Zanpakuto sealed Abilities:
Bakuhatsu no ōji, when in sealed form, has no abilities, and can only deal as much damage as the user puts his power into it.

Zanpakuto Shikai Abilities:
"Level the skies, Bakuhatsu no ōji!"
Once this phrase is said, and if Axel has his hand on the hilt of his zanpakuto, his reiatsu levels will rise. It will grow and spiral around him like a tornado, but after just a few seconds a large explosion of intense flames with a 5 meter radius will occur with him in the center, created by his own spiritual power. Anybody with a power-level equal to a non-seated shinigami or lower will most likely receive fatal injuries, as the heat will be too intense for their reiatsu to defend against it, thus burning off their skin and possibly incinerating their bones as well. If it doesn't do this, then they will at least be heavily injured and in need of medical attention. Once the smoke generated from the explosion clears, Axel will be in the middle of the explosion, not harmed from it at all, with a great sword in his hand, which is his zanpakuto in shikai form.

Explosive Touch
Axel's Zanpakuto isn't just a regular great sword in this form. His reiatsu, which is the color red, surrounds it, flowing wildly. Anything that touches any part of the blade will cause and outward explosion in that location, the size of the explosion and power of it depending on the pressure that was applied to it by whatever touched the blade as well as the size of it. For instance, if someone threw a pebble at the sword, it would cause a very small outer explosion the size of the pebble since it probably couldn't get any smaller, and at the lowest explosive power possible, destroying the pebble. If an average human came at him with everything they had, hitting him with an aluminum baseball bat, the outer explosion would most likely be half the size of the human, being able to burn off the flesh of wherever the area of the sword that the bat hit was facing, possibly killing the human. If a shinigami used most of their reiatsu into one sword strike, the explosion would most likely prove fatal, however Axel has to watch out for this, since if someone much stronger than him in strength and reiatsu put their all into a strike, it would cause his strongest explosion to take effect, thus possibly causing his spiritual powers to drain significantly, putting him at a bad position, and the attack would possibly be enough to break his zanpakuto and slash through him as well, and on top of that if the enemy has a higher reiatsu defense, the explosion wouldn't even kill them, but just cause major injuries. This is why he has mastered the ability to increase and decrease the size of the explosion right before it happens if he needs to. The mastery in increase was to deal with someone of power just below him quickly if he didn't have the time to keep the fight going. Note that the force of explosion is also determined for when Axel decides to attack with the sword. The more force he puts into his attack, the bigger the explosion.

Axel can focus his spiritual power on the tip of the great sword, which will quickly cause an orb to form in that location, floating above the great sword. The size of the orb always stays the same, being 1 foot in diameter. With a great and fast swing of the sword towards the target, the orb will be thrown at speeds rivaling that of an average captain's, exploding on contact with something heavier than 10 pounds. Or while it is shooting in the direction it was hurled, Axel can cause it to explode at will. The radius of the explosion can be from 1 meter to even 30 meters. The power of the explosion is determined by the color of the orb before it explodes. If it is the lightest red can get, then the explosion probably wouldn't even be able to kill an average human with it, but just cause mild injuries. Going up to the regular color red, it will be the power of Axel's initial explosion-release which was followed by his shikai transformation, meaning that it would prove fatal for most people who are at the level of a non-seated shinigami, as well as cause mild injuries to those higher. A mildly dark red would be able to cause major injuries to a person of lieutenant level, and something close to that if used on a captain-level person with a weak reiatsu defense. Then going further along, at the darkest of reds, the explosion would be able to prove fatal for anyone below captain level, and leave major injuries towards those at captain level and slightly above. If Axel were to release anything higher than average explosions, he would begin to pant heavily and lose some speed, as well as drain his spiritual power reserves a ton. The larger the explosive radius will also do this, so attempting to launch an orb with the highest explosive power, and having the explosive radius be 30 meters would possibly cause him to faint and require at least an hour of sleep. He could fight this, but further exertion when he is supposed to be getting rest could possibly result in his death.

Reign of Explosives
Axel puts whichever hand is hold his great sword straight up into the air, with the sword pointing in that direction as well. An orb is created at the tip, just like with his previous ability. The size is 1 foot in diameter just like the previous ability as well. When Axel fires it off at will into the sky however, once it is about 40 meters above, it expands to the point of being 10 meters in diameter. After a few seconds, dozens of orbs 1 foot in diameter will be shot from the larger orb, going in all directions. All of the explosions are average explosions, the same as Axel's initial explosion release that was follow by his shikai transformation, as well as being 2 meters in radius. Explosions will occur almost everywhere within an 80 meter radius. By the time it is done, everyone within that radius would have at least had to defend themselves against two of these explosions, even more if they moved around a lot during this time. Lasts 20 seconds in real time. Also, Axel will nearly be out of enough spiritual power to keep up his shikai if he uses this, so he can't use it more than once each time he transforms.

Zanpakuto Bankai Abilities:
If he has either of his hands on the hilt of the zanpakuto, and by will allows his bankai to activate, Axel's reiatsu levels will rise. It will grow and spiral around him like a tornado, but after just a few seconds a large explosion of intense flames with a 10 meter radius will occur with him in the center, created by his own spiritual power. Anybody with a power-level equal to a lieutenant(with a spiritual pressure lower than average) or lower will most likely receive fatal injuries, as the heat will be too intense for their reiatsu to defend against it, thus burning off their skin and possibly incinerating their bones as well. If it doesn't do this, then they will at least be heavily injured and in need of medical attention. Yes, he is wearing the bankai since it is a suit of armor, and though it looks like an old model that was used in medieval times, the power emanating from it is very deadly.

Explosions will occur almost everywhere within an 120 meter radius. By the time it is done, everyone within that radius would have at least had to defend themselves against two of these explosions, even more if they moved around a lot during this time. Lasts 20 seconds in real time. Also, Axel's zanpakuto will revert back to it's sealed state, and when his zanpakuto is forcibly reverted back, he won't be able to use it again for several hours.


Kido and Other Skills
Kido Spells:
Hado: Gaki Rekko(Raging Light Fang):
Axel creates a circle of energy before firing off multiple arrows of green light from it's center in a cage-like formation. Each arrow moves at intense speeds, able to pierce enemies, which can prove fatal if many of these arrows pierce the target. Usually Axel likes to form the circle is formed at the tip of the user's zanpakuto.

Bakudo: Rokkuon(Lock-on):
by focusing on the target and only the target, Axel is able to leaves a large trace of his reiatsu on him/her, commanding every kido-based attack he launches to attach itself to the enemy. It isn't easy however, as Axel first needs to look at the target, and then release his reiatsu in their direction, and they initially must be no longer than 15 meters away. The lock-on takes 5 seconds, so if the target gets more than 15 meters away from Axel, he loses it. He is allowed to chase after them however, but his focus must not leave the person he is using the kido on, which means that having to dodge any obstacle or focus on someone else would stop it. He can also talk while locking on, but if it isn't towards the person he is locking onto, then it will be much harder. Once the 5 seconds are up, Axel still has to maintain focus on the person, except now he can use his other abilities, which will most likely be long-range projectiles in order to get his enemy. The range also extends to 50 meters. Loss of concentration means loss of the lock-on, like when preparing it.

