control cold and frost. The lower the temperature the stronger your magic, but hot climates will weaken you.

Wind: You can control air. A envied font for versatility and, of course, flight.

Earth: You can control earth. The more refined the material the harder it is to shape, (Ex dirt is easier then metal.) but the tremendous strength of this font is feared.

Enchantment: By placing runes on people or objects you apply certain effects to them, from strength to heaviness to a aura of lightning. The more complicated and/or powerful the rune the longer it takes to apply. Runes must be applied with touch and can also be set with triggers for activation.

Psychic: You can read and to some level control the thoughts of others. Full on mind control is very difficult, less grandiose effects are much less strain such as extreme migraines, confusion, so on and so forth.

Illusion: You can produce illusions. You create these for not only sight but the other senses as well. Like runes more complex and longer lasting illusions take more effort and time to cast.

Space: You can produce portals. The problem with this font is full on holes through space from one place to another that don't instantly close take days to cast, but you can warp yourself, others, and objects varying distances in a second. So that's cool.

Transmutation: You can turn something into something else. The more like each other the two things are, the less effort and time is used to change them. However the even the slightest use of this font is exhaustive in its own right.
You've been born with not a spark but a flare of magic, choose one of these bad boys:

Double Fonted: Right on the tin, you were born with two fonts of magic.

Font of Life: You can control the natural ability for the body to heal but also for it to die. While commonly known as Life and Death magic, the two come from the same font. You can even animate corpses with unlife, which is illegal in Doma for obvious reasons.

Font of Arcana: You posses the rare ability to control Arcana. Magic begins in a inactive state called mana floating in the air, then when casting begins it forms into a active energy called arcana before changing to its respective effect. In addition to the weaponization of pure energy you can also try to control the spells of others to a lesser degree. You cannot dispel magic though, there is no existing way of doing that.

Summoner: You can call forth and enforce you will upon magical beings. The weaker the creature the less strain it is to keep it around. Strong monsters should only be summoned for a short while, too long and your heart will give in.

Nature Font: Your link with the Earth Font goes deeper then most. You can also control and conjure plant life as well as being able to speak with animals.

Tempest Font: Your link with the Air Font goes deeper then most. You can also conjure and control lightning.

Name: Jero Kubii
Age: 31
Gender: Male
Race: Giense or Half-Djinn
Appearance:
shellz-art-elf.jpg

Personality: Jero is the sort to deflect personal questions or attacks to himself. If something is not serious enough for him to stop and think about it, then it is a worthless topic. Only riddles and the journey for self-discovery make him pause to think. Granted, repeated assaults or insults, attempts to discredit factual evidence, or racism cause him to erupt into a fiery nova of rapid rebuttals fueled by anger. There is a calmness to his being that is reflected in his eyes. He searches for similarities in others. Always looking for new kinship after abandoning his old life. And once Jero has put his efforts into a project... all be damned who block his path.

Strengths: Expert Magician - Jero has studied the science behind font applications, gifts, and their scientific compatibility for years. Spending some time analyzing a problem related to these topics is enough for Jero to, at the very least, understand the vague issues or problems presented to him.

Djiin Agility - Through training and aid from his heritage, Jero is incredibly agile and dexterous. His body is slightly lighter than one would assume and less prone to pain from stretching or bending. This allows him to dance around in hand-to-hand combat, light on his feet!

Son of Fire and Smoke - Being born with a dual affinity isn't simply a coincidence. Being the son of a Djinn, Jero's skills with his fonts go beyond a human's limits. The added years of training his skills have caused Jero to manipulate and control Fire and Wind in ways others cannot even dream of using. Both the strength and finesse of his fonts reach great heights.

Weaknesses: Outcast - While the Djinn are thought to be a rare breed, Gensie (half-djinn) are even rarer. Jero's closest connections have long been severed. And few people who are aware of the infamous trickster nature of djinns can trust Jero, while others think of him as an outcast among society. It does not help that his body will produce smoke every few minutes in place of sweat, polluting the air.

Fragile Body - Although Jero is an incredibly smart individual, his physical capabilities are lacking in all areas. Aside from bursts of agility. He has weak bones and will bruise easily. Additionally, the weaknesses of his Djinn heritage can cause even more trouble. Coming in contact, wearing or being enclosed in iron will cause his magical energies to completely be drained and cause fatigue. When the same conditions are met with silver, Jero falls unconscious for several hours.

