Colette had only been on the bus ride for a few minutes and she already wanted to drive her face through the window. People annoyed her. Voices annoyed her. Life in general; annoyed her. She was never quite the people person, whether it be the permanent scowl on her face, or the rude way she spoke-- she just wasn't meant for conversing with strangers. Colette sat on the bus with crossed arms, her head lazily turned to peer out the window as the bus drove on. The scenery wasn't much, although it had given her something to look at, a little distraction from the ruckus around her. Never did the girl take her eyes off the window, although she seemed disinterested in the world around her, her head just resting against the back of the seat as if the bus ride itself was giving her a headache. She couldn't help but wonder when they'd get there, or if this bus ride was her own little personal hell.

As for Tobias, he had found the conversations a little interesting, although he had yet to open his mouth and address the other campers. He mainly eavesdropped on the conversation of two girls a few seats over, discussing their abilities. Weather control, huh? That seemed pretty cool, he couldn't help but wonder what it'd look like in action as he leaned back in his seat. Golden eyes slowly scanned over his surroundings, taking a second to glance at his new camp mates. Tobias just hoped that they'd get along decently, just shoving his hands in the pocket of his hoodie as he dragged his foot across the floor of the bus, pretending to be interested in the scratchy noise that his shoes had created.

Soon enough the group saw it: The giant wall marking the beginnings of the grounds. Once they passed through, the announcement on the Walkie Talkies came through. Everyone was to wrap up checks and report t the parking lot near the offices. This is where the new batch is always dropped off. Meanwhile the campers' bus went through a thick forest, with occasional peek of devices, seemingly designed to keep stuff in said woods. Zack noticed and started musing to himself what they were keeping. Regardless they arrived at the only modern looking building in the camp, stopping with a pretty good lurch, waking Morgan with mild annoyance and Surprising Mia alittle. The councilors were lined up outside, with the head in the middle. Doors opened and the campers grabbed their packs and moved out.

Drake rushed with his partner opce the announcement came through, giving tech guys the broken gear and bolting through a short cut with his former military partner, explaining that the boss would make their heads roll if they failed to show up on time. Dakota and Rikki had gotten done on time and were able to make it on time as they disemarked.

Dahlia enjoyed being deeper in the woods, a wave of excitement rushing over her when she saw the large wall. It was a bit intimidating, to be honest, but she still got giddy. When the bus stopped with a lurch, the girl stumbled and stood up, waiting for other campers to pass before walking into the aisle with Ashley. She accidentally bumped into a golden-eyed boy, causing her to blush. Dahlia turned to him, shooting him a sweet smile. "Sorry." The elemental said gently, then continued walking off of the bus with the other girl. Internally, she was screaming in excitement, but she managed to stay calm externally. The clouds she had previously gathered were cleared away because of how joyful she was, and now she couldn't really gather more. Dahlia was simply too thrilled.

Mentioned: Tobias (@Mysty ), Ashley (@neobendium )

Ashley snickered at Dahlia's blush at bumping into the boy but didn't comment. She looked around at the trees with a whisper of "woah," at the sight. She'd only ever lived in the city, this was completely new to her and she loved it.

Tyler stood up and exited after everyone else, brooding as usual and just following the crowd where they went. He was in no mood to be bothered...he really just wanted to find somewhere to be alone. Unfortunately, he doubted that there'd be many chances of that.

Erik ran after drake and soon arrived with him at the parking lot. Nodding to the other councilors that were already there, Erik stood in an at ease posture. Examining the group as they walked off the bus, Erik did not see anyone that stood out as a troublemaker. The only one that stood out to him was the brooding boy with the dog tags. Sighing silently, Erik put on his friendliest face and nodded to any of the campers that met his eyes with their own.

Another two of the trouble making type could be seen soon after the brooder. A girl with greasy black hair, golden eyes, and generally looking like some one who lived in a back alley. might jump you in it a swell. Had the aura of a time bomb of violent issues to. She did meet his gaze though, almost like a challenge.

The other looked pretty weathered aswell, but not that badly. A kid who lived in a ghetto, not the streets of one. He had the look and aura of a fighter, met the guy's gaze aswell.

(@Ravenbelle feel free to sense Morgan btw)

As the walkie talkies on her and Dakota's hips announced the arrival of the newest campers at Camp Rising Hero, Rikki lost the butterflies and her eyes widened with excitement instead. She grinned with a low, "Nevermind. Let's go!"
And with that the fellow councilors were off, putting away the cleaning supplies swiftly before half running half skipping to the parking lot (at least Rikki was that is). She ended up standing at attention, back straight and feet together with loud exhale from the sudden stop right next to Erik 30 seconds before the bus lurched before them. Rikki took a deep breath as the kids walked out one by one, each adding their own unique set of emotions to the roiling mess she was steeling herself for. Rikki grit her teeth behind a small smile, trying to adopt a friendly exterior while trying to distinguish which kid was feeling what. Overall, there was some excitement, nervousness, which was to be expected, but also some bitterness and irritation. One girl in particular seemed to carry with her a weighted cloud of caution and pent-up aggression, clearly the golden eyes that met Erik's beside Rikki had a problem with authority despite his clear show of courtesy. Maybe she could somehow sense his past in the military? But then what about the Head of Camp? She looked up at her fellow councilor for a moment, but he didn't seem too bothered. She wondered what range of powersets they would all demonstrate. Or if many of them would. Sure, RC had skimmed through their files awhile back when she was asked, but she didn't want to invade their privacy without even meeting them and she hardly remembered who could do what.

