It's such a happy-

Oh boy.....

Who: Everyone is invited. You can make character sheets if you want.

What:
You are a resident of Starlight Kingdom . ( Or one of the previous characters you played)

When: February 15th 12PM EST/11AM CST. This will end at 3PM EST.

Where: This RP will have a ChaRP room once it's ready.

HOW: This is a Action High Fantasy ChaRP with improvised GMing. That means you should interact with each other. There are definitely going to be moments where you can work together ( or against each other depending on who you plan to play). Taerell.jpgName: Taerell Willand
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Class: Fighter
Fighting Style: Protect
Background: Folk Hero

Skills: Acrobatics, Animal Handling, Perception and Survival
Armor and Weapon Proficiencies: All armor, shields, simple and martial weapons.
Appearance: A white-skinned girl, with middle black hair, deep green eyes, short height, medium build with nice curves.
Characteristics: A helpful, newbie hero who despite trying to do good deeds and fight for the people, has an inherent clumsiness getting in the way.

Background: Taerell Willand lost her parents when she was little and the whole townsfolk became her family. Even as a child, she had always displayed an unusual kindness to both other people and animals but, alongside it an enormous clumsiness that never went away. The child managed to break glasses, pots, arrows and even the well’s bucket rope had once parted in the poor girl's hand.
Taerell grew up like this, always apologizing for being a nuisance and breaking stuff she never had the intention to break.
One day, however, she noticed a strong sound coming from far, approaching the town and went to see what it was. To her absolute surprise, a stampede of buffaloes, that Taerell had no idea where it had come from, was about to flatten the town and everyone she cared about! The girl couldn't, wouldn't let this happen. She took up the first thing she saw and went to confront the stampede… with a rock.
Not caring about how she might be run over, without thinking, Taerell threw the rock in the direction of the buffaloes. Or at least she had planned to. Her clumsiness kicked in and the rock didn't even pass close to the animals.
However, it hit a pile of wood and unlodged some of them, causing the wood to fall over, blocking the buffaloes path and causing them to halt movement in surprise. Taerell had just, accidentally, saved her hometown...
Quick enough, the tales of her feat travelled far and the townspeople started seeing her as a hero. Taerell who hadn't given much thought to it, upon being called time and time again to help people, started seeing herself as something more than a clumsy girl, a defender of people perhaps.
Now, she travels from place to place assisting townsfolk on whatever they wish her to. She is known around, as a fair and kind lady who helps the weak and poor. The clumsiness never left her though. Sometimes it assists in her adventures, other times it just makes a situation even worse.

One phrase summary: Farm girl becomes the clumsiest hero ever but, at least her heart is in the right place.

Adalheidis Hinriksdottir

Adalheidis is the daughter of the chieftain of the Hjalmar people. They are forest-dwelling warriors who have had tense relations with the Starlight Kingdom in the past. But now Thane Hinrik wants to make peace with King Coello, and to this end, he has sent Adalheidis with a negotiating party seeking to offer her in marriage to his son the Prince, whether she likes the idea or not.

To say that things did not go according to plan is quite the understatement. But the failure of one plan leaves an opening for another, and thus far it seems that Adalheidis has managed to extricate herself from the unwanted marriage and make a proposal of her own--to bring the lovely and wise Milenia Destin back to Hjalmar as a new advisor to her father's court, and with a little luck, perhaps something more.

Though she managed to navigate her people through the perils of the conflict between the Witch and the Dragon Queen and steer the situation toward what seems to be a happy conclusion, it fell to her to represent Hjalmar at the upcoming wedding of the King of the Starlight Kingdom and the woman who had been the Dragon Queen.

A formality it would seem, but then the Witch would also be attending the wedding...

Name: Aerys of Aposynne
Age: 35
Personality: Aerys is an ambitious and willful lord who is eager to gain power at the expense of the Royal Family, whom he considers to be too daft and incompetent to be worthy of rule.

Also, he hates witches. Despises them. Or at least one in particular. Mainly, because she got in the way of his best chance to seize the throne, and well...she turned him into a pug.

1609112986250.png

1613232199250.pngName: Kaladra of Aposynne
Age: 31
Personality: Kaladra is cunning and manipulative and, if anything, even more ambitious than her husband, especially now that her husband is a helpless little dog.

