No Days Off

Name: Xander "Xan" Minamino
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Occupation: Personal Trainer
Champion: Lee Sin
Abilities: Lee Sin's standard kit.
Appearance: There's nothing spectacularly eye catching about Xander at first glance. He stands at a relatively normal height at 180 cms tall and weighs about 73 kg soaking wet. His usual attire consists of baggy articles of clothing which just fits his style way more than any form fitting clothes could. What he gains in comfortabilities he lacks in taste, I mean imagine never growing bored of the same athletics fits over and over. Under his everyday ensemble, is the body of a statue housed in the body of a young adult. Every inch of his body seems meticulously curated by ancient Greek marble sculptures. His lean figure only further extenuates his equally lean muscles, but not to the point of being labelled as a body builder.
Personality: Xander tends to live his life blissfully ignorant, he is the type who likes to keep things very simple and eliminate any sources of stress. Kind of ironic as he spends his downtime playing league when he's not working out. His head in the clouds lifestyle has done nothing to impede his social life nor his professional life. It's actually made him more amicable and easily approachable, his air of living in the moment naturally draws in clients and friends a like. If you could label him in a group he'd be the adventurous one. And while that is all well and dandy, Xander doesn't see himself that way, after all he hasn't been anywhere else besides his local town and the few times he went to Japan to visit his relatives.
Short Bio: Xander Minamino if you couldn't tell by his hybrid name, comes from a Japanese farther and an American mother. The latter moved to Japan on a whim to teach English to students willing to learn in Japan. Funnily enough his soon to be father was also a teacher at the same school his mother was working at. His english was already impeccable so there was nothing in the way of them talking like a language barrier. After spending a few years in Japan the two decided to move back to the states to settle down and begin their lives as parents. Xander was the seed that flourished from this idea and so they continued their teaching careers until he was old enough to care for himself without them. They progressed into becoming professors at the local university while he was busy with school and the standard extracurricular most kids attended. To supplement his free time while his parents were at work, Xander found interest in lifting weights. The addiction was quick to transfix him as he spent more and more time in the gym after school, eventually training with the all the sports team. Rather than embarrass himself it only served to further embellish his reputation with the schools jocks leading to his jump in the social ladder in every high school story. After highschool, Xander went to the same university his parents taught at for a degree in health science, later graduating with his bachelors and starting his career as a personal fitness trainer. Beyond that, Xander plays league of legends in his downtime while perusing the league subreddit.
Summary: Xander lives each day like he will always see tomorrow, if he's not in the gym he's basically on the rift.
Relationships: N/A
Other: Xander has a habit of drinking Japanese fruit juice boxes his mom gets him from the local asian supermarket, in quite excess.

"Rise and Shine, Smiling Angel is here to brighten up your day!"

Name:
Astra Leann Dorian

Age:
22

Gender:
Female

Occupation:
Blogger. Astra has many jobs lined up via her parents but she chose for herself as a blogger to work on helping people all over the world to understand the intricacies of the Dorian Verona Elegance Incorporation Products. Her specific blog is called Shining Angel Blog, with self-help tips on using the Dorian Data Inc's Data Plans for their Cellphones. As an heiress, she must show everyone that not all rich people are out of touch with reality. As well, it follows her playing in League of Legends since she's a bit addicted to that game since her older siblings got her into it. It usually shows team tips and some other things she sees that is just plain ridiculous in league; how to detoxify yourself after a horrible run in League.

Champion:
Lux. To Astra, this champion reminds her of herself and her mother's overwhelming optimism and resilience. Astra has played other Burst type champions alike Annie and Ahri. Lux is her main champion within League since the Light Puns are amazingly cute in someways. She tried to even copy some of the more funnier puns, which Lux has in her arsenal.

Abilities: Lux's Original Kit

Appearance:
Astra stands at 5'8" and usually has to wear high heels to gain an inch. She weighs 148 pounds, with an hourglass body frame. The one thing everyone can see is her smile it shows that she always has an optimistic view to the world that differs from others. As well, her beautiful sky blue eyes always shows a determination to give everyone a second chance no matter what. It's mostly because of how she keeps herself going with how she constantly speaks to people. She has a great posture as well, even for her height and needing to wear high heels. The necklace she wears around her neck, which is a mirror like type thing, it holds a secret a picture of her family; Her father Paul, Her mother Emma, her older brother Erwin, her older sister Ashley and her. This picture shows that the entire family are smiling.

The Earrings, which she wears were given to her by her mother Emma to wear as a keepsake to stay positive and an optimist. She loves wearing any form of pink or blue is what she likes wearing for her shirts or blouses. As well, she usually wears shorts, pants, skirts and anything that fits her fancy and they always have to make her eyes be the brightest thing on her. In terms of her hairstyle she keeps it straight or braided ponytail.

