Clan Academy

Midnightstar lets the others begin eating and starts eating herself. She finishes quickly due to her smaller portion but is no longer hungry.
The young woman watches her clan chat with one another and her tail flicks contently. Her clan was fed and healthy, this made her happy. She watches her clanmates happily.

"Then it was wrong. all members are awakened by the first bell, then get ready and go to breakfast. Members aren't allowed in training rooms without supervision unless given permission by a clan leader. I will have a talk with whoever gave you your schedule, there are no exceptions, therefore, I will let it go this time due to administrative error. But for now, put the weaponry back, and follow me to breakfast." She remained in her place against the doorway, her glance fixed on him.

Rosepaw sat at in the cafeteria at the Wind Clan table, she hated eating all her meals here. In the past couple of years the Wind cat population had died down, Shadow and Thunder increasing. She was one but a couple of other cats at the table, most of them in College. She always found herself sitting alone at the edge of the table which she found quite unbearable. Her mind wandered as she picked at her food finding herself not hungry at all. Thoughts of earning her name and becoming a warrior filled her head and brightened her mood slightly. She vowed to herself as she sat picking at her food that she'd make something out of herself.

Alright Crow said. He put the bow and arrows away and followed her but kept a good distance from her do to his shyness.

Sylvia sat in her usual place at the head of her clan's table, remaining silent as she ate her meal by herself. She never had a desire to concentrate on the other clans, so she usually paid attention only to her meal and focused on what was going on that day unless approached or addressed, and today was no different.

"O-oh! It's not that I'm scared of you, ma'a- er - Midnight. It's just... dad always tells... u-um... told me to... *Ahem*" Silverslash says, stopping eating for a second and looking a bit sad as he hangs his head for a moment, blankly looking into his half-eaten plate of salmon. He then blinks twice, shaking his head and snapping out of his brief state as he looks up at her respectfully again.
"S-sorry about that, h-heh... I'll just call you Midnight from now on!" He says with usual happiness back in his face, and he watches Sylvia and one of her clan members walk in, a sense of dominance around her as she entered the room.
"People like her are the ones who frighten me a lil'.." Silverslash whispers with a discreet gesture to Sylvia's direction. He then goes back to eating somewhat shyly, a little in thought it seems as he takes a swig of water from a nearby filled cup.

Hollykit followed Midnightstar and Jayfeather into the cafeteria, going over to sit at the table with her other clan mates. She was one of the youngest, being the only female kit in the Shadow clan. Other than her, there were three male kits, and they liked to spend more of their time pulling pranks and playing eith their food than actually eating. Sighing, she put down her fork and look around, feeling lonely. It was moments like this she wished she could be in the same clan as her brother. Then at least she's have someone to sit with at meals.

Scanning the room, she saw another loner, with pink hair and ears sitting at the edge of the Wind Clan table. She made eye contact with her, showing a tiny smile. And then, a piece of food collided with her head. She looked around, seeing the three male kits giggling at her. She rolled her eyes and walked over, her ears matted down in annoyance. "Briarkit, can you please not throw food? What did I do to you?" She asked the kit laughing the hardest, a tall kit with dark brown hair and grey ears. She crossed her arms, waiting for a response.

As Crow sat down he got two earplugs out and put them in his ears. Then he started eating. He ate very slowly like he didn't want to eat it. Then when he was half way done he threw it out.

Rosepaw sighed and looked at her food then looked up scanning the room. She saw a small little girl give her a smile and her day instantly brightened. She smiled back but then her mouth dropped when she saw a piece of food hit her straight in the head. Her eyes traveled to the group of boys that had to be the culprits she frowned at then her tail swishing in annoyance. Her ear twitched slightly as she wanted to hurl a piece of food at the boy but she was supposed to set an example and, she would never hear the end of it from her mentor. She bit her lip and turned back to her table having the urge to leave.