But what can even the greatest cunning do against a Witch for whom humans are but playthings?

1613232288530.pngName: Cerys Adi-Tziyona
Age: 11
Gender: Female
Background: Cerys is a cousin to the Prince. Her mother died in childbirth, and her father died of wounds suffered in battle, leading the nation's army against a rival kingdom that saw King Coello's disappearance as an opportunity to conquer the Starlight Kingdom.

She is now a ward of the the House of Aposynne, though Aerys and Kaladra farmed her out to nannies to raise. She has lived a sheltered life, and is unaware of their ambitions to rule the Kingdom.

She is not exactly an heir to the throne, but...

Personality: Cerys is intelligent but naive, and tends to see the good in people rather than the evil they hide. She has no desire to rule the Starlight Kingdom. In fact the prospect is rather terrifying to her. She would much rather indulge her curiosity in the Library, or find peace in the beauty of the royal gardens.

I might be a bit late for this. Bigtime apologies, since most of the characters are mine! I'll join as soon as I can.

Name: Prince Henry Coello
Nicknames: Floppykins, Prince Dreamy, Prince Jackass,
Age: 20
Appearance:
1603727302396.png

Prince Henry is clean shaven and stands at a regal tall six feet tall. He dresses himself well and loves to come across nicer than he is with a perpetual smile and always carry some sort of flowers. He also has a scar across his hand from an incident with a cat.

1603727437794.png

Personality: Henry is the worst type of Prince. He can act kind and nice when it benefits him, but undeneath he is a spoiled, entitled asshole who is used to getting his way and doesn't care about others. He says it's a quirk and not a personality flaw. However, recently, he has learned how to show some empathy as well as caring, though.... he still has stuff to learn.

Bio: Known facts: He was a rabbit turned by a witch into a prince due to the King being unable to have children. Recently he became a shapeshifter who stays human. He was betrothed to a lesbian and had his soon to be mother in law interested but that resolved itself and she is now marrying his dad. He doesn't have much of a choice in attending the wedding.

Extra: He's bi.

Name: Adam Daniel Robert Brandon Maxwell Knight
Nickname: Unknown
Age: Looks in his 20s
Appearance: In his mortal form, he has medium brown hair along with the most spectcular blue eyes that you could imagine. He has a nice sculpted face and has a faint aftershadow. He typically wears a gray fedora on his head along with a surfboard necklace and a watch. His attire consists of a gray dress shirt, black jeans and dress shoes. He towers most mortals being seven feet tall. He sometimes carries his hero sword by his side.
Screenshot 2021-02-14 at 8.12.20 PM.png
Personality: He is a man who is kind to all of the people he meets, even if they have done bad things in the past. He however also is incredibly forgetful due to the nature of being a time traveler ( despite being a "god of knowledge") can't tell you many details. He also doesn't exist on a linear timeline so he is often hopping to events in the past making him come off a strange to anyone he encounters.
Bio: Known Facts: Not much really except he came to be from the kingdom in the future. He also knows Molly because she will be his future mother in law. He also comes from a line of Greek Gods and angels.... which you know tells what strangest the kingdom will come up too. It is however uncertain if he is a descendant of the King or the Prince.
Extra: Due to the nature of time travel, his appearance has shifted and he doesn't know why.

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
Today was a happy day ( no matter if it was happy for you or not is a matter of opinion). It was the wedding of the King and his newest lover, the Dragon Queen. Everyone who is anyone was attending ( no matter if they wanted to or not)/. The sky was beautiful. The bride was radiant..... and nothing can make it go wrong. (Probably. Maybe)

  • Diana:
Milenia did not want to be at this wedding, but as it was officially her last acting day as advisor, it was her duty to at least make sure everything went as smoothly as it could. Or at the very least, be there to show her support for the country. Instead of her her simple working robes, today she was dressed to the nines in an elegant gown of blue silk and her hair pulled up into a cascade of curls.

  • Loveless:
Taerell was both there just to see off the happy couple and be on watch in case someone tried to mess things up again. At this point, she had recovered her sword back from the depths of the castle and was standing by the edges of the crowd with her typical adventuring gear. This was not just a party, it was part work so no party clothing, even so, because nothing a farm girl owned would make it justice in an event like this.