Other Skills:
Very High Spiritual Power:
Seeing as his zanpakuto relies mainly on the constant use of his spiritual power, Axel has made it a very crucial job to train it every day so that it may grow and allow his zanpakuto to be much more useful than it is already. That being said, he can definitely go toe to toe in a spiritual power battle with most captain-level enemies. He won't say he has one of the strongest reserves of it in the gotei 13, but he thinks he is pretty close to that level.

Very High Spiritual Pressure:
Just like his spiritual power, Axel's spiritual pressure has been trained to the point of mastery, and because of this he has to suppress it like most captains to make sure that those around him don't get the wind knocked out of them. With this comes the power to even stun those around him if they aren't as strong as an average seated shinigami is in willpower. Axel's spiritual pressure color is red.

Kido Master
Even though he didn't seriously start to master it until he got the most common fighting style used by captains mastered, Kido is Axel's current first focus, always training it first during his daily training session. Throughout his lifetime Axel has seen Kido being used in almost every situation, something that the other fighting styles fail to do. He takes a liking to it because of this, and for years and years it hasn't failed him yet. His spiritual power is high enough for him to be able to cast multiple Kido spells in succession with each other without getting too tired out, but he makes sure to never over-use his Kido since the reserves of spiritual power it draws from is the same as his zanpakuto, which he will need in order to fight enemies that match him in power, or those who are stronger than him. The most useful thing that came from his mastery is the fact that he doesn't even need to call out the name of his kido spells or incantations to launch them at an enemy. It would make them powerful, but some of them are already potentially fatal without the added boosts. Axel's skill in Kido is above an average captain-level enemy who has kept his kido up to par with the captain rank.

Zanjutsu Master
As it is very common that shinigami aiming for captain at least master Zanjutsu, which is the fighting style used with a person's zanpakuto, if it is a blade, naturally it was in Axel's mind for it to be the very first skill he truly mastered. Even though he uses his kido a lot more, his close-combat capabilities with his sword is invaluable, as it is his go-to skill when attacking enemies who are too weak for him to even bother using kido. He even uses it against opponents that match him when range doesn't work. Especially in conjunction with his shikai, which completely gives him the upper-hand in close combat. His Zanjutsu skills are of average captain level.

Hohō Master:
Even though it is his third focus, Axel still hasn't forgotten about the advantages of Hohō, the art of footwork. It has saved him many times, and each time it has he goes straight to training to to ensure that he doesn't get rusty. Because he doesn't hold it to a very, very high importance like his top two focuses however, he isn't one of the fastest captains around. Still, he has mastered it enough to use a few average flash steps in succession with each other, something that is very useful. If you had to give it a rank, Axel's skill in Hohō would be of average captain level.

Hakuda Expert:
Out of the four main fighting styles, Axel uses Hakuda the least. Even though his bankai leaves him without a zanpakuto for close combat, he doesn't like to rely on it much, since having a blade or a destructive force always seems like the safest choices. That doesn't mean he sucks at it however, being able to combat the strongest lieutenant-level enemies, though against a captain-level enemy who has kept his Hakuda experience up to par with the captain rank, he wouldn't be able to keep up much.

High Offense:
Axel is able to deal some pretty impressive blows since he can add in his spiritual pressure to his punches, kicks and sword strikes. If your spiritual pressure isn't at captain level, then your defense probably doesn't have a chance against Axel's attacks. Of course with a mastery in Zanjutsu, one could use this to it's fullest benefits, but unfortunately Axel is only an expert in the area.

High Defense:
Axel has kept a large athletic build for years and years, and thus his resistance towards damage is big, especially with the addition of his large spiritual pressure. Because of this, he isn't easy to beat down unless your spiritual pressure is a much stronger than his spiritual pressure is a strong defense.


More Character Info
Personality:
No matter how much he has changed his former personality, there is still some cockiness and arrogance left inside Axel's body. Being a captain of the Gotei 13 gives him the right to brag however. Most of the time Axel is calm and laid back, adding in a remark about his power every now and then, unless the person he is talking about seems extremely annoyed. As a captain he is usually asked to be more serious about his work, but when you have been doing the same routine for 50 years, no way can you get someone to sit down and do loads of paperwork as well as positioning his own division constantly. It is because of this that the captain's work of the 3rd division is often divided between the 20 seats, though Axel always has the main amount, since he isn't that lazy. Despite his personality, his division calls him a great leader, always doing the right thing when it counted the most, and even finding time to spend individual time with a lot of them, sometimes in groups since there are so many members.

Being dedicated to shinigami work for almost 200 years would make anyone develop a short attention span, or at least that is what Axel thought, perhaps to give himself an excuse. You will never see him do the same thing longer than 30 minutes at best, besides training, and even then sometimes he would rather walk around or sleep under a tree than make sure his skills don't get rusty.

During Combat, Axel will mainly use his kido, the pride of his skills. This way he wasn't wasting time with using something not destructive enough to face his enemies like Hakuda or Zanjutsu, though sometimes he would use either of those if the enemies he faced were too waist for him to waste any of his spiritual power on them. Usually he would only activate his zanpakto's powers when nothing else works.

Background:
Axel woke up in the middle of the grand canyon, confused about almost everything that happened before then. His past was getting hazy with every minute that he was awake, being able to only remember key details like growing up in a wealthy family, meeting a woman who he would soon marry, having four children and a happy life to follow, and a ton of other things in the middle that gave him great joy in his life. No matter what, the man wasn't able to remember what caused him to be in the middle of such a deep ravine, just near the Colorado river. After a few minutes of looking around, he finally looked towards the ground near the place he woke up and found a body of an old man who seemed to be in his late 50s. Upon lifting up the flattened thing to see the face of the man who met such a fate, the male was scared to death at the fact that it was him. It was then that he realized his there was a chain coming out of his chest.

Axel didn't even want to think anymore about the fact that he saw his own body, laying dead on the floor, as well as the chain attached to his chest that seemed to be causing him mild pains. All he wanted now was to get out of the grand canyon, but he found it hard to find a way to get up it and back to the cliff. After hours of attempting this but failing, Axel ran into a bit of trouble. Three hollows appeared in front of him in the ravine, but him being clueless about what they were, only thought of one thing; run as fast as he could back the way he came. After just a few seconds, he felt hopeless as the hollows were able to cover so much ground, reaching him very quickly even though there was already a distance of a few dozen meters between them when he began to run. When he was close to what seemed like another death, two men in black shihakushos came towards him, flying straight towards the hollow, making quick work of them. Axel was amazed as he stopped to look at what they did, which was save him. After that was over with, one of the shinigami came towards him as the other one flew off, told the dead man that everything was going to be alright, then pressed the bottom of his katana's hilt to Axel's forehead. After that, everything began to fade away.

