MEETING OF KINGS
JULY 23rd @ 12PM Noon Central Time

In 2020 the world ends. No one was surprised.

For the next 100 years, things are in a state of chaos as countries fall, lands burn, and billions of people die. Eventually nature begins to take over derelict cities and the survivors try to bring order and community back to the world. New territories, clans, and countries have formed, all quite different but each sharing the same problem - resources.

A collection of local territories have agreed to a peaceful meeting to discuss who "owns" a freshwater lake. If they agree to share, they can become the largest alliance in the area. Most are hoping this weekend meeting goes well, but there are some out there that want to see it fail.

EVENT INFO

WHO: Everyone is invited! Character Bios/Pics are not required, but totally encouraged! Post 'em if you got 'em.

WHAT: This is a post apocalypse setting! You are part of one of these factions here for a peace agreement meeting. What role you play in this meeting is up to you. You might be the leader of the faction, part of the travel party, or someone else entirely.

WHEN: JULY 23rd - THURSDAY @ 12PM NOON CENTRAL TIME. Ending @ 3PM.

WHERE: Join us in the MEETING OF KINGS chat room. You'll find the link to our chats in the CHAT tab when it's time to play.

HOW: This is an ACTION ROLEPLAY WITH IMPROVISATIONAL GAME MASTERING. That means the object of this roleplay is to interact with other characters, and from those interactions I will create a plot and story around you. At a certain point in the roleplay things are going to go horribly wrong. How your characters reaction and respond will determine whether or not they survive! NOTE: Actions have in game consequences, so I wouldn't recommend outlandish or lolrandom behaviors!

My roleplays are always NEWBIE FRIENDLY so even if you are terrible at roleplay or have never participated in a ChaRP before, this will be easy for you to get involved in. :D Ask questions, let me know when you need help. I often give tips and direction out of character in the main chat room when people need a little direction.

EASY CHARP TIPS!

Try to show up a good 10 to 15 minutes before the ChaRP is to begin. That way you can read up on any important info, and it makes it easier for your GM to know how to start off the ChaRP when there's a head count.

Don't worry if another player is doing something similar to your idea. DO IT ANYWAY! Similarities and things in common happen in real life too. Everyone also plays differently, so two characters who are both "sweet and shy" will still end up being totally unique people. Two assassins could create a fun and interesting conflict!

Talking to other players about their character before the roleplay is a GREAT way to create connections and background for your own!

Post SHORT AND FAST. Charps are very quick pace and contain a LOT of players. Players can't wait 20 minutes for you to write a wall of text, and if there's too much text they won't be able to read it fast enough and will MISS details. If it takes you longer than two minutes to type your post, you are taking too long and might get lost in the action. This is an exercise in quick and concise writing!

Make sure your character name is mentioned in every post, close to the start of it if possible. This is especially helpful when there's many players, so we know who is playing what character.

Like in Real Life, a character may not be able to acknowledge or notice your character immediately because they are engaged in doing something else. (For example a new character walking in to the room, but the other characters arguing about muffins and do not see them.) Don't get discouraged if you go can't get someone to interact with you right away. Just keep posting and doing actions with your character, or even approach others who also seem to be idle and it WILL happen.

Do not take events in the roleplay personally or assume that bad reactions are because they think you/your character sucks. Everyone is playing a character and reacting to things as their character would!

This roleplay is TOMORROW! 8D

This roleplay has a "serious" vibe going, so think of your favorite dramatic post apocalyptic action movies. The world was destroyed a hundred years ago and since then life has been rough.

HOT TIP: Charping is in real time, so you want to type BRIEF AND FAST. Keep your posts under 10 sentences as long posts mean details can be missed.
  • Diana:
REMEMBER: Write your character's name in the first sentence, so we know who you're playing. Using color code can help tell the difference between characters too!

We open to a big camp by the lake, taking up residence in what must've been some kind of vacation cabins a hundred years ago. Most of the buildings have practically fallen apart or were gutted, but the skeletons of the old buildings provided the perfect "designated zones" for the different tribes that came to attend the talks. A big bonfire was being built in the center of the groupings, preparing for the evening discussions.