Sylvia looked up from her plate as one of the kits chose to get on her bad side this morning. She slowly got up from her seat and walked over to the kit's place at the table, walking up behind Briar and locked his back and arms against her front torso with the quarterstaff. "And your explanation for a bad start in my clan?" She asked, leaning her head in close to his ear, still speaking loudly and firmly enough for the rest to hear. Her tail wrapped around a leg of his chair as she turned to face him, her long, silver hair pouring over his shoulder.

Midnightstar notices the ShadowClan leader enter with a male, but doesn't stare because it's a rude thing to do. She turns her attention to Silverslash and chuckles as he stutters.
"You seem nervous, it's alright I'm not going to bite your tail for having manners silly, " she says.

Silverslash smiles, seemingly comforted a little as he wiggles his white, fluffy tail behind him as he finishes the final mouthful of his food, swallowing it with delight as he wipes his mouth with his sleeve.
"N-... Um... Naw, it's just I'm a lil' nervous this morning. Mistress Cobaltinia has a test due for me today." Silverslash says; his mentor, Cobaltinia was in earshot, so it was essential he referred to her as Mistress even if she didn't hear.

In truth, that wasn't the only reason. He was still a little horrified about his father's death - it had been a few days ago when he only really managed to properly get over it, and he was still left feeling a little empty. But he would get over it soon enough, and he didn't want to burden others by showing his sadness.

He then takes a final swig of his water, patting his belly with a contented 'Ahh.' He was always very fast to finish his food due to his quick eating.
"Can't beat a nice slice of smoked salmon... *prrr...*" He mumbles to himself happily. His ears then twitch up to a loud voice coming from the Shadow's side of the table, and it seemed one of the kits was in trouble, one of the leaders pinning him against herself with her staff.
"Uh oh... looks like someone's getting the claw..." He whispers with a small nod to Briar, watching anxiously. He looks a little in thought to the commotion, thankful that the leaders in Thunder were generally sympathetic. Silverslash had always been a little naughty and clumsy after all - one time he put a whoopee cushion under someone's chair was a time Silverslash was eager to forget due to the consequences that followed.

Rosepaw finally got excused by her leader and she nodded gratefully and stood up dumping her tray. She walked out of the cafeteria her ears twitching slightly as she made her way towards the training room. She stretched slightly before grabbing a book on Star Clan from a shelf of books and curled up in an armchair near the window. The training room was empty due to all the trainees eating breakfeast still. She let out a content sigh at the quietness and opened the book starting to read. Star clan had always interested her since she was a kit but she was never made out to be a medicine cat. She bit her lip slightly as all her concentration was in the book.

Midnightstar had already turned to see the young ShadowClan member being punished. Her eyes narrow at the cruel treatment of the child, but of course she does not dare to interfere. It was well understood that clans never interrupted or interfered with another clans business. She frowns, the ShadowClan leader was strict and hard on her clan.
She turns away, unable to watch them anymore.
"poor child, I hope he doesn't get hurt too badly... unfortunately one can never tell with ShadowClan."

Silverslash looks away from the scene after a while with a sigh, putting his knife and fork on his plate clumsily as he skidded back his chair, ready to go and study before Cobaltinia would have a test awaiting for him... Silverslash was slightly dreading this test - the way Cobaltinia had described it was brief, but she clearly stated it would be one of the most difficult physical exams he'd have to face. Usually it was the mental tests Silverslash dreaded, because when it came to things which required deep thought, he found it hard to concentrate and usually did quite bad. Physical agility tests however were where he was good - incredible, in fact. But he was dreading what Cobaltinia had in store for him - she was a kind and caring mentor, but in serious situations, she was unforgiving and pointed out even the littlest of mistakes.
"I hope Briar comes out in one piece..." Silverslash mutters to himself, and then he blinks in realisation, he had just been staring into space for a while. He quickly gets up from the table and gives a quick bow to Midnightstar. "Um... gotta run! See you later, Ma'...erm...Midnight!" Silverslash says hurriedly, and makes a dash off with his tray, accurately throwing the plates from a while away onto the place were they were to be cleaned, and swatting the tray with his tail onto the pile where the empty trays would be collected. Surprised that actually worked, he makes a dash for the library section of the training room. Just in case, he'd study in case Cobaltinia had something mental prepared for him. He wanted to pass this test with top marks, and show her that he was a worthy - if not the worthiest student. Maybe she'd respect him as an equal one day...