Dependence - Gensie are miracle children from a phenomenon in their parents' union. Being the children of fire and smoke beings, Gensie are prone to smoking and becoming dependant on tobacco and other such substances. Jero is not an exception. He can only having a clear and calm personality and mind when allowed to smoke. He becomes irritated and even angry when not allowed to smoke for several hours on end.

Font: Fire + Wind
Gift: Double Fonte
Equipment: Custom Bayonet, Cell Phone, Medical Smoking Pipe, Bullet-proof goggles.

Backstory: Jero was born outside the City of Grand Doma, in an unconvential family setting. His mother, a human with strong magical aptitude, was raised in a cult seeking to evolve humanity. Make humanity take a huge leap forward into the realm of demi-gods. For this purpose, she mated and produced several demi-human offspring. Jero being just one of them.

Growing up in this cult, Jero was willing to learn and believe that humanity was but a rung in the ladder of their ultimate fate. He learned much about fonts, gifts, and the magic that caused them. Along with that, he developed an aptitude for the sciences and acrobatics; his Gift and abilities only increasing his range of skills. When Jero began to study philosophies of past minds though, things began to change.

His belief that humanity was just a stepping stone for their evolution changed. Even among other races and people, humans were not lacking in anything but flare. During the same period, Jero's mother died due to complications in childbirth. With his estranged siblings slowly spreading with new radical cells, the young man left behind his past life by faking his death. In the process, incinerating another young man to play his double.

Ever since then the Gensie has been working as a magitech consultant for military and police units in Grand Doma. As well as a demolitions expert utilizing his font. All under the cover of a new surname and a well-earned science degree from the nearby university. Only a few close friends, along with several authorities are aware of his true background.

Gender:

Race:
Magical Skeleton

Appearance:

Tiresias is on the small side of the spectrum. He's 5'3" and doesn't appreciate the giggles that come from his coworkers when he needs something off the top shelf. The glowing lights in his eye sockets are one of the few cues that he is not just an undead skeleton. The malleable bone structure of his face allows him to make a wide variety of expressions similar to people of the sapient fleshy creature variety, and his skill with illusionary magic helps when it comes to sticking out a tongue that doesn't actually exist. If you ask him how magical skeletons actually work, there's about a 78% chance that his answer will simply consist of him waggling his phalanges and saying, "mmmagic~".

It's a well known fact that skeletons don't have any of the heavy squishy fleshy stuff that other creatures have. This causes him to weigh in around 35lbs.

Most of his clothes were hand stitched by his mother, hence the odd designs. He wears them with pride anyways, and Stars help whoever says they look tacky because Mamma Faye didn't take no shit, and her kiddo knows to stand in for her when she's not around. That, and they're really comfy.

He's been known to cast an illusion around himself that makes him appear as a human for all intents and purposes. He hates having to use it, but there have been times where it's saved his life.
C09E06FF-4C5B-4B19-B119-6D6E643582CC.jpeg

Personality:
Tiresias is highly intelligent, and doesn't pull his punches when knocking down other people's pride. He was raised with a love for the piano and a talent for pranks, though only one of which lends itself to harmlessness. To be fair, he only resorts to tricks and pranks when he gets bored, and he does try a number of productive activities before he falls onto that pastime.

Like his parents, he finds magic and it's applications terribly interesting. He's written several journals full of observations and theories focusing on casting efficiency and energy constraints. He is less than amused when people suggest that his deep interest in the subject is borderline manic. He is a skeleton with standards, thank you very much.

Tiresias can be a bit petty at times, being the little diva he is, but more often than not he's a very relaxed guy with a poor sense of humor. He tends to fade into the background of group social activities, since he isn't overly sociable and tends to get drained by too much interaction. The only times he really stands out are when his voice carries a bit too much during the delivery of sass, deadpan humor, and sarcasm. He gets annoyed when people question his existence, since he does look similar enough to an undead skeleton that questions could be made, but for Pete's sake Helen, he has clothes on and undead skeletons don't have an instinctual reaction to flip off annoying people such as yourself!

