You thought Hyperion was finished. Handsome Jack: Dead. The Warrior: Destroyed. Hyperion pulled back, leaving Pandora alone. The Crimson Raiders occupied Oppurtunity, the Eriduim mines ceased, and people got back to their normal lives. However, Helios was always a constant sight in the sky, it it is there the next chapter unfolds.
Strange things have been happening on Pandora again. When bandit camps in the Southern Shelf start dissappearing, no one takes much notice.
Then a Moonshot Blitz levels Oppurtunity, and people start noticing.
Hyperion troops start landing all across the planet. When the Crimson Raiders, the six Vault Hunters, Lilith, Brick, and Mordecai move to stop them. During the battle, a single Moonshot lands. Not a mortar, not a supply or bot drop, just a canister. Purple-black gas oozes from it. The battle continues until the gas reaches an unsheilded Crimson Raider. His armor melts, his skin burns off, and he dies horribly. The rest of them fall in due course. The greatest heroes of Pandora fall, and with them, all hope.
One man sends out ECHOes all across the Borderlands. He has a plan to fight Hyperion. He needs help. If his plea is not heeded, Pandora will die.
