"Oh, I guess I'll wait here" she replied with slight disappointment in her voice. All she wanted to do was unpack, pig out and crawl into bed . She sighed heavily as she slowly approached the chair opposite from the couch and sat down. Smiling shyly at Hanna "I'm uh kacey by the way than--".
In one swift move Kacey kicked her legs up as she watched the mouse drop, unable to hold back a hysterical shriek as the mouse scurried across the room.
She laughed shyly to her self, embarrassed by her outburst. After all it was just a mouse.

The sound of Aaron's awful flatulence made the bridge of her nose wrinkle, the most expression to show on her face in quite a while. Thankfully she wasn't close enough to smell it. There was a scream, then something furry brushed over her feet and she lifted her head back up in time to see a mouse scurry away. She wiggled her bare toes a little while wondering about its sudden appearance on the floor. It wasn't until Hanna scolded Kaleb about pets that she understood he must have had it with him. Anna didn't dislike mice, but she'd never willingly put herself near one. Their teeth were kinda scary and so were the ones with red eyes. She focused a soft stare on Hanna as she apologized and promised not to yell anymore, but Anna knew that she might be just as loud again sooner or later. Most people in the house were noisy anyway. She tried to smile to show her acknowledgement, but her mouth only twisted to the side a little. Was she doing it right?

Grey sighed, feeling the weight of responsibility. "Yeah well they should be back soon...umm...we have a couple empty beds so it shouldn't be a probl-" she cut herself off when Aaron farted next to her. "Aaron! Fuck off!" she said loudly and pushed him away. She had stopped caring about her language a long time ago, and didn't care to sensor it around the children. Besides, most of the people here had heard all of the words before and if not she figured it was time they did. She rolled her eyes, even more frustrated now than she was before. "Come on." she said rather harshly to Kacey and led her through the now crowded living room, glancing at her book lying helplessly on the couch, and took her to the kitchen to set her stuff down until Mr. and Mrs. Cedar found a room for her.

Charlie had been sifting through his luggage so he had missed all the ecitement. He went down stairs and sat in the vanity. He liked the spot since it held only one person. He ran a hand across his left arm where a bruise from the last home was.

Hanna noticed Grey's annoyed tone of voice and sighed. Grey could be quite the annoyed and serious girl. She rarely saw that girl smile. Watching Charlie walk back down and sit by himself she decided to talk to the boy. "Hey Charlie?" She asked rather shyly, she knew he was a new boy to the home. "How old are you?" She inquired as she leaned her head on her arm the laid gracefully on the couch. "Nice hair by the way, forgot to mention it before." She added softly. She watched him rub his bruise and she looked away, not trying to intrude on his personal life. She bit her lower lip and twirled a loose strand of her hair between her fingers.

Anna-Lynn got to her feet and silently wandered to the couch, picking up Grey's book before Hanna lied down. She took it to the corner of the room and sat with it on her lap, carefully flipping through the pages. She could pick out most of the words and that pleased her, there were still a lot of them she didn't understand though. She listened to the big-kids talk when she got bored of defining words in her head, but she continued to slowly flip the pages anyway while trying to tap her foot in the air; mimicking Grey to the best of her ability.

Charlie looked at Hanna shyly."im 16..." he said as he slipped a sleeve over his arm."and thanks." He didnt mind living here he just wasnt used to people being nice.

Hanna gave him a small smile. She knew what is was like to be the new kid here, she had been one. This house cared for her when no one else would. Her depression led to her slicing her wrists badly, her "boyfriend" at the time beat her, she was all alone. "Yeah, I remember being the new kid here, it sucks but you get use to it. Its warm in the winter and cool in the summer and its for the most part safe." She said looking away at the ceiling remembering when Mrs. Cedar had brought her in, she had cried and cried and cried and Mrs. Cedar had hugged her just like a mother would her small child. She just sighed and remembered she had to clean the kitchen before they got home. Looking back at Charlie she stared at him for a second and noticed how cute he really was. "You're pretty cute by the way." She said getting up and walking into the kitchen.

With those words Charlie blushed "t-thanks." He stuttered out. He pressed back into the vanity hoping he would just dissolve away. He remembered back to when his foster parents he had the first go round would beat him, because he was too young to go buy them alchohol and cigarettes.