Personality:
As a cheery and bright child, which Astra is, which she always want to show people that her family isn't like most families. In terms of the highly snobby sort of rich people, which is somewhat the norm elsewhere. If it wasn't for the fact she enjoys showing an overwhelming amount of optimism, which is always apart of her life. This is only because her own mother Emma is basically an optimist and sees the brighter side of things. She understands always keeping a smile on her face, is much brighter than worrying about what might happen.

It makes her a bit naive in that sense, but its only because she sees the good in everyone. No matter their background or way of life, which is the most important person in her life is her mother Emma. Emma was the one who passed down the most important vocabulary in her, 'Steps is how you can get to your dreams even if you want to do it in a different way.' Its the primary reason why she's a bit odd to a point but this oddness is only because she truly cares about everyone, which includes herself. It is the reason why she's bright and cheery to hide a darkness within her heart and always an optimist and resilient to ideas against her nature.

Short Bio:
The history of Astra is much more in the open than most people's histories. It's mostly because she's an heiress to a multi-billion dollar incorporation called the Dorian Verona Elegance Inc. She also has two older siblings, which are 4 to 6 years older than her at most. The fact she basically had everything handed to her on a silver platter via her family's wealthy estate and multitude of helping hands. However, the biggest factor for her kind, cheery and optimistic nature was her own mother Emma, which was home more than her own dad Paul. He had to keep the company running as a business man and allowed his wife off because stress, anxiety swelled within her.

Astra was the biggest worrier of her mother Emma, since she always told her specific things to follow the more optimistic path. It was her mother that told her to not worry about her, even though she couldn't help it. However, she did have older siblings who were a bit lazier and needed a shining example to wake them up. It fell onto her to wake up her older siblings almost all the time, which are Ashley & Erwin. This is how and why she basically said, 'Rise and shine, Smiling angel is here to brighten up your day.' However, she did see her older brother and sister start to play a specific game that got her interested, which was League of Legends. The champions within that game were interesting and all their quotes and what not were very funny to her.

She was interested in playing the burst magic champions a bit much, since her older siblings kinda needed a burst mage on their team. The first burst champion she played was Annie, until she found a champion that fit her to a tee. Lux, the Lady of Luminosity, which was that champion and her light puns were so illuminating. However, its how she created a blog called Shining Angel Blog, which is about her experiences in League and helping people with the products of her family's corporation. She lives in a penthouse in Darkwell City, since her family wants to spread into that city to start selling its data plans and what not.

Astra's biggest saying is, 'being an optimist sees the brighter things than... the darkness within people's hearts.' It basically means, she tries to get to know people even though they don't want to chat or what not. It gives her experiences to deal with each person, even though its always good to take care of yourself every now and then. Alike her mother always says, 'Taking Steps to keep yourself healthy and happy, will help yourself to get to know people.'

Summary:
Astra has a cheery disposition and shining example of what it is to deal with a person who loves puns and her family.

Relationships:
TBD

Other:
Astra listens to beautiful optimistic sounding music within any genre. As well, she's a bit of a ditz when it comes to not having perfect balance sometimes. Her favorite thing she loves is the earrings she wears and usually talks about how her mother Emma inspired her to be a Blogger.

Abilities:

Shining Beacon- Astra uses her staff to mark enemies with light energy surrounding them for six seconds.

Shining Bind- Astra launches a sphere of shining light in a direction, which causes damage and roots two enemies for two seconds.

Dorian's Barrier- Astra launches her wand in the direction of her allies, which it returns after reaching its maximum range. It shields her allies and her as long as it touches them. It's in a rainbow-ish looking color shield with the symbol for her family's most optimistic venture, which is the Dorian Data Inc.

Singularity of Reversed Light- Astra sends an anomaly of Reversed Light to a target area for up to 5 seconds, which it slows enemies inside and granting a vision radius around it.

Revealing Light of Sparking- Astra fires a massive laser of light in a line that deals magic damage to all enemies hit, briefly revealing enemies as well as the surrounding area. This ability can only be used in her true form.

it's a decent character, though I noticed you kind of edited the ability names. Please keep the names the same as the champion's. You can be creative with the abilities themselves, though. You don't have to be overly specific with the duration of abiltiies, either, as long as they don't last an obscene amount of time.

"Don't mess up that pretty face."

Jin-Yeong is a person who does not stop in life, always moving forward to new take opportunities. She has fair skin that has clear evidence that she's been out in the sun quite often. She is quite fit since her daily exercise is something she does not simply pass up on and follows it thoroughly before starting the day. Her eyes were a light brown before but had changed to a feint purple due to what had happened. Along with a small nose, semi-voluptuous lips, and a model-like head shape, she stands as your athletic tomboy friend who does not completely stray away from her feminine side and would still leave a lasting impression to those who are around her.

