Carnival of Myths and Make Believe

"Yeah i better get to it and angie i cant work late tonight" he said hoping she knew why

Anita glanced up again, as she felt a gaze on her. She noted Vergil and Angie's distant greetings and inclined her head in turn before dodging through the last few patches of sun and into the tent that housed some of the cages. The vampire walked right up to the one holding the large lion. Not even pretending to be frightened, she unlocked and opened the door before jumping into the tight confines with the beast. She flashed a fangy smile.

"Good evening, luv" She purred before reaching to scratch behind the large cats ears. Without much more words, she exited the cage, letting the door stay open behind her as she went about finding the collar and leash for the giant feline. She had a few minutes to kill before the rest of the sunlight seeped away for the night. She'd tend to the beasts during the wait.

"I know." She said happily. She was used to working with all types of supernaturals by now. Her dad and her never minded having to cooperate around those types of things.

(ooc: I think I am going to put up a character skeleton for her father later. So we know who we are talking about if he comes up.)

Kyoto sighed. "Looks like miming isn't a talent at all." He whispered to himself, walking towards his own tent. He got a wet rag, violently trying to remove all the ridiculously tons of makeup that was caked on his face. Then he looked in the mirror at his reflection.

(Sounds like a good idea. )

"Thank you" he said and walked to his tent to get ready for his show

Anita went about feeding and watering the various animals in the cages. She had to do the larger stables outside the tent as well, but she wanted to wait for the sun to set a bit further before adventuring back out of the tent. She felt a nose at her back and a rumble. Glancing over her shoulder the woman gave the lion an amused smirk. Really, she didn't understand why most humans were frightened of the large felines. Granted, a lion charging at them was a lot more dangerous than one charging at her. But still. She scooped up another steak from the pile and tossed it over her shoulder at feline.

"Now go sit and wait patiently." She instructed before moving the cart full of meat from cage to cage.

Vergil got dressed into his show clothes and walked into a large tent to do his act.

Angie sat down at the nearest bench. She made another sigh and began to think about what the supernaturals really thought of her. She was only a human. Yeah she was apart of the carnival but did they really see her as a friend or just...just something they had to deal with.

Vergil ran through his show quickly hoping to get out before the moon rose, he always feared that he would change during a show but that had not happend in months

Kyoto exited his tent, his face paint removed and he was in his original attire. "Might as well watch some shows for fun." He thought to himself, looking at the tents. He truly didn't know which one to go in. He scratched the back of his head in confusion.

Anita, finalyl deciding she was done waiting, leashed Simba up and pulled the giant feline from the tent and began to walk him towards the carnival center. She'd walk him around for awhile and let the humans see him. She whistled a merry tune as she walked the ground freely, what little light there was, wasn't nearly enough to make her burst into flames now. The vampire skipped alongside the lion, barely paying any attention to those around her until she spotted Angie. She pulled Simba over to the girl.

"Care for a ride, luv?" She inquired. Surely it was bad business for the mascot to look so down? "Help me put on a show for the crowd?" she asked. She hadn't interacted much with the others in the carnival, and this, she was pretty sure, was the first time she'd invited someone in on her act.

Angie looked up at Anita. "Really? Okay." She said, her smile now back. Maybe they did like her?, she thought. She hopped on Simba calmly. She pet him gently.

Vergil walked outside the tent after the show finished and walked over to his putting a sign of the door saying "out for lunch" most of the people in carnival knew what it ment. He walked far into the forest behind his tent and waited.

Anita flashed a fang at the girl in a half smile before leading the lion further into the center of the crowd. She didn't always do her performances in the tent like she was supposed to. She thought it was funny watching the humans react to the lion at first before they calmed down enough to realize it was just part of the show. The vampire reached and undid the leash, glancing up at the girl on the lions back.

"Do be sure to hold tight," was her only warning before she issued a low command and the lion went barreling off into the throng of people without his leash and without the vampire standing back holding it with a fanged smirk. After a moment, the vampire followed, whistling the circus tune as she swung the leash in lazy circles with her fingers.

Vergil waited he hated changing in day time it was easier to be stopped by humans. suddenly his back arched over and he grew fur and a tail, long claws and sharp teeth. After he had fully changed he howled loudly it being heard all through the carnival.
vergil werewolf form

Angie did as she was told. To Angie having the lion run around with her on top was just a blast. I guess you could say it was her madness that lead to that. Her hair blow back as the lion ran around. She pulled one hand up and grabbed onto her hat so it wouldn't blow off.

Vergil roamed the forest and trotted back to the carnival but tryed to stay hidden behind the tents

Kyoto was a bit freightned. That Lion, and that lively howl that came from near the woods.

The vampire paused as heard the howl, but shook her head and ignored it as she pushed the ring into the center of the large space. She enjoyed the shrieks the human patrons where letting loose. She nearly felt like giggling at the sounds. Her eyes darted to the figure on the lions back, checking to make sure that Angie was still alright. Satisfied that all was still well, the vampire raced to get a few more of the props, no more than a blur to most as she darted behind the tents, away from most of the crowd. After she had the 'stage' more or less set, She pulled the whip from her belt and cracked it hard against the ground with a shrill whistle. SImba turned and raced towards her with a loud roar, part of the act so to say.

Vergil watched the act from a far still in his werewolf form he had learned how to control himself but not when he changed
