Camping

I was out camping with my friend. We were just sitting at the fire laughing at something we just said. I was just enjoying this care free time that I forgot we were in the wilderness. I had left my pistol in the tent which could be a big mistake. I was average size and was tone muscled. I had brown hair and blue eyes with ears that some people say look elfish. The fire waved back and forth changing the way it illuminated our faces. I didn't think this time could ever go wrong. Suddenly my marshmallow caught fire and I quickly tried to blow it off. When it was finally out, after relighting almost 5 times, I put it between two gram crackers and watched it smoosh out. Unfortunate I had forgotten the chocolate but it was still good.

It was a cool night with a full moon. Not that we could see it with the tree overhead. We had cleared the ground so it was only dirt. The tent was secure because the wind would act up every once and a while. I had a long sleeve shirt on and jeans not only because it was colder out but also to protect me from the mosquitoes.

I grab my sides laughing at his attempt to put out his marshmellow, falling on my back I lay there looking at the trees. The night was cool, it felt wonderful to be away from the city. As the wind blew through the trees ruffling my grey tee-shirt I sat back up. I have long dark brown hair tied back in a pony tail. Both my arms and legs were rather long and skinny. I had more muscle on my legs from soccer than I had on my arms. I was wearing my favorite boot cut jeans that wrapped around my tennis. As I stared into the fire with my bright green eyes, which most times have been compared to cat eyes, the wind blew the hair from my pony tail into my face.
"Hmph... Stupid wind." I said as I tried to put it back into its place.

"You ok down there?" I said still laughing. It didn't last for long. I heard a growl from behind me. Quickly I turned to look and could see two eyes peering from a bush.

"I don't know." Soon enough our question was answered. A wolf jumped out from the bush and tackled me to the ground. I struggled to get it off and tried to grab my gun. The wolf tried attacking me a couple times more but when I had gotten my gun it turned and attacked Blaise. I didn't want to shoot in fear of hitting her by mistake so I grabbed it and threw it to the ground. It managed to bite my arm as I was throwing it. I shot it two times in the head and it lay still. My arm was dripping from the bite so I put my hand over it trying to stop the blood.

Coughs and rolls on her side on the ground. "well that *cough* answeres that question" Looks and sees your scratched arm, "Oh my gosh! Are you ok?" Stands shakily looks at the bite then goes into the tent and grabs the first aid kit "Let me help."

"Ok." I said as I sat on a log and watched her work on my wound. "I'm sorry, I should have kept my gun on me... your ok though right?"

Smiles "Yeah of course I am, thanks." Steadily works the wound, cleans it, then wraps his arm to stop the bleeding.

The bandage turns red. "I guess its a little worse than I had though..." I said as I looked at Blaise. I took a deep breath and let it out. "So what do you want to do?.. I mean we were just attacked by a wolf in the middle of the woods so... what can we do?"

"Well if you're not to scared we can stay here for the night, if you're to scared though we can go back and have your arm properly fixed." Grins at him, flick her orange ears as if they where radars. "Plus I don't hear anything else close in the woods, guess its up to you what we do."

"I'm not shy from danger." I said smirking. The wind blows hard and I grab the tent as it starts to blow away. "I think we should nail down the tent if we're staying though." I said with a somewhat forced smile.

"Alright alright" puts her arm up bracing against the wind and grabs the nails for the tent. "here we go" Hands them to you and holds down the tent for you to nail it in.

I start to nail them in with solid hits from my hammer. It didn't take long before I had nailed it down. "There. That should hold." I said has a put the hammer down. Again I heard growling from the bush. "Again." I turned to see a pair of eyes peering through the bush. I pulled out my pistol and waited to see if it was planning on attacking.

(( haha yuppers)) Flicks her ears in the direction of the sound and turns to face it. "whats with the wolves tonight? we dont normally have this much trouble with them." Reaches to her belt loop and pulls out a dagger and stands defensivly towards the eyes.

Another two jumped from behind. I quickly turned and shot the one jumping at Blaise then whacked the other one with my pistol. The one in the bush jumped at me from behind while I shot the wolf I just hit away. I didn't have enough time to react because by the time I had turned it was already at my face seconds from tackling me.

"HAH!" kicks off the ground at the pouncing wolf and knocks it on its back then quickly plunges her knife into its chest. Covered in blood she stand, "ew, nasty" grins and looks at him " Not bad James, not bad at all"

"I don't think it's over just yet." A couple more wolfs step out from the shadows. "What's going on?" I shot a couple before they could start attacking but the 6 others rushed at us. I shot two before they met us with a tackle and a bite. I waked one off of me and shot the one that tackled Blaise as the two others bit me on the leg and on the same arm as last time. I kicked the one off my leg but the one on my arm wouldn't let go.

Jumps up off the ground with a grunt and runs at the one biting him. Slams into it sideways making it let go with a yelp as it falls on its side, trys to stop herself but trips over it and lands on the other side with a thud. sits up quickly but is then pinned down my the wolf. I mangage to grab my knife and stick in its jaw, it then collapses on me and we lay motionless. I have long rakes down my arms both bleed profusly for the previous attacks.

I shot the wolf I had kicked off me then ran over and through the wolf off Blaise. "Are you ok?" Then I notice the cuts on her arm. Afraid if I left to grab the first aid kit I stayed next to her. I reloaded my gun in case anymore wolfs decided to join the fun.

"yeah haha im *coughs* fine" grins weakly, the cuts start to fade fast. "the wounds arnt to extensive i can heal myself some." By time she is done she just has a few scratches on her fore arms. "and there all good" pauses to take a piece of wolf hair out of her mouth "Pleh, hmmm i wonder what has gotten into them?" looks around worriedly "Are you ok?"
