Sinai's eyes lit up at the lieutenant. He agreed! it almost took her a second to realize he actually said yes. Squad two was always the super secretive squad so it wasnt like she would be easily able gather info on him. Well actually squad 12 if one wanted to be technical but that was a bit beside the point. theoretically he had the same training that she had, he was probably better considering he was lieutenant. She reached into her pocket and puled out a pad and pencil. With a Smile she thanked him for his cooperation. " Thank you, I am going to be writing about the leadership of the soul society, if I can just get your name, a tiny bit about yourself and if you don't mind How you help squad 2 to best contribute to the protection of the soul society" Sinai didnt want to overwhelm the man with questions but she didnt want to waste time either. She couldnt ask anything about the onmitsukido of course since they are all about secrecy and what not. So she would keep the questions mostly about him and his duties. Hopefully she would get enough information to write an article about him. It would be absolutely amazing if she could catch the captain of squad 2 as well and interview him but being the captain of squad 2 the man was probably a ghost. So this guy in front of her would get her undivided attention. while She awaited his response she moved a strand of hair out of her face with her pencil as she tried to figure out whether or not she had known him in her time at the 2nd division.

Shizuka Kurenai, 4th Div Captain

As the meeting had come to a close so abruptly, the 4th Division Captain Shizuka could only wonder if that was really it. Regardless, it looked to be over now. As the other Captains and Lieutenants took their leave, one question remained on Shizuka's mind as she started to make her way back to her division's area. With one heavy sigh, she could swear she could see gray in her silver-white hair, "Mai.. No sign of her at the meeting.. What could that girl be up to now?" Shaking her head, Shizuka looked off skyward as she fiddled around with questions in her head, "I swear, if that girl is still out in the world of the living.. What will I do with her.." Her tone was light and almost weary with her words, looking as if she was getting a migraine just by thinking about it.

Kairi Veritahl, 11th Div Lieutenant

Having been one of the first few to leave after noticing her Captain rushing off, Kairi was a bit miffed she hadn't been able to introduce herself but supposed it didn't really matter anyways. Now bored out of her mind, Kairi was pissed that she wasn't allowed to head to the world of the living and deal with some hollows instead. At least then she'd be able to get a moment of fun, or so she'd hope. Trying to focus as she stood out in the open, she wanted to try and pinpoint where her Captain was - and where he was headed. Maybe he'd have something fun for her to distract herself with. Though, thinking to herself as she crossed her arms, she absentmindedly accentuated the shape of her chest without much a care as she focused. Eventually picking up where her Captain was, she started running off and jumped atop the high, tile-roofed walls, not much caring for anyone who could be shouting at her.

Hueco Mundo
Kurono Akitachi, 5th Espada

After the annoying escapade between Septima and Tres, Kurono spat on the ground as she was closer to Las Noches, grumbling to herself on her annoyance. It was short lived once she could feel both the Primera and Segunda giving off their presence rather openly. Looking over at Las Noches to where it originally came from, she could tell the Primera was moving. She took it as a small sign to follow, more on her own interests and the fact that it obviously being that much of a greater danger, Kihimi could still prove entertaining for the pink-haired Espada. "Well.. They're bound to get pretty much everyone's attention giving off that much. Poking at Kihimi might be worthwhile, can get rid of this lingering rage I'm feeling thanks to red seven and that @#%#-sucking Tres... Hmph..." And with that, Kurono vanished with a Sonido, heading in the direction of the Primera, wherever she may be heading.

