Background Info:
In the warmer area of Oregon, just of off Marion Lake is a basic, average summer camp- Camp Marion. Just a little ways from the canoe-dotted shore, surrounded by lush green forests, sit small, screened in cabins connected by dirt paths. The boys cabins and the girls cabins sit on opposite sides of the campgrounds. In the center of the camp is the campfire pit and the mess hall, both important in the running of the camp. Beyond the mess hall is the activity center with a range of various different buildings intending to entertain the campers such as arts and crafts, games, etc. (There are about 60 campers, 30 boys and 30 girls. They are all 8-14 years old. Each Counselor-In-Training, or CIT, is responsible alongside an official Counselor for 2 cabins, or 10 campers. Campers are NPC.)
Beyond all this, is the counselors quarters, where our story takes place. Counselors-In-Training, CIT's, most often ex-campers, are students ages 17-19 who are learning to be counselors. These are the people who run the mess hall, monitor activities, entertain the campers, and overall make sure everyone has fun an remains safe. They are each adorned a whistle, a Camp Marion t-shirt, and a cot in one of the two CIT cabins. (Counselors sleep in the camper's cabins) The actual plot will be more about the Counselors lives and relationships then the camp activities themselves.

Reason for CITing: During the school year, Brynn and her mother made an agreement. If Brynn got all C's or higher, she could do as she pleased over the summer. If Brynn got any lower, her mother got to pick out an enriching program for her to indulge in. Her mother chose CITing and Camp Marion because she had used to attend their when she was a little girl, and wanted her daughter to experience new responsibilities as she becomes an adult.
Personality: Brynn is fairly relaxed. She tries not to let things bother and tries to enjoy her youth as much as possible. She is blunt in a way that can often be off-putting, or hilarious, depending on which way you take it. She walks the line between introvert and extravert, enjoying company but also enjoying a few moments to herself.
BG/Home life: Brynn's home life is fairly average. Her mother is strict, while her father is lenient. Her mother recently had a miscarriage, causing Brynn's mom to cling onto her as her last hope of a successful offspring. Put off by the spike in pressure, Brynn skips school quite often and finds herself in trouble. She loves smoking cigarettes on the back porch with her dad, but her mom always makes them put them out.
How many years attended camp: 0, but her mother attended for a straight 7 years.
