Dranai scanned the ground below and saw Ekta below him. He landed, laying down as to come eye level with Ekta.
"I'm sorry Ekta...I freaked out. I saw the smoke off in the distance from my cave and I thought you might be in trouble. But it looks like I was wrong. Sorry about that. I hope I didn't alert anyone in your village. But I brought something just in case I did..." he pulled out the vial and showed it to Ekta.
"I will only use this if I absolutely need to. It is my incomplete mixture. It will allow me to turn into a human for 3 hours..."
Dranai looked around and back at Ekta.
"Is this the way we need to go to find that last ingredient?"
The terrain didn't look at that intimidating. Not for him at least. He turned his head like a dog, wondering why Ekta wasn't going anywhere yet. He went eye level with her again.
"Did I startle you that much? I'm so sorry...I'll make it up to you anyway you want!" His look was that of sorrow.