Jin cares very little with what she looks like half of the time, she only ever cares when she's out or at work. Though her natural attractiveness does tend to come into play whether she likes it or not. Her face is well-shaped, with squinted eyes often renowned as cute. A light hazelnut colour used to imbue her eyes making it almost hypnotic to look at but now it is now twice as hypnotic due to its new purple look. Her hair stays a strong ashen white it is not natural but it has become part of her look for so long that she makes an effort to make it stay white.

In terms of what she wears, Jin does have two distinct styles. She wears comfortable exercise clothing the lot of the time, and stylish Korean style outfits on those special occasions and at times at work. She also has a tattoo of an Eastern style dragon and clothes wrapping around both her arms, from the middle of both forearms, meeting at behind her shoulders.

Kai'Sa, Daughter of the Void

"You wouldn't last a day in the void."

Second Skin This serves as a form of protection when being attacked since the living-breathing suit Kai'Sa wears keeps her protected and Kai'Sa also protects it firing off energy from her hands due to the suit's abilities.

Living Weapon; Living weapon is only active once Jin takes on the full form of Kai'Sa.

Jin tends to use Kai'Sa's abilities only when necessary as to it is not the most quiet of things to do.

Icathian Rain Upon usage, those large void like turbines sprout from Jin's back extending out to fire off barrage of missiles on to enemies or to intended targets. Using such power does make those void turbines visible so upon using it again the enemy may it see it coming.

Living Weapon; Fires double the amount of missiles.

Void Seeker Those same turbines appear firing a larger missile towards a direction, it does not stop until it hits a target and those hit by the missile will be revealed to Jin for a short amount of time.

Living Weapon; The missile will now have a longer range and reveal the target for a longer time.

Super ChargeA burst of speed and reflexes is immediately given to Jin, also making her faster at attacking as well.

Living Weapon; During the burst of speed, Jin is invisible for as long as the burst of speed is active.

Killer Instinct Jin is able to dash to a target that she has previously attacked.

"Well I do main her to be fair."

Jin grew up on a farm, specifically a fruit farm on the coast of Jeju-do where the products were the best apples and peaches in all of Korea. In a calm breezy afternnoon she was brought into the world. She grew up a lot of love and support from her parents who gave her everything they could have even though they were not the most rich parents in the country. They always supported her, and this was most likely what sparked her love for adventure.

Jin absolutely loved her childhood, She had a lot of fun since she was extremely active and friendly that she got along with everyone. A great school life, enjoyable summers, amazing friends, and people who just never gave up on her. She only got in trouble a few times but that was because she had a few anxiety attacks at lead her to skipping school and going off to her own adventure.

College was different because she was given a scholarship to study abroad in the USA, after the university saw her skills in her vlogs growing up, they wanted to Jin to join their photography program which soon turned into actual college since she had to improve her English. She passed with flying colours and her parents supported her and even tried their hardest to send her there so that she could have a great learning experience.

With Jin at college this was when her roommate introduced her to League of Legends. At first she was completely terrible at it but as time went on she slowly made her way to getting good at the game while surprisingly balancing her studies. Some would call her for being a gifted AD Carry main with how fast her reflexes were and how well her call-outs were very high level once she actually got better. But she wanted to lessen the load from her parents by taking a part time job at a grocery store, stocking up the shelves. Which meant she only played the game in her free time which was 2-3 games a week at best.

Months after her graduation she finally got back in the game and sure she was rusty but that did not stop her, while she put out herself out on the photography market for people to hire her, she would play the game and make herself get better. Upon the release of Kai'Sa she was immediately in love with the lore, the character, the design, and the gameplay of it. She loved playing Kai'Sa, but being a new champion at the time meant she got banned a lot so Sivir was still her secondary pick.

A year had passed and she had gotten way better, she had reached Diamond and was now on her way to Masters as a kai'Sa main. But one cold morning, she woke up weird, her head hurt as soon as she woke up and her skin was a bit itchy in places that had never been before. She checked herself in the mirror to see if somethings were wrong, her eyes were bloodshot and a few parts of her skin were red from her scratching it all night. She blinked and cleaned herself up, and she realised her eyes were now a shade of purple.

She tried to ignore what happened and have breakfast, her parents sent her some fruits from the farm and she decided to have a peach for breakfast. Her eyes lit up since she never remembered the peaches to have taste so good, it was like there was something in her that had changed. She did not know what happened and decided to just live her life normally, her skin would only get itchy sometimes and she was not exactly sure why.

She went on to play a game of League, and in the loading screen there was a silly "Did you know" message saying that Kai'Sa favourite fruit was peaches and it finally clicked in her head. A mosquito flew onto Jin's skin and she slapped it but missed, it flew off and before the mosquito could land on her again she fired something from her hand it killed the mosquito in mid air. She blinked not know what it was but it would appear that something has definitely changed.