Jayr stood motionless, awaiting for the girl to compose herself and her notepad. His multi-toned green and red eyes gazed down to the small pad of paper in her lithe and fragile hands, as well as the pen now precariously balanced atop her thumb and pointer finger. He noticed her smile almost immediately, feeling that his choice to stop and answer these questions for her was well worth it - at least to see a beautiful girl smile. Jayr was the type to please like that, whether it be his Captain or a member of the Gotei 13, he was sure to always uphold his gentlemanly status and dignity towards other members. She seems to want typical information, there should be no harm in giving this to her, I don't believe captain Saito would have a problem with me answering these. Jayr debated his mental questioning, finding nothing of immediate warning to supplying answers of this nature. He looked to the girl across from him, her hand ready to write everything, or at least paraphrased snippets of what Jayr said. "Alright. My name is Jayr Izushihama, I am the Lieutenant of Division 2, subordinate to Captain Saito. I grew up in the Rukon district, bread to fight and survive." Jayr paused, finding the appropriate words to continue on with, "In short, my addition to the Second Division is simply my loyalty, hard work, respectful ethics, and allegiance to Captain Saito as well as the Head Captain and Soul Society in general." Jayr hesitated once more, finding nothing of importance, or relevance come to mind that he could speak of with this woman. He shuffled his hands slightly, finding himself slightly jittery and woozy. An odd feeling for him, but he decided to shake it off in accordance of public behavior. He watched Sinai write down his words, scribbling messy calligraphy onto the small notepad before him. "Is there anything else you need from me, Lieutenant?". He had spoken with quick accuracy, his mind betraying him at the moment towards the reasoning he was truly apart of the Gotei 13 and why he even deserved his spot. Did he truly deserve to be the second divisions Lieutenant? Or was her simply put there due to his loyalty and willingness to risk his life and limbs for the Society itself? Jayr clenched his fists at his sides, biting down on the inside of his cheek.

Sinai never looked down at her paper as she wrote down her notes, despite not even glancing at the paper the notes were word for word. Rather she kept eye contact. She wasn't quite sure what kind of answer she was expecting from the Lieutenant but it wasnt the one that he gave. The rukon district was far from specific but she found it quite interesting that he was "bred to fight and survive but brought a respectful ethic to his squad. That dynamic was rare, but very admirable she thought to herself as he spoke. There was a second pause as Jayr seemed to see if there was anything else he wanted to say. It seemed as if he had noting else to add since he asked her "Is there anything else you need from me, Lieutenant?". At first Sinai thought nothing of his jittery hands since interviews make most people nervous. She simply nodded, noticing him tense up a bit more "if you don't mind" she prefaced her question giving him the opportunity to back out if he was truly uncomfortable. "you said you were from the rukon district, do you mind clarifying which district? and um... did you spend any time in another squad or were you always in squad 2?"

Breaking eye contact she glanced around her surroundings out of habit. Sinai was well verse in the art of paying attention without paying attention, or staying aware of her surroundings but every now and then she would glance around just to see if perhaps she had missed anything in her surrounding environment. In this case the only real change in the environment was that a majority of the captains and lieutenants had left and the wind had stopped blowing. "oh and if you could offer words of wisdom to those now joining the Shino academy, what would the be?" While the news magazine was a decent hit within the Seireitei it was was most popular at the Shino academy. It gave the Shinigami-to-be insight into the lives of actual shinigami. It allowed them to form opinions about what squads they wanted to join and gave them a heads up on the kind of envrioments they would be working in. To them it was like a peek into the future while to everyone else it was more of an easy read.

"Welp, no point in staying around in this place any longer," Axel said aloud, then got up from his chair. Since the night time slowly approached the living world, he decided that the location would be his current destination, since he had done most of his paperwork before coming to this pointless thing. 'He really just wanted us to introduce ourselves? I could have walked to each division building and done that myself. The fact that no one did that should have gave the commander a hint that perhaps we could live without so much... interaction between each other' the old man thought to himself. Then again, he also was kind of excited since this was his chance to see what one of these captains or lieutenants were made of.

"Well guys, I am about to give the shinigami on earth duty a helping hand, an I wondered if anyone wanted to come as well!? Just one or two of you will do, since so many captains and lieutenants in the world of the living would attract too much attention!" He shouted his question and added statement, not in an aggressive way however. This was to make sure that the shinigami that just left the place would also be able to hear him. "It will be very beneficial to the ones on duty, giving them a break. Perhaps Karakura Town can be our first target, then if we are feeling special we could hit up Canada with our gigai for a reward of Poutine, heh," the captain of the 3rd Division added. He couldn't help himself when it came to that meal, if served by the right food specialist. French Fries with fresh gravy and cheese Curds really made for something delicious in his opinion.

