Xenethis Straunnem

Sexta (6th Espada)
Hueco Mundo - Karakura Town

The desolate desert. The shape of the moon, almost like a full circle. The dark, dull but grey sky. Hueco Mundo in itself was a place filled with ruins among other things. As if some grand war had happened centuries or even a millenium ago, leaving nothing but ruins behind. There was this one place deeper inside Hueco Mundo and away from Las Noches itself. It was called the Negal Ruins. For some reason, the crimson haired Espada, had taken an interest in that place, albeit it being in shambles.

Standing right before the broken but wide stairs, as if it was leading up to a throne or a royal kingdom palace. Xenethis had his hands pocketed, with his golden eyes peering towards the Negal Ruins. He was drifting into his own thoughts. There was no trace of the remnants of his mask on his face. If anything, he was the only Arrancar who could remove his mask or have it re-materialize whenever, with no side effects. The Espada was wearing white gloves, a white jacket, along with a white hakama and a black sash. However, his jacket has longer coattails than others, and the collar is higher.

Just like Las Noches, Negal Ruins gave somewhat of the same feeling. It being royal or at least a place for a King or a Queen. Turning his gaze away from the ruins he had made his "home" for whenever he wanted to get away from anything of the normal, Xenethis was looking at the sky. Descending the stairs, he stopped in his tracks, as his feet dug deeper into the white sands. As the horizon widened around the Sexta, there were several dead corpses around him, blood mixed with the sand. They were all nothing but Hollows and Adjuchas, something of the latter which was what he used to be before he transcended into a better version of himself, an Arrancar.

His black Zanpakutō was strapped to the right side of his hip before his golden gaze trailed from one dead Hollow to another. It was truly a mistake to belittle one such as him, and to him, they were not even close to quenching the bloodlust inside him. A deep but bored sigh escaped Xenethis' lips. "Hmm.. You guys were given a fair warning.." He finished quite casually before walking deeper into the desolate world and away from the ruins.

Xenethis disappeared, using Sonido to appear above the surface, and in the air, being suspended. "Maybe they can help me out.." He whispered to himself, before the air cracked infront of him, thus appeared a Garganta. The gateway to the World of the Living. A grin appeared on his face before he took a few steps forward. The remnants of his mask started to re-materialize on his face, but specifically just on the right side, from the chin and up to the end of his forehead, that's how it usually was.

Just the way he likes it, the dark abyss that was before him truly was perfect for what he was about to do in the World of the Living. The Garganta closed a few seconds after he ventured inside.

Time passed.

The Garganta cracked the air forcefully on the other side, and opened up. There was none but one figure standing inside it, with his hands pocketed as always, having a lazy-like look while his gaze was fixated on the beautiful world before him, and the blue skies and the sunny weather. The place was completely different in comparison to Hueco Mundo. Xenethis would paint this world with the blood of the Shinigami. Stepping outside of it, he was standing in the air as the Garganta closed behind him. "Esconder.." He uttered, before his own reiatsu dissipated and completely vanished, unable to be traced by entities such as the Shinigami or otherwise. His reiatsu was in other words, concealed, not detectable.

Xenethis wanted to take his time to find them, but knew that the fact that a Garganta alerted them, he would disappear from his current location, which he did. The Shinigami would finally meet someone who was entirely different than your average Hollow who enjoyed lurking and preying on the humans in the World of the Living. It was truly a pathetic sight to see, even for him. As he wandered around in the sky, or from one building to another, using Sonido, he could see how packed the world was. How the humans were living their normal lives. Not that Xenethis ever cared for a human, nor would he take his time to go after them. They were nothing but trivial in his mind.

Xenethis Straunnem

Sexta (6th Espada)
Hueco Mundo - Karakura Town

Xenethis appeared a few buildings away, above in the sky, as he was finally able to stumble upon the ones who would help him out, by dying. A couple of Shinigami's were there, in other words, a pair. "Perfect." He uttered, with quite the sinister expression. He immediately dashed in extreme speed, as his Esconder was finally removed. A burst of spiritual pressure escaped his body, immediately alerting the Shinigami that something evil was approaching, and definetely the direction it was coming from.

Air waves were created behind his legs as he amped up his speed the closer he got. Xenethis was also able to re-materialize the entirety of his mask to cover his face. Since the Shinigami never knew about the existence of the Espada in general, and therefore, doing the killing anonymously would add the perfect mystery to it. Both the Shinigami turned around, looking above, towards the Espada's direction with a terrifying look. "What the hell is that?... A damn hollow?.."

