Blood Lust

Why did he always let himself get this way?

It's been a while since Noah became a vampire yet he refused to accept the fact that he had to bite actual humans for blood. It was something he couldn't get used to. If he were to describe the feeling...it'd have to be like using a drugs; you know it's wrong but you just can't stop. Of course some logic goes against that, like the fact that he needs it to live.

So here he found himself wandering the dark streets yet again, losing his sanity to extreme thirst. A bad habit.

Noah's senses caught blood in the air and when his drab red eyes glanced up, he saw what looked like a hospital. The rusted letters spelt out:

EIMHURT HOSPITAL

Now that he took a better look at it, there were no lights, no sounds...nothing. But when he really looked around, Noah realized he had no idea where he was. His withdrawal like symptoms totally made him space out the whole walk. Figuring he had nothing to lose, the young, inexperienced vampire walked in to follow the smell of blood.

The wallpaper was peeling, the floors were dirty and littered with old papers, most likely patient records. Every now and then he'd pass by a bed, some covered in extremely old blood and some in a complete unknown substance.
Rusty wheelchairs sat lonely under the broken lights next to smashed pictures with cheesy lines reading "hope" or "dream".

Noah stopped suddenly and placed a hand over his mouth, he was petrified because the blood he picked up was a living being. Someone else was here....and he was thirsty....way...too...thirsty...

The moon beams that leaked in through cracked, broken windows caught glimpses of long black hair. A small giggle echoed throughout the decrepit building, soon followed by the sound of cellphone keyboard noises.

Lynette finished sending photos of old x-ray posters and rusty syringes to a contact named "Raebae♡". She had found out earlier that night that her darling loved creepy old medical things, and had made it her life's goal to find the perfect gift in the nearest abandoned hospital. It was already a hobby of hers to hang around in these kinds of places, so it brought a silly smile to her face knowing that they almost had something in common.

"Oh, she'll love this~" she gushed as she snapped pics of some trash. It was so fun and distracting that she didn't notice one of the tiles jutting out from the floor...

There was a loud crash as she tripped over the rubble. "Ouch..." she winced when she looked down to see that her knee was scrapped and bleeding. Her stockings had ripped too, but that was probably the least of her problems now.

After getting back to her feet again, she dusted herself off and glanced around, suddenly feeling uneasy. The draft coming in from far down the corridor sent a chilly breeze through the fabric of her dress, making her shiver.

Then her cellphone beeped, and she immediately snapped out of her edge to check if it was a text from her darling.

It was just a message flashing "low battery".

Once Noah's limbs complied with him and he could move again, he took a heavy, stiff step toward the room where the scent was coming from. One part of his brain was telling him to keep it together and the other was so loud he could barely hear the good side.

Just from his senses he could tell it was female and it made him all the more nervous. This was the last thing he wanted to do and he kept reminding himself that over and over. Once Noah got closer to the room, he stepped on some broken glass making a loud crunch. It made him flinch heavily but just as his eyes laid sight on his prey the human before him he jumped back. His nails dug deep into the wall outside the door frame, the last thing that kept him from going in.

On reflex Noah's tongue grazed over the sharp, young fangs in his mouth without him knowing but he quickly shut his lips and held his breath.

Lynnette's head twisted around when she heard the disturbance. "Who's there?" she demanded the darkness as a gleam of light signaled that something shiny and metal slipped out of her sleeve.

Brandishing a kitchen knife, she squinted, trying to make out the shape standing in one of the darker corners of the room. Not sure if it was just her imagination or not, she crept towards the figure...

A small drop of blood fell from Noah's own lip. He was holding back so hard he didn't even notice that he was biting himself. It was a mistake though, it was the last straw, the string snapped, it was over.

With inhuman speed, his feet spun around and launched itself off the floor. Before he could grab the woman he saw her beautiful black locks shine in the slivers of light, exciting him even more.

Noah's swift shadow grabbed her by the waist, swooping her away but soon they both toppled to the floor. Quickly, his hands were pinning her upper arms to the blood stained tile floor with shaky pupils and a grin wide enough to show off his teeth. Out of the corner of his sight he seen the moonlight reflect off the knife but paid no attention to it for the time being.

