Jared took this time to take in his surroundings, and noticed that Charlie seemed almost... flustered. Looking around, he noticed a girl in the distance staring at her, smiling. Strange. He was about to return his attention until his eyes came across the guy in the sweater, looking upset. Perhaps one of Charlie's other guards. Ah well, looked more like a pretty boy than anything. But Jared remembered to not underestimate new people. However he showed no emotion in reaction to the guys scowl, and looked back to Charlie.

"So Charlie, I never got to hear what it was like for you growing up. What was your time in the water kingdom like?"

Charlie's attention was brought back to the present with Jared's question. "Oh, well you could say it was normal, for a princess. I was born 5 minutes before my twin Cheyenne. So I was the heir. Though I'm sure my parents wished it was my sister, she's more responsible. So I was raised by mostly nannies, but when I was about 5 or 6 I started riding horses and learning how to sword fight. Then when I was 10 or so I started to learn more princess mannerisms. Royal business, teas, dresses. Things of that nature. I learned how to escape the castle walls with my best friend Max. We would explore the different cities in disguises and learn about the problems as the people see them. It's always helped me in making designs for my people. My parents decided that after Chey tried to freeze me in ice that we should both learn how to control our powers so I often was taken out to the coast lines for practice. Growing up in the water kingdom was a blessing to me, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. It's home." She said confidently.

Her gaze traveled to the servant on watch and instead she saw Maxwell. Her eyes lit up and she smiled to him, but noticed a dark scowl on his face. "Would please excuse me a moment." She said to Jared, Jackie, and Raythar. She excused herself and walked over to Max with a concerned look. "Max what's wrong? Is something the matter? Is Chey okay?" She asked quickly and concern washing over her face.

Watching people tends to leave a persons mind to drift. SO it was no wonder that Charlie would find Maxwell Scowling into space. At first he just looked at her for a moment without comprehension. It took a moment to realize that she was reading his face.

Understanding and concern both washed over his face. His scowl turning into a concerned frown as he focused on her. He placed an hand on her elbow, "No no everything is fine Charlie, I was just drifting off into space. Why is Chey alright? do you know something I don't?" The nervous sudden rush of energy bringing the small hairs on his neck straight up.

Jared had just finished his food and had gotten up to put away his empty plates, as well as anyone elses who may have finished theirs as well. He noticed that Charlies tea cup was empty, and while she was gone, he decided he would get her a refill while he was up. He took the dishes over and handed them to the worker, then asked for the refill of tea which was given to him promptly. He looked back over at Charlie and her servant, wondering why he seemed so concerned while talking to Charlie. Was something the matter? He decided he would wait for her to return, setting her tea back on the table where it was.

Charlie's hand rested on her heart. "Oh thank goodness." She said, as her heart beat began to slow down regain a steady pace. "I was worried for a second. No I don't know anything, in fact I haven't seen Chey yet. Her room mate wasn't there when I stopped by. I was going to wait for her but I got side tracked. I met the knight in training for the earth kingdom Jared and we got to talking." She said with a small smile. "Come join us Max. And that's an order.. It's weird if you're just off in this weird lonely corner watching me" She said with a wink as she took him by the hand and dragged him over to the table.

Upon her return she stood next to Max and smiled. "Everyone this is Maxwell, my guard. Maxwell meet Jared, the knight in training of the earth kingdom, Raythar, the earth kingdoms heir, and Jacyln, the princess and second in line to the fire kingdom." She said as she took her seat back and finished her soup and sandwich. Patting the seat next to her for Max. She noticed her tea had been refilled and looked up at Jared with a thankful smile as she sipped it gracefully.

Jared gave a respectful nod to Maxwell as he was introduced by Charlie. He smiled at Charlie then to Maxwell, holding out his hand. "Nice to meet you Maxwell, glad to see you decided to join us." he said with an upbeat tone.

Bowing slightly, he took the seat next to Charlie, extending his hand across the table to shake Jareds Respectfully. Pulling away he laced his fingers together and sat them in his lap. Smiling he began to speak, "Thank you Charlie, it is nice to meet you all, nice to see you again Lady Jacklyn. I thought it would of been best if I just let you guys be but obviously I had no choice." He smiled brightly chuckling lightly at his own joke. As he spoke he quickly kneed Charlie in the thigh in spite. For as long as they had known each other she should know he disliked socializing with groups. Still itwas the first time in a year since he had a chance to sit with her, a thought that both made his heart beat faster and bring back memories.