"Heh!.." The grin behind his mask was unwavering, as both the Shinigami drew their Zanpakutō. "Whoever that is.. It's coming for us.. Get ready.. We're two.. And thats.. Alone.. We can take--" In that very moment both the Shinigami's eyes widened as they were frozen, like a statue. Xenethis' spiritual pressure was too intense and powerful. Both the Shinigami looked at one another before their eyes were fixated back on the Espada, but now, Xenethis was not even there. "Where.. WHERE'D HE GO!?"

There it was, the Shinigami on the right noticed a hand grabbing the face of his Shinigami-friend who was on the left. Xenethis' golden eyes squinted every so slightly from behind the mask, as he was looking at the Shinigami on the right simultaneously as he was about to crush the other Shinigami. The Espada smirked from behind his mask in that very moment. "GUH!" A terrifying voice escaped the poor Shinigami before he was forcefully pulled and dragged away by Xenethis and past the same building in extreme speed, leaving the other Shinigami behind, speechless, terrified and on the roof. "HOW.. WH.." The Shinigami behind on the roof followed their trail.

In mid-air, the Sexta threw the Shinigami in his grasp with extreme force. The Shinigami went right towards a building, unable to change the momentum or help himself out of the predicament. Xenethis was looking at him closely with his golden eyes from behind his mask, standing there, suspended in the air. The first victim went right through the building, destroying the wall, as smoke billowed from it. However, that was not the end, the momentum did not stop, as the path led the Shinigami through and out from the other side of the wide building, with smoke now billowing from the other side. By then, Xenethis was already gone from sight. The Shinigami on the roof exclaimed in panic "Shigure!!!!!"

The Espada was on the other side, and grasped the very same Shinigami who came through the building from his head, stopping his momentum right then and there. The man was unconscious and bruised heavily. His hakama torn, but his Zanpakutō was still in his hand. "Interesting fellow..." Xenethis jokingly finished, before disappearing with the Shinigami. A few seconds later, he appeared in the air, above the roof where the first Shinigami was left.

He was holding the unconscious Shinigami from behind his head, with the latters face towards the Shinigami on the roof. By now, the Espada knew quite well that other Shinigami in the vicinity was probably alerted by his unusual reiatsu. But that was also what he wished for. Looking at the pathetic Shinigami on the roof. "LET GO OF HIM YOU DAMN BASTARD!!" The Shinigami exclaimed.

The Shinigami in Xenethis' grasp was somewhat conscious by then, trying to utter something. "Uh.. Gen.. Genji-san. W... What hap.. Happened?" That was the name of the other Shinigami on the roof. Shigure was unable to comprehend his situation. "Shigure!.. Shigure! It's going to be alright!" Genji tried to re-assure his friend, tightening the grip on his Zanpakutō.

The remaining Shinigami's expression was furious, and the man had a killing intent. It was just the way Xenethis wanted. "I'll let him go.." The Espada obliged. Red energy started to appear and form between his palm and the head of the Shinigami he was still holding.

A cero started to charge and the sound it made was quite familiar to Genji, the Shinigami who was still unscathed. "A cero?!.. Wait.. What the hell are you doing?" Genji dashed, hoping he would be in time to save his Shinigami-friend, but to no avail he was late, as the red cero was unleashed. "As requested. I'm letting him go." The cero completely teared of Shigure's head from the body, as the latter dissolved inside the cero. A linear path was made from the cero as it went through the same building, destroying it even more. Shigure's head and lifeless body fell down on the roof.

"SHIGUREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!"

Mei Ling QuincyKarakura TownHighschool
The wind howls as the students arrive through the gates, hustling and bustling down like wild monkeys. Friends are greeting each other with a hug or a playful punch while newcomers stand looking scared. The seniors stand, tall and proud, confidence born of experience. Soon the students began to walk to their classes with the occasional slowcoach or chatterbox and the girl couldn't help but groan to herself. This will be the first time she'll attend this school and she couldn't help but get mixed feelings about it. She's a quincy who might encounter a shinigami in class, or worse, get to be acquainted with a touchy feely guy "Why am I not home schooled anymore." she mumbled before groaning once again and walking in to join the others.

Her sparkling blue eyes glanced left and right as she studied the place, trying to remember all details and information that could help her in the future. She also analyzed that the ratio of male and female students are off. Almost seventy percent of the students were male, which means, she won't be very comfortable in class. She was homeschooled all of her life due to her fear of men. The only reason why she's attending this school was because she needed information and she needed to mingle with others and lose her fear. As she walked down the corridors to get into class, the two males in front of her caught her attention. They were talking about the incident that happened yesterday. Mei was there when the incident happened. Heck, she was the one who was trying to chase after the wretched hollow but to some strange reasons, she lost it. Of course there's a possibility that a shinigami had killed it but she shook it off. Its not possible for shinigamis to be around the area at that time.