Strengths:
Cunning - He's often thinking three steps ahead of himself, making plans and taunts ahead of time so that when the opportunity for a jab at an opponent comes through, he's ready to throw them off their game.

Terror - His real strength comes from figuring people out. He observes them, makes note of what they avoid and how they react to things. Doing this he can get a good picture of what they're afraid of. What he does with this information depends on the situation, but his adept magical skills are something to be feared when he puts his mind to it.

Empathy - He can relate to a lot of people in a lot of different ways. Being the psychic he is, he tends to walk in a lot of people's shoes and makes it a practice to show kindness to the people who need it. He's survived this long thanks to the kindness of others, the least he can do is pay it forward.

Weaknesses:
Cunning - His sharp mind is connected to an equally sharp metaphorical tongue that often gets him into a lot of trouble. And when he isn't running his mouth, he's scheming. Prolonged silence is dangerous. Don't let the skeleton scheme. It often results in pranks gone way too far.

Physically Weak - Skeletons, magical or undead, lack all the squishy fleshy stuff that puts mass on a normal person. Without that much mass behind his punches, they really don't make an impact. No pun intended. The featherweight wrestling level would be too much for him.

Untrusting - He can be friendly, downright peaceful with new faces, but he never expects the best out of them. He's a little prejudiced against anyone who isn't a magical skeleton due to some of the harassment he's dealt with. He doesn't count on anyone except himself, and it isn't exactly the healthiest mindset.

Font:
Psychic and Illusions

Gift:
Double fonted.

Equipment:
The Badge - The golden clasp that holds his jacket together in the front is an ancient family heirloom that means the world to him. His parents frequently joked about the inscribed LT on the front standing for Little Terror, his first nickname, but later he was told that it bared the rank of his ancestor who fought and died in a forgotten war.

The Jacket - Handmade by Mamma Faye, there are a multitude of secret pockets hidden inside of it, and at the bottom of each pocket is a tiny stable portal linked to the family's secret vault. The rule is to take no more than you need and return more than you take.

Skeleton Keys - They're good for opening up obscure old locks. And when laced between the phalanges they make a decent weapon when aimed at the eyes.

Twin Blades - When things get messy. He only uses them when his magic is tapped out. They're meant for slicing, not stabbing. He doesn't have enough force behind him for stabbing.

Backstory:
Tiresias came from a strong, well-off family. His dad, Tiberius Lafayette, was a lead researcher in the study of magic efficiency, and a highly skilled portal caster. Mamma Faye was everything and more. She worked as an advisor for a bunch of big companies, using her psychic abilities to keep everything running smoothly. One of the big things that she told him when he was a kid, other than 'don't even think about pranking your father', was never to abuse his gifts.

Other gems of wisdom were shared as well. Do no harm. Stay humble. Give respect and get respect in return. Of course, they'd lived in a small town that was mostly made up of magical skeletons back then. Dad took a portal to the city for work every single morning at six and came home during the wee hours of the morning. Tiresias tried to stay up for him a few times, but it ultimately ended in failure. Mamma left for the commute at nine and was back home by seven at the latest. Then, about when he turned ten, Mamma stopped going to work.

She said that she'd worked long enough. He didn't have to read her mind to know that she was lying. Over the course of the year, her bones started to turn slightly grey, and her eyelights began to dim out. Moving around the house became an effort. Then one day, here eyelights went out and she fell down.

She didn't get back up.

Tiresias moved to the city with his dad after her funeral. Culture shock was an understatement. People gave him weird looks when he walked to school that first day, muttering and whispering about a skeleton running around in the streets. The police officers he passed even looked at him weird. Were his eyelights dim enough that they thought he was an undead? Did they even know how to tell the difference? He hadn't seen any other magical skeleton on the streets, maybe dad and him were the only ones who actually lived in the city? Were magical skeletons considered a minority? Stars, he just wanted to be home with Mamma.

Things didn't get better at school. When he was walking home, he got jumped by some of the bigger kids. One of them chipped his tooth, and when he hit the ground the others started kicking at him. They scattered when a cop showed up to break up the fight. The cop was nice, didn't get spooked by the skeleton. Just a kind soul looking out for a kid in bad shape. He must've taken a pretty good hit to the skull, because after that he didn't hear Mamma's voice in the back of his head telling him to be good. Something a bit more than bone snapped that day.

