Personality
Ru is the strong silent type. She's very well educated having grown up in the kingdom of Tai-Ran. She isn't as cold and honorable as her family and others from the kingdom can be. She is a free thinker and cares a lot for all other living beings. She is quick with her tongue, but not quick to anger. She is usually in a pleasant mood though her demeanor sometimes looks as though she isn't very happy at all.
History
Ru grew up the youngest of 3. She realized early in life that she wasn't like the others in her family or her kingdom. Being born to a noble family this was hard as she has felt estranged most of her life. She did however make friends with an only child of another noble family, her name was Lyari. They didn't see common views a lot of the time, but their different personalities complimented one another as they grew and learned from each other over the years.
At the age of 16 Ru decided to leave the kingdom and set off on her own life journey. She was devastated to find out that Lyari did not want to come with her. Her family had long ago lost hope on her and for once in her life she was truly alone in the world.
Life was rough for some time. Without the safety of her kingdom and family she felt the hatred of others for the first time. She had grown up seeing her kind be xenophobic to the extreme, being on the receiving end was even more eye opening. Where most would become spiteful she instead grew more compassionate and hopeful. She wanted to change the name of her people or at least herself. That was when she found "The Sky Haven."
She had heard rumors of this place, but her family had written it off as a fantasy. She has been here for the past year now and is making great strides.
She wants to unify the world further and keep peace between all nations and people. She wants to clear the name of her people and she still longs to see her best childhood friend.
