"Bloody hell," Jonathan whispered to himself from above in the tree's. He couldn't let the searcher find them. If he did, they would be killed. Not only could they be of use, but as could the searcher if Johnathan could find a way to incapacitate him. Those dogs are the first of his problems if he planned to go through with it. John could travel faster through the trees then the dogs could through the dense Forrest and it seemed that the searcher was loosing pace with them. Johnathan put up his hood up, grabbed the daggers off his waist, and gave chase to the dogs. He began to bob and weave through the trees in an attempt to catch the dogs. Eventually, he caught up to them and, with one swift movement, he jumped off one of the branches and down upon the first dog.
His blade landed between the dogs ribs, killing him instantly without so much as a yelp of pain. He fell to one knee, as the other dog stopped dead in his tracks at the appearance of a new scent. The dog approached to investigate the area. But, before the dog could react, it had a knife through its heart and it fell dead, sliding off the end of the dagger. Johnathan didn't even have time to wipe the blood off before running up and parkouring back up into the tree awaiting the man to follow and investigate. At this moment, the location of the other two children was unknown.