Axel woke up again, but this time he was standing in a long line inside of a huge building. The man had no idea what this was for, but he played along with it, trying to remember what he still had of his memories while waiting. After about an hour he got to the front desk where the worker gave him a ticket with what seemed to be the time of his death along with a direction and district number, as well as a house address. He finally had to accept that he was dead, but the old man didn't seem that shocked. Another thing he remembered about his time on earth is how he kept reassuring himself that living more than 50 years was enough for him to be happy with.

He was now told to go to the house that he was assigned to live in. If this was heaven, it didn't look or seem like what he expected. After arriving at the run-down house that was in district 65 of West Rukongai, Axel met his family, who weren't too happy to be getting another member. Apparently mixed families was how they did it in these parts, so Axel wouldn't complain, if only he was paired with decent human beings. He had two 'brothers' who were triplets lucky enough to have gotten their numbers at the same time, and looked to be in their late 20s, though there was no telling how old they really were, as Axel heard while he was waiting in line about the whole age thing going on. He also had a tough 'mom' who he looked way older than. All four of them seemed to fit in with the dangerous environment around the district however, fighting which seemed to be a way of deciding territory around here. Even Axel was brought into the mix, as he had to learn how to fight to protect himself from dying again, which seemed like a thing you could do, except no one told him what happened when you died. His brothers were happy enough to teach him basic combat, though they only did it since they didn't want any weak siblings.

After about 6 years, Axel had grown into one battle-lusty grandpa. It took him the first year to accept his fate, spending the rest of his time in district 6 beating down enemies that attempted to mess with his family. He even got new siblings that he watched out for. No matter what his personality was like before his death, now it was filled with cockiness and arrogance. All of this changed however when he figured out that even someone like him could become a soldier apart of the organization that helped save him from those monsters, years ago. At the time of registering for Shin'o Academy, it was only about being able to get some better competition to him. For those 6 years that it took Axel to graduate, it was quite easy for him, as training to kill seemed like a natural talent for the man, as if in his previous life he had some kind of job in that field. It was from there that he was assigned to the 11th Division for his violent tendencies.

Ever since Axel got his zanpakuto, which was when he began learning to become a shinigami, he always felt that the spirit dwelling within it was perfect for him, since it shared his personality. Whenever he trained, he would always go into the meditative state with his zanpakuto in his lap to talk with the spirit, as well as fight so that he would be able to soon achieve his shikai. Meanwhile, he also did his regular shinigami duties, which included fighting against the enemies of Soul Society, which were mainly Hollow. After about 40 years however, Axel saw a lot of things during combat, like everyone in his dispatch team for certain missions wiped out but him due to his impressive powers, his best friend's death, and much more. He began questioning if he really was making the right choice of living by a pure fighting code. Once he finally achieved his shikai, which was 10 years after that, he found out that he had a kido type zanpakuto, which was the final straw for him, especially since 11th Division members could only have melee-type zanpakuto. He did secretly train his kido, so it seemed as if the 11th Division never really was the place for him.

After transferring to the 3rd Division, Axel decided to turn his life around, deciding not to act cocky and arrogant all of the time. That would usually strain the relationship with your zanpakuto if you started to change all of the sudden, but as long as Axel was able to remain the dominant one in their fights still, anything was ok with Bakuhatsu no oji, as he was one of those simple types. For 60 years Axel worked hard in his new squad, making sure he turned over a new leaf before requesting to become the lieutenant of the division, as the previous one died just a few months before he asked. The captain allowed him the seat, and so he was on his way to a happier life. During his time in the 3rd Division, Axel was able to learn his bankai as well, and 30 years after becoming lieutenant when his captain was ready to retire, he took her position. 50 years later, he is now about to attend a big meeting that includes all of the captains and lieutenants. All of these years alive however has made Axel ponder how much longer he could take of being a shinigami. It was good and all, but he was getting a little bored. Almost 200 years and you have seen it all.

    As a captain, the girl wears on her person (apart from the usual shinigami attire) a captain's haori, to distinguish her as such, with the number of the 9th division on its back. Chizuru prefers draping said haori over the average black one in order to conceal it, as she has deemed the later color to be unpleasant in her eyes. In addition to this, her uniform is further personalized so as to be composed of a single very long as well as broad-sleeved kimono, the sleeves of which she compares to wings, worn loosely and tied around the waist by a golden obi with cranes drawn onto it. Something striking about her appearance is that the girl lacks in any hakama, though this is made up for through the usage of very long shoes that reach as high up as her thighs.


    Apart from the aforementioned obi, Chizuru also carries around two other accessories, which she can never be seen without - a scarf (with tassels at both of its ends) in the same color as her obi, which is carelessly left to fall past her shoulders on most occasions, as well as a hand-fan, constantly being put to use regardless of the weather.

    Tenzuru in it's sealed form takes on the outlook of an average, yet overly ornamented katana with a golden hilt as well as sheath, the texture of which reminds one of that of paper. It is viewed as an exceptionally beautiful sword due to exactly these little elegant details, the most mesmerizing of which is the guard since it consist of miniature fans, colored in silver, gold and black, put together in a circle.

    Upon its release, Tenzuru is immediately drawn out so as to allow for the transformation of the sword into two identical golden hand-fans with tassels of a similar hue, that have twin cranes drawn onto each. Both of them originate from respectively the sheath of the zanpakuto and its blade.

    During battle, Chizuru can be seen wielding these objects in each hand, occasionally switching from one to the other, though they don't function the same way two swords would.

    This time around, the duel fans are once again reunited into a single giant one with the same appearance as the originals, apart from the solitary cranes on each small hand-fan now being brought together to form a very traditional-esque painting at the back of the enormous object. In relation to its size, the fan is three times the height of Chizuru in width.

    Thus the girl doesn't hold onto it in battle but rather lets it rest behind her, in the fashion a peacock carries its tail. This at first glance uncommon and uncomfortable position does actually allow for wind-based attacks.

    ||Zanpakuto sealed Abilities||
    Here Tenzuru possesses the standard abilities of an average katana, meaning that it does not stand out with any specific moves or ways of usage. Despite this, it is worth noting the fact that Chizuru rarely, if ever, employs her zanpakuto while in its sealed form since the girl generally dislikes sword fighting. Thus, with its ornate and showy outlook, here Tenzuru serves more as a decoration to the girl's overall appearance than a weapon. She enjoys carrying it at the back, securing the katana with her obi.
    ||Zanpakuto Shikai Abilities||
    Upon its release, Tenzuru gains an appearance that definitely suits Chizuru a lot more. The dual fans now manifested from the unsheathed katana in the captain's hands are mostly employed for fast and brutal offensive wind attacks or defensive techniques that serve mainly for a distraction.