He hit the books hard. Started skipping grades because he just didn't want to be there anymore. Reading the teacher's mind in order to get all the right answers was also a smart move. He started pranking the people who gave him weird looks, learned to be quick to not get hit. Evolved into the stupidly smart class clown and troublemaker. He tapped into his fonts hard, figured out how to scare off the people that he couldn't stand up to in a fight.

His dad took off of work in order to attend his graduation. Turns out becoming an evil genius is enough to get noticed by the guy who was supposed to take care of you. Tiresias couldn't hold it against him, Mamma didn't exactly leave a manual on how to take care of the son that they called Little Terror for the early half of his life.

What she did leave was a hand stitched jacket with the family badge shining on the front, with a note that always makes him cry when he reads it.

He started working at his dad's lab while he also went to college. No pranking during science time. The two of them got along better when they were casually conversing in scientific terms. While Tiresias was out taking a final, something went wrong at the lab. A portal became unstable, dad got hit by one of the impulses and cracked his skull open against the metal wall he was thrown against. Death was instant.

Tiresias was left to pick up the pieces. Started working full time at the lab translating a lot of his dad's theoretical work to the lab assistants, since no one except him could make out his dad's terrible handwriting.

Then he got contacted by the government. The government was something that sparked fear in the soul of the budding scientist, something that his dad had drilled into him. After all, they look for profit and submission in science. Instead of scientific study, they asked for him.

And he felt like the scum of the Earth when he though about saying no. Do no harm... He couldn't ignore the faint whisper in the back of his skull, and not doing anything would only let more people get hurt. So, he might as well try something new.

Accepted. Good to have you on the team, friend.

'Ami' - Amina Angelina Askinas

<~~~★~~~>

Nicknames: Ami, Thraze (Friends), HotWire (Vigilante).

Font: Space
Gift: Arcana
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Race: Mix-Breed: Pixie and Elf (Fae-Wayer)

Appearance:

Amina stands in at 5'11" and weighs in at 155lbs. Silver white hair and piercing blue eyes. She is in fantastic shape, well muscled and some may consider her pretty even though she only wears eyeliner and the odd dose of mascara. Ami usually keeps her hair spiky or in her custom 'just woke up look.' She is too muscled to be considered a cover model, and she is not curvy enough to pose as a swimsuit model either. She has several tattoos and has her ears, tongue, navel, nipples and hood pierced too and so she has done some glam modelling in the past.

In this form, she likes to buck the 'lesbian look' and wears tight outfits that accent her muscles, tats and womanly features. She does not care if people stare, in fact, she welcomes people admiring her; she works hard to keep a tight bod and so she deserves to wear the tight outfits.

But she loves working on machinery so she will normally be found in her coveralls or always seemingly with a cloth in her back pocket. Being rather athletic, she will be found wandering around town in workout gear that suits the seasons. But for casual outings, you will find Ami in classic white tops, denim bottoms, and any colour or style of skater shoe and a non-branded ballcap on her head.
no-lightbox

When she shrinks into her Pixie form, she stands in at 11" tall and weighs 7lbs. Silvery white hair and striking golden eyes. In this form she is a bit more frail and less muscled. Her eyes and ears are much bigger in proportion to her face, giving her a much cuter appearance, but don't say it out loud lest you want a jolt of arcanic energy up your nose.

As for clothing in this form, she will wear whatever attire is appropriate to get the job done. And as always she will wear her specialized arm-wear, mask, goggles, wing and antennae enhancers. If she does not need to wear specialized clothing/gear, she will default to wearing only a simple leafy green sundress. Normally she hates to wear dresses and skirts, but in this form she loves it. In fact, while wearing her sundress, she will sport a leafy thong underneath. Yes, she knows what it looks like, and knows that its soooooo easy to look up her skirt when she's flying around, but she finds it funny. And if she had her way, she would not wear underwear underneath, flashing away her privates as a big eff-you to society. But with the Nisdey and BinkerTell clause stating that all Pixies must wear underwear whilst wearing a skirt, it is against the law for her to go pantiless.
Personality:
High intensity, always talking smack, always fiddling a toothpick at her lips. She loves the loud music, tight outfits, and flirting with the ladies. Usually answers with an added smile, wink, and nod or adds a middle finger for just-so occasions. Not big into authority figures and being bossed around, but knows when to fall in line and be a good little soldier. Fun to be around, likes to laugh and fool around, though drinks a bit too too much. And too often. But when she is on the job she will just stfu and get 'er done. No fussing around. She does have a bit of an attitude problem but if you just stay out of her way, you'll get along just fine. If not, you just get run over. Typical badass brat who loves kitties, rainbows and growling engines. She falls in love too easily, but loves very hard and very thoroughly. Vroom-vroom, meow bitches...