She soon found herself in a room filled with students with a lot of boys and immediately scared her. How come this school got a lot of boys?! Now she's having a freaking panic attack on the first day!! Trying to calm herself and muttering curses under her breath, she sauntered her way towards the class and sat on the very back, hoping no one will notice her. "Gosh, please let me have a normal first day."

Vash was rather disappointed in his ally's response to the question, simply answering that they are interesting to interact with.

"Ok, so they are interesting to you, but how so? Interesting in a 'fun to attack' way, fun to observe due to their duties to protect human lives, even willing to sacrifice their lives to do so? Is it the fact that they are a large organization with multiple levels of rank, compared to ours where there are just Espada, fraccion and every other hollow below? Well, as far as I have heard, their organization is very big," Vash was not willing to let this conversation about the shinigami die out so fast, as he really wanted to know what the other hollow thought of them. It was best to ask another Espada since they could control their urges to kill better than the lower levels, as well as have a better thought process. He continued to walk with his comrade to the giant place known as Las Noches. "but anyway, I want to get your in depth answer. We have so much time on our hands anyway, so please don't be quick about this one," The Gillian-classed Espada added.

Just as Yue responded saying she already had a Lieutenant, that same Lieutenant appeared before them both to report a successful criminal clearing. As soon as Yue praised Killala, it made Axel think about how he still needed a Lieutenant as well. It would be great to coordinate someone else who could bring around different ideas to the table.

Once Axel heard Yue command Setsuna to accompany him until she was done with taking care of the criminal, he was conflicted. He didn't need a Lieutenant at this very moment, especially since all of his paperwork was done.

"Well, I would love to have Setsuna around and all, but my squad fulfilled all of our duties for today. We could go eat I guess, but that is up to you," the captain looked into Setsuna's eyes with a curious facial expression.

"Ah, good morning." said a familiar voice, coming in from street left of the intersection that Axel and Division 2 were in the middle of. the captain looked that way to see Captain Kobayashi's face turn from surprise to a smile, as if she had no idea that the bunch would be here, which was logical, since this didn't happen too much around here.

"Oh, Aki, just in time to get something to eat with me and Lieutenant Setsuna, haha," Axel said with a smile and chuckle.

Eisei Fubuki| 6 squad liutenant | Location: Soul Society

Was already at noon when she wake up to her bed. she had made paperwork late into the night and still on the table was yet unfinished stack of paper waiting for her. Sighing she glanced at the stack of paper which should be ready by evening, tiredly she wanted to throw the papers from the window onto the courtyard and sleep for the rest of the day. Of course she could not do so, because her captain would kill her afterwards.
Closing her eyes again she could feel something little and soft paws over her stomach. White and black cat sat down on her stomach "...Oh! Hello Tiny!" she said to the cat that purred with satisfaction. Tiny was one of the twenty cats that she had found from the street and taken to his home. Her house was like a bomb aftermath, boxes, cat toys and food bowls in every corner. She was able to keep the cats in secret from the her captain which fortunately rarely visited. "Perhaps it would have reason to do the paperwork done in time, so he did not have any reason to come visit me" Eisei thought, perching on the edge of the bed looking stack of paper on his desk.

Akai Tori | 8 Espada | Location: Hueno Mundo

He had walked for days and now he was already almost there. Watching the big white castle, he could not help but notice the Kihimi's strong Spiritual Power that seemed much more heavily in the vicinity of the castle and made him feel weak. He had met the primera once, but never took any contact with her. This female espada is really strong, and could kill him with one blow. Sighing hard the pink-haired arrancar walked closer to the white castle until he sensed two different kind of spiritual power, realizing that the other belonged to the 4th Espada while the second was much weaker. "Hmm! Interestingly could noveno try to beat the cuarto?" he thought knowing that it was rare that two different values espada take any contact with each other. Using sonido, he stepped closer to the duo, still keeping the distance between them.

Anh Trang, the Soul Society's most wanted for noise disturbances

Location: Chilling out with assorted Shinigami, at first....

Having finally finished their informal parade through the Seireitei, Anh's posse came to a stop at the 8th division barracks. This was where she broke out the drinks she had promised earlier. Nothing brought a smile to her lips more than to see her division, or heck any Shinigami, just relax and have a good time. There were too many divisions with captains that had rods wedged up their asses, and it always made Anh sad to watch people doing military stuff all day long. Life, or death as it were, was not all about psyching up for the next encounter with Hollows. Shinigami were just about as human as it came, and even they deserved the freedom to let their hair down once in a while. She was firmly of the belief that a little morale booster would be better than all the drills and training in the world.