    Special Zanpakuto Ability - Hofuku Kuren - [Vengeful Crane]
    "Tobimasu!"
    - ["Fly!"] - This simple ability is used to either increase Chizuru's speed or to send back an attacking enemy. This is determined by which direction the girl uses her hand-fans in
    "Tsutsukukoto!" - ["Peck!"] - A rather violent skill that employs swift and fast hand movements, which after that result in strong winds going towards an enemy and swinging them around mercilessly while simultaneously landing quick short attacks ("pecks"). Despite its ferocity, this technique usually results only in slight injuries, yet prolonged confusion and dizziness for its victim
    "Sundan!" - ["Cut to Pieces!"] - This is undoubtedly Tenzuru's most violent attack as it consists of sending out fast and consecutive gusts that are sharp enough to cut an enemy. And, if said opponent is close enough to Chizuru, said winds might even result in death or, in the very least, decapitation. This is all done through surprisingly gentle hand gestures that remind one of a dance
    ||Zanpakuto Bankai Abilities||
    Upon the enormous fan being formed by the two previously small ones, something else happens that may amaze some. Chizuru is granted the power of air mimicry, meaning that she now can consciously alter her consistence to be that of air. This renders the girl almost unreachable as blades simply go through her, yet that isn't the case with her fan. And, as it turns out, this object is her weak-point since it is a source of energy. If destroyed it will cause her to lose this ability, thus she guards it very jealously


    Special Zanpakuto Ability - Ten no Ikari - [Heavenly Wrath]
    "Gekirin!" - ["Imperial Wrath!"] - This skill consists of the "tail" (giant fan) behind Chizuru standing upright in the fashion of a peacock's, as a result sending forth a strong wind, the power of which is enough to immediately send flying anyone in front of the girl. In addition, Gekirin is also utilized when an attack needs to be stopped since it is able to cease the movement of a blow midair, resulting in an explosion if it is Kido
    "Shinjinbukai Ikari!" - ["Godly Wrath!"] - This is Chizuru's favourite attack as it gives the girl a sense of empowerment. It literally consist of a very slow motion made by the "tail" (giant fan) at her back, which suddenly results in a most violent wave of high pressure air that literally disrupts the land, causing it to rise, fall, crack, rumble. Of course, it also effect anyone in the vicinity causing them to fall to the ground as though before a god
    "Kami no Ikari!" - ["The Wrath of the Paper!"] - By putting to use this ability, Chizuru adjust her fan and through closing then re-opening it is able to cut through anything it its range. This is mainly effective against a large group of people as well as when the destruction of large buildings and the such is in order



    ||Kido Spells||
    Bakudo #15 Toppu - [Gust] - The most basic skill in her entourage, this allows Chizuru to emit a ball of high-pressure air through her palms that stuns an opponent for a short period of time
    Bakudo #77 Oshitsu no Uchiwa - [Royal Hand-Fan] - Being a defensive kido spell, this certain technique allows for its user to repel their opponent upon close impact. The trick is that it not only stops the assault but also bounces off the attacker with the same force of their initial attack (every action has an equal and opposite reaction). This is all done through a simple hand-motion similar to the one one does while handling a fan
    Bakudo #96 Sasayaku Kaze - [Whispering Wind] - This is a very odd type of bakudo that enables Chizuru to communicate with teammates over a large area through air waves. It is also the only kido spell that the girl still requires a chant for
    Hado #33 Kami Katto - [Papercuts] - This is an offensive technique that literally manifests an unknown (yet definitely large) number of paper clippings that can be locked in on a solitary individual or a group of people. Once that is done, the barely perceivable small bits are sent flying at high speed and usually cause certain damage due to their quantity. Said damage is rarely lethal, yet still sufficient. The fault within this technique lies in the fact that it is a one-time type of spell
    Hado #98 Senba no Tsuru - [One-thousand Paper Cranes] - The technique contains its description within itself as it pretty much consists of the chosen opponent being bombarded by a thousand paper cranes that, however, start chasing after them, delivering sharp cuts mainly in the facial area as the purpose here is to cause confusion or to even blind someone permanently
    Hado #113 Kami no Tsubasa - [The Wings of God] - This is the most gory skill up Chizuru's sleeves as it allows her to render a single opponent immobile (and in a kneeling position) and then attack them mercilessly through delivering slow and deep cuts over their body, especially back
    Kido Barrier Hofuku-fu - [Vengeful Winds] - During this kido spell Chizuru literally locks herself in a wind coffin of sorts, that spins fast enough not to be passed through without substantial damage or even death. The little twist on it is that fact that rarely anyone ever gets close enough to try and enter the chasm, as the winds start chasing after anyone brave enough to come within its reach. The disadvantage of the ability is that Chizuru has no control over the wind while it chases after someone, so said person might as well be her ally
    Kido Barrier Kuren no Keimushu - [Prison of the Crane] - Chizuru uses this ability to imprison herself within the shell of a crane, which is hardened and made close to impenetrable through the usage of the captain's reiatsu
    Kido Seal Ten no Batsu - [Heavenly Punishment] - This skill Chizuru uses to completely immobilize someone as it consists of being bound by gusts of wind that begin spiraling around the person's limbs. If they try to release themselves, then the miniature tornadoes cut into the bound's skin. As to its name, it was granted it due to also engulfing the head of the opponent (seeing as it can be considered an appendage together with the arms and legs), thus hindering their senses and cutting them off from the outside word - a truly harsh punishment
    Kido Seal Origami - [Origami] - This is literally a seal that engulfs a person into an origami of Chizuru's choice. Despite sounding dumb at first, this encasement is not as frail as one might think it to be since it is literally composed of the captain's spiritual force. In addition, this technique is regularly employed by the girl as she likes playing around with the options she has regarding the origami

    ||Other Skills||
    Kido Master - Being the handler of a kido-based zanpakuto, an affinity towards this combat style simply freely runs through Chizuru's veins. As a result, this is her primary way of fighting, which the girl is masterfully skilled at. Thus, she requires no chants for her spells (with the exception of Bakudo #96, a variant of Tenteikura she transfigured in accordance to her own powers)
    Hohou Master - With a preference for defense over offence, Chizuru constantly employs footwork (especially Flash Step) to her style. Through prolonged usage, she has become a master of this as well and moves exceptionally fast, as though blending in with the wind, rendering her almost untouchable
    Hakuda Expert - Due to utilizing long-distance attacks most of the time, the girl never found herself in need of mastering the art of close combat. However, as a captain, Chizuru is still an above-average practitioner in the very least
    Zanjutsu Practitioner - It might sound odd that a leading figure in Gotei 13 severely lacks in swordsmanship, yet this is exactly the case with Chizuru. The girl simply never enjoyed this type of fighting and avoids it like the plague, thus wasting no time to release her Shikai so as to be relieved from the burden of a blade. And yet, when in need, she does employ her katana with moderately decent skill
    Immense Spiritual Power - Naturally, as a captain figure, Chizuru possesses a crushing amount of spiritual power that is quite obviously consciously suppressed. However, upon its release, some might find it odd that a person with her general harmless appearance could possess such a strong reiatsu
    Enhanced Defense- Captain Amai's greatest asset has been deemed to be that of protection, seeing as it is crucial to her Bankai. As a result, her Kido Barriers are thought to be some of the most impressive in Gotei 13



    ||Personality||
    Levelheaded, Soft-spoken, Creative, Mature, Hardworking - Vain, Entitled, Conservative, Picky, Squeamish

    Chizuru is the type of person who gives off the sense of royalty around herself, despite not being of such a background. Yet, this does not stop her from acting like a noblewoman. The girl is indeed very careful in the way she carries herself, and this includes both behavior as well as outlook. Thus, she is a very gracious, level-headed individual, acting purposefully so due to the fact of possessing a captain's position, and, well, the girl thinks it most important to behave calmly when in the spot of a leader. As a result, she does exactly that, which aids her image of a model shinigami. Another thing that makes Chizuru suitable for her position is her maturity and ambitiousness, which result in the fact that, in spite of appearing overly laid-back at first glance, she is one of the most punctual and reliable people in Seiretei that does her job with finesse, as she puts it.

