Fantasy, Horror and Sci-fi. I'll try basically anything though. I also love strange and unusual RP genre concepts. Different is good!
If your character(s) had a theme song what would it be?

I use music a lot for role play inspiration, as I am sure a lot of us do. It helps me get a better in depth picture of my character and their story. Sometimes I have one or two specific songs that remind me of my characters, and when I am stuck for a post the song helps me get the creative juices flowing.

Here are a couple of my current Characters and their "Theme Songs".

Arden Hall - Slumber, Distress

Cameron Green - Helloween, My life for one more day

Creed - Iron Maiden, Lord of Light

TODD ('Never Ending Lullabye'):
Comfort Eagle - Cake:
We are building a religion
A limited edition
We are now accepting callers
For these pendant key chains

To resist it is useless
It is useless to resist it
His cigarette is burning
But he never seems to ash

NORI ('Highstone Academy'):
Bad Sects - Cursive

We woke to the chimes and the bells of the steeple
And ran off to separate rooms
They can't know what we've done
Our whole world would come undone

You'll never live this down

CEBAS PRILL ('Beneath Deshenkh'):
Undisclosed Desires - Muse

I want to reconcile the violence in your heart
I want to recognise your beauty's not just a mask
I want to exorcise the demons from your past
I want to satisfy the undisclosed desires in your heart

You trick your lovers
That you're wicked and divine
You may be a sinner
But your innocence is mine

TARAS NOVKIOV ('Jeffrey City'):
Vengeanceis Sleeping: Neko Case
I didn't know what a brute I was
I dipped my cigarette and rode the bus
Vengeance built me hastily
And I drag the clanging notion I was nobody, nobody
Nobody

All I had was my invention
And my love invented on you
Oh, look what thoughts can do
What thoughts can do
If you're not by now dead and buried

SIR IGRIS ('The Restoration Cycle'):

Penzance: Patrick Wolf
And in that charm we headed south
Knowing nothing of my demons

There were devils in the winds that night
Walking fire among the hills
And many voices called me out to the cliffs
But you held me safe
You wrestled me still

Wiping the black blood from my mouth
Speeding into nowhere
