To say that Lannis is obedient is an understatement. If other GDF-people tells him to jump, he asks how high. It doesn't matter if he puts himself in danger. If it puts someone
else in danger, however, Lannis will hesitate a bit. He isn't heartless, but he will do what is required of him. For good and for bad, Lannis is loyal to a fault. He is also someone who prefers to look at things objectively when making decisions. His emotions don't get much say in important matters.
Due to his emotionally distant and overall serious personality, he doesn't make friends easily. Lannis
wants to make friends, but it's so difficult to acquire and maintain a friendship. Lannis is no good in romantic settings either. Affectionate gestures generally fly over his head.
Due to the consequences of his power, people find Lannis to be forgetful. He can forget the most basic things, like other people's names and you can usually see when he is struggling to remember something. He has even struggled to remember
his own name a few times. Aside from forgetfulness, he can also be very tired and sickly at times. These are also drawbacks from his power.

Power & Biography
Power
Power Absorbtion - The power to absorb/steal powers from others. Lannis focuses on a person nearby and absorbs their power so they end up temporarily powerless while he either simply contains their power or uses it himself. While this superpower is amazing, it has many drawbacks.
Drawbacks:
- Power Absorbtion is normally temporary. The person who lost their power
should regain it within 5-30 minutes depending on how powerful they are. Similarly, Lannis should lose his stolen power after the same amount of time, or even sooner. There have been cases where people haven't regained their stolen power at all and where Lannis has borrowed a power longer than normal (but that information is classified).
- There are certain powers Lannis cannot use or even absorb in the first place, such as immortality. There are also powers he
shouldn't absorb or he might get really sick, disfigured or even die.
- Physical powers are painful to absorb.
- Lannis may be unable to control his absorbed abilities.
- His absorbtion has a fairly short reach, about 5 meters.
- He cannot give his stolen power to someone else.
- Possible after-effects when stealing a power are fatigue, memory loss, sickness, injuries, addiction,...
- Currently, Lannis can only absorb 1 person's power at a time.
- The stolen power will have every limitation that the abilities would possess, ex fire manipulation would still be powerless against fire immunity.
Biography:
Lannis grew up an only-child in a wealthy family. His parents pushed him from a young age, trying to make him someone worthy of the Lannis-name. Some of their methods were unconventional and unethical. They forced him to study for unhealthy lengths of time and occassionally connected him to an IV with energy supplements when he got exhausted.
Lannis didn't get much free-time and the little time he had was spent with his dog or with his only close friend from school. His friend was a meta-human with a levitation-power. When Lannis turned 10, an incident occurred where he accidentally stole his friend's power. This friend never regained their power nor forgave Lannis.
Terrified of his new-found power, Lannis tried to keep it dormant, but incidents kept happening that affected not only his memory and health, but also people around him. They all started to avoid him and he became even lonelier than before. When the GDF caught wind of a prodigy with a power absorbtion superpower, Lannis was dragged into their world. With help, he learned to control his superpower and he has become an important member of GDF, doing both clean and dirty jobs.
