How do people even pull off being so inaccurate...
Are they doing it on purpose?

Bought some cards from a Farmer's Market once and they were all frauds - I could tell because the coloring was off and they were as thin as paper. They're were so close to being convincing, but you can never trick a true fan.

When I was in elementary or middle school when Pokemon first came out, I had a holographic Blastoise. I traded with my friend, who gave me a Charizard. And it turned out to be a fake. It was a pretty good fake, but still, I was pissed. The "friend" knew what he was doing and I obviously never got my card back. Kids are jerks.
