I'm trying to work a char that started off as a sailor but later on joins an academy to become a magic-user in his mid-teenage, I'm kinda rusty at this sort of thing so please try not to blast me to hell and back lol.

You might get more replies if you repost this in the Roleplay Help section, if you are looking for help adding detail to your character idea. As far as I know, The Help Desk section is more oriented towards the features and functions of Iwaku as a website. The Roleplay Help section is more oriented towards roleplay content and roleplay mechanics.