As his mind drifted to the past it brought something to the forefront of his memory. "Lady Charolette, have you been practicing you're sword fighting? I would hate to have taught you everything I knew in vain. " Adding the last part as a playful jab.

Logan laughed quietly as his sister and knight spoke to eachother. He perked up at the mention of a meal "Really? That's awesome, i always liked those big dinners our parents threw. Ones here are probably going to be even better!" he said with a wide smile. He was getting more and more excited about this place the more he stayed. He was finally out of the reaches of his parents and nanny's. He could actually act how he wanted to.

As Charlie was sipping her tea, the quick jab from her loyal guard made her spit some out and she looked at him with a mock anger which quickly turned to laughter. "Oh whatever, socializing is good for you max dear" she said as shd sipes another. At the mention of her sword skills she looked at him like he was crazy. "I'll admit I haven't practiced in some time. I'm a bit rusty but nothing a good practice wouldn't take away. I haven't exactly found the time to practice" she said directly to him. "But Jared and I were going to practice sometime. You should join us!" She remarked happily to her best friend. Their was a subtle hidden need in her voice. Max was her best friend and the fact that they hadn't seen each other in months drive Charlie though the roof some days. As much as she loved and admired girls, you could only take so much before needing a guy friend of some sort.

Jaklyn's eyes darted back and forth watching them all until she felt a presence enter the room. At the distance she could feel the heat emanating from the girl and turned from where she was sitting to see Rose standing a good distance away. "Rose! Come here!" She called out then to keep from being rude turned to face the knight in training. "Nice to meet you Sir. My kingdom doesn't have many knights.. Their standing military does most of the guarding now. Ever since my mother took the throne things have calmed rather well it seems." She said to Jared.

She then turned her attention to what the others were saying. She introduced herself to the others before looking at Maxwell and Charlie "I... I stepped away from sword play and went down the tree of Archery and Gun play... I brought things with me to train with soo... It may be loud eventually. I am unlike my brother with swords... I am to small for them. I am quick enough for Bows and Guns though. Also! I met Maxwell already, I talked to him when he was looking for you and your twin." She said with a smile before darting her eyes around once more. "I feel so giddy right now... So many people to talk to.." She said out loud on accident instead of inside her head. Her face began to turn read and she lowered it towards the table to hide the fact she was lighting up like a Christmas tree.

Maxwell couldn't help but laugh a tad. "You want me to ocme and remind you how to beat me up? As long as Jared doesn't mind I would love to come remind you who is the best." Turning his dark brown stare to the other speaker. Lady Jaklyn recounting her practice of the martial arts. "Archery you say? My uncle has a love of Bow hunting. He tried to teach me awhile ago, but I prefer more weighted in my hand. Rifles swords are what I prefer."

Smiling he went on about his own home. "In the water kingdom we have several families of knights, most employed as the personal guard for the King and Queen. My family however Forsaken our title hundreds of years ago during an uprising. The other households of knights tried to overthrow the throne. It was my family alone who protected the Royal family. Since then my family has been in charge over the other guards." Smiling he stood up clapping his hands. "Now that the History lesson does anyone want anything While I go get food?"

Jaklyn stood up and her red hair seemed to flow down her shoulders from her paying with it. "Yes! Please! Uhm... Ill go with you actually.. I dont really know what I want.. I am trying not to make split second decisions that I would later regret...." she said before walking over to Maxwell. She stood by his side then looked up at him "I feel tiny... But don't you think for a second I cant beat you up!" She said before giggling. She felt like a kitten next to a Great Dane. She shook the thought out of her head before looking at her fingers and beginning to mess with her hair again which she normally did when feeling slightly nervous.

She eventually worked herself out again "Well!" She nearly called out but fixed her volume at the last minute. "Sorry.. When I get nervous or excited or emotionally riled up I kinda go a bit crazy." She said before taking a few deep breaths. She looked up at him again "I never though of a gun blade or something like that.. I take after rifles and SMGs... Pistols I do not like to much. I actually have a few things with him in my bags... I also have something that isn't on the market yet." She whispered to him before letting a big smirk cross her face. "My parents wanted me to feel protected but I am just as good with a gun as I am running and sneaking up on you." She said before waiting for him to begin walking. She didn't want to look awkward if she began walking only to find him still standing there.