Present day, Jin has gotten better at using her abilities on command instead of as a defensive mechanism. She never had a reason to use the abilities in anything selfish since she just wants a good time, at most she would use the super charge ability to get to places faster when she needs an escape. Jin is may not be entirely ready for what the world has in store, but whatever the world throws at her, she knows that she and Kai'Sa are able to fend themselves off.

"Don't stop, keep it moving, maybe play some League of Legends."

Jin simply wants to keep moving, she is not the type to cling to the past since she was taught to always go for what's ahead of her. She is the type of person to live in the moment, to always live life to the fullest at any given time. Whenever she has problems or feels anxious she runs away from them, it could either be an impromptu road trip or just a walk in the woods. Though it is a guarantee that being alongside Jin will be a good time, no matter what happens, she has got your back and hopefully you should treat her the same.

Jin will make sure you're having a good time, but it has gotten to the point where she prioritises her own happiness over others but will not have it so that she's the only one happy. She just puts herself first ever since she made the mistake of trusting someone else with her happiness. Though it is not the time to go into that.

The setting for this seems really interesting, but I do have two questions.

It's been ages since I played League of Legends (around 2011-2012), so I really don't know much about how the game evolved and I'm not particularly interested in getting back into the game itself (I just don't have the reflexes). Would it be possible to deviate a bit from the given story by having a character that used to play the game a long time ago, rather than the 'yesterday' suggested by the story on the front page? That way, I'd have a character who's IC knowledge connects a lot better with my OOC knowledge, which would be pretty nice.

Secondly, there's a request to make a character of the minority gender, but while the comments suggest male are in the majority, the profiles I could find seem to be 4 females for 2 males. That is, assuming that champion gender and character gender don't have to match up. (That's a roundabout way of me asking what the male to female ratio is at the moment.)

I don't mind it if the character used to play the game a while ago. Though you really don't need to know about anything other than the champs and abilities. ^^ All up to you!

You can make whatever gender you want. We'll be getting around 4 new males, though the gender differentials are more or less realistic no matter what happens, so it's up to you to do what you want.

@Luminosity
That's great! I'm not entirely sure what you meant with "though the gender differentials are more or less realistic no matter what happens", but I hope character sheet added below isn't problematic in that regard.

A few more questions came up while working on this, however. The first is if you've got any suggestion on where I can find out about the 'champion' based relationships, as I think it's a pretty neat concept to have champion relations influence the 'real' ones IC. I've been reading up on the lore and skills of Soraka (random side-note; is even one of those skills the same as the original or did I just forget them that much?), but I can't find a single mention of any relation with another champion that isn't highly likely to be speculation or fan fiction.

The second is if you're okay with having a relation/familiarity (anywhere from acquaintance to friends works for me) with your student character.

The third is if I've managed to translate the skills from the original character well enough into ones fitting this RP, and/or what leeway there is on making them a bit more general.

Oh, and I'd like to go for Soraka, as that's the only character I remember playing a fair bit, other than Fiddlesticks. As fun as the latter champion would be, I'd like to set sail on calmer waters to start off.

"Ah, that's the thing, you see, if we can just..."

Name:
Alden Walton

Age:
24

Gender:
Male

Occupation:
Student

Champion:
Soraka: The Starchild

Abilities:
Salvation
Innate: Becomes considerably faster when moving towards allies that are (considerably) injured.

Starcall
Active: Calls down a star upon the target area, granting sight over it before landing, dealing magic damage and slowing enemies hit by it.

Hitting at least one enemy returns the star dust, granting Rejuvenation, healing the caster and granting bonus movement speed, decaying over the duration.

While the caster is Rejuvenated, other allies can be Rejuvenated with Astral Infusion, granting them the same effects for the same duration.

Astral Infusion
Active: Heals the target ally (excluding the caster).

Astral Infusion cannot be cast when the caster themselves is severely injured.

Equinox
Active: Creates a celestial zone at the target location, dealing magic damage to enemies that were inside it upon creation. The zone then persists for a few seconds, silencing all enemies within it.

After the duration, the zone detonates, dealing the same magic damage to all enemies within and briefly rooting them.

Wish
Active: Calls upon the stars, instantly healing all allies, and the caster. The effectiveness of the healing is increased based upon how injured the target is (the worse the injuries, the better the healing).

Appearance:

Disregarding the bandages, he looks and dresses the same as in the image. He is somewhat tall (~1.90 meters) and on the thin side.

MiY4gRP.png

In his true form, his hair growls longer, his eyes turn yellow and his skin turns more purple-ish. Top it off with a small-sized horn, and he ends up looking like the unholy offspring of the champion he merged with and a normal human. Some would even argue his overall body-shape is just that little bit more feminine in his true form.