"Anh, babe!" One of her subordinates approached her. She had a feeling some of the other captains might have had his head for speaking like this, but she let everyone know she didn't mind a little informal talk, so long as no one got nasty. "Killer party again. The 8th division is probably the best in the Seireitei, far as I'm concerned."

"Well thank you, Hiko, I'm glad you're enjoying things." She couldn't be happier with how thing were turning out.

"I just wish my brother was here to enjoy it..."

"Hmm? Who's your brother?"

"His name's Shigure. He's in the 13th division, and he's a real great guy. He went out on patrol to Karakura town with his buddy Genji a while back. I'm kinda worried, they were supposed to be back sooner..." Anh could tell that Hiko was quite concerned. She had to admit, it was entirely possible something had happened to him and his friend out in the human world. She felt a sudden flash of inspiration, and leapt onto her feet. "Hiko, I'm going to find your brother and bring him here to enjoy this party!" And with that, she was off, leaving Hiko with his jaw hanging open. He didn't honestly think the captain would just get up and go like that, and for some random Shinigami no less. But at least he could rest assured his brother would be safe in the care of a captain....

Captain Nicias Xyl
Soul Society

Captain Xyl removed himself from paperwork to walk through his squads barracks. Using his nodachi length zanpakuto as something akin to a walking stick his approach was well announced as he moved through the hall. The squad was busy at work, bustling and running around in units, receiving assignments and missions and preparing for their execution. The one constant in squad ten was motion. People were always moving. If it wasn’t working it was training. If it wasn’t training it was preparation. If it want preparation furnishing reports. He stepped into the courtyard and tapped his sheath to the ground one more time calling everyone to attention instantly “Ladies and Gentlemen” his voiced carried across the courtyard. “unit 3, unit 2 has called for reinforcements in their post in the 43rd rukon district. Unit 7 and 9, relieve units 6 and 8 in the world of the living.” He tapped his sheath one more time and a handful of people flash-stepped away into action. “unit 13 report to my office. Everyone else carry on” he turned and most people continued on about their work except for unit 13 who fell into step behind their captain.

Once in His office Captain Xyl took a seat and leaned forward to address the gathered unit before him. The ten shinigami of unit 13 stood with their hands behind their backs awaiting orders. The commanding officer stood closest to the captain. Most of the units consisted of 10-12 shinigami led by a low seated member. Higher seated members under Captain Xyl operated as their own unit for the tasks missions when the need arose but usually they acted as supervisors for some missions and led the training sessions based on their skill sets. Some of the units were compiled based on the skills of the members however this was not one of those units. “we are going test your formations and your team work to date. “

*30 minutes later*

As Captain Nicias walked through the forest, two shinigami rushed out of the tree line at him. He took a step backwards avoiding their blades. They moved well together but Nicias could tell that they were pushing him back on purpose. On cue two more shot out at him from the bushed he backfliped into the tree line but leapt backwards one more time as a kido almost hit him on the branch. So far their team work was pretty in synch and Nicias was so far approving. What happened next was very disappointing. It was a full on ambush which would have worked on a hollow but not a shinigami. Hollows were usually larger targets so an ambush ensured someone got in a vital hit. One a single person they only got in each other’s way. With a single short flash step there was a full on collision. One by one they recovered and came at their captain. Nicias appreciated how seriously they took the evaluation so he responded accordingly. Without drawing his sword he parried their strikes with his sheath. They quickly fell into a pattern, of striking and then defending each other. Among the clashing of the swords and the swooshing sound of multiple shihakusho Captain Nicias registered an incantation being spoken. His body was engulfed in a red light, a bakudo. All around him the shinigami of unit 13 leveled their swords. Theoretically he was paralyzed, it was a simple bakudo that he could break easily, that he would break easily but he wanted to see what they did next. Seeing that they didn’t move in for the kill he broke the bakudo with a spike in his spiritual pressure. “round tw…..change of plans” He was cut off by something coming into his awareness. A hollow. Not a particularly strong one.

“A Hollow has entered my field of sensing. Your new assignment, is to find it, kill it and report back here. It is no weakling, I am timing you. Go.” With the tap of hos sheath they were dispatched to hunt and kill the hollow

At this point Kaito was getting rather annoyed at all the badgering questions that Vash was asking, but knew that until he gave the man a very detailed answer he wasn't going to rest anytime soon. Sighing as he turned on his heels now facing the man with a rather obvious bored expression he began his reply. "Fine if you find this topic so fascinating i'll indulge you. Well to be honest it might be the way that they defend human lives with everything they've got from us, but I also fancy them because of their individuality I guess since all of their blades look the same yet hold deeper secrets within them. " To his surprise Kaito actually found himself getting rather absorbed into the topic as he thought more and more upon it. "Speaking of their blades i've always wondered what types of spirits live inside of them since they always call out names whenever their swords transform. And its always different too I mean how many spirits can there possibly be...well I guess the answer to that would be endless when you think about it. " Now that he had gotten into this little thought process he began debating back and forth between his views seemingly ignoring all other outside forces until he was pulled out of it.

