Blind Hearted

Quietly, he listened to the beginning of the movie as Belle sang about the village in the morning. This was his favourite song in the entire movie, so he couldn't help but sing "BONJOUR~" in his flawless, French accent. Patrick has listened to this movie many times, and had time to perfect his imitations of voices.

He chuckled at himself, clearly enjoying the movie already. It had been a while since he last watched this, especially with somebody else! The Disney movies he had were mainly the ones with good narrations or lots of songs. He even sang using his poor imitation of Belle, "There goes the baker with his--" That was too much, though. Patrick coughed, his smile turning sheepish and apologetic.

Hopefully, he made her laugh.

"--tray like always, the same old bread and rolls to sell~" She sang, picking up where he lieft off before going into a fit of giggles. She loved the opening as well and was glad she was no longer the only one to sing along.

She looked back to the movie and continued to sing Belle's part, hopeing to coax him into taking up any of the male voices again. She hoped he wouldn't think her to be weird because she did this, it was more tradition for her than anything else.

It excited him that she would sing along to these songs with her. He supplied vocals for the male parts, his arm never leaving her shoulders as they sang together.

"Just wait 'till Gaston sings!" he laughed, obviously having more tricks up his sleeve. That was his other favourite song for the movie. Even though Gaston antagonized everyday, Patrick still liked the character. Judging by the way everyone sang about him, he was also a dashing, talented man that every woman dreamed of.

"Your voice is pretty," he complimented her, smiling sweetly.

She smiled and continued to sing Belle's part, glad that he started to sing along with her. She laughed when he mentioned Gaston and couldn't wait for that scene to play out. A blush came to her cheeks when he complimented her voice, she didn't really think it was all that great.

"Thanks...You have a lovely voice as well, Patrick" She said, smiling at him in return.

Watching this movie with Rebecca was as nice as the daytime activities they spent together. Some of the scenes, he spent more time thinking about her instead of the movie. She was sitting close to him, laughing and singing to her heart's content. The burning desire to kiss her was becoming harder to resist, and his shyness seemed to get banished.

Carefully, he tilted his head down, his lips pressing into her neck. That wasn't her face, but it was still pleasant. Hopefully she didn't mind... Being romantic didn't come to easily for a blind man.

She was warm and soft... As he kissed her there, his hand found a side of her face to turn it towards his, his lips trailing over to find hers. Once they connected, his heart fluttered and his body was filled with a great amount of love.

Rebecca was completely content at this moment in her life, watching her favorite movie with a cute guy, his arm resting on her shoulders as if they were a couple. It just seemed right to her, it didn't matter if they only just met or that he was blind, it just...clicked. When she felt his lips suddenly on her neck she jumped a bit, her face quickly flushing. She didn't push him away though...it felt rather nice when he did it.

She locked her eyes on teh movie, but really didn't watch it, her focus more on the fooel of his hand on her face, turning her head to look at him. Her face grew more flushed as he trailed his lips along her cheek before kissing her. Her eyes slowly closed as they kissed, a small shy hand reaching up and resting on his chest lightly, not pushing him away but clinging to him a bit. Her heart was beating like crazy in her chest, completely high on the feelings of contentness and joy.

Pure relief washed over him when she kissed him back, making absolutely no effort to push him away. Both arms embraced her, his lips continuing to deliver the utmost passion. One of his hands trailed to her head, his fingers tangling with those brown curls he wished he could see. They were so soft, and silky.

Patrick's face nuzzled into her hand when he broke the kiss, his lips pressing to her fingers when he found them. A tingle of delight went through him every time he kissed her. Or any part of her, really.

"I..." An apologetic smile was on his face while he searched for words to say. Nothing came out, though. He mentally swore at himself for acting so sheepish! Nonetheless, he didn't let go of her. He held her, as if she was his.

When he pulled back from their kiss her face was completely red, her heart beating at a rapid pace in her chest. For a moment she just sat there, in his arms, holding him back lightly as she looked over his face. She frowned a bit as he smiled apologeticly, she didn't want him to feel bad about what he did...She liked it a lot actually.

She opened her mouth to say something, anything, but the words were lost on her tongue, leaving her there to just try and figure out a way to say it was alright...She took in a shaky breath before leaning in once again and kissing him on the lips. She felt content in his arms, it felt right. So what if they only met the day before? So what if her mother would throw a fit is she ever found out? She just didn't care anymore, she just wanted to stay where she was.

From the sound of things, she wanted to say something too, but was failing to get any words out. All he heard were short breaths, and noises of hesitation. They didn't sound upset or anything, though.

What confirmed she was not even close to being upset was when she rejoined their lips. Patrick instantly closed his around hers, relishing the wonderful feeling of how soft and warm they were. He didn't want their faces to part, so he held it, leaving it up to her when she wanted to stop. Rebecca was held closely to his chest, which beat loudly from his racing heart.

Holding her this closely gave him a great idea of how she looked. Rebecca felt curvy, light and healthy. Her form seemed so fragile compared to his own, it made him want to protect her from all evils. People underestimated him for being blind, but if he tried, he could land a painful punch to some part of an antagonist's body. Of course, he always hoped for a facial target. That was the most satisfying.

Being as close as she was to him made her realize that he wasn't as weak as she would have guessed. She could feel his muscles pressing against her as she continued to hold onto him tightly. She wrapped her arms around his neck slowly, pushing against him a little more as she kissed him. It was as if something inside her broke and let loose a completely different person. She just wanted to keep kissing him again and again, only stoping to breath.

