Ikkaku "And it's a pleasure to meet you as well."
 
She straightened herself once more, and, feeling Mariko's hesitance towards this sudden companionship, she decidedly became a little more serious to the situation. "Can I ask you a question?"
 
As Johnathan walked, he decided to rest for the day. Flash steping again, he went to a random forest and jumped into a random tree. He bit his tounge and a tiny bit of blood flowed from it. Then, he drew a small circle in the air and created an sensory-jamming feild around himself so noone would find him. With that array in place, he went to sleep.
 
Karin squints her eyes just then a little bit as she senses Johnathan's spiritual pressure vanish, considering the sensory-jamming feild he just put up, and it causing her head to ache for a few minutes, and she takes hold of her head with her free hand.

Ikkaku nods to Rina "Yes of course."
 
Paige was silently listening to this, not wanting to say a word,modtly because she didn't know what to say. And Ichigo fascinated her but she kept her eyes off of him, so as not to weird him out

Ichigo stood there silently.
 
Raven had moved over to the edge of the conversation, having moved to a nearby bench and took out his lunch, pretending not to be able to see any of the above or notice the fact that if he couldn't see, Ichigo would be talking to thin air. In the list of other people he knew, Ikkaku was up there too but it had been a healthy 70 or so years since they had last seen each other so if luck dictated, he wouldn't recognize... or at least not make a scene of it all and try to make an arrest. Pulling out a sandwich he'd picked up from a convenience store, he took a bite out of it and bided his time.
 
Karin stands next to her brother, also keeping a silent posture, holding her ball in the net holder with one of her hands and rubbing her forhead a few times with her other hand. She blinks her eyes a couple of times feeling the slight ache.
 
Ichigo checked the time. "Crap, Yuzu is probably freaking out. Come on Karin we gotta get back." He began walking back to his house with his hands crammed in his pockets.
 
Karin nods and says "Okay Ichigo." She looks to Ikkaku and Paige and says. It was nice to meet you two. See you again the next time you two are in town if we happen to run into eachother. Bye" Karin then follows off after her brother holding her head a little of the way.
 
"What happens to a soul trapped here? And what happens after they move on?" Mariko looked up to Ikkaku after hearing Rina's question.
 
Ichigo was walking fairly quickly, while keeping tabs on Karin's spiritual pressure, so he wouldn't lose her. Yuzu would be in a panic when they got home. He sighed.

Paige watched the people who stayed, her wide eyes just staring at them with wonder.
 
Raven drummed his fingers on the side of the bench. That substitute shinigami seemed like a mostly regular kid and one who had been here for a long time. He'd been in this town for a long time now and it wasn't till recently that reiatsu started leaking all over. There were just too many question marks around here, ones that he couldn't well answer.

"I really hate being out of the loop," he muttered to himself. It was a half lie. He liked peacefulness but life didn't ever seem to deal him cards that allowed it.
 
Ikkaku "Well if something is keeping the soul of someone from passing on for too long then that soul will either eventually become a hollow itself, or a hollow might sense it and then attack it taking it over and turning the soul into a hollow that way. But once the soul moves on or passes on then it goes to the soul society.

Karin follows behind her brother as quick as she can trying to keep up with him and holding her head, still slightly feeling the ache and Karin blinks her eyes a couple of more times.
 
Rina stared at Ikakku, speechless. She could not possibly force Mariko to leave the world of the living by herself. But she also could not allow another monster to come near her. A small voice murmured from behind her, obviously belonging to Mariko. "But.. I want to stay here with Rina.."
 
Ikkaku looks to Mariko hearing her the looks to Rina and says "That little girl with you is a soul who hasn't been able to pass on?"
 
After a slight...nap, Johnathan woke up and streched himself out. With a sigh, he took down the sensory-jamming array and relaxed.
 
Karin feels the ache in her head ease up when the sensory-jamming feild is taken down. She stumbles off balance a little though, and then blinks her eyes again as she regains her balance.
 
She looked solemn, bowing her head a bit. "Her name is Mariko. She's my sister."
 
Ikkaku approaches and kneels to Mariko's eye level so Mariko won't be afraid of him. He then looks up at Rina and asks "How long has it been sense your sister's death?"
 
Mariko scooted a little closer to Rina, watching Ikkaku with some curiosity. "A month and seven days," said Rina, watching the two with a soft expression.