    However, in her craving to be as formal and elegant as possible, the 9th Division captain can certainly come off as self-absorbed, which she truthfully is at times. Constantly being overly concerned about her appearance, words, gestures, facial expressions and every single little insignificant detail, Chizuru is often too caught up in herself. Additionally, the girl is also exceptionally picky when it comes down to everything, including those around her. She feels entitled to everything in her vicinity, as though it belongs to her. The only things free from this objectification are all she deems "disgusting", seeing as captain Amai is easily grossed-out. Thus, she rarely ever engages in anything manual and ""dirty", instead confining herself to do paper work and sort out things surrounding the Seiretei News magazine, for which the 9th division is responsible. In the very least, she is skilled at this, seeing as Chizuru is someone exceptionally artistic when it comes down to most forms of art, especially writing due to her having a way with words. Well, from her perspective all captains should definitely possess the skills of an orator but that's just her opinion.

    And yet, saying that is insufficient due to her being very opinionated and expressing this freely. The fact that she is also painfully traditional and conservative doesn't help lighten the situation. Yes, captain Amai is of an olden view and doesn't do well with change as well as detests most things Western. The only part of the culture of the countries of the West that she is willing to accept is classical music.
    ||Background||
    Her life as a human being is something Chizuru is embarrassed to say she enjoyed fondly, due to the fact that her social status then contradicts with everything she strives to be now. To put it simply, the girl was born of a commoner servant lady owned by a rich family. Amai's father was unknown, though there were, of course, rumors going around the household that she was the illegitimate daughter of the master. This was never truly confirmed, however, despite the girl's craving to find out the truth, to feel a little better about herself as having royal blood running through her veins.


    Yet, a test to confirm this was impossible to be conducted in mid 18th century Japan. Many things were impossible back then, especially if they related to women. Back in the day, they were refused the same educational levels as men, even going as far as forbidding the "weaker sex" in writing in the same alphabet as their counterparts (it was deemed "not lady-like"). Basically, Kanji was off-limits for most females and Chizuru, being on top of all the child of a servant and a soon-to-be servant, had barery any choice with what to do with her life. However, she took full advantage of what little free will she possessed and at a very early age decided on sneaking into the resting chambers of the elite in the house and began teaching herself how to read and write in hopes of coming closer to her alleged father. These were the best years of her life. Her days were filled with chatting away with her other fellow attendants, gossiping, gazing longingly and enviously at the elegant form of the royal mistresses. Her nights were filled with earnest work, from which she never gave herself the time to rest, while trying to understand at least a little regarding the art of calligraphy and femininity. It was truly a good time that Chizuru, now captain Amai, looks back on with nostalgia.

    Her passing was an untimely interruption to this bittersweet lifestyle. The girl simply fell ill little after her 12th birthday. The sickness wasn't terminal or too serious from a modern point of view, yet due to her status in society combined with the lesser knowledge of medicine in 18th century Japan, the young girl was left to die. It was an unpleasant and prolonged decease, one which Chizuru forces herself to forget. By now, the only thing etched in her memory is the wonderful song of the wind-chime and the cool breeze brushing her skin during her final moments as one last breath was exhaled. After it, Amai truly thought she would never see the real word again and then all of a sudden her eyesight had returned and she was looking down at her lifeless body. And even more unexpectedly, after a couple of hours of confusion, this odd person in black clothing appeared before her.

    Thus, fortunately enough, she was instantly send to Soul Society where she all of a sudden found herself to be living in a much more comfortable and high position. Maybe it was exactly due to her new well-off social status that she joined the Shinigami Academy as soon as she could. After all, is there any more heavenly position for a person to have than that of a god of death? After some years in training, during which she showed a talent for Kido, the girl was immediately assigned as an unseated officer in the 9th division. Basically, she has been a part of it throughout all her years as a shinigami and feels a strong connection to this division. Thus, she gladly decided to try out for the then vacant captain's spot. Her initiation wasn't anything flashy or worth noting - Chizuru simply covered all the points needed to be in the lead.
    ||Miscellaneous||
    She has completely mastered the art of calligraphy and employs it regularly as the head of the 9th division - hence editor in chief of the Seiretei News magazine
    Folding origami is simply like a second nature to Chizuru. She is particularly captivated by paper cranes as they represent her in a sense
    Chizuru possesses an immense collection of hand-fans (the biggest one in Seiretei). It is from this said arrangement that she chooses a different fan to carry around every day, seeing as the girl has expressed distraught after having the same object on her person for over a day
    Being painfully traditional, she regularly engages in olden and obsolete rituals. Whenever this happens (which is roughly every day) she always attempts to push her subordinates into doing said activity with her, whether it be a tea ceremony or a celebration like Tanabata

    -Accessory-
    Masaki, as a lieutenant, isn't granted any special garments from Gotei 13 and thus can be seen wearing the average black and white shinigami uniform, though this does not hinder him from stylizing it so as to fit his personal liking. As a result, the man does a very peculiar thing - he doesn't wear the top part of his haori but instead simply drapes it over his shoulders, sometimes even allowing it to fall all the way down to his waist on one side (usually the right as he is right-handed) or both (happens mostly during battle). This way of dressing allows for him to comfortably position his hands at his waist, tugged in the haori, where they can rest right above Masaki's belt - a leather accessory used to secure his uniform.

    In addition to this, he also carries two other peculiar add-on - a medieval-esque armor for his upper body in a similar dark hue to the aforementioned belt, and matching vambraces (the armor on his forearms). All of these heavy accessories have one purpose - making it easier to wield Masaki's Zanpakuto.

    -Zanpakuto sealed appearance-
    Masaki, unlike most shinigami, is the handler of a nodachi rather than a katana. This much longer (the same hight as Masaki) and heavier, yet thin, sword, which he has fortunately enough gotten used to by now, has the color scheme of dark blue as this is the hue of its hilt and sheath. On top of that, it also possesses a very peculiar guard which consists of two wolves, as though chasing round and round in a circle, yet bound to never catch each other

    -Zanpakuto Shikai apperance-
    "私を開放して, 重い義理!"
    "Watashi o kaiho shite, Omoigiri!"
    ["Release me, Heavy Burden!"]


    Upon its initial release, the length of the sword remains the same and it is transformed into an ornate enormous axe that one might compare to that of the Vikings. The details on it depict rabid large animals viciously attacking each other. Of these, there can be spotted foxes, wolves as well as a solitary hunched bear that stands out the most with its looming height. Additionally, around the handle is entwined a snake's tail.