"Can today possibly get anymore boring." Rei sighed as he stopped paying attention to the lesson that was going on in class ages ago preferring to stare out the window towards the outside world. Returning back to class he noticed that the teacher had finished their lecture and gave everyone pretty much free time until the period was over. Yawning as he sat back a bit in his chair he caught a conversation about some sort of mysterious car crash with some man raving like a lunatic about something chasing him. Of course he paid it no mind at first seeing it as some ordinary drunk raving on about UFO sightings and other such bullshit rumors. But then he thought about it maybe being one of those red masked freaks he saw a while back and hoped that he was right. "Could it really have been? Well no harm in going to at least make sure that the story was straight at the very least." Getting up from his seat he asked the two students behind him just where it was that this incident occurred. After getting the directions he grabbed his bag and slung it over his shoulder walking out of the classroom going unnoticed as the teacher was answering questions at his desk. "If it really is one of those masked monsters then I guess this can serve as the perfect opportunity to put all that training to the test." Clenching his fist he made a bee line out off the school heading towards the restaurant where this all started.

  • 1st Division Barracks

    Kyoto-Ryoan-Ji_MG_4512.jpg

There was one where Shin was if he was not in the barracks or his office. In the back of the 1st Division's barracks area is a Zen Garden Shin crafted for himself. It was not much compared to the human world's version, given how small the area was. But given what was done with the size restriction, it was a fairly decent version. As this was a place of peace and quiet for him, he has made an order that no Shinigami is to enter this place unless it is to silently meditate, or an emergency arises.

Immediately after waking up, the man walked straight for this garden and sat legs crossed in meditation, his Zanpakuto laying on his lap, as he faced the garden and closed his eyes. The images of that dream he had was still vivid in his eyes. Images of those monstrous creatures, and of the former head-captain's demise. Thinking of them, he could not help but start thinking about the past.

After the previous head-captain died, Shin was advised by Central 46 to take up his place as the Gotei 13's leader and essential commander-in-chief. While he likes to believe that it's because they trust him and trust that he had the leadership to take on such a task, the more possible truth was that they had him put here to make keeping tabs on him easier, give him more responsibilities to uphold and by extension make him easier to control through his sense of honor and respect.

It's also very possible that making him Head-captain out of the blue without even a chance for the others divisions to elect anyone for it was also a part of their ploy, not only to root out the un-trusting, but to hopefully find a way to ax Shin off without needing to actually do anything about it by letting the frustrated shinigami that wanted that position to attack him for it.

However, while some of the shinigami, specifically one entire division of them, DID conspire against the new Head-captain as Central 46 predicted, they did not anticipate the possibility that someone would come to Shin's aid without his own knowing, and stopped the potential rebellion before it even started.

Thus begun and abruptly ended the "7th Rebellion" and the "Iris Beheaded Incident" respectively, leading to the 7th Division's Seated members, lieutenant, and Captain to all be terminated, and a new captain taking its place and developing new management of the division.

While Shin is thankful to the new captain for ending a rebellion before it got out of hand and brought more harm to the Soul Society than it already did, his gruesome actions plus his connection to Shin placed the new head-captain to blame for it. The only reason the new captain wasn't punished for what he did was because Shin explained that the people he was killing plotted insurrection against the head-captain, and so are counted as guilty of treason. Central 46, indeed, could not argue with that logic, lest they argue their own involvement in letting it happen.

Still, it was agreed that they should at the very least enlist him on particularly dangerous missions, suicide missions as it were, as a punishment for the 'damages'. It was risky, but Shin believed he could handle them.

Ever since those days centuries ago, Shin has been focused entirely on making the Soul Society a decent place and the Shinigami within the Seireitei to be among the best of soldiers. Not a very easy thing with the two flowers tattooed on his the back of both his hands, but he has tried regardless.

Staring down the Zen Garden, he closed his eyes, meditating now to get his mind focused out of the past and into the present.

  • Seireitei Corridor

As the 5th Captain took her stroll, the shinigami around her probably assumed she was alone in this walk. It was not necessary to blame them for not realizing just how wrong they were in that assumption.

Of course, the people she met up with just so happened to be the lieutenant of the Captain in charge of the Onmitsukido, who, quite frankly, might be able to spot the hiding 5th lieutenant without even trying.

The captain of autumn, as they say, always had the breath of Winter in her shadow.