Personality:
He seems to be pretty chill and laid-back at the first impression, but those whom know him a little better know that he's a pretty diligent student. His most prominent bad habit is that of trying to tease people; attempting to outwit them with sharp remarks or double-speak. He rarely shows himself to be serious, but somehow seems to have his own way of being focussed regardless of what things look like. In general, however, he is mostly focused on his own academic achievements.

Thanks to the merging, however, he became a fair bit more caring about the well-being of those around him, with regards to both their physical and mental state. This includes the (often suppressed) desire to inspire and guide others. This clashes with some of his old habits, which may lead his words and actions to contradict.

Short Bio:
He grew up in a household with four older siblings and two younger ones, so he quickly learned how to 'defend' himself. Considering his physique has always been rather lacking through-out his life, he mostly relied on his words, charisma and trickery to do the job. As he couldn't stand the noisy environment at home, he was often found at the small local library. It's there that he set his eyes on joining a university. In order to do so, he would need to study hard enough to get a scholarship somewhere...

The one thing that kept him from studying were his siblings. Whenever the library was closed, he was in trouble, as there wasn't a single other quiet place to retreat to. Worse, his siblings started pestering about playing some game that had newly come out called 'League of Legends', as none of them wanted to play the 'Support' role. He honestly had no clue what they were on about, but he eventually settled on making a deal. He'd spent some time with them on the game if they would let him study in silence afterwards. Truth be told, he eventually ended up liking the game a fair bit, but after a year or so, the finals were coming up. With that, any time he had was spent on studying.

It didn't work out. He fell ill just before the finals, severely enough to miss out on them entirely. Despite always having been on the frail side, he had never been hit by illness as harshly as now. It took him almost half a year to recover, after which he set his sights on what he couldn't finish last year. He managed to finish up his finals with grades that were just above average... He sincerely hoped that would be good enough somewhere. After a very stressful time, and a lot of denials and refusals, he eventually got a positive word back from a university abroad. In all honesty, he had just applied there with little to no hope they'd actually accept him, so it came as a complete surprise. That said, he was quick to pack his bags and leave!

He's been studying in Darkwell City for three years, now being in the last year of his program. The game he used to play some years had been almost entirely forgotten. Little did he know that the game was going to reintroduce itself into his life in the most spectacular of ways.

Summary:
A student of British origin who's fairly dedicated to his studies, yet knows how to play around with words and charisma whenever this is needed.

Relationships:
He's on friendly terms with Chloe, as he knows her from Darkwell University.
He'll faintly recognize Jin from once having seen some of her travel vlogs.

Other:
  • He dislikes the stereotype that all Brits drink tea, as he prefers to drink coffee darker than oil.
  • The only positive physical trait he possesses is having quick reflexes, as he's fairly frail otherwise.
  • He's followed extra courses of various subjects, seemingly deciding on what to go by at random and proceeding with varying degrees of success.
  • He'll totally dress up in his full set of clothing, even if it's warm enough outside to nearly make him faint.
  • If it wasn't clear yet, he really likes reading.

Sorry, I wrote that first part when I was kinda distracted so it made little sense. I meant to say that the gender balance is realistic. XD

About the relationships, usually there's a side tab that shows what champions they get along with and don't. I'll have to look at it when I'm on my computer!

That's completely fine about being friends with Chloe!

And I'll look at your sheet when the next one gets submitted. For now, I'll send you the link to the discord! Click to join!

I'm the best

Name: Maxwell Leodon

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Occupation: Student at Darkwell University, Darkwell University IT-Intern

Champion: Ezreal

Abilities:
Rising Spell Force (Passive) - Everytime he lands an ability on an enemy, he increases his own attack speed
Mystic Shot - Max can fire a bolt of energy at a target in a straight line dealing significant damage. Hitting an actual target gives him energy back and able to shoot more faster.
Essence Flux - Max fires a orb like ring that sticks to a target but it only lasts for a few seconds. Hitting someone or something that is attached with this orb will detonate it dealing more damage.
Arcane Shift - Can blink short distances and fire a singular homing shot, but this takes a lot out of him and takes some time to be able to do again.
Trueshot Barrage - Max fires an arcing projectile in a direction, dealing massive damage to everyone that it passes through.

Appearance: Max stands roughly around 6'2", 185lbs. His hair is shaggy and always seems like he has some sort of bedhead, long enough to reach down to his eyes. Switches between wearing contacts or glasses depending on the day or mood.

Personality: Max is rather friendly to anyone and everyone that he comes across, always looking to work together rather than alone. Cheery most days and wearing a smile, easy to get along with and will talk about whatever the other may be interested in though he does enjoy talking about some of his own hobbies from time to time. Secretly enjoys being praised and being recognized for his hard work. It must be one of the reasons why he chose to play the ADC role, relying on others that you may not even know but when working together he can carry a team.
Does have flashes of anger but he has been to counseling for that, several times when he was younger. Anger issues but they haven't been a problem in years because he usually keeps it all bottled up when it does strike.