    One interesting aspect of Omoigiri is that during its Shikai the zanpakuto progressively grows smaller the more its user fights, until it gets down to half its original size.

    -Zanpakuto sealed Abilities-
    In its ordinary form, the zanpakuto possesses an enhanced combat force as well as range due to it being a nodachi instead of a katana. However, this also means that it is a highly tricky weapon to wield, thus requiring a skilled handler. Fortunately, Masaki is by now used to Omoigiri and can usually be seen utilizing it while in its sealed form.     -Zanpakuto Shikai Abilities-
    Upon being unleashed, the ornate axe at last shows itself as well as begins revealing its ability with the progression of the fight. For this, he purposefully forces himself to excel in stamina, defense and strategics.

    Special Zanpakuto Ability - Sekinin - [Responsibility]
    Consists of delivering blows to any part of the weapon or body of the opponent, resulting in damage combined with a surge of power that dulls the prior - a pretty dangerous ability. Thus far, it possesses no different specific attacks.


    -Kido Spells-
    Bakudo #11 Kuma no Okina Yoroi - [Great Armour of the Bear] - This is a simply defensive technique through which leiutenant Ara uses his spiritual power to form a quite large outer shell that resembles armor
    Bakudo #70 Kumatousagi - [The Bear and the Hare] - This is a most bizarre technique that allows Masaki to literally transfer the weight of one thing to another, no matter how illogical this may seem at first. As a result, the man can make things respectively heavier or lighter through a chant combined with direct physical contact
    Hado #3 Todoroki - [Roar] - Being a most basic type of offensive spell, this technique consists of Masaki sending out a blast of spiritual energy focused into one point that is able to deliver severe internal damage. It name comes from the fact that it emits a sort of "roar" while heading for the opponent
    Hado #34 Fumitsukemasu - [Stomp] - A skill that in a sense plays with gravitation and weight, since it consist of the user doing a leg motion similar to a stomp, which causes everything and anyone in the vicinity to feel additional mass being pressured onto them. This can cause lethal crushing, immobility and so forth depending on the strength of those affected
    Hado #60 Rioshi no Jigoku - [The Hunter's Hell] - A skill that allows its user to send out an unknown (yet undeniably huge) number of spear-shaped reiatsu rods that mercilessly bury into a chosen target. The power of this skill lies in the fact that even if the victim's clothes are hit, they still end up in the very least pinned down
    -Other Skills-
    Zanjutsu Master - Melee being his main style of combat, it is no wonder that Masaki excels as a swordsman. After all, he is pretty much forced to be perfect with Omoigiri due to the zanpakuto's potentially dangerous powers. The fact that he is an exceptional strategist also aids this
    Hakuda Master - Due to the same reasons as the above-mentioned expertise in sword combat, the man is also extremely skilled at close range battling to the point that he employs it more often than Zanjutsu
    Kido Expert - His skills might be a little rusty due to not regularly employing Kido, yet, as a lieutenant, he is still fairly good at these spiritual spells seeings as they can definitely save him while in a tight situation
    Hohou Practitioner - His weapon combined with some particular articles of clothing are crushingly heavy, which hinders Masaki's ability to move fast. Thus, despite still training his Flash Step, the man has never found it necessary to excell in it and keeps it at a good enough level to be able to move around freely
    Moderate Spiritual Power - As a lieutenant, the man possesses considerable reiatsu, though it in no way compares to that of a captain
    Enhanced Stamina - Mainly due to his Zanpakuto's abilities, Masaki had to train his physic in order to keep up with Omoigiri. As a result, the man possesses immense stamina, which he views as his main asset over all opponents
    Enhanced Defense - Despite not being as polished as his stamina, this aspect of Masaki's skills is also heightened again as a result to Omoigiri


    -Personality-
    Responsible, Reliable, Loyal, Intelligent, Quick-witted - Sarcastic, Emotionless, Blunt, Aloof, Awkward

    Masaki is the type of subordinate, who can be loyal to a fault, always carrying through with his assignment even if it opposes his personal views, for the greater good is of utmost importance. And this allegiance doesn't apply solely to his captain but the whole institution of Gotei 13, which he serves resolutely. Fortunately enough, the man is also good enough to do this job bestowed upon him as he is someone extremely reliable and responsible, able to assess and understand the position he is put in and what duties come forth with it. Again, even if he dislikes said duties in particular, he carries through with them, the only form of resistance to come from lieutenant Ara being conveyed through sarcastic comment since the man employs this type of humor regularly.

    In fact, he does it so often that it has become a sort of annoying signature trade-mark for which he is famous among the other shinigami. Another thing he is recognizable by is his aloofness and stone-cold demeanor when not being cynical. Masaki is simply a purposefully unfriendly individual since he doesn't believe that friendship has any place in his life and in his job as a soul reaper. The only types of relationships he is able to maintain is that between "colleagues" and even those can get awfully awkward seeing as Masaki is close to unable to maintain a casual conversation of any sort. He rarely even speaks up without being prompted but, when he does, it is usually to comment on something with a shameless straight-forwardness that can easily insult his conversation partner,

    Well, in the very least he is honest. And, to be completely truthful, he isn't entirely emotionless but rather restraints himself consciously, which is a hard task indeed. Despite this, and as much as Masaki doesn't wish to confirm this, he still gets attached to other fellow shinigami and develops a protective view of them.
    -Background-
    His father was a merchant - a short, plump, bald man who liked the glass a little too much. Fortunately, this adoration for alcohol never lead to violence but rather to loud singing, erratic dancing and helplessness, making the man appear even more vulnerable than he already was. He was a nice guy overall, yet not the one young Masaki looked up to. True, his father did attempt to introduce his child to the business of trade, yet that never worked out for he was instead fascinated by his mother.

    The woman was an onna-bugeisha - a female samurai. She was the only reason her husband hadn't gotten robbed and butcher in the still night or even in the light of day, for no one dared disrupt the family of this respected woman. Yet, ironically, she was the reason for the rift that appeared in the household since Masaki had forever wished to follow in his parent's footsteps and become a samurai himself. And he was granted this dream and died due to it. Surely, to pass away while on duty was a honorable thing but the then still young Masaki was killed by "friendly fire". Whether this was purposeful or not is still unknown but, hopefully enough, he remembers none of this, not even his good-natured father and adored mother.

    The only thing he has any recollection of is wondering a barren land for what seemed like months until an apparition clad in black suddenly stood before him. Then, as soon as he knew it, Masaki found himself in an entirely different landscape. He was in Soul Society and as soon as he had gotten used to this new domain of his, the boy was off to become a shinigami. It would appear that despite his roots with the real world being severed the soul of a samurai, and all the responsibility that comes with it, forever remained within him.
    -Miscellaneous-
    Something few people are aware of is that Masaki is a Horagai player and carries around the instrument wherever he goes, tugged away in his uniform
    Lieutenant Ara secretly can get very jealous if someone he is attached to pays more attention to other people than him. His reaction to such a thing is acting in an apathetic fashion
    Masaki's theme song is "Oshakashama" by Radwimps

Accessory: As a shinigami, Mai wears a variation of the standard shihausho--hers having a more girly and skirt like appearance to it. Not to mention the clip-on Tiger ears she wears over her head. In gigai form, Mai wears what seems to be a school girl uniform almost which includes a pink skirt, button up shirt, and a black sweater over.