  • Zarko Straadi:
Adalheidis was also dressed to the nines--but for her this meant silver-plated chainmail with gilded accents, matching helmet, and a black and silver cape collared with the fur of a Silver Direwolf. Her retinue were similarly attired, and all wore necklaces of amber beads carved with runes intended to ward against magic.

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
Prince Henry didn't want to be here. Sure, it was his dad's wedding and sure it was nice to not be betrothed, but that didn't mean he had to like it. Weddings were often long and boring. It was the one human thing he couldn't wrap his head around. Why did they go through this whole ordeal to just procreate and sit on a throne? Nobody would question royalty if there wasn''t a wedding. Plus, he hated the wedding atire, he liked his normal outfit, not this irriating suit, so he fidgeted in his seat. " You look nice," he told Millenia

  • Zarko Straadi:
Cerys wore a white gown embellished with pearls, and a gauzy white hooded cape. Her blue eyes were bright with expectation--everyone and everything just looked ever so splendid, and what could be better for the Kingdom than a marriage of true love as a happy ending for the travails the land had suffered of late?

  • Diana:
"Thank you, Your Highness," she replied automatically, not thinking much about it. Mostly, she was concerned with keeping an eye on the guests, despite the fact she wasn't one of the castle guard. Something was inevitably going to go wrong though and it left her feelings anxious!

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
The Prince also had made sure that he had brought the pug with him and the wand, mostly because he didn't trust. He wondered if the witch would ever turn their poor captain of the guard back to an adult. " You're welcome," he replied back to her.

  • Zarko Straadi:
Kaladra glanced down at her young ward's joyous expression, and managed a smile for the girl. She avoided looking toward her husband, doubly-imprisoned, first as a dog, then as the Prince's pet. Best not to look at the Prince, lest she be unable to keep up the front required for this occasion.

  • Loveless:
Taerell was really just standing there and keeping watch, as if she was a guard, which she wasn't, she was just an adventurer. Thooough it also wasn't as if she had made any real friends during that whole thing. Maybe the dragon queen herself had been the closest person that she had gotten to. Welp, thinking of that was a bit upsetting...

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
There was a loud thud as someone literally fell from a portal in the sky. He would cough and get up. " I really really should work on landing on my feet."

  • Diana:
And there it was! Milenia was certain she was cursed. She sighed heavily, signaling with a finger for newly hired royal guard to surround the uninvited guest and hopefully take him away before anything stranger happened.

  • Zarko Straadi:
Adalheidis stole a glance in Milenia's direction. She might not agree with the Prince on too many things, but one thing was beyond dispute: Milenia really did look nice. Very nice indeed. At the sudden sound, her hand went to the hilt of her sword. "Nine Hells!" The man was very strangely dressed, and looked like he might even have a bit of Giant in his family lineage.

  • Loveless:
Taerell took notice of the sudden sound of impact and was shocked to see a man in the ground! So as any adventurer worth their gear would do, she rushed on over to see what that was about, stumbling a bit somewhere but not falling this time. "Sir, are you alright?? Should I call a healer?", she would have tried to help him up buuuut there's a bunch of guards on the way of that now.

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
Adam took in his surroundings for a second. Okay, so definitely the past. That was a good thing to know. A wedding. Oh fuck, weddings were so many in the past. " I'm fine, thanks for asking." Okay, guests that should help. Okay, adventurer, pug..... oh boy.

  • Zarko Straadi:
Cerys gasped at the sight of the stranger. She looked to Milenia; of all the grownups in charge of the Kingdom, the Royal Advisor was the one she trusted most, and as always, she seemed to have things well in hand. She felt a pang of sadness and worry. Lady Milenia was going to be leaving soon, to join the warriors from the North. The Wedding was supposed to put the Kingdom on a secure footing, and perhaps a new Advisor could be found. But men inexplicably falling out of the sky on this of all days didn't seem like a good sign of things to come...