Short Bio: Max doesn't come from a wealthy family at all, but they weren't poor. Upper Middle-Class if that was even considered a thing these days anymore. Living a comfortable childhood with anything he could have ever wanted, which wasn't much, but nothing truly luxurious or grandeur. He was the kid on the playground in Elementary School that was always making friends and playing games, trying new things with others and that brought him into video games at a young age which his parents supported and allowed but only for an hour a day.
He started to play League of Legends at a young age, almost when it came out but he was off by a year but he fell in love with the game and became addicted to it. He would take breaks for weeks, sometimes months but he always came back and he kept coming back for the challenge, the climb. He enjoyed pitting himself up against others, trying to get better at a game while making sure not to slack on his studies.
He found a love in working on computers and building them. Something about bringing something to life through electronics like that and seeing the power that they could generate and what one could do on a computer was always an enjoyable sight. So he built himself a PC with left over grant money he received after being accepted into Darkwell University -- he does play other games but the PC he had built was a little much for just League of Legends.

Summary: Max just wants to get along with everyone he encounters, doesn't like to have any bad blood and just coast through life enjoying it.

Relationships: TBD

Any deviations from the original kit will be noted by italicized text with asterisks. Mostly nerfs and adjustments of things that don't fit outside of the game like stats.

Passive - The Hitman and the Seer

Aphelios_Ability_Article_T2.jpg
  • Weapon Master: Vien has access to an arsenal of five Moonstone Weapons. He equips two weapons at any one time, one as his main weapon and one as his off-hand weapon. Each weapon has a unique attack and passive effect, and *he can freely cycle through any of the weapons at will. It takes four seconds for him to form and swap between any given weapon outside of his chosen main and off-hand weapon.*
    • Calibrum, the Sniper Rifle: Long-ranged weapon; gains increased attack range. Enemies damaged with Calibrum via an ability are marked for a short period of time; his next attack against against a marked target consumes the mark and uses his current off-hand weapon.
    • Severum, the Scythe Pistol: *Short-ranged weapon;* attacks heal him for a slight amount of damage dealt. *Healing in excess is not converted into a shield.*
    • Gravitum, the Gravity Cannon: Medium-ranged weapon; attacks apply a slow to the target.
    • Infernum, the Flamethrower: Medium-ranged weapon; shoots a firebolt at the target, splitting into a cone of missiles behind them.
    • Crescendum, the Chakram: Short-ranged weapon; Attacks hurl the blade at the target, which lingers for a brief moment before homing back to him. When an ability is used that would require a chakram to be thrown, he instead throws a spectral chakram that can be accumulated to empower his next attacks based on the number of accumulated spectral chakrams.

  • Moonlight: Each day, each of his weapons spawn with fifty Moonlight for ammunition, which is consumed on basic attacks or to cast his abilities. Abilities that cause him to attack do not cost additional Moonlight on top of their ability cost. *Once any or all of his weapons are exhausted of Moonlight, he is unable to use those empty weapons except for ones with remaining Moonlight, or Severum without its ability or healing effects when all weapons are depleted. Moonlight is fully replenished after sunset when the moon is visible or upon a long period of rest. Moonlight is also passively replenished over time when his powers are not in use, albeit at a dramatically slower rate (about four Moonlight for each weapon per hour).*

Ability - Weapons of the Faithful

The active effect of this ability varies based on his current main weapon.
  • Calibrum, the Sniper Rifle
    • Moonshot: Fires a bolt of energy in a line towards the target direction, striking the first enemy in its path and marking them. Consumes ten Moonlight.
  • Severum, the Scythe Pistol
    • Onslaught: Gains a burst of movement speed and autnomously performs a flurry of attacks over a duration to the nearest enemy, alternating between Severum and his current off-hand weapon. Consumes ten Moonlight.
  • Gravitum, the Gravity Cannon
    • Binding Eclipse: Expunges all enemies effected by Gravitum's debuff, dealing damage and rooting them for one second. Consumes ten Moonlight.
  • Infernum, the Flamethrower
    • Duskwave: Unleashes a wave of energy in a cone, dealing damage to all enemies hit and locking on to each of them. After a delay, he then fires a volley of attacks from his current off-hand weapon, dealing additional damage and applying their effects to each locked-on enemy. Consumes ten Moonlight.
  • Crescendum, the Chakram
    • Sentry: Deploys a lunar sentry that lasts for up to twenty seconds. It autonomously attacks the nearest visible enemy within its range with a clone of his current off-hand weapon. *Only one lunar sentry may be deployed at any given time.* Consumes ten Moonlight.