Detection & Analysis: She can anaylze forms of reiatsu ; But of course that doesn't mean she's perfect on the spot. Once she senses another reiatsu, she uses common sense to assume things. The only reiatsus she's perfect at telling definitely would be the reiatsus of those she's been with for a very long time. She will rarely remember first encounters--depending on the situation. But other then that first encounter reiatsus are usually nothing more than a blur.

Personality:
Mai gets drunk off of plain 'living' you can say. Most often she is seen as hyperactive, all smiles, and even mischievous. When in this half-friendly state (Half-friendly, because she can also be taunting and mocking), Mai in most aspects will be fairly childlike. She likes to give nicknames amongst the gotei 13 and will often bother others momentarily before disappearing off when her work is finished. She tends to cause mischief to those around her, and if criticized in anyway or annoyed--Will snap while still maintaining her 'innocent nature' depending on severity.


However, The girl isn't all smiles every minute. When Mai isn't hyperactive or mischeivous--You will find that she will be the biggest brat in the seireitei: Flighty, whiny, and mostly incompetent, pushing work to the side for later until you manage to bribe her someway somehow just to get her to do the most simplest of things in her brat-like state. She is prone to throwing fits of rage at the most tiniest manner and will often instigate the situation more than it needs to be. In battle, she will be more serious though--However will still seem child-like. Such as acting like a superhero, and even foolishly taunting her opponents as well from time to time.

Zanpakuto Shikai Abilities: In its Shikai, Shinsō's blade glows white and extends at high speed to impale Mai's opponents from a distance. The blade also carries tremendous force when extending. In addition, Mai can maintain the extension and swing the activated Shinsō in wide arcs, attacking multiple targets quickly and simultaneously.

Zanpakuto Bankai Abilities: NOT YET ACHIEVED.
"Kamishini no Yari"
Mai's Bankai's abilities are essentially the same as her Shikai's, but its force, cutting power, length and speed are vastly amplified. As Kamishini no Yari, Mai/Shinsō claims that her/his sword can extend itself up to 13 km (8.1 miles) at 500 times the speed of sound: exactly 171,500 meters per second in order to arrive at its full length in under 0.08 seconds, which makes it not the longest Zanpakutō, but the fastest. The blade can also retract to its normal size at the same rate.Because the blade's extension and contraction speed is a highly dangerous ability, Mai/Shinsoō tends to downplay its speed whenever s/he talks about her/his Zanpakutō, and instead focuses on the length and power of the blade in order to gain a psychological advantage over her/his opponent. However, Mai/Shinsō has also stated that her/hishis Bankai is not as fast or as long as he originally claimed, but he hasn't elaborated on this statement further to determine what he is specifically referring to.

Thanks 8D I was rushing the layout before dinner started at that time XD I knew there was something wrong ; kept wanting to edit something but never found that something to edit haha

@Ali thanks c: I worked hard when I first figured out this particular coding myself and from then on began using it often for my CS's and whatnot XD although now I'm better at it ; I still fix broken codings from the layout here and there -at ease now- whenever I add extra or use it ; U ;

Sealed Abilities:
Skilled at Close-Quarters Combat - Although Kurai can fight from afar and very much prefers being at an arm's length to his opponent, he has become very skilled at dodging incoming attack and delivering fast, powerful attacks of his own.
Master Short-Swordsman - Kurai never wields a large blade, preferring ones that are no longer than his own arm. He has mastered striking and blocking with his sword, hitting his enemies with deadly precision and accuracy.
Agility - Having weaker defenses, Kurai has finely tuned agility and quick reflexes, making him a difficult target to get a hit on at any distance. This combined with his speed makes him capable of also dodging wide ranged attacks as well as any possible unexpected ones.
Observation - Patience is key when it comes to Kurai's attacks, he usually won't immediately engage an opponent without gaining knowledge on how powerful they are and any possible weaknesses that his target may have. He can gather information on his opponent while fighting, carefully analyzing ways to kill them quickly and efficiently. He isn't one to fight with pride and has no problem with taking down someone who is off guard or wounded; in fact, he is known to target one especially when they are weakest, no matter what is making them weak at the moment. This is his way of taking out enemies who are stronger than him with ease, it is also how he can tell if he is out matched and stands no chance against someone.
Descorrer - Like other Espada, Kurai can use Descorrer to travel between the Human World and Hueco Mundo.
Sonído Master - Although not having as much power as most of the other Espada, Kurai makes up part of it with his speed, being able to attack, dodge, and escape at extreme speeds.
High-Speed Regeneration - His other asset in fights is high speed regeneration, especially since he fights mostly in close quarters and is not quite as fast as he could be. While focusing, his regeneration is very energy consuming, but is nearly instantaneous.
Hierro - Kurai's Hierro is not that powerful, his power mostly put into his speed and regeneration, but he can block weaker attacks easily.
Pesquisa - Kurai can sense positions of Reiatsu sources with extreme accuracy and track them for unusually long distances, however, he has a difficult time clearly sensing how strong someone is, having accuracy for that would require more time and greater concentration.
Cero - He is able to fire off a regular cero, he does not do this often, preferring his own version of the technique, but in the event that he does, it has a black appearance with a slight transparency to it.
Gran Rey Cero - Has the same color as his regular cero and is used only if he knows he is in over his head and he isn't able to escape.
Cero Oculto (Hidden Cero) - An ability that Kurai had dubbed his own and claims that he based it off cero, this version forms a more destructive version of cero, but it is unable to be fired in a typical blast, the user must hit their target with it via palm strike, causing a small, concentrated blast focused on one specific target. Cero Oculto often drains a massive amount of the target's energy while transferring the energy from the blast into the spot that was hit, causing the blast to release inside of his opponent, this won't always work on higher level opponents, but it is a quick way to get weaker ones out of his way. It appears as thick, black, smoke-like energy, surrounding the hand he uses for it, usually his right hand.
Sombra Formulario (Shadow Form) - Another one of Kurai's own abilities, this ability allows him to "become one with the shadows", not able to harm or be harmed, he becomes an observer, simply studying events and people without the risk of being hurt or killed in the process. He can be seen however, it is rather difficult due to the thick, black, smoke-like energy that closely surrounds his body while he uses it, similar to the energy of his Cero Octulto.