She considered sending a calming wave over the small crowd, but she didn't want to tire herself out today if she could help it. Besides, she had to deal with all their emotions at once and using up the patience and concentration it took to keep that from affecting her wasn't something she would do if she could help it. Hopefully, they would all settle in comfortably soon, not just for her sake, but theirs too.

The fire user and the energy user were off the bus after some people had left, Psiion dancing a bit as she walked and Castiel keeping a few paces behind her so as to not get hit as she danced. Castiel watched everyone around him and slowly started to feel that he had made the mistake of stowing away to this camp. He could have instead lied to his parents that this was a camp to 'rehabilitate' people like him. It would have worked. Psiion, however looked around with intrest and excitedness about being around a lot of people like her. Taking in a deep breath, Psiion did the one thing she knew she was good at, getting attention. "Hello fellow campers!" She called out, startling Castiel who was still standing beside her. "What the heck?!" He yelled out, looking at the pale girl.

(Was going to wait on everyone, but oh well. this is good too.)
Seeing as some of the camper were getting rowdy the big guy clears throat, loudly. "Attention!" he called out. Once everyone was focused he continued, beginning to pace slowly as he talked. "Welcome to Camp Rising Hero!I'm former Liutentant Grant Smith, or back in the day Liutenant Grav Smash! I'm in Charge you lot will go from zeroes with barely a handle on your powers to Heroes we can send in the field to take care of what your average donuts lover cop can't!" He took a breath, still going in a near drill sergeant voice "These councilors will put you through the ringer to draw out the best you got!" and with the last bit seemed to deflate a little, the older councilors resisting the urge to laugh at his reaction to the next bit "However as this still qualifies as a civilian summer camp aswell, so there will be the conventional classes and rec. zones as well." Guess it's true what they say, can take a solider out of the army, but can't take the army out of the solider.

Colette slowly made her way off the bus, her glare enough to kill. She had a case of the resting bitch face it seemed, just calmly stepping off the bus. She raised her head to look around, getting a better look at her fellow campers. They all stuck out in their own way, whether it be strange appearances (such as hair color), or personality. For example, like Castiel, Colette had jumped when the girl next to her had called out rather excitedly, trying to regain her cool and calm disposition while smoothing our her shirt, despite the fact that the fabric clung to her figure, so there wasn't much to smooth out. "Wow, only five minutes in, and I've already figured out who I'm going to want to push in front of a bus." Colette chided, placing a hand on her hips as she sneered over to the other girl.

Collete had jumped again when the man in the front had begun to yell, almost falling over as she caught her balance, trying to ignore the way her heel made a too-loud crack sound against the pavement.

Tobias had jumped slightly when he had been bumped into, blinking owlish golden eyes at the culprit until he smiled, noting that it had been the cute girl with the weather-related powers. "Don't worry about it." He said with a small smile, just shoving his hands back into the pocket of his hoodie as he looked forward as everyone began to shuffle off the bus, looking over as a pair of campers were already yelling. A very energetic looking girl, and a rather.. attractive looking guy, Tobias concluded, but his gaze was knocked off the pair as someone had begun to yell. He snapped his attention to the front, barely listening to what the man was saying despite not being distracted. 'So, not only do we get to be freaks of nature, but we get to do arts and crafts as well? Cool.' Tobias thought to himself, biting the inside of his cheek to fight back a smirk at the mere thought of Superman making macaroni art.

Seeing everyone off of the bus and lined up now, Dahlia became more frightened than she previously had been. There are so many... Why didn't it look like there were this many kids on the bus?! Dahlia thought, trying not to frown by biting her lip. Her knees were buckling in the slightest way and she held her little potted plant in front of her. She was glad to be standing next to Ashley and the boy she had bumped into. At least she had interacted with both of them before. The girl nearly jumped ten feet when a man started yelling like a drill sergeant. Dahlia, more nervous than belated now, stared straight ahead with a blank expression. The wind picked up very slightly and she was able to gather dark clouds over the sun again. The leaves of her little Watermelon Peperomia plant stood straight up, the tips occasionally curling and uncurling. Still, Dahlia listened closely to what the man was barking out and stared at him blankly. She sometimes met the eyes of other councilors, but tried to keep her gaze on Grant Smith. However, she looked at the boy out of the corner of her eye, noticing how he bit his cheek. She shrugged, focusing back on former Lieutenant Grant Smith.