  • Diana:
Milenia didn't have magic or a weapon, or honestly had any sort of combat training whatsoever, but she was very good at staying calm and using her words in a could-be crisis. (And really no one else was going to take charge if she didn't!0 So, the royal advisor left the Prince's side to deal with this potential new menace. "State your business here, please, or the royal guard will be taking you for a tour of the dungeons. Unless, of course, you can provide an invitation..." she asked Adam.

  • Loveless:
Taerell was relieved to hear that the mysterious man in the floor was at least okay from whichever it is that impact was about. Soo she wasn't paying that much attention... But then Milenia came around and demanded to know what he was here for, which felt fair, though the threat about the dungeons seemed a bit too much for the farm girl. She didn't say it though, just having a concerned 'is this really necessary?' sort of look in her face. But maybe this was the witch disguised sooo, she guessed that could make sense?? But if not they were just being terribly rude hosts.

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
Adam would look back at her. " Well, that's a funny story. I don't exactly know. I just know that I usually wind up where I need to be, but the details are always a bit foggy. Ahh, an invitation.... let me see." He had no clue if he had one of those. Well, might as well check his pockets. He would pull out a stop watch, a cell phone, a book, a set of keys and finally after a bunch of other things ( if you can name it, he pulled it out, including a kitchen sink) , " Ahh, here it is.... but it's torn. Hope that doesn't matter." It was wet, old, weathered but it was certainly an invitation to this wedding.

  • Zarko Straadi:
"If I may ask, good sir," Adalheidis said, rising from her chair, "For what sort of things are you usually needed?"

  • Zarko Straadi:
That seemed to Cerys to be a very good question. But an even better question: how did he fit all those things in his pockets? And what WERE they?!

  • Loveless:
Taerell watched as the man took seemingly impossible objects from what was really just his pocket, one after the other, and then finally what was the invitation to the wedding buuuut also not? It looked like that invitation had been through a lot, and when she said a lot she really freaking meant it. Caught in trying to make sense of everything the adventurer's brain just kind of froze as she stood there with a little continuous 'uhhhh' leaving her mouth.

  • Diana:
Much to Milenia's regret, if he had an invitation, he was officially invited... Holding back another sigh, she waved off the pack of guards. "Whatever you're here for, please, I beg you, do not make a mess of this wedding." Even as she said it, she knew she probably doomed the whole event! "...I need a glass of mulled wine!"

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
Adam would look over at her. " Generally speaking, making sure certain fixed historical events aren't altered in a way that damages the future. Vaguely speaking, a bit of this and that. I don't exactly come with a to do list." He would shove everything but the invite back in his pocket. " I guess this isn't actually a wedding outfit. One second." He would move his hand and back and before them, his normal weird clothing become a quite fancy blue wedding medieval attire. " Oh. This isn't magic by the way. I just wear some unique clothes. Which also reminds me ..... if I'm right.... 5, 4,3, 2,

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
As Adam said 1, Entering the wedding was the witch. She came in an emerald green ball gown that fit her perfectly. Her usual black hat was replaced by a green one and she wore red high heels.

  • Zarko Straadi:
Nine Hells! Adalheidis thought. Of course the man's answer was completely insane. But then, what wasn't, here in the Starlight Kingdom? Silently, she thanked the Gods and Goddesses that she'd managed to dodge the prospect of betrothal to the Prince thus far.

  • Loveless:
Before Taerell could have properly processed the super pocket situation, the man had then re-stored everything back inside and changed clothes as if was nothing! And to make it worse, he was also saying this was not magic. "H-how???" Was everything the adventurer could mutter before he was counting down and that someone had actually dared to show up for the wedding. After everything that she had seen and everything that she had heard about, there was no containing the fury that filled up her deep green eyes as the farm girl immediately went for a sprint towards the witch's direction. "What in the world are YOU even doing here??!", with an accusatory tone that dripped metaphorical poison.

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
" You know, a bit of this and that, attending a wedding."

  • Diana:
There was always that twist of dread in Milenia's stomach whenever the witch appeared, even when she knew the witch had likely been invited to the wedding. The only one who concerned her more than the witch was that awful Pug Aerys who had taken to trying to trip her down stairs when he wasn't pretending to be an innocent nitwit. Naturally, Milenia made a beeline for the buffet and poured herself a hefty goblet of wine and swallowed half of it before she could take another breath.