Ultimate - Moonlight Vigil

Casts forth a lunar spotlight that stops upon illuminating an enemy target, smiting the area around them and locking-on to each enemy hit. After a delay, attacks rain from the sky based on his current main weapon, dealing damage and applying its effects upon each enemy locked-on by Moonlight Vigil.
  • Calibrum, the Sniper Rifle
    • Applies an empowered mark to all enemies hit that deals extra damage.
  • Severum, the Scythe Pistol
    • Grants healing based on the number of enemies hit.
  • Gravitum, the Gravity Cannon
    • Applies an extremely empowered slow to all enemies hit.
  • Infernum, the Flamethrower
    • Explodes in an initial blast before splashing in a wide circle for massive damage.
  • Crescendum, the Chakram
    • Strikes enemies with a storm of spectral chakrams that accumulate based on the number of enemies hit.

[Personality]
Vien prefers to maintain a low profile and keep to himself in comparison to his boisterous teenage years. If one knew about his past identity as an egotistical and toxic personality, they would be shocked to see just how different he's changed since then. He keeps a very limited amount of relationships close, and isn't usually the first person to make conversation outside of working where he it is essentially required. It's very evident that he wishes to disassociate himself from his past actions and identity.
His motivation tends to come in waves; one week will be filled with inspiration, while another could be muddled with procrastination. This can change when Vien finds something that he is passionate about, to which he becomes a drastically different person that is full of energy and quite vocal towards the subject. Though it is a rare occurrence, he still considers himself a hard worker, through and through.
While he does not have their support, he places immense value in family, and by extension, his closest friends that are scarce. Vien can come off as aloof and distant, exacerbated by his feelings of loneliness and feeling an inability to connect with others socially because of his awkward tendencies. As kind as he can be, he will return an abrasive edge wherever necessary.

[Biography]
Vien Huynh once stood at the pinnacle of League of Legends; he was a superstar professional player at the international level whose decorated career was spangled with accolades both domestic and beyond. Yet, as brightly as the star from North America was, it would burn out just as fast as it came. Before all of this, the boy who would come to be known by the summoner name Ruse originated from humble beginnings. Coming from an Asian household, Vien was subject to a particularly strict upbringing like the latter would suggest, and it was all towards a pre-determined destiny at the end of a road leavened with steep expectations from his parents. Only through succeeding in school with boast-worthy grades did they ever shower him with gifts, and like most children, seeing his peers enjoy video games prompted him to request the same. It was through this shared enjoyment that he grew especially close to his older sister, his sole sibling and the only person in his entire family that didn't constantly pressure him about his future.
His older sister introduced Vien to an online game called League of Legends during his freshman year, and he was immediately hooked onto it. Like most, he started off pretty awfully for a new player as his studies permitted, but steadily, the game began to consume more of his time. His grades sharply declined while his skill and prestige skyrocketed within the game, culminating in his first top ten ranking on the ranked ladder at the end of his sophomore year.
Coupled with his rising community presence through a growing livestream channel and highlights being posted to social media, Vien was touted as a potential prospect for the upcoming formation of the competitive scene, but he was still too young to be scouted. He capitlized on his growing popularity by devoting more and more of his time to the game, leading to frequent clashes with his parents that could only be temporarily settled by his older sister's intervention. While his parents often took many countermeasures to limit his fixation, it all came to a head when he threatened to drop out of high school in favor of pursuing his dream, it was his older sister who convinced him to see it through. She could not offer her support forever as she became ill, and he was no longer an exemplary student upon graduating with the bare minimum of effort as the game became the center of his thoughts.
Vien, who was now eligible for professional play and free from burden, received plenty of offers as a substitute bottom laner from upstart teams in the freshly-formed league. He was immediately chastised upon revealing his intentions to pursue a place in competitive play, and after being kicked out of the house, he cut off all ties to his parents. Taking his hopes and dreams to the west coast, he arrived in midst of the split and shared participation in scrimmages with the main team and the second roster, as the contracts and lineups had already been locked in before. After the end of the split, it was announced that he had earned his spot in the starting lineup for next years' spring split after saving the team from relegation. His inclusion led to a full turnaround for the organization as they won both spring and summer playoff titles in dominating fashion, with the eighteen-year old bound for the World Championship.
Expectations for North America had never been high to begin with, but their team performed admirably, eliminated by the eventual World Champions in the quarterfinals. During the off-season, they began to cement themselves among the world rankings as the team claimed victory in a number of international events behind Vien's performance, and when they eventually dominated the domestic leagues once more, this only built up his arrogance which was prominently featured on social media in his interviews and livestreams. Just before the World Championship commenced, he was called by his family to return home due to the hospitalization of his older sister, but chose to focus on the 'easy wins' that laid ahead. However, the team suffered losses against those 'weak' teams in the group stages, and was threatened with elimination despite being the favorites. Their hopes of winning the World Championship ended after losing the tiebreaker despite Vien's attempts to carry, and in a fit of rage, he snapped the keyboard in half live on stage and refused to shake the hands of his opponents as they were eliminated even sooner than the previous year.
Heavily criticized for a multitude of things such as not meeting expectations to not backing up his trash talk, Vien publically shamed the organization and his teammates on social media, pinning their failures on everyone else but himself. This, coupled with breaking the keyboard and poor sportsmanship, led to his removal from the organization, as well as his ban from competitive play. To make matters worse, the nineteen-year old was struck with more reality as he was informed of his older sister's passing, leading him to erase any traces of his media presence. He distanced himself away from League of Legends, now only playing recreationally as he disappeared from the community and worked to put his life back together through working on himself. With the money earned from his brief stint as a professional player, Vien moved away from Los Angeles and to Darkwell City, opting to return to school.

