Plot Overview Into the wilderness, the demigods traveled, hoping to thwart an upcoming disaster that was veiled in secrecy. They questioned how they were supposed to prevent some unknown catastrophic event, when even the gods themselves were somehow unaware of it. Nonetheless, they ventured out. How long had it been now? How did the prophecy go? Things didn't look good, even after the hell they'd all been through in the past, it was only getting worse. Now, they had to find their way home. This rp is, of course, based on Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Our story begins briefly after the beginning of the first book and will continue throughout. The events that transpire here are also Non-canon, obviously, and won't affect the original story and events. However, occasionally, Canon characters and events will of course be referenced and possibly seen. Ruling Notes The rp is presently full, but, more slots will be opened later on. I'll be playing a single PC, while also functioning as a GM, doing posts for the players while they act. I'll be doing rolls routinely to determine outcomes and such, so, please bear with me if I say something unpleasant happens, or you wind up being hit or grabbed by something. Depending on the roll, it will either auto miss, auto hit, or give you a chance to choose yourself. I will trust your judgments, more often than not. Character Sheet Appearance: (A picture is preferred, and I'd prefer more realistic styles if you choose to use art. ^_^) Name: (This rp primarily takes place in the United States, where Mount Olympus now resides. Fortunately, America is enough of a melting pot that any and all cultures and ethnicities are fair game.) Age: (12-16 at start) Gender: (Male or Female...please.) Godly Parent: (As a demigod, you are born of a god/goddess and a Mortal. Which God or goddess?) Powers: (Not all demigods have special powers, as not all Gods bestow their children with such gifts. Those who do are potentially powerful, but, every power has it's limits. Be careful with this, as it can be easy to go overboard with powers that are literally "god-like.") Skills: (Though not all demigods have mystical powers, most or all are blessed with skills and talents inherited from their godly parent. Though, remember that just because you are like your parents, it doesn't mean you can't have other skills.) Gear: (Half-Bloods are often in danger from monsters, which is a primary reason for Camp Half-Blood's existence. As such, they are trained to fight and protect themselves. Different people have different preferences and affinities for different Weapons, just like skills. So, choose wisely. Additionally, if you have already been claimed by your godly parent, you may start with a magical item given to them by their parent. Please, if you do this, have it make sense and make sure you can explain how and why they got it. Especially since most of the minor gods seldom claim their children, and even the major gods don't until after they've arrived at camp and been there for a bit.) Fatal Flaw: (Everyone has flaws, Demigods are no exceptions. In fact, what makes them so special actually makes it more so. A fatal flaw is a character defect that has the possibility of getting you, and worse, others, killed. An example would be Medusa's pride, and we all know how that turned out.) Extra: (This section is entirely optional! I'd just like to give you a place to put things like: Likes Dislikes Fears Hopes Greatest Wish Favorite Food Favorite Color Birthday Favorite Music Etc... So, since we're already full up, I'll just have you guys go ahead and post your sheets here, and I'll add a couple sections for you to add. These sections will be at the bottom of your sheet and inserted into the bottom of every post in spoilers. Please and thank you. Info (Move your mouse to reveal the content) Info (open) Info (close) Items: (This will be where you will list things like ambrosia, nectar, money, drachmas, and key items like keys or important relics.) Condition: (This section will keep track of how your character is holding up. It will in fact effect both story and rolls, while also giving other players a simple idea of how your character is looking if injured without you having to specifically describe it.) Health: (Fine, Injured, Exhausted, Near-Death) Status: (Any buffs or debuffs, as well as things like Polymorphed, Asleep, Crippled, etc...) Additional Information More will definitely be added. This is going to be our OOC, so, feel free to chat. Relevant information will be maintained on this first post. I'll try to update it regularly.