She pulled back a second before latching onto him again, their lips meeting in an eager kiss. After a bit, and a couple more long kisses she pulled back from his face slowly, her's now comlpetely beat red from what she had just done.

"Um...Well...Uhh..." She stumbled out, trying to figure out something to say to him.

Patrick resisted the urge to lick at his lips so he could taste the flavour of her mouth from them. He felt he should be more proper, instead of coming off as a creepy pervert. After all, he wanted her to like him.

A soft chuckle escaped him as he listened to her clumsy words. Clearly, she was having the same trouble as he was with saying something. That lightened him a little bit... That was better than hearing her dissatisfaction. It was also cute, in a way. Instead of 'Oh, kiss me again!', she shyly searched for her voice while holding onto him.

"You're so soft," he commented, trailing a hand up her arm so it could find its way to her face. His hand was large, so he hoped he wouldn't accidentally poke her in the eye or something. It did find her cheek though, the thumb moving up and down it in short strokes.

Rebecca's blush grew even more as he complimented her, making her even more shy and embarrassed. She got goosebumps all over her body as he ran his hand up her arm and stroked her cheek gently. She tilted her head into his hand slightly, liking the feeling very much. She didn't talk for a long while, just letting him stroke her cheek. She licked her lips absentmindedly, tasting him still on her, before speaking.

"You're...You're a really good kisser." She said, laughing nervously as a smile spread over her lips.

A look of shock appeared on his face when she complimented his kissing. That was one statement he never thought he'd be able to hear! Patrick had kissed women before in the past, but had never been told he was good at it. In fact, there were a lot of embarrassing moments when he'd kiss them. It was frustrating sometimes, when women left him to lead everything. The old fashioned 'letting the male be in control' didn't always work for someone who couldn't see...

"I... Am?" he asked, letting out a small laugh. "You're too nice."

Slowly, he brought his hand away from her face, letting it drop to her shoulder. "I could say the same for you," he said honestly.

Rebecca's blush deepened as he returned the compliment with on of his own, making her smile a little more. She reached up with one of her hands and rested it upon the one he had placed on his shoulder, stroking it gently as she giggled again. She just sat there for a moment, enjoying the feeling of being so close to him before speaking.

"So...what should we do now?...I think we missed half of the movie while kissing." She said as she laughed a liitle more, the sounds of the movie in the background seemingly close to the ending of the film.

Listening to the movie as it progressed, Patrick noted that it was indeed coming to a close. He made another apologetic smile at her, but knew in his mind they could always turn it on again. Like he told Rebecca before, she was always welcome. He'd even approve of her using his home while he worked, since he trusted she'd be no disturbance.

"We could kiss again," he joked, trying his hardest to look at this situation with brightness. Even though they both enjoyed that moment, he couldn't help but feel like he did something wrong. That was probably so awkward for her... Kissing a man with no sight, whom she recently met. Those bitter thoughts had to be saved for later, though.

"Anything you want to do," he decided, waiting for her response. Hopefully, she had some idea. Patrick was stumped!

"Well...I'd really like to kiss again..." She mumbled softly as her face turned a bright and hot red.

She really did enjoy the kiss, she couldn't really explain why but it just felt wonderful to her. Maybe it was her lack of relationships that had made her desparate for more, or it could be the fact that she had avoided the opposite sex so much that her body had becomed deprived. Whatever the reason may have been, Rebecca wasn't going to let a simple awkward moment stop her from feeling good.

"O-Of course if you don't we could aways eat the dessert we bought...I don't know about you but that cake has been calling me since we saw it." She then said light heartedly, trying to making things less awkward.

"Oh, right!"

Patrick had completely forgotten about those desserts until she brought them up. He was so occupied with her company that everything else was nonexistent. Reluctantly, he moved away from her to grab his white stick and stand up. Although he was a blind man, he was still a gentleman. Therefore, he insisted on getting these confections.

Very carefully, he felt around his apartment until he felt the tile of his kitchen. The sound of the fridge opening ended as quickly as it was made. He set the box of treats onto the counter, then searched his cupboards for plates.

"Come on in," he invited.

Rebecca wandered into the kitchen quietly after Patrick, standing next to the counter as she watched him shuffle around for plates. She was a little sad that they weren't close anymore but the fact that they were about to eat so rather good looking sweets made up for it. She started to look around the kitchen quietly, trying to think of something to say, something to do to get rid of the silence that was now in the air.

"So...are you just going to try a random one or would you like me to help you choose?" Rebecca asked politely as she watched him gather the silverware.

"Surprise me," he answered, setting a fork and a spoon on the counter. He didn't realize he withdrew two different pieces of silverware and didn't even bother to check. In fact, his entire drawer of the utensils was jumbled up! There were some parts of his home he was left to organize himself when he moved here.

The aroma of baked goods filled his nose, making his stomach gurgle. "We can share one too, if you want," he offered, making a bashful smile. That was a romantic thought, so he felt he should voice it.

Rebbeca smiled as she opened the box and pulled out one of the cakes. She was fine with sharing since she still was a little full from dinner, and also she didn't mind the idea of being able to keep close to him while they ate. She slipped what looked to be a chocolate cake onto one of the plates he pulled out.

"I'm fine with sharing. Should we go to the table to eat or she we just eat at the counter?" Rebecca asked as she looked at him smiling.