"Hello, Maxwell. I've heard much of the Water Kingdom's Royal Guards, and all of it good." Raythar finished his lunch and stood up. "Would any of you care to join me in the training room? I could do with some practice. If not, I understand."

Jared couldnt help but feel a few mental shots fired when Maxwell revered himself as 'the best'. Heh, after measuring the guy up, he saw he was the same height as Jared, though that meant nothing. Plus it was obvious that their fighting styles were both very different, being that Jared was a close and personal kind of fighter while Maxwell seemed happy with rifles as he said. Nonetheless, he was greatly interested to see what this guy was made of.

As he got up to grab some food, he chuckled and said aloud, "Having the title of the best only applies when it does not include opponents you have yet to face, so be mindful when tossing that around". He meant it in a good way, quoting his father, but of course there was a hint of challenge in his voice. This guy talked a big story just now, but words can only get so far. Looking to Raythar, he smiled and nodded "I would love to accompany you, Prince Raythar. Perhaps I can give you a refresher course on swordsmanship."

Charlotte looked at the two boys and rolled her eyes. "I think you're both full of yourselves. Words mean nothing when you have everything to prove." She said, quoting her mother, which made her a little sick. "I'd love to join you Raythar and Jared. Though fighting in a dress would be rather hard..." She said looking down to the floor length dress she had on. "But oh well!" Se decided that she'd try anything once. "Anyone got anything pointy?" She asked with a devilish smile.

"I'll go tell the others where we are going so they can come as well!" She said as she hurried up to the lunch line and found Max and Jackie. "Max, Jared and Raythar are going to go practice. I wanted to let you know, so in case you wanted a personal butt kicking from your princess." She gave him a smirk before turning to the smaller and very cute and energetic Fire princess " Also please feel free to come along Jackie!" She said with a sweet smile to her. With a swing of her brown curly locks she turned on her heels and walked back over to Jared and Raythar. "Shall we gentlemen?"

Jared smiled and nodded his head. "Of course I am ready. I am sure they will have training equipment available to us at the training room." He held his arm out to her as an escort would for a lady "If I may?" he asked with a smile. He had greatly enjoyed spending this day with her, and the fact that there was already a group to be around, that made him happier. Not just for him, but Raythar as well, he needs this opportunity to make good connections with the other royals.

Max swiveled around to face Charlie, an apple held in his mouth already. He quickly pulled it away swallowing what was in his mouth. Smiling he nodded his head. "Yah enjoy yourself let me just eat and I will catch up. Try not to kill anyone though, it would look bad on our entire kingdom."

Charlie shot him a quickl glare and stuck out her tongue "oh whatever!" She replied before returning to the two boys. Taking Jareds arm she smiled politely "thank you. It sounds like max will be joining us a little later so I have a bit to remember how to kick his ass again. I do hope Jakcie will tag along as well." She said as she looked at Raythar. "So Raythar, what weapons do you prefer to use?"

Jaklyn looked up at Max then at the others. She watched Charlie move over towards the other and sighed. She looked up at Max again "Uhm.. I think I ate enough..." she said before jogging over to where Charlie had gone. She stopped next to her "I'll go with you all. I think it will be good for me.. I do not know much about sword fighting so... please take it easy on me.. Im kind of fragile." she said before standing still and waiting for the others. She felt like she was going to explode from all the energy inside of her but began to breath to calm herself down. 'What if I do something stupid... Jackie! What are you getting yourself into... But people... Oh damn..' She thought to herself as she waited. She looked at Charlie and began to relax herself again as the others around her talked.

Jared smiled as she took his arm and began to head to the training room. It took a bit of searching, but he was happy to waste a little time with Charolette and the others. Eventually they found the training room which was a large open warehouse style room with multiple areas for working out, sparring, and weapons training with a wide array of weapons at their disposal. There were even staff with protective wear that would be a sparring partner would anyone need one.

"Well, here we are" he said happily, heading to the training swords with Charolette. He searched through until he found one to his liking, a one handed about waist high for him. He spun it a few times before looking to the water princess. "Ok, grab your sword and we can start. You sure you wanna wear that dress?"