Within what little shadow he can cover himself in in this broad daylight, the boy of ivory hair hides himself behind her captain using basic stealth techniques, such as the colored sheet he's using now for camouflage, sticking to the wall with it covering his body, two small holes for the eyes to see what goes on around him. In the eyes of a normal person or perhaps a Shinigami of another division, the boy probably would be considered a Stalker. But by now, the 5th division has gotten use to the sneaky methods of its lieutenant.

Makoto Fujisaki, the cold white-haired lieutenant of the 5th division, but formerly a member of the folk Captain Xiang was teaching a lesson to, and apparently a good scolding. Well, he didn't see the Scolding of course, and in fact didn't see Captain Xiang anywhere. However, since there were members of Onmitsukido out in the open, apparently for just one Shinigami criminal, it's very easy to assume that it was for a scolding. If his experience in that force years ago taught him anything, it's that if they are visible, then they are not doing their job.

"Amateurs..." He thought. As usual, it seems Captain Xiang has her work cut out for her. Probably not helping matters was that Captain Rover, a man Makoto sees as 'someone who is trying too hard to be too active in too many places', was apparently trying to take claim of lieutenant Setsuna to be his own lieutenant, something Makoto could not help but sigh at.

"It's his own fault if he can't find worth in any of his men." He thought. However, he said and did nothing, simply being inactive until his captain tells him otherwise.

  • The Menos Forest- The Professor's Laboratory

As he continued his research into various creations of his, he noticed one of the monitors blinking to the side. His workshop computer set consisted of many different things in front of him, two of which being two sets of monitors. On his right and to his center was the main monitors, where he does all of his work, but to the left were a set of 9 monitors, lined up in a 3x3 gridline. Each one was displaying each of the 9 members of the Espada, lining them up in order from the top left, showing Kihimi, to the bottom right, showing Vash.

    271905_81_36943_pFcLswIuK.jpg

How was he able to do this? By one of his first creations as an Arrancar. The "Wisps", as he calls them, are portable, flying, remote-control surveilance cameras designed to be Lososol's eyes and ears outside of his lab. They are capable of flight, and sends a direct live feed to the computer in his lab, but they are utterly harmless, carrying and using no weapons. As Espada 10, he is weakest of the Espada. If they wanted to, other members, especially of the higher half of rank, are able to break him like a twig. As such, it is best for his own protection that he is put into a position where he can make tabs on everyone's actions. To better make this possible, he has equipped them with optic camouflage and placed a filter on its energy usage. Even an Espada would have a difficult time spotting a wisp, to say nothing of the Shinigami. When locked onto a target, they detect them by their spiritual energy, and failing that, they have a secondary search function that allows them to lock on a target by physical analysis of said target based on scans of the target that Lososol keeps recorded in the memory of his computer. In other words, it knows a target when it sees one. It's also very useful as a tool of communication, being able to let him speak through them and transmit a live feed video of himself in his lab via their projectors located in the center.

When Xenethis left for Karakura town, the wisp that followed him entered the gargantua before him, so that the way would not close with it still in Hueco Mondo when Xenethis comes through it. Flying above the sky with not even the Shinigami being able to notice its presence, the wisp showed Lososol the fight Xenethis had with them. ...Well, Fight was too generous, this was really a one-sided massacre.

Even so, Lososol could not help but sigh and cover his face with his palm.

"The most gruesome of deaths are the ones you don't see...such as the element of surprise for instance." Lososol said to himself. Credit where its due: Considering Xenethis' blood lust, it is a miracle he hasn't tried something like this before. Respect should also be given that he's clearly trying to go incognito, using his full mask to make himself look like a normal hollow, rather than an Arrancar. He clearly doesn't quite fit the disguise of a hollow with his human like anatomy, but he DID try at least to be stealthy enough to make sure nobody sees him there. Xenethis clearly planned out this scenario, as basic as it is, and that is something Lososol can respect. He continued to watch the fight, but immediately, by extending out his hand towards the screen and moving towards the central screen, the battle became recorded on the computer. He rewind the recording to the moments a moment where he could see his mask.

"His mask is whole...But sometimes it's in half like it should be...other times still he has no mask at all." He thought. His eyebrows immediately rising up as he sees him kill one of the Shinigami.

"...Of course....OF COURSE! Why didn't I think of this before!? ...Xenethis, ...I always thought he was just a battle-driven brute, but he may be very useful to me after all." Lososol said to himself.

  • Karakura Town- High School

    snapshot20100416224452.jpg

Eventually, his roof top skills would lead him straight into landing on the School's rooftop. ...Well, sort of, as he didn't quite make it over the fence, hanging on to it with one hand to make sure he doesn't take a suicide drop to the ground, while holding his skate board on the other hand.