  • The Mood is Write:
Pygmy hummed as she helped make a pile of extra firewood. She wasn't super strong, but everyone was expected to help out, at least the people from her tribe. Anyone who didn't help when they were perfectly able to do something earned a bad reputation, and rightfully so, she thought. Then again, she was a good girl. Everyone worked together, so everyone would thrive together. Those who worked outside of this mantra and tried to leave brought ruin.

Finn Harlowe would just sit down and watch everyone do their thing. He was far too unmotivated to even get up and think about what to do. The boy ran on willpower and motivation, if something didn't seem beneficial to himself then what was the point.
  • The Mood is Write:
Pgymy noticed something dreadful. Someone was just sitting and watching! She frowned, then grabbed too much wood and paused beside Finn. "Could you get some of this, please? It's a little too heavy." Hopefully this would help the stranger avoid getting into trouble!
  • Mglo:
Nissin was eager to learn about the ways of the other tribes. Watched for the little signs. He'd been unfortunate to be born with good fortune, which meant he served the King of his tribe directly. His King was a pain in the ass though. He neared the building of the bonfire and planned to stand there till someone gave him an order which is why he instinctively took some of the wood and said, "ye sure." Three pieces in he noticed they hadn't been talking to him.
  • The Mood is Write:
"Oh!" Pygmy blinked in surprise as someone else took the wood, and she smiled brightly at them. "Thank you!" It was good to see a stranger help, one she hadn't even been prompting, really.
  • Diana:
Katra was a small thing, which made it really easy for her to move about the camp without anyone realizing she was actually one of the tribal leaders, especially when most thought the giant woman that always lurked nearby was the actual tribe leader. Decked out in a heavy cloak she watched curiously as people worked on building the bonfire.
  • AnxiousEnby:
Finn would just shrug Pygmy off when she asked him to take the wood, glad someone else took it. He sighed and looked up at the sky, it was stunning today.
  • The Mood is Write:
The person Pygmy asked actually ignored her. Her nose wrinkled, but she shook her head. She couldn't believe this person! But... someone else was helping too, which was good. "I think we're almost done with the bonfire, but we're going to need some cooking fires, too," she said as she began to put the wood she'd brought into place.

One of Finn's tribesmen gave him a dirty look. Apparently that kid was often a lazy problem child. "Do something useful you little twerp!"
  • Mglo:
"Ah my bad, my bad," Nissin looked to the quiet one before he set the wood down haphazardly. He yawned and nodded to the happy one, "I"m Nissin. What tribe are you two from?
  • AnxiousEnby:
Finn scoffed and mumbled "Hag" under his breath. He went over and found his pet cat which he called 'Dews'. Dews gently climbed onto his shoulder and sat down, purring happily. He then ignored what the tribesman had said to him, walking away from the busier parts in town.
  • The Mood is Write:
"You're fine! I'm Pygmy, from the Mishander tribe! We're named after the name that our home used to be called, to honor its history." She grinned, then scowled as she noticed Finn's bad attitude. He was going to be trouble. Why was he here, if he was someone so troublesome? She shook her head and tried to ignore it. She helped arrange the wood he'd carried for her, then stood and stretched. "I'm going to around and see if anyone else needs help. Want to come with?"