(see below for expanded traits)
Strengths:

+ Highly Skilled - Amina loves to drive and has even earned her pilot wings. She is a mechanic by trade and can do both aviation and ground vehicle work, but loves to work motorcycles the most. She is also an explosives expert as well and does pyrotechnics both practical and magical for the entertainment business as cover to do her underground criminal activities.

+ On Point - Yes, the woman does fool around and get distracted by a pretty little thing but when she gets into the zone, she gets into the zone. She's sharp and pays attention to detail when she is on the job. Some call it 'flip-switch' and she has it. The fun-loving bitch is now the keyed-in queen and she must excel at what she does.

+ Daring - Big risk, big reward minded. Thrill seeker. Adrenaline junkie. Call it what you will, but no matter what you say about her, you cannot call her timid nor a coward. She is bold, willing and the first out of the gates. She takes things head on and at full speed. Volunteer? Sure, why the hell not. Her hand will go up straight away; you only live once afterall.

+ Exceptional Reflexes/Reactions - It pays to have this trait with her kinda' go-go-go mentality. Reflexes alone have gotten her out of many a jam while flying or racing around on her motorbike, Purr. Couple that with her Font and Gift and you have quite the formidable woman. She may not be able to null your magic, but she can deter it quickly enough to alter it as unusable or she may create a portal faster than you can react.

Weaknesses:

- Mine is Mine - She is fun to be around and she will buy you dinner or drinks on a whim but just know where she draws the line. If you encroach on what she considers her property or territory, be prepared to have your hand bitten off or head lopped off. This is especially true with anyone who messes with her tools, her vehicles, her handiwork and her girls. She falls for girls hard and becomes a rather jealous lover even though she says she likes to keep her relationships 'open.'

- Drinking Problem - Yeah about that... well, she does not drink at work or when on the job. She only drinks when she's socializing. Or when celebrating. Or to unwind after work. Or just to clear her head. Or just to have some fun. Or to have it complement her meal. Or to calm her nerves. Or to deal with anger, sorrow, regret, embarassment, humiliation, fear, anxiety, guilt, or any sort of negativity. Oh gosh. She has got a real drinking problem...

- Daring - Big risk, big reward does not always happen. There are those times when big risk, big fail happens and oh, but does it ever hurt. Does it ever. And being part of a criminal outfit, big fail does not bode well either. Look where it got her.

- Gimped Faerie- Amina's arcanic blasting prowess is non-existant in her Pixie form for she uses that Gift to maintain this diminutive size. She may only use her teleportation Font but even then, she may only open a portal for instantaneous transport; she cannot hold open a portal for more than 3 seconds in this form. Also, without her chromed wing enhancements, she will tire quicker than normal Pixies whist flying and may not hover in place.
Equipment:

That gun in her waistband - she only pulls her phone out when she needs it. Same goes for her gun, Rolli. When the magic well runs dry, time to bust a cap in some fool's ass.

Those trinkets on her keychain - what good is a mechanic without tools at all times. She has them in portable sized versions all up and down her keychain. From drivers to wrenches, from measuring devices to cutting tools, it's there on her giant set of keyrings. She even has a loudspeaker and a toothpick holder.

Them Witch-Chrome Gear made for Pixies - Enhanced strength arm with included tools: torch, cutter blade, drivers, wrenches and physical computer interface. Mask filtration with hidden goggles: Keeps out the yucky particles getting into her little lungs, included mic and 10 min O2 supply. Goggles provide enhanced zooming and night vision. Antennae enhancements keep her connectivity loud and clear also provide excellent sensors too. Wing enhancements allow for better stability, precision and protection when flying in tight spaces. Normally made for lycantrhopes and shape-shifting mages, these items are made of Witch-Chrome which are allowed to be summoned as soon as the user shifts.