In hindsight, maybe he should have just made a ramp downwards towards the entrance so that he wouldn't be put in a situation where he dies if he so much as lets go. On the other hand, he was a Quincy. In his line of off-school work, to let go of what he has his hands is to die anyways, so this was hardly any different. He then placed his feet on the wall he was hanging off the bottom of, and immediately pushed off it, swinging his body in an upward arc up and over the fence, waiting most of his body was on the other side of the fence before letting go of it and landing on the roof.

"For every other kid in this town, what I just did was a death-defying stunt they'd probably only see in the movies. For us quincies though, It was just another monday." Sky thought with a smile on his face, wiping the dust off his coat and proceeding to head for the stairs.

As he walked down stairs to his class, he stopped moving upon hearing peculiar voices, those of his fellow classmates, Akira and Masao, talking about something that apparently happened. While listed as an accident made by an insane old man, it's obvious to him what that really meant.

"Another one? ...AGAIN!? I thought the senpai siblings gotten rid of a good number of them a few days ago. ...Even ignoring the amount though, that's still weird. A hollow was chasing after a living old man? There's the occasional jackass hollow that manages to have its reasoning even after conversion, and usually it's because they were already evil SoBs to begin with in life. It's not common, but it does happen, in which case it's possible this was one of those hollows striking out against someone that probably screwed him over. But then...Where were the Shinigami during this? Gees, they apparently have an entire military and yet they can't stop a hollow from almost killing people?" Sky thoughts ran as he headed for class. Opening up the door to the same class Akira and Masao was in, immediately looking at everyone with a smile on his face.

"Yo guys." He cheerfully said. Walking towards his own desk with his skateboard in his hand. But before he sat down, he saw someone that made him do a double-take look.

"Mei? Holy crap, What are you doing here?" He asked her immediately, pleasently surprised to see a fellow Quincy in his class. It was rather...unexpected though, as far as he knew she was being home-schooled by her parents. He then took his seat and class began. During the free period, he noticed Rei asking about the hollow accident those two boys were talking about, and walked out the moment they gave him directions.

"Oi, Free period's not gonna last that lo-...annnd off he goes. May as well not even be here." Sky said with a slight chuckle and a smile. The smile, while looking genuine, was a facade to hide the fact of his worry. That boy's no shinigami, and definitely no Quincy. If that hollow's still at that restaurant for some reason, there could be trouble. But, he knows his parents and possibly the Awatano siblings would get upset if he skipped class for something that's only an assumption at this point. Hopefully a Shinigami will show its use and help him out.

  • Karakura Town- Mashiba Middle School

As he was about to enter the junior-high, talking with his friends as he did, he suddenly sensed something powerful as the Cero Xenethis fired would be seen behind him, though clearly only by him. He looked behind towards the city, noticing that one of the three he was sensing is gone now, as he turned around towards the fading Cero in the distance.

"...Ah, crud. Have they finally decided to show themselves? ...Damn, we're not even close to ready for them yet. ...Looks like I'll have to get to work finding some people after school, and fast." He thought.

"Hey, Tai, hurry up, we're gonna be late!" A voice from behind said as a boy called out for him. Tai turned towards them, scratching the back of his head with a smile.

"Sorry, I thought I heard something. Anyways let's get going, Sensei'll have our heads if we're late again." Tai said as he ran towards the kid and walked with him into the school.

Sakihana Kuchiki
4th Division Lieutenant
Noblewoman ; Daughter of Shisa Kuchiki

WITH: Captain Shizuka Kurenai | WHERE?: 4th Division Barracks { Captain's Office } | FEELING?: - - - / Normal

"Having another afternoon nap, Saki?.."
Sakihana opened her eyes and jolted her head up slightly as she looked at the direction of her familiar captain's voice."Ah.. No ma'am.." She softly responded as she momentarily looked away. Sakihana stood there, not at all feeling as embarrassed or apologetic as she used to back in the previous years. She was fairly getting used to the fact that her captain would catch her having a tiny accidental nap in the middle of her duties and let out a soft sigh."Thank you for telling me that." The brunette stated as she followed behind her captain. "You don't seem to have any sort of task for later while you were gone, Or at least not anything I have heard of." Explained the young Kuchiki girl. "..And I don't think anything has happened since you were gone.. I apologize for my incompetence captain Kurenai. To be honest -as you can tell-, I had just arrived myself. I plan on apologizing to the head captain later as well, But for now I'll attend the meeting along with you...If thats fine..
" She awkwardly stated, clarifying and repeating what she was going to do: Join her captain, and later apologize to the head captain -At least before it gets dark and she doesn't forget-.