Shinsaku Saitō
Gensō
2nd Division Captain
Soul Society
Shinsaku noticed that the head captain was heading back then soon after noticed everyone else leaving as well but most importantly saw his Lieutenant leaving without a word. ''Hmm'' He silently mumbled to himself wondering what was wrong with him. He noticed not much after that he was stopped by another lieutenant for some sort of friendly chat. ''Wonder who that is?'' He squinted his eyes in question, his eyes darted to the exit as his foot slowly moved forward towards it. The sound of wood on wood connecting against one another creating a clogging noise with every step, Shinsaku's eyes returned back to normal right before he turned the corner. He laid his left hand on top of Jayr his lieutenants head and with a jolly smile and eyes sought after his, ''Hey Jayr'' He said but then pretended to just recently notice another lieutenant in front of him. ''Oh Hey, Whats your name?'' He asked as his eyes darted in the lieutenants direction then closed to display more of a jolly and care free expression. ''I hope my little Kohai didn't bother you too much, haha'' He directed his head downwards towards Jayr then back to the other lieutenant to hear his answer.

Jayr had suspected there would be more, seeing as he was briskly cutting to the chase with the Lieutenant. Normally, he was rather relaxed, albeit being somewhat of a stiff, he was generally a well-mannered and approachable person. Today however, he felt as if all he wanted to do was be alone. Perhaps he was getting sick? No.. that, wasn't really possible in the Seritai, was it? He smiled softly towards Sinai listening to her next couple of questions; periodically shifting his crossed arms so each one would alternate over the other. The area around the two was rather quiet now, aside from the captains and lieutenants who were slow to the chase of clearing out. Jayr huffed, blowing a soft strand of dusty brown hair from his face, that had recently been nearing his line of sight. He could tell Sinai was trying her utmost to be respectful of Jayr's time, time he really didn't need for anything currently, but none the less, he appreciated her caution.
"you said you were from the Rukon district, do you mind clarifying which district? and um... did you spend any time in another squad or were you always in squad 2?"
Jayr thought back to his time in the Rukongai, the brawling, stealing, constant life-threatening 'operations' he and his friends would partake in, just to scrape by for that week. It was a rough upbringing into the soul society, no doubt Jayr didn't often speak of his time in the Rukongai. He shifted his arms once more, focusing intently with widened, unblinking eyes on the pad of paper Sinai was holding; his intense stare most likely un-nerving the female slightly, but he was in a sense of continuous daze, something akin to "stare-mode" as he called it. "West Rukongai, Distract 80.."he spoke softly, yet without a single ounce of regret. "It was a rather... entertaining life..."
Jayr grit his teeth, shaking his head from the incessant staring before a small grin found it's way onto his lips with Sinai's following question. "Shino academy? Well, for those out there looking to achieve anything in life, academy teachings or not, work hard, play hard. If you slack, you don't deserve to be where you'd like to be, if you work hard, the day you achieve your goal - will be evermore rewarding." He let his hands drop to his sides before he shoved them into the makeshift pockets he had sewn into his robes. "Be prepared for fast paced instruction and no time for failures. Though you will be instructed in the art of many things, it is up to you whether you adapt and excel with those teachings, or drop dead like some of the mediocre individuals that pass as Shinigami these days." Jayr paused, testing his final words a little to late before an apologetic glance washed over his face, sometimes his feelings for his upbringing expanded past his inner-self and projected into the world beyond him. "My apologies, Lady Sinai.." Before Jayr could offer an explanation, a familiar presence came up from behind him, smacking a hand down onto his head and giving it an overzealous kneading. Jayr stood there, rather irritated with his captains actions. His hands had fallen from his pocket and were now balled into defensive fists at his sides. ''I hope my little Kohai didn't bother you too much, haha'' Jayr sighed, his body slumping over in defeat. "Captain Saito, please don't call me that.." He whined. This was probably one of the more embarrassing moments in his life.

Sinai was shocked and her eyes showed it. But it wasn’t a look of disbelief, nor was it one of anything negative. Infact it was a bit of admiration. Regardless of which direction you were from 80 was the worst. But he had not only survived he made it to one of the most respectable positions in the whole soul society. From a lawless land to actually being the law of the land. Her start struck haze did not make her over look the fact that he conveniently skipped the question about whether or not he spent any time in another squad but it was forgivable. What he shared would hold much more weight than his service history. This spoke to his character, his resolve and his dedication. She had to snap herself back into the moment before he thought she was judging him or something. She also had to catch what he had to say to the Shino academy.