  • Ascendant Aegis:
Commander Anderson would enter the small camp, huffing quietly. Despite the agreement to a peaceful settlement; neither she, nor the other members of the Iron Wall, trusted any of their neighbors. As such, she had arrived in her armor and half-cape; a heavy set of trauma plates and steel pounded together in the rough approximation of a man. She looked around at the tribals with a mixture of distrust and disdain; though, for now, her blade would stay sheathed on her hip. The Commander towered over the others, both as a result of her unnaturally large size and her bulky armor, as she strode to the center of the clearing and glanced around.
  • AnxiousEnby:
Finn watched as his cat Dews jumped off his right shoulder and ran towards Commander Anderson. Dews mewed up at her and swayed her tail as she sat down.
  • Mglo:
"Ye, sure," Nissin told Pygmy, shrugging away the behavior of the silent one. He reminded him of his tribe's king. Nissin noticed a heavy cloak swing by but his attention was quickly taken by the armored one that strode near. "Look at that o-" he tripped, but Nissin was fortunate enough to quickly regain his balance.
  • Diana:
An old crone was stomping around, bossing anyone she could see. Demanding people set up chairs, and the long tables that'd be used for the discussion. She kicked at a lazy child, and flipped some tall man off. "Hurry up now! Talks gonna begin soon, and we ain't wasting no more time on your lazy asses!" The Crone was from the tribe that organized these talks, but clearly didn't have much respect for the people there.
  • Diana:
"What a pompous twat," exclaimed the very tall woman behind Katra. Katra snorted underneath her cloak. She hadn't actually met any of the tribal leaders yet, but watching most of their people had been an amusing experience so far. They were going to all be under her banner soon enough, anyway.
  • The Mood is Write:
"Huh?" Pygmy looked up, then stared at the armored person. "Iron Wall...?" she gaped. She'd heard about them. People spoke of them in hushed tones. She jerked at the Crone's words, then called out to her, "What jobs are short on people?"
  • AnxiousEnby:
Dews continued to look at the commander, climbing up onto her shoulder and licking her face. The boy would pout as he went after his curious kitty, trying to get her off the tall person but he was too small and couldnt get high enough "Dews, get here this instant" he ordered the cat, scoffing as she ignored him.
  • Ascendant Aegis:
The absolute tower of humanity that was Anderson stared at the old lady raising a ruckus, keeping her thoughts to herself as her eyes slowly swept across the motley collection. She had almost forgot how bad it was on the Surface, but the-- ugh, a surface creature had jumped on her. A brief thought of tearing it asunder crossed her mind, but considering the circumstances, decided against it. A heavily armored gauntlet would reach up to grab the cat, her hand easily encompassing the small creature, as she lifted it up into the air with small frown and set it on the ground. She became briefly aware of the eyes on her, and slowly began to regret not bringing her helmet.. or a personal guard unit.
  • Mglo:
Nissin liked the old crone. To the point and useful, and she was right too. "Indeed a pompous twat," he agreed with the speaker, "people like that get things done." Admiration lit his eyes and he wondered if his King could be replaced... the tribe might do better. He gave Katra and Pygmy pat on the back and pointed to some chairs, "let's go!"
  • Diana:
Katra didn't mind a pat on the back, but her extra tall lady guardian did look about ready to pick up Nissin and toss them into the fire. The Lady guardian seemed to be about as tolorant as the Commander over there.
  • The Mood is Write:
Pygmy nodded and got to it, eager to be of help, only to pause and look up at the big lady guardian. "You help, too!" she urged. "If you have time to be grumpy, you have time to help!" Her smile as bright and cheerful.
  • AnxiousEnby:
Dews would hiss when she was placed on the ground, looking up at the women with a glare in her eyes. She wanted to play some more. The grey kitty would see Finn and walked back over to him, slowly climbing back onto his shoulder. Dews didn't like Finn but he was the only human that gave her food.
  • Diana:
Someone brought out a great big GONG, owned by the hosting tribe. It looked like the sort of thing used in an ancient symphony. But just as one of the big burly men were about to hit the gong and alert everyone in the camp to come begin the talks, a swarm of shapes came screaming and running out of the forests! At first sight they could've been bears, but as they reached the camp with long spears and rusted old guns, it was clear... THE CRAZY MURDER BEARS TRIBE IS ATTACKING.
  • The Mood is Write:
Pygmy gaped in shock, then cupped her hands around her mouth. "FIGHTERS TO FORE! EVACUATE NONFIGHTERS TO THE APPOINTED PLACE!" The Mishanders always had emergency plans, and this was within them.
  • Ascendant Aegis:
Anderson let out a long, soft sigh.
  • Mglo:
Nissin armed himself with a chair, throwing it reactively without aim. Fortunately for him it landed on the face of a bear-like attacker. The sound of Pygmy's orders reminded him that he should be running to his king. Instead, he picked up another chair.
  • AnxiousEnby:
Dews saw what was happening and ran to hide behind Pygmy. She nuzzled her face against the humans feet and let out a soft purr, leaving finn alone and in a bad spot. She was more worried about food then him.
  • Diana:
Katra's guardian, the tall and intimidating Scarr pulled out a pistol and started shooting. "We need to evacuate to safety. The troops should've been outside the camp to prevent this." said Scarr. Katra wasn't going to argue, there were plenty of other people for the Crazy Murder Bears to be distracted with.
  • The Mood is Write:
Pygmy tripped as the cat interrupted her run to grab a spear and shield from one of her fellows who brought them to her. The shield was wood and leather, with several metal studs and spikes and a beautiful painting of a mitten-shaped landmass. The spear was about as tall as her, maybe a little more. Others joined her to make a phalynx.
  • Diana:
These Crazy Murder Bears lived up to their gruesome tribe name. People were nothing but bodies to them, one poor soul getting a SHIIIIIK of a blade and their head lopped right off. There was also an alarming amount of them and most were already covered in blood. If there were any other people from tribes camped outside of the meeting camp, they were surely d e a d.
  • AnxiousEnby:
The kitty would follow Pygmy as she walked off, not wanting to loose sight of her as she seemed like someone she could get food and attention from. She watched as Finn's head was lobbed off, letting out a purr of amusement, that was one less male to deal with!
  • Ascendant Aegis:
How did she know this was going to happen? --- With another exasperated sigh, Anderson would draw her blade; in reality, a retrofitted chainsaw blade fitted with a sword-like handle to create an unholy amalgamation that was equal parts sword and chainsaw. Revving the engine a few times and hearing the satisfying roar of blades ready to meet flesh, she took a heavy step backwards -- launching herself forwards at an unexpected speed for a heavily-armored woman of her size. She charged straight towards the Crazy Murder Bears, wonderful name by the way, and cleaved a person in two with an upwards slash. With her other hand, she would draw a flare-gun from her belt and fire a blinding, red light into the sky. The signal, in case something went wrong. From some distance away, everyone would hear a few notes from a bugle.
  • Mglo:
Nissin threw the chair and it landed. Looking around he saw how capable the tribes gathered were, well those that were still living. He bent over reaching for another chair as a sword swooshed over his head. It was then he remembered the knife at his calf. He pulled it out and blindly swung and stabbed, fortunately landing the sharp end on the right parts.
  • The Mood is Write:
The phalanx concentrated on defending the people who fled. Since they were a small unit, they were quick, and their spears gave them good reach. A few others came in with guns once the non-fighters had been taken care of for the most part, situated in a place that was easily defended from one side and hard to access from the others.
  • Diana:
Giant lady guardian Scarr made sure Katra was tucked away hidden under one of the old derelict cabins, before she took jumped out into the fray, shooting off her pistol when she could and hiding to reload when she needed to.
  • Diana:
These Crazy Murder Bears weren't letting people escape, because anyone that tried to leave the camp were being chased and hunted down. And now, those who weren't slashing people to bits were setting everything they could on fire! Old cabins, tents, cows, people. Fire everywhere!
  • AnxiousEnby:
Dews sat down to clean her front paw, watching as the humans fought each other. She didn't really know what the hell was going on so she observed from the distance. Humans really were strange characters
    Today at 2:16 PM
  • Ascendant Aegis:
From the edge of the camp, a small group of heavily-armored men emerged from the West of the camp, wearing half-capes and suits of armor similar to Anderson's. Wielding old rifles, chain-swords, and lances, and riding on similarly armored steeds. Some carried battle standards and flags on their lances, and they would immediately begin to charge upon spotting the Crazy Murder Bears. They would smash into the main group of raiders; impaling, blasting, and slashing away into the crazed bandits. They would focus on those targeting the cabins and unarmed, slowly carving a bloody trail to Anderson; who was currently surrounded by a large group of CMBs, shouting and cleaving away with her sword.
  • The Mood is Write:
Pygmy herself stabbed her spear into a particularly stubborn Crazy Bear. Once he was immobilized with the spear, the others killed him with theirs. A few shouts from others, and more people came up from helping get people to the designated safe area and started shooting at the Crazy Murder Bears with bows and crossbows—it was easier to make bolts and arrows than it as to get a hold of bullets, and crossbows had good power.
  • AnxiousEnby:
Dews would see one of the crazy murder bears coming her way, rushing off in a mixture of fear and confusion. She was rather fast and a small kitty in general so she could fit into tight spaces. Dews managed to get inside a crate that wasn't easy for the murder bears to get, looking around and noticing some knives. The kitty tilted her head before picking one up in her mouth. She eagerly threw it and it hit one in the head, them falling dead.
  • Mglo:
"Nissin! Nissin my boy!" said the King of the Deluxe tribe. As he made his way towards Nissin, his bodyguard crew in tow fighting off Crazy Bears. "Nissin my boy, stay near me," said the King as he clung to Nissin's waist. Nissin sighed, flinging his knife away lazily. The knife cut through the wind landing right between the eyes of a bloodied face as if thrown by a skilled fighter aimed to kill. "Nissin my fortunate boy, don't leave my side!"
  • The Mood is Write:
Spears withdrew from the bear, and then stabbed another that got too close to the safety zone, all while the non-fighting Mishanders prepared butcher knives and buckets of water for dealing with the fires and the corpses.
  • Ascendant Aegis:
The Iron Wall cavalry would cleave a bloody path to their leader, forming a whirlwind of flying body parts and sprays of blood as they furiously hacked and slashed through the Crazy Murder Bears. The as the rest began to scatter under the sustain assault of armored unit, a few cavalry men split off from the main group and rode down the retreating raiders, slashing them apart with no mercy. Anderson, now thoroughly splattered in blood, raised a triumphant warcry as she raised the impaled corpse of a raider into the sky. Letting the shredded corpse slide off of her blade and onto the ground, she sheathed her massive cutting implement and began walking towards the other leaders; a stern look on her face. "The Iron Wall will provide security for the duration of this... meeting."
  • Diana:
By the end of the hour long battle most of encampment was killed or mortally injured in battle. Even as far as a couple tribes being wiped out, as some betrayed the very tribes they swore to talk peace with and started killing at will. When the last of the Crazy Murder Bears escaped into the night, there were only four tribe representatives left. The Iron Wall, The Mishanders, The Deluxe Tribes, and... the mysterious Scarr and Katra who had not declared a tribe name at all. Even their hosts had been killed.
  • The Mood is Write:
Of those that survived, Michanders were still fairly numerous, though they'd suffered heavy losses as well. Many of the remnants began to move the dead away from the water to avoid polluting it, and then drained blood from them. The tribe leader was among the dead, having been a fighter, however his successor, determined beforehand, was present and stood with confidence, despite his sorrow.
  • The Mood is Write:
Tadpole, the Mishander leader, let out a heavy breath. "This has been a disaster. First, we the Mishanders thank the Iron Wall. Without them, the tragedy would have been far greater on all sides." He closed his eyes, then looked towards the dead. "My people are preparing the dead for processing. If any of you other tribes have specific rituals, we will leave the bodies, but if not, we are willing to process them for you and share the meat."
  • The Mood is Write:
Pygmy, covered in blood and exhausted, strung a Crazy Bear up by his feet from a tree and sliced his throat. Another came with a saw and sawed through the dead man's spine, and then Pygmy cut through the flesh to continue the post-mortem decapitation.
  • AnxiousEnby:
The kitty would stretch before leaving the crate, looking around in confusion. She would look around for any human that would have food as she was starting to feel hungry but all she could find was Tadpole. Dews let out a mew as she slowly approached him as she didn't like men but what choice did she have.
  • Diana:
On Scarr's beckoning Katra climbed out from under her hiding spot. Her big cloak had been singed, and she didn't look too comfortable with how many dead bodies were strewn all over the place. "This isn't going to make the discussions any easier, Scarr." Scarr agreed... and then had to step away and throw up because of the damn Mishanders and their butchering.
  • Mglo:
"What if they come back?" the King's voice trembled. What remained of the Deluxe Tribes were only a couple representatives of its Maruchan, Ottogi, and of course Nissin factions. Nissin, leader of the Nissin faction, was the only one of his kind. The King pulled on Nissin's clothes as he looked to the other factions and then to the Mishander leader as he spoke. But it was teh Ottogi leader who spoke on the Deluxe's behalf, "We of the Deluxe tribe thank you and accept your willingness." Maruchan nodded, though her eyes were on Iron Wall for their valiant efforts.
  • Ascendant Aegis:
"If they come once more, we shall crush them to dust. The Iron Wall does not tolerate senseless killing." She would reply in a low, clear voice, glancing over to the pile of dead bodies and dismembered limbs; products of the Iron Wall's handiwork. "They are little more than animals. I have no remorse in slaughtering them as such." She crossed her armored arms across her chest, glancing behind her as her men took up positions around the perimeter of the site. Her eyes caught onto the Mishanders, and she would frown slightly. Distasteful, but it was to be expected for these savages. "We should move on with our negotiations. With the loss of so many tribes, discussions should run more smoothly."
  • The Mood is Write:
Tadpole nodded, though his eyes watched Anderson, mostly because she had the most power of those present. "Agreed. Honestly, as long as everyone is willing to avoid polluting the water or overfishing, I do not see why we can't share. It is more practical than anyone attempting to keep ownership, and making too many demands would lessen our abilities to trust each other."