He notices Rosepaw quietly reading as he skids through the corridors of the training room noisily, and he suddenly stops his mad sprint, giving a shy, somewhat apologetic wave to Rosepaw as he walks quickly, but a lot quieter. He scans the bookshelves for a particular book - ah, here it was. 'An Intermediate Guide to Battle Tactics.' He took the large book, and sat cross-legged on the floor as he tried his best to focus on the contents inside, his tail beating gently behind him with concentration.

Rosepaw was deep into a chapter about Medicine cats when a noise made her jump out of her seat. She scanned the room frowning but cracked a small smile when she saw Silver Slash. She watched him walk to a shelf a put out a book about Battle. She put her nose back in her book her ears twitching, it annoyed her but her ears always had a mind of their own. She sighed as she tried to get through the sentences it all kind've blurring into the pages. She groaned quielty and set the book down on the table and set her attention on SilverSlash. He seemed to be trying hard to concentrate also he tail making a steady thump noise on the ground. She couldn't help but giggle slightly at how funny he looked at the moment.

Silverslash continues to concentrate, or try to at least as he stares the pages down, trying his best to understand them. He could read and all, but he wasn't the best in the world at it, and didn't really understand some of the larger words as he squints now and again at the book.
"Gotta... learn... it all..." He mumbles to himself, turning the pages and trying his best to understand what he could, although he found this feat quite hard. He sighs, scratching his head and looking behind him suddenly to notice his bushy tail was slowly beating against the ground, making a few thumps against the flooring as he blinked a little with frustration as he tried to concentrate. The tail seemed to be a being of its own, and Silverslash could barely control the thing. He then hears a quiet giggling, and jumps up a little from his crosslegged position to see Rosepaw giggling, her eyes glancing at him once and a while.
"H-hey!" He splutters, glancing between her and the book. He was biting his lip a little with surprise to notice his cheeks had blushed a bright red, and he tries to hide it by holding the book in front of his face shakily, his silver tail distressedly waving about.

Midnightstar chuckles as Silverslash leaves.
'such a lively one he is', she thinks to herself. Once all of her clan had finished eating she dismissed them to their classes before putting her plate with the others.
Midnightstar looks around at everyone with a content smile on her face. She decides to go to the archery tower to see if anyone would need help, and to practice her own archery.
The young woman gets to her feet and leaves the cafeteria, nodding respectfully to Silvia as she walks past her. She walks to the archery tower and enters. The woman looks around at the targets and bow racks with bows for the students to use. Midnightstar walks to the leaders area and grabs a locked bow case that contained her bow and quiver. She unlocks the case with a key around her neck and takes out the lovely boy, she'd made it herself.
(picture of bow with be be added soon)

Holly giggled slightly as Briar was scolded, then stood from her seat. She was finished with breakfast, and the dismissal bell would ring in a few minutes. Dumping her tray in the garbage can, she walked over to Sylvia, asking her to be dismissed so she could go wash up before class. The clan leader nodded, so Holly scurried out of the eating hall, eager to distance herself from Briar in case he kept throwing food.

Walking along the corridors, she stopped when she heard talking coming from the library up ahead. Her ears and tail perking up with interest, she walked along, poking her head around the corner to see the same girl from earlier and one of her brothers clan mates.... Silver-something? talking with each other. She walked all the way into the library and gave a small wave, holding the strap of her bag with one hand. "Hello! I'm Hollykit. I saw you at breakfast this morning. What's your name?" she asked, smiling.