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
The witch would pull out an invite.... ( covered in some red stuff). " I do have an invite."

  • Loveless:
Taerell had to bite down her lip to hold back an unkind remark. Or just the boiling huge temptation to straight punch the witch in the face despite knowing that would probably not do much, and set her off badly. Buffing with anger, she could only stutter through half said sentences as she remembered very well the dragon queen's story and only felt like this was an insult to injury and extremely disrespectful of a move to make. That witch really had no ounce of decency to her, had she? ...Nope, and maybe she had killed somebody for that invitation too. Oh Lord, please have mercy.

  • Zarko Straadi:
Kaladra glanced down at Cerys, who was now looking up at her with wide eyes. She gave the girl a subtle nod. What if she doesn't like it? Cerys thought. But there was no time for such worries. [Flashback: "You must. You are the only one who can do it. It is of the utmost importance that our Kingdom find favor with her," Kaladra said. "This could be the most important act of diplomacy in our Kingdom's history. You could well be remembered as the one who saved us all!"
    [/flashback]

  • Zarko Straadi:
Cerys nervously picked up the package, wrapped in fine embroidered silk. She closed her eyes, took several deep breaths, then gathered her courage and brought it to the Witch. She gave the mystic woman her best curtsy. "Milady, you...you honor us with your presence. P-please take this gift on behalf of the Starlight Kingdom."

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
The witch raised an eyebrow. " Why thank you," she said, looking over at the fidt and taking it, curiously. Nobody had ever gotten her a gift..... which was new. She opened it curiously.

  • Zarko Straadi:
Inside was an ebony box containing a necklace of finely wrought gold and platinum roses interspersed with faceted ruby teardrops.

  • Loveless:
Taerell watched this happen with nothing but disbelief and her mouth hanging open, then eventually declared 'fuck this bullshit' and went to join Milenia by the wine section of the buffet. Not to drink anything, just to take her righteous anger and disapproval somewhere else. She did kind of stumble near the table and had to lean on it to keep herself from falling though, making it rattle a bit.

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
The witch stared at the necklace and would place it around her neck. " Well, it does complete this outfit."

  • Diana:
By this point Milenia had gone through at least three goblets of mulled wine, sharing much of Taerell's opinions. Milenia couldn't blame Cerys for keeping the peace with a gift, though. It was a very good strategy. "Hic!" she hiccupped and slapped her hand over her mouth with a soft giggle. How inappropriate!

  • Zarko Straadi:
Kaladra watched as the Witch put the necklace on. The child did not know it, but the necklace was coated in a potent contact poison. Kaladra had learned from survivors of the encounter with the Dragon Queen that the Witch feared poison. It seemed to be her only potential vulnerability. And if things worked as intended, the Witch's curse on her husband would perish with her, and Aerys would be restored.

  • Loveless:
Taerell didn't mind the hiccup, she was raised on a farm after all. However, she did see this as a green light to ramble, to which she would elaborate to Milenia in a low but strongly disgruntled tone: "So, not only is she allowed to mess with other people willy nilly, she can just waltz into the second attempt marriage of someone whose life she's completely ruined once and now we're giving her gifts?! And heck, I don't even think that that invitation is actually hers, what a load of bullcrap this is!", all of this was incredibly frustrating for the Lawful Good folk-hero who believes in justice and battling for the sake of the oppressed.

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
Adam felt a timeline shift. He could feel it the second the witch put on the necklace. " It just had to be poison. It couldn't be anything else," he mumbled under his breath.

  • Zarko Straadi:
Adalheidis could not blame the child for giving the Witch a gift, but she couldn't help but feel contempt for whoever had put her up to it. The Hjalmar at least would go down fighting, rather than offering cringing appeasement while hiding behind children. But--she really had only one job: get herself and her people through this wedding without being turned into animals or ending up in a war. And that meant, she had to keep her mouth shut for the time being. She pulled her hand away from the hilt of her sword and seated herself.

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
Adam would walk over to Kaladra. " This isn't going to work as you expect it too. Magic is and always had been something different from the caster, but spells don't break when the caster dies. Actually, quite the opposite. The spell becomes permanent, unbreakable even.