Once Scarr was done vomiting and rinsed out her mouth, she took up residence by the big gong, which, fortunately survived the battle. It was she who hit it with the big hammer to get the attention of everyone still living. "HEY, YOU CURSED FEW LIVING. I, SCARR OF THE GODDESS' CARAVAN, HEREBY START THESE DISCUSSIONS IN THE NAME OF MY GODDESS KATRA. SEND YOUR LEADERS FORTH AND LET YOUR TRIBESMEN CLEAN THIS MESS."

Dews would come to the discussion, sitting down and tilting her head, she just wanted food!

  • Mglo:
Nissin looked around for the old crone from earlier but was pulled along by the King of Deluxe who refused to risk being too far from fortune. What a pain in the ass (in a non-sexual way >:[ ). Ottogi led the way and Maruchan lagged behind. "King, sharing would be good, but Iron wall seems confident," Nissin whispered. "Nissin my boy! It'll be fine!" the King said as he pulled on Nissin's sleeve more firmly. The Deluxe Tribe reached the area and nudged the King forward. "Uh, right. King of the Deluxe Tribe present!" he announced doubtfully.

Tadpole, seemingly ignored, didn't seem to mind. Instead, he went forward on his own. "Tadpole of the Mishander Tribe! I introduce myself!"

The cat noticed an arm that seemed to have been chopped off when the killer bears attacked earlier. She got up and stared to eat the arm, tail swaying in satisfaction.

Katra did not seem all that pleased to be called a goddess, but she did finally pull down the hood of her cloak and presented herself to the few remaining leaders. She seemed quite young, but there was something a little off about her skin and ears. "My name is Katra, and I thought I might come to unite the tribes under one banner..." Considering it was only Katra and Scarr there, it seemed like a big request.

"My name is Commander Rosalina Anderson of the Iron Wall, the defenders of the very wall that surrounds this city. We are here to both finally make our presence known, and to negotiate for our share of the lake. That is all."

Tadpole blinked, then smiled. "We would feel reassured to have allies," he said, "If we are unanimous in this, I suggest our first move as a unified nation would be to eliminate those who came here in the spirit of bloodthirst. We cannot thrive when a threat to our unity remains."