"You...You look so good...~!" A small voice crack came through while he whined in ecstasy. Placing his legs on either side, his mouth then hovered over her neck not covered by long hair to waste no time.

After putting weight down on top of her, both his hand were free. One gently grasped her chin and faced it away, the other brushing hair behind her ears. "Ah, such fair skin.." Finally, Noah sank his fangs into her neck and felt relief. He was a messy eater, his tongue twirling around the wound he drank from. The glow from his eyes was more apparent, reflecting off the dark hair of his meal.

The floor shook when their bodies fell against it. Everything happened in the blink of an eye, so suddenly that she was already pinned down before she even had the chance to realize it was a vampire.

Lynnette held her breath when she felt the newborn's fangs graze her skin, eager to bite, and gasped sharply as they finally sank into her flesh. His tongue traced up her neck, rough like sandpaper, tasting her humanity.

It wasn't her first run-in with his kind. Hell, she did this kind of thing for fun, and it was evident by all the tiny teardrop-shaped markings on her throat, but this wasn't happening in the back of a smoky bar, and it didn't seem like this one wanted to stop drinking...

Reaching out to her side, she found the handle of her knife and gripped it tightly as she brought it up to stab him.

Noah was enjoying himself far too much at that point. He was going to throw himself over the edge any time soon and dry his prey right out. Killing someone wasn't what he wanted to do but she tasted so...damn good. Her blood was evil, loving and downright dark like a hazy night sky covering a full moon.

Almost forgetting about the knife, he grabbed the blade with his hand on panicked reflex before she could stab him anywhere else. The pain from it brought his drugged mind back to reality and he released her neck, hopping off to tend to his own wounds. Noah sat a few feet away now, panting wildly as he tried to catch lost breath. A few drops of his meals own blood remained on his lips but soon he was liking them clean.

"Ahh..." The sigh of relief that held a longing for more turned into a bit of a chuckle.

"You're lucky~...." All that stood out from his silhouette in the dark room was the unsettling glow from his eyes.

Clutching the blade in a shaking hand while the other flew up to her neck, Lynnette felt warm blood...her blood, drip down her fingers. The pain licking her throat was gone, but the wound left on her pride stung worse than any bite.

Her own eyes reflecting worse intentions than the vampire ever had for her, she held up the knife like the killer in a slasher flick and let the blade gleam in a sliver of moonlight.

"How dare you...I was saving myself for my darling..."

Despite what she said, she actually did this often. Every night, it was a new freakshow, but at the end of the fun, she always killed whatever she hung out with, sooner or later. If there was anything to learn from being around Rachel, it was how to tie up loose ends.

"I'll make you..." with anger guiding her aim, she attacked. "...SUFFER!"

"Your darling, huh...?" He sounded condescending as he stood up and shook his hand clean, thick blood splattering the floor. His wound was almost healed but there was no time to waste, she was lunging.

"W-What..?!" Noah's sly demeanour started to crack now that he had found himself blood. The shift in personality was quite jarring to most. Usually after satisfying himself, he would seem almost normal. With a clumsy dodge, he felt the knife slash his upper arm, earning a loud groan from the vampire. Even though it would heal fast, the pain was still there initially.

With a quick jump, Noah created space between them, enough for him to slip words in.

"I didn't mean to do this, I'm sorry!"

A sick thrill was siphoned out of hearing the other's grunts of pain. There was no trace of the clumsy lovestruck girl from earlier in those eyes, just the cold, dark stare of a killer.

The blade made a graceful swish! as it sliced the musty old air, missing Noah by just a few inches. Her voice came out as a short giggle, low and dark, dripping sweet venom.

"You're lying..." she hissed, unswayed by his apology. Hanging around vampires really paid off in the end, because now she knew their strengths...their abilities, it only became clear when she started driving for his arms, his shoulders, anywhere that could feel hurt even the tiniest bit.

Her puny kitchen knife wasn't going to do much damage, but she was going to cause him as much grief as he caused her broken heart.