Resurrection Abilities:
Tinieblas Mundo (Dark World) - Upon entering his Resurrection form, the area around him is surrounded with dense smoke, obstructing the view of his opponent, making it nearly impossible to see him or escape.
Infestación Negra (Black Infestation) - An effect of the smoke used in Tinieblas Mundo, this causes any smoke around his opponent to slowly drain their energy, boosting Kurai's energy in the process. Inhaling the smoke will result in a greater loss of energy. The drain of energy from the smoke surrounding someone can be avoided by quick movements.
Endurecido Sombra (Hardened Shadow) - The smoke around Kurai covers his body, forming something akin to extremely durable armor coating his entire body for as long as he is in his cloud of smoke. The armor takes a couple seconds to reform after a powerful hit leaving him briefly vulnerable.
Lagrimeo Oscuridad (Tearing Darkness) - Smoke forms in a circle around his opponent, the smoke then lashes towards the target all at once, tearing apart anything in its way.
Duel Cero Oculto - Exactly how it sounds, Kurai forms a Cero Oculto in each hand and charges his target, hopefully striking them with both.
Cuchillada Escondida (Hidden Slash) - Kurai shrouds himself in smoke, then attacks his opponent with high-speed attacks with his sword, draining energy with each hit.
Condenación (Damnation) – Much more energy consuming, but highly effective, Condenación tightly incases its target in smoke-like energy, making it hard to move, it then causes the smoke to explode in a large, destructive energy blast, likely killing whoever was trapped inside.


Personality: Kurai is cunning, sarcastic, and selfish, and would try to save himself over anything. Even though he would sacrifice anything for his own life yet seeing him in a state of panic is rare, even if his own life is on the line. He enjoys studying the fighting styles of others, learning their patterns and habits, often being able to mimic them with time. But he is not that sociable to most people and won't usually interact with others aside from the occasional snarky comment. Despite acting arrogant most of the time, Kurai knows not to fight someone who is stronger than him and sees no shame in running from a fight he knows he will lose.

Creation Story: After consuming enough souls to be reach Adjuchas-class Kurai went off into remote corners of Hueco Mundo, where he tore off his mask. He spent most of his time alone after that, no one knowing exactly where he was, but retuning to take a place among the ranks of the Espada after defeating a previous member. He claims that he remembers a lot about his human life, but due to his lack of socialization, no one knows how true this claim is.

Butterfly's – the primary skill of her zanpakuto is to create a large swarm of butterflies made out of reishi. (roughly 50 butterflies max, though she can control the number that appear)

a. She can control them mentally, and they are made of her spiritual pressure so if used right it can affect the opponents senses as to her location, if she is hidden.
b. in low numbers (less than 10) she can use them to gather information, follow people, track spiritual pressure, infiltrate small places, etc.
c. in Large numbers they can create a shield around her to defend against attacks, though doing so tends to "kill" the butterflies. Likewise she can attack in swarm like manner tearing into the opponent with a deceptively high force.
d. truth be told they have little use other than to serve as painful distractions, hide her movements. Basically subterfuge.​



Shift- Sinai can change one, or a few, of the butterflies into objects. Usually throwing knives capable of exploding. Small things only, and only a max of 5 butterflies at a time per post.

Converge- she uses some of the butterflies and they converge into a single construct. Once formed the shape cannot be changed. The durability of the object is determined by the number of butterflies used. Only a Max of 20 per convergence

Dread Wings- the only skill so far that doesn't involve the butterflies. A simple blast of energy in a small arc shape that is fired from a slash motion. (1 post duration. 3 post cool down)

(Mass Shift)- This skill uses one or two butterflies to "tag" the target and the remaining butterflies charge the target like exploding bullets that….well explode on contact. This is usually a last resort move as she becomes unable to summon more butterflies for a while.

Personality:​
friendly and chatty during down time, but possesses a deadly focus when the need arises. Will occasionally rhyme without actually thinking about it. Loves poetry, just not necessarily haiku's.

History:​
Her upbringing was far from typical. Born in the 42nd east district the proper term was lower middle class. So low in fact that she was sold at the age of four to a mercenary clan. From then she was raised to be cunning, choosing wisely between thinking and fighting. She grew up in the mercenary-esque life style. Work and fight for money, and break the balls of anyway who tried to screw her over. She was not lucky enough to be raised by the clan chief, or the family in charge. She was the daughter of a hardworking man who expected her to work harder. And harder. And harder. If not she got beat.

A life of training, and fighting, and killing did not break her. Amongst the chaos she always seemed to find peace. She found her release in poetry, a simple pleasure that could not be restrained. Over her life she has trained in hand to hand combat. While not exactly hakuda she is a formidable unarmed opponent thanks to her long history as a mercenary.

But the second she got to leave the Life behind, she disappeared and headed for The Shino academy. There she was 'formal' trained in hakuda, in which she excelled. Her zanjutsu was average with her other classmates as well as kido but her skillset got more advanced as she progressed through the ranks. When she graduated she was accepted into squad 2 onmitsukido due to her efficiency in the art of Hakudo. It was a hard road but she worked her way through it always aiming for a spot on the Punishment force. Within squad 2 she moved from "force"to "force" serving in both the Detention Unit for a brief amount of time then being admitted into the Patrol Force. Finally she made it in to the Punishment force but only served 4 years before she was transferred to squad 10 to take the 4th​ seat position. She was soon promoted to 3rd​ seat of that division but ultimately became the Lieutenant of the 9th​ Division.


Kido:​
Bakudo 91: Black Shell: Forms a very condensed barrier. taking the stopping power of Danku and compressing it to the size and shape of the image below its stopping power is greatly amplified at the expense of size. it can hover over ones arm like a shield. The real secret to this the design. The barrier ripples on impact, diffusing the impact thus lessening the power of the incoming attack, but the barrier itself still has the stopping power of bakudo 81, Danku.

Bakudo 21 Sekienton: As the practitioner places the palms of their hands down on the ground, red smoke bursts forth from the point of contact, swiftly engulfing the surrounding area and briefly obscuring the movements of whomever is within the smoke, allowing for sneak attacks


Skills:​
Hakuda Master: Due to her intense background in the art of hand to hand combat, followed by formal training in the art of hakuda Sinai is an amazing hand to hand fighter, preferring it other forms of combat. Her small Stature hides an alarming amount of physical power.


Zanjutsu Expert: she is well versed in the art of the blade but by no means a master. Her convergance zanpakuto ability allows her to practice with several kinds of weapons out side of her standard Tanto zanpakuto as well.


Kido Expert: while she tends not to use to much Kido, she is adept enough to hold her own against another Lieutenant in this field. Her expertise in this regard is more defined by her control over her spiritual energy and how it strengthens her hakuda skills.


Hoho Expert: while not her Forte she is at the average speed of a Lieutenant. Plus her small size helps.
Master intelligence gatherer: Sinai is a cut above the rest when it comes to gathering information and tracking people down. Part of it is from her background from before her soul reaper days but its mostly due to her time on the Patrol force. She is the one to talk to if you want to know what's what, she's also a major source of information for the seireitei communication magazine.


subterfuge expert: While she is out of practice when it comes to masking her reiatsu she is able to lower it to the point where she doesn't feel like a lieutenant. Mix that with the fact that she looks like a kid most people underestimate her. Or in cases of information gathering, don't even pay her any attention since "she is just a Kid."
High Spiritual energy: as a Lieutenant She boasts a considerable amount of energy. Her spiritual pressure takes the shape of butterfly wings when exerted.