  • Zarko Straadi:
Cerys looked over at the adventurer-girl. Her words made it sound like it had been wrong to give the gift to the Witch. But...she's so powerful, no one can stop her. We have to make her like us, don't we? she thought.

  • Zarko Straadi:
"Whatever are you talking about?" Kaladra said to the stranger, wearing a flawless expression of innocence and incomprehension.

  • Diana:
"Honestly gifts have been used in disputes for eons, but at this point I hardly think any of it matters at all when the entire kingdom is completely cursed... I s'pose we're headed toward the end days." Milenia was very clearly tipsy by now, and thus the thought of the kingdom falling to ruin and inevitable death despite all her hard work was incredibly funny -- for about two seconds. Dread and horror suddenly took over and the drunken Milenia burst into tears. All this for absolutely nothing! Life was meaningless!

  • Zarko Straadi:
At the Prince's feet, Aerys growled at the Witch, but there was nothing he could do. He had been helpless against her as a man, so how could he fight her as a tiny, useless dog?

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
Adam just sighed. " It's your funeral. I figured a warning would suffice. As much as the witch as caused harm, she's... needed. Though if records are right, you really want the kingdom, but you should know.... power has always been a tricky thing. Sometimes to get what you want, you sacrifice a lot along the way."

  • Zarko Straadi:
"If you need her so much, take her with you whence you came," Kaladra said. "Perhaps she would make you a fine bride."

  • Zarko Straadi:
Adalheidis turned to the sound of sobs, and saw Lady Milenia crying. She rose and headed to her side, putting a comforting hand on her shoulder. "It's going to be alright. We'll get through this. Even if we have to fight our way through."

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
Adam just let loose a heavy sigh. " Sorry, I'm already married to her daughter. Hence the care. But you already have a heart of.... you know, actually- I don't do this often." He would grab her shoulder. " I"m going to show you your future. You might get a little sick."

  • Loveless:
Taerell was in accordance with Milenia's words... until that awfully fatalistic ending. That twist had been a shock for her and immediately knocked her out of anger into something more akin to defiance and denial. "Wha- do you really think so?? It can't just end like this, can it?! After everything we've done, we shouldn't just accept defeat like that!" But just as she had managed to say that the woman was breaking down in tears. Normally Taerell would have just hugged her buuuut, farm girl and someone of higher standing- She hesitate and it was enough for someone else to handle it instead. "Yeah, what she said! If we believe that it's over then it's truly over, but not while there are people willing to try!"

  • Zarko Straadi:
"How dare you! Unhand me at once!" Kaladra shouted, but she could not pull away from his iron grip. "GUARDS!"

  • Diana:
"I wasn't made for chaos! This kingdom is chaos! I am the worst advisor in history, somehow!" The kind words were all well and nice, but the very Milenia was certain this was their fate. "Rabbits and witches and pugs and dragons and time traveling wizards...! Who can manage all of this!" Poor Adalheidis. Milenia thought. The woman had been the single solid structure in all this and now she had to see the collapse of a kingdom, and of Milenia's sanity on top of it!

  • Zarko Straadi:
"From all I have seen, you have never failed to give wise advice," Adalheidis said. "You cannot expect yourself to control forces beyond mortal ken, and if those you advise choose to ignore your wisdom, the fault for failure is theirs. Do not hold yourself to the standards of a Goddess."

  • Loveless:
Taerell wasn't that great with words, so she simply gave out agreeing and reassuring nods the whole time, still wondering if that hug would be too much or not.

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
Adam just let loose a sigh and move his hands and the guards froze. Literally in place. " Nobody ever did bother to ask how I do the things I do."

  • Diana:
"It would take a whole goddess!" sobbed Milenia, to busy with her tears to notice the word of Adam!

  • Loveless:
Taerell could not contain it and soon she had wrapped both Milenia and Adelheidis in a hug, tapping the sobbing woman on her back gently "There, there... Just put it all out, miss, you'll feel much better afterwards."

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
The prince had been quietly watched and observing. " So, I really hate to ruin this moment, but I think future guy was saying that Kaladra poisoned the witch and I think he's a god, I'm uncertain about the second part."