This bike, helmet and matching leathers - It has a name. Her name is Purr. And she is a beast.

The DefiantOne deLaCrux 7 is a dream to ride. Powered by ArchaTech's finest Ancestral Runes-Powered Engine and using the latest Tempest Racing Industries fine tuned tech, this motorbike is the top of the top of the line. Yes, this beauty will set you back over 150k but she is definitely worth it, especially with Spirit Intelligence Assistance, Sirtangoolexa X.

Amina has modded Purr to military grade Mithril and puncture proof tires. And of course, the bike has all the secret compartments a person of her persuasion needs. Purr uses the latest of Arcanic Induction drive system that uses Ami's Font to give Purr a speed boost, or jump-jet kick, when necessary. The hidden dual 360 degree MageFire cannons also use her Font. One hidden in front and back. Also of note is the MageFire suppression system that allows Ami to teleport Purr without scrambling any of her systems. Like all SIA systems, both vocal and spiritual recognition is present and secured. The included helmet also allows the user to see with infrared, nightvision and maintain connection to the spiritual connectivity of the IntraNet and Azuretooth devices...
Backstory:

Yeah, well what can you say about Ami except that she is not the model law-abiding citizen.

Born from criminal parents, raised wth her triplet siblings in a criminal organization and proud to be a criminal. She comes from the Twin Dryad Syndicate, more specifically the smuggler division. In this Syndicate only the Fey-blooded are accepted and branded as children of crime-queens: Mother Amelie and Mother Jacqueline.

Even in her youth, she was taught the ways of her ilk; Fae-Wayers. These were the ones that were given the rights to pass into other territories to transport, trade or smuggle goods to other organizations. Her parents were mid-level smugglers and accomplished pilots. It was here in the old LaZaz hangar of Port Cotton where she and her triplet siblings began their life.

Vehicles of all types passed though the old hangar. And she and her siblings were taught not only how to work them but how to work on them as well. It was customary for the Askinas to be experts in the dismantling of vehicles of all types. A chop shop is what some may refer the hangar. And it was here where Amina found her love of motorcycles.

it became her passion to do all things two-wheeled. In fact, as a teen, she was earning quite the name for herself in the criminal organization as a top customizer. Her siblings took more to the aeriel vehicles but Amina loved the ground ones. Perhaps it was because she was not as skilled a flyer in their Pixie forms that pushed her in this direction. Regardless, Amina earned her pilot wings.

As the years went on, Amina discovered that she also had a knack for making things go boom. It was just her personality defined: Loud, intense, explosive and instant. The time of smuggling ended and the time for sabotage began for the young Fae-wayer. She was taken in by the BoneShaker division of the Twin Dryad Syndicate.

They were bad news. You knew that when things went south and The Mothers had to call in the BoneShakers, it had hit the fan. Call them cleaners, fixer, levellers, whatever you want, when they came knocking things would either go boom or people would go missing. This was not the life she wanted to lead. But what choice did she have? When Mothers say you do it, you will do it.

But Ami did not want to do it anymore. She was a driver. A pilot. Hell, she just wanted to ride bikes with her pals. Yes she loved blowing things up but, no, she did not want to kill people. The Fae-Wayer needed out. And what better way out than to kill yourself.

Or so she made them believe. The last job involved an 'accidental explosion' on an ocean liner that held a rival gang boss and his family. The bomb that was going to be planted was strong enough to sink that boat and all other 1800 passengers and crew aboard. Oh hell no. Amina had had enough. She was not the mass murderer they wanted her to be.

The single occupancy sub she took exploded on route to her job and sank without any recovered body. Her sisters picked her up the following dawn and they knew that this would be the last time they would ever see their triplet. A heart-felt goodbye, a vow to meet once more for the 10th SilverMoonLit ceremony, an exchange of blood and they parted. It has been almost 2 years since that day.

