Biography: Margarita Blankenheim was born dead due to birth complications the year EC 593 by the doctor Marx Felix and his wife in the city of Toragay, Elphegort
. A few hours after her birth, the mage Irina Clockworker presented herself to her grieving father, claiming to be an healer that could revive his daughter, she toom the baby away, replacing her with the Clockworker's Doll, the Demon of Sloth's vessel, Eve Moonlit, and then left the town. As Eve's hypnosis magic worked, she illuded everyone, herself included, that the doll was the real Margarita, and the projection took Eve Moonlit's appearance. Due to her being an object, she couldn't sleep nor feel fatigue, this highly alienated her, feeding her growing depression. In her childhood, she fell in love with Kaspar Blankenheim, who promised that he'd marry her when they got older. Growing up, she followed her father's footstep and got a medical license despite being a teen, and in EC 608 she married Kaspar, who forgot his promise and only married her for her wealth. Discovering her sleepless condition, he refused to sleep in the same room as her, taking on several mistresses and selling all of Margarita's belongings in order to continue his lifestyle. This increased her depression, and to drown it out she started working at the local orphanage. Due to their financial struggles, Kaspar joined the criminal organization Pere Noel, leaded by Julia Abelard, under the name of Second, Dealer, and later introducing to Margarita Julia's second in command, Mayrana Blossom, also known as Fourth, The Shadow. As the two women became friends, Margarita joined the organization under the name of Third, The Sleep Princess; and begun, under Mayrana's orders, to refine the already existing poison Gift in an airbone disease and create a cure in order to sell it, hiding the poison in her veins to not leave any trace of it. As Kaspar's affairs worsened and after he begun developing insomnia, Margarita decided to test it on her husband and his mistress. After their mysterious deaths, the journalist Hanne Lorre, the disguise of the mage Elluka Clockworker, begun invstigating, guessing that their deaths were linked to a Demon of Sin's work. As Elluka interrogated the girl, she remained calm and deflected all of her questions, proving herself to be innocent. After Hanne left the town, she started to test her new version of Gift, eventually going on a killing spree due to her slowly gaining back her memories as Eve, event that caused her mental state to greatly degrade, decimating the town in the matter of days. In the end, confronted by Elluka, now out of her disguise as she was refining her final Gift, she called herself a "sleep princess who made others happy", then proceeded to drink the last Gift and kill herself, making Eve completely reawaken.

Personality (taken from "The Evillious Chronicles Wiki")

Margarita was a disillusioned girl in denial. While Margarita had always considered her sleepless condition a natural part of life, she recognized sleep for others to be a natural respite from their troubles. Because of this, she made numerous attempts to induce sleep without success; as she slipped into depression, Margarita equated her lack of sleep to lack of happiness and humanity. Breaking under Eve's influence, she decided death was the ultimate sleep and constructed the fantasy that she was the "Sleep Princess" granting respite to others before giving it for herself as proof of her humanity.

Because of her true nature, Margarita felt a dissonance between herself and "normal" people which only increased with her sleepless condition, developing into an identity crisis and a sense that she was only a decorative doll. She furthermore began to resent the people around her that she blamed for her unhappy life and marriage; although outwardly kind and calm, she harbored a deep inner bitterness and sociopathy. Although playing ignorant to Père Noël's criminal nature and the destruction she was causing, she acted in large part to extract vengeance on the world for her unhappiness.

Margarita's delusional state was largely influenced by Eve as she went into denial over her miserable life, growing worse over time. Not having the means to handle her problems, she first pretended to be content with her loveless life. As she experimented with her Gift, this delusion grew to incorporate her fantasy of being the Sleep Princess awaiting her prince; by the time she completed her Seventh Gift, Margarita was completely consumed by her own sloth and more acting on instinct. She also came to consider the Gifts she made to be her own children as replacement for the ones she never had with Kaspar.

Skills and Abilities (taken from "The Evillious Chronicles Wiki"):

While not particularly intelligent overall, Margarita was very well-versed in chemistry and medicine due to her work for her father, earning a medical license while still a minor. Her knowledge in pharmaceuticals extended to poisons as well, allowing Margarita to experiment and perfect the Rogzé Gift formula over multiple attempts. Due to unknowingly using Eve Moonlit's magic, she could even make the Gift into an unnatural airborne pathogen. Margarita was even able to hide the poisons in her bloodstream via ingestion, simply cutting her wrists to extract the poison from her blood.

Due to her sleepless condition, Margarita never tired and could constantly be on the move even during night hours, though lacking any exceptional athletic ability. She similarly possessed a rather impressive intuition as a result of her subconscious familiarity with the people and places Eve had encountered over the centuries.

Personal headcanons:
Due to her sleeplessness, she became accustomed to astronomy, and had a telescope that was gifted to her by her father
Due to Eve Moonlit's latent memories, she was quite good at farming and had an extreme pyrophobia