"Seriously, give me a minute t—" His words fell short after slipping on an old pair of surgical pliers, in fact they look uncomfortably huge for a surgical tool. Noah had to process what happened but had little time seeing as the woman wasn't going to give up. Grinding his teeth, he inched backward on the ground, trying to dodge everything as best he could.

There was still blood falling from her neck and after being interrupted, he was still quite thirsty. The sight made his mouth water on it's own.
"Please..!" Again, his voice cracked in craving, her blood was just too good to be true at that moment.

"....More.."

"Hmm..." Imagination sparking with gruesome ideas, she wrapped her impossibly long fingers around the forceps on the floor and picked it up. "I think I'll use this instead..."

With a different kind of metal graced by her touch, she used her boot to push Noah down and kept him there by stabbing her heel into his chest.

Looming over the vampire, Lynnette, after clamping her thighs around his legs to stop him from getting away, presented the fiendish-looking instrument. Using her free hand, she ran her thumb over his lips gently before prying open his jaw to reveal the pearly white fangs exclusive to his kind. "Pretty..."

There was no trace of a soul in that smile.

"They'll be the perfect gift for my Raebae~"

Fear filled his heart, Noah knew where she was going with this and it wasn't pretty. He was breathing heavy, both thirsty and afraid while taking small glances at the more monster like human hovering over him. Being in a similar situation didn't help this time...she seemed more controlling and Noah couldn't help but be drawn to it in a bad way.

Her touch was soft on his lips despite her intentions being scary, he had to refuse the urge to just bite down. A small whimper escaped him with a wild blush spreading across his face. Noah was getting shy and conflicted at the worst possible time but this woman's touch was probably the most intoxicating thing he had ever felt. Never had he felt something so deceivingly soft.

Tugging away his mouth roughly, he refused to have his fangs ripped out. As much as he hated the curse of being a vampire, it was all he had.
"You're not taking anything for your Raebae..."

Noah grabbed the hand that held the scary looking instrument at the wrist and used the position to his advantage. He pulled her, bringing her neck closer to him, his tounge licking the spilled blood wildly before trying to bite again.

She didn't think the vampire would recover so soon. Lynnette squealed when he yanked her closer; the dominating façade was shattered in one swift move.

His face hidden in her neck, tongue flicking upwards towards her ear, leaving unwanted heat behind, a cocktail of panic and dark surprise swirled throughout her entire body as the fangs she wanted so badly were at her neck again.

She shut her eyes tightly, expecting the bite.

The noise she made ignited a smirk that spread across his lips, his breath stopped for a moment, questioning just what kind of prey she was. His hands moved upwards on her wrist and pulled the forceps out of her hands then grasping that very hand at the fingers.
"That's right~ This doesn't have to be more trouble than it already is.." Noah whispered in her ear, his hot breath running down her neck again.

"You can act tough, but I understand." A hand was absentmindedly on her thigh while he once again sank his fangs into her smooth, blood speckled skin.

There was a clatter as the weapon slipped from her trembling fingers and onto the floor. Lynnette felt a tremor run down her spine as she felt his cold hand clasp hers, and had held her breath when his lips brushed her ear as he whispered. "No..."

His razor teeth sliced through delicate skin without resistance, piercing deep into her throat and cutting the thin blood vessels to pressure them to spill their precious life. She gave to a shaky gasp, her body becoming limp in his arms.

If he got past the bitterness, he could probably taste the endorphins that pumped through her veins, turning her death from something scary and painful to the most pleasurable experience of her life.

Latching onto him with her free hand, she held him closer and tilted her head, allowing him more of her neck.

The lack of resistance made it all the better, it had been too long since it was this enjoyable. Noah lowered his arm with hers and leaned into her more, taking the power back. The way it should have been from the start.

Once he was done his mouth lifted slightly, giving one last drag of his tongue over her collar bone to her jaw line.
"Tasty~."
Noah let go of her, letting her body fend for itself of the ground while he stood up. Red eyes glanced down at the mess he made, both guilty and proud at the same time. She looked good there, almost too good.

The vampire began walking away, he hated to be a tease but after being satisfied, there wasn't much he could do. A low chuckle echoed with the exiting footsteps.