"Shino academy?" His words helped her focus back to the matter at hand " Well, for those out there looking to achieve anything in life, academy teachings or not, work hard, play hard. If you slack, you don't deserve to be where you'd like to be, if you work hard, the day you achieve your goal - will be evermore rewarding." Though you will be instructed in the art of many things, it is up to you whether you adapt and excel with those teachings, or drop dead like some of the mediocre individuals that pass as Shinigami these days." His background gave so much more weight to his words of advice, as well as his previous emphasis on hoard work. When he apologized to her she was caught a bit off guard. “no need to apologize, I’ll just leave that last part out” she assured him. “have…” she started to ask a final question but was cut off by Captain Saito. The captain greeted his lieutenant and only then seemed to notice Sinai but Sinai didn’t buy it. ''Oh Hey, Whats your name?'' Captain Saito asked her as his eyes darted in her direction then closed to display more of a jolly and care free expression. ''I hope my little Kohai didn't bother you too much, haha''

“not at all sir, he has been very helpful in fact. I am Sinai, lieutenant of squad nine” she gave a quick nod of respect to the captain as a matter of fact Sir, might I also ask you a few questions for the News magazine?” Sinai figured she mine as well ask while she had his attention. This way she could offer an entire article dedicate to squad two and their advice to the rising shinigami.

Getsuga was satisfied with himself he left his squad in a good mood. He walked down several barracks and reached captain of squad two plus two lieutenants he did not know. "Nice to finally meet the esteemed captain of the stealth division" He looked to the two lieutenants "nice to meet you two as well" he said with a smile from under the wrappings of his. He had his hair tied back unlike the meeting. His eyes calm he turned to make his leave. "Once again, nice to meet you all" He replied with a turn of his face.

XENETHIS STRAUNNEM
SÉPTIMA (ESPADA - 7TH)
HUECO MUNDO

He had a simple yet bored expression on his face. Half his hollow mask was covering the right side of his face. His Zanpakutō strapped to his right hip. Standing in the desolate sands, he was looking at the dull but grey sky. The moon always attracted his attention for some reason. The odd shape. It was a mystery in his mind. His hands were pocketed in his white unbuttoned jacket. A wave of a familiar spiritual energy washed over him and the vast desert. "Guerra." He whispered his name, looking in the direction it came from.

He knew exactly what that wave of spiritual energy meant. Guerra was calling him and probably the others to gather up. While he was still gazing in that very same direction with his golden eyes ever so slightly squinted, he moved his right hand over his broken mask, or the state it was in since he became a supreme being. The remnants of the mask started to crack, before it eventually started to dissolve, becoming one with the spiritual energy. If anything, Xenethis was the only Espada who could remove his entire mask without any side effect. His crimson hair fluttered as the breeze caressed his crimson hair.

"I'm sorry but another time.." He whispered to himself, but referring to the spiritual energy and the message it held. 'I've got better things to do.' He did not care in the slightest about the gathering. His attention shifted, moving his face back, looking forward. His feet sunken into the deep sand as he took a few steps forward. Xenethis used Sonido thereafter to appear a few clicks above, suspended in the air. His head tilted towards the surface, looking at the dead corpses of the Hollows who he was once a part of. It was not their lucky day to pick a fight with the Séptima. He had already forgotten that there were some Hollows who decided to annoy him on one of his bad days.

It immediately reminded him about Kurono. "Tch..." Lifting his hand up, there were better things to do. Things he wanted to nurture. Things he wanted to grow into something quite special in the near future. He used his index finger to touch the empty air, as if he was pushing an invisible button. The air before him cracked horizontally, before the Garganta appeared. A doorway to the World of the Living. Stepping into the deep abyss, a wide grin was plastered on his face. His presence, his entire spiritual energy was now gone. Not in Hueco Mundo anymore. Just some dead Hollows sinking into the desert.