And so across the continent she went and Amina then found herself in the City of Grand Doma. And it was here where she met the strange mix-breed elf named Blink. But of course, they met. Blink was a criminal just like Amina afterall. Fast friends soon became fast lovers. Over the next few months, Amina became the wheel-woman and demolitions expert Blink's alter-ego, the vigilante named DarkStone, needed and desperately sought.

The Fae-Wayer swore she was not a murderer but... this was different, right? They were taking out bad people: Gangsters, thugs, rapists, murderers, abusers. If it so happened that those of the Dirt got themselves killed was not of major consequence right? Well, those answers were never answered more than surface deep because this was Amina's pennance and redemption for murdering all those innocent others. She revelled in being a 'Hidden Power of the People.' She bought into it. DarkStone and HotWire were the justice that the city did not need, but the justice it deserved.

That was until they got caught. And it was all because of a parking ticket. A bloody parking ticket.

Explosive making agents were found in Amina's wondrous motorcycle, Purr. It was enough to convict. Blink was guilty through association but Amina took the fall. She would serve hard time, but she loved her girlfriend dearly and so the price was well worth it.

Blink would do 20 hours community service per week, receive counselling and go back to dancing with her Inhuman Burlesque Troupe. Amina got a life sentence with 20 years before parole. The Fae-blood was found guilty of conspiracy to commit terrorism.

But then after 7 days of serving her sentence, Delta came knocking. Someway, somehow, they knew of her particular Gifted skillset and they made her an offer she could not refuse. A full pardon if she were to join their Task Force.

A handshake later and Amina Angelina Askinas walked away, free from the shackles of Federal prison yet offering herself up into the shackles of something else entirely.

Open the game board and place your pieces, you sorcerers and witches! Weave the tales of wonders! Sing the songs of the wretched!

...sorry, just need to get the chuunibyou out of my system. It's good to be back. :)

Despite his age, Willow has the appearance of a young man in his early twenties with an athletic build. He has medium length blonde hair which he simply let them grow, as well as a pair of icy blue eyes. He prefers monochrome-themed clothing with long sleeves as well as long pants. His facial features are quite androgynous, and some would describe him to be beautiful if he would actually cross dress.

Personality:
On the front, Willow is known to be a very private individual. He prefers his own company most of the time unless he really needed someone else to help him with... things. Being mute, this also caused him to be extremely self-reliant and independent, using his fonts in his everyday life with little regards on what others might think.

He is also known to be uncaring to the plight of others. While he is not as cruel as to inflict pain onto others for pleasure, he is not beyond walking pass the poor and down-trodden without batting an eye. He respects strength and adaptability, and those that failed to rise beyond their own circumstances deserve no pity from him. He considers those who have the influence and wealth to seek him out are worthy of his services.

While he has few positive qualities, know this: Willow is no coward. If he has to fight, he can and he will. However, he also understands when there is a need to retreat and when there is a need to pursue, making him an extremely dangerous enemy as he can be a very vengeful man indeed. He also yearns for a reason and a vision that is grander than himself. If one could convince him of their vision, their audacity and their magnificence, he can find an ally in Willow whose loyalty will be unwavering till the end.

Strengths:
Beyond Life: The mysteries of Life often woo those who can manipulate them. What secrets lie over yonder? Willow is one of those who had tried to lift the veil over the elusive temptress and was given a taste of what is to come if he continue to tread down this forbidden path. He can do more than just Healing with the Font of Life – he can trigger nerve-wrecking pain, manipulate diseases, sculpt flesh and bones, regenerate missing limbs and organs, even holding off ageing temporarily.

Immense Magic Power: Willow possesses immense magical powers, powerful enough to dwarf most citizens and denizens. When he was younger, he could barely contain them as a vessel and this has led to him being physically frail when he was much younger. Now, in his thirties, while he could contain them but they still continue to grow stronger as he ages. Despite being able to tame the dragon, he sometimes wonders if he would die from his own magic rather than by any other external factors. This allows him to perform some extremely outlandish feat - if he bets his life on it as there is no guarantee that he can survive going all out.

Rune Master: There are those that can use the Font of Enchantment. Then there are the Rune Masters, whose knowledge and skills are beyond even the elites of those who possess the same fonts as them. Rune Masters are able to use their Enchantment fonts beyond the capabilities of those who are not trained as such, such as drawing runes permanently on a solid surface area, creating semi-permanent magic items, rechargeable, drawing runes in the air, etc. They can even cause the same rune to display widely different effects. Willow is able to infuse his runes with the Font of Life, allowing him to create runes that are normally barred from even other Rune Masters...