"It seems like the Iron Wall, though very mighty and a great army, don't seem to have a leader to defend?" asked Katra. "And although the Bears did make a mess of this meeting, is revenge really the first thing we should plan for, Tadpole of the Mishanders?" She then looked at the King of Deluxe, but was a little wary about addressing that one as he fawned over the young man.

King looked back at Ottogi, Maruchan, and then pulled on Nissin. Clearly, they didn't have the manpower to make any overconfident demands. He just wanted to live through the day and go back to his leisurely way of life. "Allies with equal shares of the lake... under one banner, seems like a comfortable deal," he ventured. Ottogi's eyes narrowed, Maruchan sighed, and Nissin pulled his hand back. THe King's grip was strong, but fortune caused the his fingers to slip from the sleeve he'd been holding Nissin by.

"Revenge? No. My people at least do not feel hate over the loss of life. Sorrow, certainly. It is out of pragmatism that we should eliminate threats. I am willing and eager, if any present have suggestions for alternative solutions to the problem brought on by the Crazy Murder Bear Tribe."

"Perhaps instead of just allies, we become one nation," tested Katra. Now changing her mind about who to be most wary of. The Ramen people didn't seem to be a problem... it was the Mishanders for sure! "I propose that first we become one people, all together! And build us a city right here along the lake? The Iron Wall fought bravely and could protect us, while the Deluxe and Mishanders begin forming a village? We could take in refugees to help..."

"I see no issue, however I want to eliminate the chance of us all being attacked in the future. We defended who we could here, but too many among us died." Tadpole was pretty firm about this, but at least no longer calling for immediate death for the Crazy Murder Bears.

Thanks to the Mishanders, there were soon bundles of meat for everyone to take home. The personal effects of the dead were separated by person and set out in a grid, and they moved on to working on tearing down any structures that were too fire-damaged to be repaired, and they gathered everything left behind for the sake of not letting anything go to waste.

King of Deluxe refused to look to his faction leaders this time, he knew where their minds might be and he didn't like it. "The Deluxe tribes are no strangers to unions, as we see the benefits of such a nation." Ottogi used the Michander's words as an opportunity to step in, "I, Ottogi leader of my faction, agree with the leader of Michander. Maruchan too chose to step in saying, "one nation of various peoples," she began, "various as we are. After all, the Maruchan faction agreed to be led by Deluxe so long as we kept our traditions." Nissin, whose peoples had been wiped out shrugged. Life usually found a way of favoring him so he had nothing to say.

"I think we're all going to have a very strong alliance," agreed Katra. The only one they had not gotten confirmation from so far was the Commander of the Iron Wall, but no one was surprised that the Commander and her army needed time to discuss these ideas and conditions with her people. "For now, we should finish clearing up the camp and take a night to rest and think. In the morning we can discuss our next plans of action for creating our new nation!"

"If anyone is hungry, we will prepare a stew of meat and fish," Tadpole offered, then paused. "What should we call ourselves? Perhaps the Lake Union?"

Katra smiled wide. "The village of Union, soon to grow into the city of Union, if all things go well."

King laughed with satisfaction. The future looked good and the stew sounded good. Silently, Ottogi hand signaled to his crew and they mobilized to begin clearing up. Maruchan pursed her lips, but then nodded to her crew and they set out to do as the Ottogi did. Nissin was about to do the same when King said, "Nissin my boy! Come here!" This... was unfortunate.

Most unfortunate for Nissin. But this soon to be village of Union sounded promising to the survivors of the meeting tribes. Will it be a successful venture or will something destroy this budding nation? TUNE IN NEXT TIME FOR.... THE CROWNING OF A QUEEN?

Pygmy came over to the gathering of leaders. "We've collected the personal effects of all the dead, and separated them by the body they were on. If you have any loved ones you wish to have a memento of or whose belongings you wish to claim, please do so as soon as is convenient."