  • Zarko Straadi:
Cerys snapped her head toward Kaladra's shout, and saw the man--Wizard, Warlock, or something else--freeze the guards. So just when it seemed the Kingdom might have made peace with the Witch, now there was a new enemy? "Please sir! Don't attack us!" she said. Then the Prince spoke, and Cerys' jaw dropped in undisguised horror.

  • Zarko Straadi:
"And you would believe him, Your Highness?" Kaladra protested. "Some new supernatural menace from who knows where?"

  • Loveless:
Taerell had initially glared daggers at the Prince for interrupting Milenia's venting moment. Buut that did sound like super important information... "But if everything's already happened, what can we even do about it?", she had asked, still patting the woman's back in an afterthought.

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
Adam really was starting to find this woman get on his nerves. " And this is why I abolished the kingdom part in the future," he mumbled under his breath. " As for the second part, I'm really not."

  • Zarko Straadi:
"You're here to abolish the Kingdom?" Kaladra said. "Then you confess that you are our enemy! So are you in league with the Witch, or is it you who came here to poison her, since you said she would be 'needed?' Get rid of her, then you can seize power, is that it?"

  • Diana:
Milenia ceased her crying if only for Adalheidis and Taerell and tried to smooth her tears away. ...this chaos was getting too far wasnt it, and she was still advisor and she at least needed to try, didnt she? "THIS CAN BE EASILY SOLVE," she shouted, without meaning to. Immediately she softened her voice. "...just by asking Cerys who gave her the idea to gift the necklace and where it came from? The girl is an angel, she wouldn't harm bug."

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
Adam just let loose another heavy sigh. " Boy, you sure do like to twist words around. I did suppose that is in the job description though. As for everything you are saying...." Adam would pull out a book from his pocket. " Nope, nope. it's funny that history books always seem to get the terrible women accurate." On the page he was on was the entire scheme of the woman. he just choose not to read it aloud.

  • Loveless:
"I've been near Milenia and the Prince enough to know I can trust what they say!", Taerell announced for, no one in particular, "And that's really it, so if Milenia is saying there's more to this than just those two words and she can solve this, I have no reason to not believe her.", ending it with a determined, decided nod.

  • Zarko Straadi:
"A Wizard conjures a book that says what he wants it to say," Kaladra replied. "Not quite as impressive as the other things you pulled from your pockets. As if you couldn't poison a necklace at will."

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
" I literally took a book out of my pocket."

  • Zarko Straadi:
By now, tears were streaming down Cerys' face. She looked from the Witch to the Wizard and Kaladra--then saw all eyes start falling to her. If I tell them, and the Witch survives, what if she decides to destroy the Kingdom? But...I shouldn't...want her to die either...should I? "Yes...Lady Kaladra...gave it to me but...but I-I don't know how it got poisoned!" She turned to the Witch. "I'm so sorry! She said I'd be helping make peace!"

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
The Prince looked over at her. " I believe her but I... we need to do something."

  • Zarko Straadi:
Cerys felt trapped. On the one hand, the thought that she might have been used to try to kill someone made her want to throw up. On the other hand, the Adventurer had a point. Since the Witch's first appearance, fear of her had spread through the kingdom. Her intentions were cryptic, and her power absolute. Who wouldn't be afraid of such a force? And what would she do to the Kingdom if she survived?

  • Zarko Straadi:
Cerys turned to Milenia with pleading eyes. "What should I do?"

  • Loveless:
"What can we even do against something like poison?", Taerell asked in mild-panic, yes she had wanted the witch to pay for what she had done but-- Not like this, like being stripped of her powers and rotting in the dungeon way! Or paying for it with public service way! Not death and definitely not something as cowardly as poisoning!

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
Adam looked over at them. " This might be a bad time to mention this.... but the witch has had wards up that keep the forest creatures out but on the event of her death......well, they would just trap the whole of the kingdom. I say we got.... approximately.... three hours to save her. There is something in the castle... but well..... it's kind of a maze."

  • LuckycoolHawk9:
The King and the Dragon Queen would arrive.... just in time for them to hear that. " .... This is going to be a long wedding." Stayed tuned for part 2 of The Wedding of King Coelloe and The Dragon Queen, coming March 1st.
