Bound by peace

Re: Binded by peace

He escorted her farther into the garden. His favorite place in the garden was the lake in the back. As they walked he kept up a constant flow of conversation. This was what happiness had to be, walking with the woman he loved, the woman holding his developing child, the wind blowing nicely.. how lovely it was. Why hadn't he ever found this enjoyment before? Aubron looked down at Gwendolyn, a soft smile on his face. He gave her arm a soft squeeze as they the gardens gave way to a lake.

"This is where my mother would bring me. I also like the idea of the wedding being out here?" He asked softly. He didn't want to plan the wedding.. it was her day after all. "Believe it or not, I grew up in these gardens as a boy. As I reached my older years I neglected the beauty of this place. I began to focus on other.. less savory endeavors." He just forced a smile an walked up to the edge of the lake, peering down at the water that reflected his face.

Re: Binded by peace

Gwendolyn walked up behind him, putting a hand on Aubron's arm. She smiled softly.

"The past is behind us now Aubron. Our future awaits us. Let's not dwell on something in the past when we can enjoy every moment we have now in this beautiful place!" She ran through the sand near the shore of the lake, the wind blowing her hair back.

"This breeze feels great! No offense, but the castle is a bit stuffy..." she twirled around once and stopped, breathing in the fresh air. She placed her hands on her stomach and smiled brightly. She ran back to Aubron, grabbing his hand and dragging him into the shallow waters of the lake, the water wading up to their ankles. She placed his hand on her stomach and smiled up at him.

"Aubron, this lake is where we shall take our baby everyday...And...this is the perfect spot for us to be wed...don't you think so Aubron?" She sat there for a while, holding Aubron's big hand on her small stomach. It was small, at least for now...In a few months from now, it wouldn't be so small. She was nervous. This would be the first child she would have ever had in her life. She didn't know if she'd be a good mother or not, but she figured that she should at least give it a try.

"Aubron....what do you guess? Boy or girl?"

Re: Binded by peace

She was so beautiful. The way the wind blew through her hair. Even how her feet daintily hit the sand was attractive. How could he be so head over heels for this woman? He didn't really care. All he knew was that he was and he definitely wasn't planning on falling out of love with her. Soon, he was dragged from his thoughts when she pulled him towards the lake; the water covering his feet.

When she placed her hands on her stomach he couldn't help but notice how she lit up. This woman was so light, so bright.. He was SO blessed to have her; he couldn't put into words how happy he was with her. After a bit, she placed his hands on her stomach. At the moment it was small, but it wouldn't stay that way for long. Soon, she would have a cute belly holding his child.. his.. What gender did he want?

Aubron just looked at her for a moment. It never occurred to him that he would have a child, but he did. Did he want a boy or a girl? he didn't want his son to be ruined by him or his father, but if he had a daughter... That was his hearts desire.. a daughter. Which most likely meant that they would have to move, escape the constraints of the castle and his father.

"I am not offended. I am definitely aware that the castle is stuffy." He pulled her into his arms and rested his chin on the top of her head. "This would be the perfect place and I would love to have our child out here everyday. As for the gender of our child.." Aubron got quiet as he made sure that he really wanted a little girl. "I think I want a girl... I know I want a girl."

Re: Binded by peace

Gwendolyn nodded. She wanted a girl too. She didn't know what she was going to name her, but naturally, it would be a beautiful name. One to match her royal look. She could just imagine the girl having a gentle figure just like Aubrons. She couldn't wait to meet her and Aubron's beautiful child. Whether it be a boy or girl, it she was still excited.

She walked out of the water and sat down on the beach, running her hands through the semi-wet sand. Her hand imprinted in it and she drew a heart around the hand. This symbolized how she felt about Aubron. He had her heart in his hands. What he chose to do with it was his own choice. No matter what he chose, she was having this baby. She walked back over to Aubron, taking his arm and leading him back toward's the castle.

"We should get back, I'm feeling a bit nauseous..."

He took a moment to look at the hand prints in the sand. That simple action was so adorable.. so cute.. This is why he fell for her.. these little cute things. Aubron allowed her to lead him back to the castle. He wasn't worried about this action until she mentioned being nauseous. Why was she nauseous? Was she sick? Was it just the pregnancy? Was something else wrong? Aubron didn't vocalize any of his worries; he just looked down at her, but the concern was written all over his face. Why couldn't he simply ask what was wrong? Maybe because he was too scared something would be.