KARAKURA TOWN

The Garganta opened up, and the first thing he saw was the bright light and the blue skies. The World of the Living had so many interesting things. They were so interesting that he just wanted to rip them apart. His grin did not waver, but instead turning to an evilish smile. Taking a few steps forward in the Garganta, he had a clear view of the buildings, the people on the surface, the cars. The place was just so lively, so clean. 'I'd paint this place with the blood of the Shinigami.' Oh, the thoughts that ran through his mind. Glancing around before he finally stepped out, he knew that an anomaly as the Garganta would definetely attract some attention. Especially from the Shinigami, but he couldn't have that, nor did he really want to reveal his presence so easily. The Shinigami that were around in the World of the Living had to taste what true despair really is.

Standing on the reishi platforms he created, he was suspended in the air. His hands were pocketed, and his golden eyes squinted and filled with nothing but bloodlust and contempt for the Shinigami. It was going to be one helluva thrilling ride. What was to come ahead, that is. Taking a few steps forward as more reshi platforms were created, he used Pesquisa to find who is was looking for. It was quite easy for him to detect various of spiritual energies throughout Karakura Town. Shinigami, Hollows with nothing better to do than to hunt and eat or torment the humans. "Found you..." He smiled quite satisfied with the result.

"Esconder.." He whispered, concealing his entire presence completely. It was another ability Xenethis possessed, and no one could actually detect him. His entire mask was gone as well. It was perfect. He wanted the Shinigami to know what he was, who he was, especially during their last but dying moments. Using Sonido, Xenethis disappeared. He used it a few times before he appeared by the rooftop of a tall building. On the far side of Karakura Town. He was correct to follow the trail his Pesquisa had detected. There were two Shinigami on there. He crouched in a lazy like manner while suspended in the air, above them. 'Shall we get started?' He jokingly thought to himself, before he elegantly landed on that very same rooftop.

Both of the Shinigami were standing with their backs turned against him, seemingly conversing with one another. He wanted to make a spectacle out of the Shinigami, and stood only a few meters behind. Pointing his index finger at the one on the right, who was seemingly laughing and having a good time with his fellow Shinigami, spiritual energy condensed right before his finger, before it turned to bright red, making a screeching but charging sound like any other cero. Esconder was now gone as the burst of his spiritual energy washed over them extremely fast, freezing them in the place.

Then there it was, the energy was released at close range. Creating a devastating hole through the Shinigami on the right. The cero went right through and quite far, passing numerous of buildings, creating a red trail in the sky. The life of the Shinigami was ripped away instantenously. Xenethis' grinned, satisfied with the outcome. "Now you're just like any other Hollow.. Shinigami..." He finished, saying the last word in a very condescending way. The Shinigami on the left was in a state of shock, turning his head towards none other than Xenethis.

The Espada's golden eyes lazily shifted over to the one who was left. The cero he unleashed that killed one of the Shinigami definetely attracted the attention of other Shinigami in the same area, or close by. The Shinigami that was still alive had an expression filled with hate. The Shinigami was furious as he unsheated his blade and screamed out in a warcry, running towards Xenethis in a fit of rage. A killing intent, he wanted to rip that Espada apart.

Xenethis' crimson hair fluttered ever so greatly with the gust of the wind, so did his white jacket, and thus the Shinigami was about to see the true despair his friend was never able to. "You're perfect...."

Guerra twitched as he felt his summons ignored by the 7th leaving to the human world, one thing that made Guerra...aggravated was when the another espada put the others in danger by possibly provoking the soul reapers into invading this place. His hate and rage started to leak back into his power as it started to leak out more now but instead of a neutral feeling, he drew the power inwards stilling the, he opened a Garganta and stepped through...this must be dealt with.

Guerra stood in the air and closed his eye's and focused in on the 7th's power, he zeroed in on him and in a burst of static was on his way. He found him facing several Shinigami with one about to meet an untimely fate so he pulsed his power once freezing the Shinigami in his tracks and gaining the 7th's attention. Guerra floated down until he stood next to Xenethis before turning to his fellow Espada and speaking. "Is it a fight you seek or a war with their kind 7th? For if it was a fight I would of gladly spared with you but instead you come here and attack them for what? To sate your own blood lust? Boredom? Whatever the reason know that you have given them an excuse to come and attack us in our own territory and as a matter of fact you most likely got the attention of the Quincy as well." He looked down at the 7th from his height and waited for a response.