[Summary]
A disgraced ex-professional player who wants nothing to do with League of Legends, looking to make right by his past mistakes and finding purpose again.

"Ya.. arr.. Ahem. Yes, I do have a growing appetite for citrus fruits."

Name:
Elaine Desrosiers

20

Gender:
Female

Occupation:
Student

Champion:
Gangplank

Trial by Fire
Periodically empowers an attack to burn the target.

Successfully hitting a target with Trial by Fire, gives a short boost in (movement) speed.
Destroying a Powder Keg gives the same boost in (movement) speed.

Parrrley
Shoots the target enemy with a pistol, dealing physical damage and applying on-hit and on-attack effects.

Parrrley can critically strike for bonus physical damage.

Fire at Will: Cannon Barrage fires additional waves over its duration.

Appearance:

MVLOZPu.png

In her true form, she tends to lose a fair bit of her lady-like appearance.

Personality:
She's a weird mixture of being a posh attention-seeker and someone genuinely trying to change for the better. Although she can be mean and loves using her sharp tongue, she does try to stop looking down on others, well, sometimes she tries doing so, at least. Whether she develops for the worst or for the better most likely ends up depending on whomever or whatever will end up aiding her highly needed soul-searching.

Short Bio:
The Desrosiers family has a history as old as France itself, which brings a large set of traditions, habits and expectations. It also brought along considerable wealth, large plots of land and a fairly reputable status. The high-society lifestyle was most visible in the behaviour of Elaine's father, whom loved to get media attention more than anything. Although he had multiple women swooning for him (or his wealth), he eventually settled on one from the United States, with whom he previously had a long-distance relationship.

Their daughter was born a mere nine months after she had arrived in France, and Elaine's father decided to make a public thing out of it. A new baby being born was certainly worthy of celebrity news, after all. If anything, her father was great at being famous for the sake of being famous. As a result, Elaine had to deal with media attention and paparazzi since birth. Combine that with the fact that she had been raised to act according to her 'status' with all the right manners and the snobbish attitude included, and a normal childhood was nowhere in sight. Every normal family moment became like an episode of a cheap show, from Elaine's first steps to her first vacation and from her first day at school to her last day in high-school.

The pressure laid onto her, expectations of behaving in the perfect manner, getting the perfect grades, always being ready to appear in front of a camera, and never having a 'bad' or 'off' day during her entire life were catastrophic to her personality. She grew up to be extremely used to being at the centre of the attention and experienced other people as mere 'flies' swarming around her in an attempt to catch her doing something they could write about.

Her only hobby was playing a game called League of Legends, where she didn't have to bother about putting on airs. She played the game in absolute secret. A girl of her status playing games would be the gossip of the century. Needlessly to say, it was only a matter of time before she was caught in the act, and even made some headlines. Her father was furious, as this media coverage ruined the 'good' reputation of their family. Although she knew well enough that he overreacted to make a better show out of the situation, she decided to play along. She suggested she'd pay for her mistakes by studying abroad until the situation would blow over.

Her father eventually agreed to have her study abroad, and after her mother suggested a university she recalled from her youth in the US, Elaine was set on the plain. Only moments before that, her mother had admitted to her that she had a half-brother roaming around somewhere by the name of Garrett Fisherman. Although she didn't know what to do with that information, she was definitely curious about it.

Oddly enough, the American media didn't seem to bother themselves with someone only famous in France, and she had the odd experience of being able to walk across the street without being swarmed by paparazzi. As a result, she had to adjust to 'normal' student life, which was pretty tough considering her personality and complete inexperience with 'normal' life altogether.

Summary:
A rather posh French exchange student who's personality is pretty ruined by an overload of media-attention and expectation combined with a lack of any general care and parenting.

Relationships:
She's the half-sister of Garrett Fisherman, but based on their respective champions, it's unlikely for them to get along.

Other:
  • She definitely didn't get addicted to orange juice. Or maybe just a little...
  • Considering she learned English from her mother, her French accent is barely noticeable.
  • She doesn't exactly have a good grasp on the value of money, a bad result of how she was raised.