Aubron just simply went up to the castle, allowing her to rest. "Why don't you go sleep? I shall demand of another maid to finish what you have not. I feel as if you will start feeling the child growing in you now." He may be grown up in many ways but when it comes to children he was pretty naive. Aubron really knew nothing about children or someone having them. When his sister's were born Aubron was rarely ever around. He was concerned with other things... not trivial things like a little sister being born.

Gwendolyn nodded and laid down on her bed, a cool cloth placed over her stomach. Her mother had taught her that this usually calmed an upset stomach, but she wondered if it would work this time. If it was indeed a baby growing inside of her, then this might be bad for the growoing child. She removed the cloth and grabbed the nearest bucket, just in case her stomach didn't want to settle down. As she sat in her dazed and nauseous state, she couldn't think of anyone else but him, the man who had given her this child. But she wouldn't have had it any other way. She layed on her side, putting the pillow between her legs which made her feel a little better. She kept the bucket close as if it were a close friend. That is when she fell into a deep slumber.

*Dream*

A child ran through a field of flowers to the ocean in front of her. A young little girl. She looked back at her and smiled, laughing a cute laugh.

"Come on Mommy! Let's go play in the water!" She looked so much like Aubron. She had a beautiful frame and an innocent looking face. Gwendolyn smiled and walked the child to the shore side where she ran into the water, giggling.

"You coming in mommy?"

Gwendolyn shook her head.

"Afraid not dear...Mommy's stomach isn't feeling so good right now..."

"Mommy, where is daddy?"

"He's back at the castle. He said he would come as soon as he got dressed....He's probably on his way now...No worries Arwen..."

The little girl went back to playing in the sand and the dream ended here.

*End of Dream*

Gwendolyn woke up with a jolt, whispering the name that was in her mind now....Arwen....that was a perfect name for their little girl...She had to tell Aubron. That is, if she could find him without running into the king.

Aubron was sitting in the library, staring outside. He leaned against the wall, lost in a daze. Everything just started sinking in. The baby. The marriage. Part of him was terrified and another part was completely excited. A new chapter of his life was starting.. but what scared him was the fact it was happening so soon.. It had only been a little over a week since the girl got there.. within that week he managed to get her pregnant and engaged.. Aubron sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.

Just what Gwendolyn didn't want to happen.. happened. The king saw her walking, and he quickly went after her, pushing her against the wall. "I miss you in my bed.." He growled in her ear; his hand groping her through her clothes. "I want you again.. Maybe I will take you right here." The king pushed his hips into hers.. he was already stimulated, and she could feel it. "I promise it won't hurt.. not today. I'm feeling... soft."

Gwendolyn struggled to move against the king. She normally would have given in since she was the King's peace treaty to this king. But she couldn't let him be too rough with her now...Not within this fragile state. She squirmed, trying to get away from the ever perverted King.

"Your Majesty...now? Really? Can we please wait just a bit longer? Please? At least until we find a room?"

He looked like he was beyond the point of no return. He wanted her and he wanted her now. She called out for Aubron a couple of times before the King covered her mouth. He wasn't going to let her get away from him, but maybe, if she could stave him off long enough than Aubron would come and help her. She was in no position to physically harm the king. If she did, their treaty would be null and void and her kingdom would be in danger. But there was no problem with Aubron doing what he wanted to his pervert of a father. She hoped that Aubron would come soon. She could hardly breath under the King's weight as he struggled to have her right there in the hallway for all to see.

"Please Aubron...hurry...if you dont...he...will..." she choked out. She tried to stay concious till Aubron arrived. She couldn't let the king take her now....Especially when she was now pregnant with Aubron's child.

"Yes. Now." He began to drop his pants.. his desire for her insatiable.. at least until Aubron came down the hall, landing a swift punch in his father's jaw, causing blood to trickle from the corner of his lips. The king fell to the ground, looked up at his son like he had been betrayed, but that look soon turned to anger.. then murder in his eyes as he picked himself from the ground, backhanded Gwendolyn, his rings creating a red streak across her fair skin.

Aubron's face turned eyes, eyes lit up with anger. There was no point in going after his father.. none at all; he didn't need the kingdom coming after him for murdering his father.. Instead he gripped his girl's wrist, tighter then he meant to most likely and dragged her into the room. They were packing... right now. If need be they would live in the wilderness.. Somehow Aubron would make it on his own; he had to.

"Pack up.. We are leaving. I will find a job in some small town. I will find a way to keep a roof over your head." He growled. Aubron didn't mean to come across sounding so abrasive. It wasn't anything she did, and he would probably apologize for his actions after. He started flinging her dresses and his clothes on the bed then shoving them into a pack. This journey was going to be hard... but it had to happen.