Weaknesses:
Mute: Willow is mute and is unable to speak. While he can use sign languages to communicate, he cannot communicate extremely complex ideas without relying on writing (and he will be unable to communicate with anyone else if they cannot comprehend sign languages). Despite having great magical powers, skills and abilities, he can not restore his voice – it is believed that this is the price that he had to pay for being Gifted in the first place – and if he were given the choice, he would gladly pay it again.

Obsession: What power can be greater than the ability to manipulate life and death? What blessings can be greater than the gift of freely choosing who to live and die? Willow is addicted and obsessed with the powers granted by his fonts, using them freely despite the dangers they pose. He will actively go against those who seek to restrict the use of his powers – even if common sense dictates that it will be best to do so. As such, his knowledge and skills to operate in magic null areas are less than impressive.

Reputation: With great power comes great responsibility. Willow scoffs at the idea however, believing that the only responsibility he owes is to himself. Despite the prodigal powers he possesses, he actively refuses to help those who cannot pay for his services either in the form of cash or favours. This caused him to be notorious in certain circles where they believed that he should use his powers to aid the poor and destitute – meanwhile, the rich and powerful know who they can approach in order to extend their stay in the world of the living just for a little bit more.

Backstory:
The Winters family was an elite family in Grand Doma, with all their family members known to be born with at least a hint of magic as well as holding a great amount of wealth from businesses. The patriarch of the Winters family was a man by the name of Adair Winters and he was wedded with his current wife Janice Winters. The union produced four children, with Willow being the youngest of four brothers. While the couple was happy with the children that they have produced, Willow was considered to be the "weakest link" with the potential to shame their lineage due to his weak health and inability to speak.

Willow was kept in the family vacation home, and only see his family once every one or two years. The family servants did not treat him well, causing him to be self-sufficient in every areas of his life from his youth. Only when the magical power within him gave form to his Font of Enchantment and Font of Life was he brought back into the fold of his family. Unfortunately, Willow was perceptive enough to see what it truly was – just another pack of lies. They would throw him away just as easily if one day he would become useless.

He was eventually admitted to a private school where he would finish his education while remaining friendless during the entire period. His body continued to be fragile during this time as his body had to readjust itself to accommodate his growing magical powers. However, his body became stronger and stouter as began to learn to channel his magical energies through using magic without any reasons. It was also during this time that he began to learn the many applications of his Enchantment and Life fonts.

The youth eventually followed the path of a rune master and a researcher in the healing arts, as his personality was not suitable to be a healer. The world did not know the talents that they have missed, and Willow dedicated his passions into runecraft and seeking the mysteries of Life. It was during this time that he had earned his reputation as an extremely reliable healer, combining his skills in runecraft, Font of Enchantment and Font of Life to heal the most complicated of diseases, help patients regrow lost limbs and organs and even perform facial reconstruction surgeries. These usually come with a hefty price tag, something that Willow exploits to no end.

The Winters family would exploit his fame and expertise for their own purposes, while Willow would use them to accumulate wealth to support his personal researches and learning style. It was not until when they plotted behind Willow's back that he eventually ditched the Winters family. The Winters raged a silent war as brother warred against brother, and sons against father. At the end of the bloodless conflict, the patriarch of the Winters family was the eldest of the four brothers Eira Winters. Adair Winters, Janice Winters and their two others sons had decided to take long holidays beyond Grand Doma. Willow however, emerged from it relatively unscathed.

While he was freed from the shackles of the Winters family, he knew that he cannot allow it to fall into obscurity. He still supported his family's activities, although he placed much more emphasis in his own self-improvement. It was after this time, that he was approached by an official representation of the government of Grand Doma to join an initiative to quell the unrest in the city. While Willow wasn't as interested in helping the government but being an agent of the world's most magically advanced city had its perks. He agreed after a lengthy discussion with the government, officially putting himself as an agent of the state and went for basic combat training which he completed with flying colours. According to his own words: "When you are a Winters, you don't get to live until my age without learning to defend yourself."