Ashley almost laughed at the energetic girl. She would be fun. She noted Dahlia's jump and rested her palm on her shoulder, hoping it would calm her. She stood stock still, pressing her lips together so she wouldn't laugh at Grant's voice and mannerisms.

Tyler stared at the energetic girl with his first hint of suprise. He overheard what Colette had sneered at her and couldn't keep back a snicker at her remark. Had to say, he agreed with her. He nearly jumped out of his skin when the lieutenant started barking, but soon relaxed as his hand encircled the dog tags. It reminded him of his grandfather's stories, and for some reason, instead of angering him at the memory, it calmed him.

Maybe this place wouldn't be so bad.

Rikki took a deep breath, still acclimating to the vast amalgamation of emotions in the group of near 20 campers. One of them, a pale girl with a burst of excitement and energy shouted her greetings to everyone to an audience of varying reactions. Some were irritated, confused or admiring, even affectionate. Either way, Rikki had to shake her head when they were all replaced with a bolt of alertness and shock when Mr. Smith demanded their attention. Some were a bit intimidated by his booming voice while others resented it, but Rikki nearly giggled as his facade slipped a little with the words he used.
These councilors will put you through the ringer to draw out the best you got!"
RC rolled her eyes. As if. She gave the kids a welcoming smile trying to settle some down without having to use her powers. In fact, she was debating on whether she should even show them what she could do at all. If she didn't say anything about it, it was very rare that anyone could guess what her ability even was. Maybe she could better help them through the summer if they didn't know about her subtle influence on it.

The councilors during the speech tried to shoot reassuring looks that showed they weren't that hard core, just the Grant being his old army self. Meanwhile Morgan was getting rubbed the wrong way with head guy, but knew better than to strike then and there. later though...

Zack grit his teeth, pinched the bridge of his nose. man, a drill serg as the guy in charge. Last thing he needed right now. least the other councilors looked cooler headed. though he snorted at the guy deflating at the mention of normal activities. "Seems someone is too into the military..." he mutters, loud enough for some one near him to hear.

Mia gulped as she heard the whole thing, wondering just what she got herself into. However the councilors didn't look exactly like the types who would be too mean. hopefully that meant she was okay. Still nerves were rather evident, especially with the soft beeping of her collar, denoting the thing sensing stress levels were up.

"Grav Smash? Grant Smith" Gabby shrugs his shoulders and turns to his sister. "Remember that guy from the first Despicable Me movie?"

"I don't want to," Sam responds in a most stoic manner.

"Way to ruin the commentary, sister. I was about to pull the punchline," Gabby says. "Alright sister, let's show everyone what we Yggdrasils are made of! Today we'll find out if we're better than Chimera and Jellyfish Man."

"And the rest of our family," Sam continues.

"Even Sand Dollar and Worm King?" Gabby questions.

"Even Sand Dollar and Worm King," Sam replies.

They continued to look at Grant Smith as he spewed words from his mouth.

If Psiion heard the grumbling witch close by to her, she didn't give her the time of day. Her headphones may be loud, but a small bit of her ear was uncovered so she could hear other things around her. She was just excited to be with others like her that should couldn't help getting excited. She silently hoped that not only does she learn how to control her destructive powers, but also make a few lasting friendships. She just kept bouncing in place as the drill sergeant gave his speech.

Castiel, on the other hand, turned and glared at the girl that made that comment. Sure he wasn't expecting the bubbly girl to be so freaking loud but to say that someone has found the first person to push in front of a bus was a bit much. Rolling his eyes at the tiny girl he scoffed and decided to put in his two cents as quietly as possible so that the dim-witted army guy wouldn't hear. "At least she makes herself friendly and open about her emotions instead of acting like a snob with a forest up every entrance of her body." He said, refraining from cursing but still insulting all the same.

After the speech the Seargent Yelled "Alright, Next we move on to see what we have to work with! Follow me!" he roared and led them to the training zones arena. While normally it isn't filled with a lot of droids, or soimetimes none when campers where duking it out for personal or class reasons, today it was filled with all of the very low end varieties. Liuetenant Smith Turned around and once again roared out "This is the arena. normally reserved for combat training or settling any grief between you. Today we have our lower end bots for you to demonstrate what you already know!" He got the read out equipment ready and then asked "Any volunteers? Or am I going to have to read off names?" rather loudy.

Ashley looked around, and, after a few seconds, slowly raised her hand before anyone else could. "You won't have to read out mine," she called out, slightly nervous but ready for action. Time to prove what she could do. Her eyes were shining, a grin was on her face, and she was bouncing slightly, hyping herself up.

"You won't have to read out ours either," Gabby raises both his and his sister's arms as their bodies rise. While Gabby smiles, Sam's face remained neutral.

It was time to unleash their full potential.

He looks up her file and nods going "alright Ms. Carter, your up." he says, voice lowered but gruff. the doors open to the concrete wall thing, stands to the sides. He gets to th control booth waiting for her to enter. As usual he would start slow but start ramping things up.

He acknowledged the twins saying "One at a time you two, but we have our second and third." and then acknowledged Morgan Zack and Mia as they volunteered.