Gwendolyn held her bleeding face as Aubron dragged her to safety. She followed willingly. Aubron began to pack. She knew what he was after. He didn't want her here anymore. He was going to run away with her? But he was royalty. He had everything going for him. She had a baby, but that was it and it wasn't exactly and easy thing to take care of. She grabbed Aubron's hands, trying to calm his fury.

"Aubron, dear...You need to calm down and think rationally. Why would you want to run away? You are royalty and have everything going for you...You stay here and I'll go...Don't abandon everything and start out with nothing..." she held her now showing belly. It had been a month or so when she and Aubron concieved this child. Knowing Aubron though, he would do it...he would do it because of her and his daughter. He probably felt a sense of obligation. Tears began falling down her face.

"I don't want you to leave with me only because you feel it an obligation to me and Arwen....If you are going to leave behind this...all you have known...I will only allow you to do it if you are truly and sincerely in love with me...."

She had to test Aubron. Doing it because of Obligation and not love was something a lot of men did these days with women they had concieved a child with. She wanted to know, was he leaving sincerely for her, or was he doing it because he felt he needed to take care of her and the baby because of what he did? She also knew the reason why he might be doing this was because of the king endangering their lives. If that was the case, then she would accept that answer too...

When he heard her voice, he stopped for a moment and looked back at her. It almost made him even more frustrated when she thought he was doing this out of obligation. Why the hell would he do that? Aubron never did anything out of obligation. Was this her doubting his emotions, his feelings? He clenched his jaw, shoved a few more things in the bag, closed it, slung it over his shoulder, before answering any questions she may have.

"This is not out of obligation. Yes, you are holding my child, but that does not mean I am doing this just for that." Aubron finally sighed, finalled calmed down. "I am doing this because you are the woman I have fallen for, the one I want to marry... the one that has my heart. You do not need to live in the place. Our daughter does not need to grow up here."

That was all the explanation he gave her. Once again he took her hand and pulled her from the room. Swiftly, he left the castle, went to the barn and got one horse. Lifting her up, he gently placed her on the back of the horse then climbed on behind her, signalling the horse to move, trying to get as far away from this place before nightfall as possible.

On the horse, the moving made her nauseous, but she had to hold on. They could get off once they were farther away. She held onto Aubron and watched as the trees and mountains moved by quickly. She layed her head on his back, closing her eyes, hoping it would quell her nauseousness. She soon fell asleep.

*Dream*

Arwen ran up to her, hugging her leg.

"Mommy, when will brother be here?"

She smiled softly, patting the girl's beautiful and soft golden locks.

"He will be here soon..."

Arwen set her hand on her stomach, giggling.

"I can feel him mom!" She too put her hand on her stomach. Sure enough there was a kick. She flinched a bit.

*Wakes up*

They had stopped and she looked up at Aubron.

"Where are we?"

"We are just in a clearing for the night," he said tiredly. They had been riding most of the day. After he dismounted he lifted Gwendolyn off the horse then set her down gently. He needed to make her place to sleep comfortable.. she was the pregnant woman after all, and he didn't want her over fatigued. "Here is your bed." Aubron motioned to a simple pile of his clothes and the back pack folded for a pillow.

"You will sleep there. Do not argue." He looked at her seriously then began to start a fire. "Unfortunately I forgot food." She couldn't tell if he looked worried but by the tone of his voice.. it was obvious he was. "You will be okay?" Finally he glanced back at her.. praying she would be okay. "Tomorrow we should have food.. I will go hunting."

Once the fire was lit, he crawled over to her and laid her back, holding himself over top of her as he placed soft kisses along her neck. "You are so beautiful," he murmured in her ear before gently nipping at it.

Gwendolyn was moved to a makeshift bed for the night made out of some of what looked to be Aubron's most comfortable clothes. She smiled softly as he told her to make do with the bed and that he would go hunting tomorrow. She was a bit hungry, but she would be fine. If they got food tomorrow, the baby and her should be fine. She looked up at Aubron as he crawled over to her and leaned over her, kissing her neck gently. It sent shivers of pleasure down her spine. Even the nip on the ear felt pleasurable. She sat up as much as she could muster and kissed him on the lips before laying back down.

"You are my prince...everything i've dreamed for and more....I love you so much...Aubron...We need to go back to my kingdom...If we have run off like this, your father will consider it not a part of his treaty and will attack my kingdom for not keeping their word...we need to go to my homeland and protect them...Let us go back to my home country and become it's rulers...protect it..." She looked up at Aubron longingly. She wanted the safety of her people, but more than that, she wanted Aubron to help her rule as her country's monarchs.