"I don't think my father will mind it." the girl paused."He's... not as strict as he seems, at least with me... And besides, usually Division 4 is none of his concerns work-wise... But I could be wrong. I know i'm his concern definitely. But like said, He doesn't really mix personal business into work-related business.. At least thats what it seems to me." She tucked her messy hair behind her ear and quietly stood beside Shizuka's desk."So.. is there anything for me to do?" She asked."Please.." The meaning of 'please' was almost used as a beg if Shizuka didn't have work for her and she momentarily moved the topic on as her Captain settled down.

"So, if i may ask, who will be sharing a drink with you?" she asked blinking her eyes in a curious manner as she folded her hands behind her back, taking on her usual posture.

Bowing her head in gratitude toward her Captain, Killala had a distinct feeling there was more than one reason for her sudden compliment. "You flatter me Captain." She responded in kind. That was until Yue abandoned her to "accompany" Captain Rover, for nothing more than his entertainment she was sure. She didnt even have time to protest before her Captain vanished from sight. 'I think she takes great satisfaction in putting me in these situations....' She inwardly fumed before turning her attention back to Axel.

To his words she simply smiled a bit nervously beneath her mask. "Heh is that right? Well I'll be happy to accompany you to breakfast-" Her words were cut off when a familiar voice sounded from behind her. Quickly turning around Killala waved at Captain Kobayashi. "Oh! Good morning Captain Kobayashi." She greeted in return. Her tone was friendly though a bit formal. At Rover's suggestion she felt a mix of relief and dread. She was relieved she wouldnt be alone with Rover, if Aki accepted. But she dreaded having to share a meal with 2 Captain's she didnt know that well, especially being a Lieutenant from a different squad herself. It was more than a bit awkward, even though the purple haired assassin hid it well. "If your not too busy that is." She added to Rover's invitation.[/fieldbox]

Anh Trang, Viewer of Corpses

Location: Karakura Town

Using a Senkaimon, Anh found herself standing in Karakura town in the living world. She always wondered why this pissant town was supposed to be some great spiritual place. Surely spiritual energy thingies could gather somewhere more important, like just about ANYWHERE in Vietnam. Anh really wanted to go and see Vietnam again. She was always tempted to do so when she ended up in the living world, but she felt such a long detour would piss off the ass-rods in the Gotei 13 more than anything else she did. Besides, right now she had a job to do, and she didn't plan on leaving Hiko wondering what was up for too long. It occurred to her that she didn't ask what Shigure or Genji looked like, which might make things difficult here. Fortunately, she could remember Hiko hanging around two other Shinigami every other time she chanced upon him, so chances are it was those two guys.

She ended up meandering about Karakura town for a while, being unable to track down either of them. She did however pick up on the presence of a few Quincies. She didn't have a problem with Quincies, but she knew that Quincies had a problem with Shinigami, so she doubted it was a good idea to go strike up a casual conversation with those guys. She just kept looking on her own. She was beginning to get frustrated when she finally caught sight of one of the faces she remembered Hiko talking to, who was lying down in the street. She rushed over to talk to him.

Then she realized he was dead. Quite dead. And there was another one nearby, but this one lacked a head. This was not good. Hiko was going to be crushed to find out his brother was dead. But not as crushed as his brother's head appeared to be. Whatever had attacked this pair, Anh could tell they had done a number on them. Given the wound wasn't very clean, it seemed Shigure's head had been ripped off completely. Or perhaps blown off? Anh wasn't a wound expert. She also realised that maybe it wasn't Shigure that got his head blown off, seeing as he never found out which of these guys was which. But it didn't matter much, since they were both dead either way. Anh caught sight of another dead Shinigami, hanging over the side of the roof of a nearby building. Going up to take a look, Anh soon found even more dead Shinigami. This was the site of a massacre. With a heavy heart, Anh scooped up both Genji and Shigure, whichever one was which, and prepared to make the journey home. The others would have to wait, as Anh only had to arms. She would have to tell the others to get the other Shinigami back home. This was really going to scupper her plans for the day. But as flippant as she knew she could be, Anh wouldn't be happy until she had done everything she could to do right by the fallen Shinigami...

'Hmm, you mean their Zanpakuto? Yes, each Shinigami has a different spirit dwelling within them. After decades of researching them, I have found out a lot of things, but what I want to know the most is where they live," Vash replied to Kaito, who at first seemed bored, but was now as absorbed into the topic as the Ninth Espada was, or at least it looked that way. "I have thought about following them into the gates they seem to go through, but that is suicide, especially since they are hostile no matter how much I try to cooperate with them," Vash added, his facial expression turning into a smile. He was enjoying this, to Korosuki and Koroseki's chagrin.

Everything seemed to be going nice until Vash sensed another large spiritual pressure in their vicinity. To his left he saw the eighth Espada, Akai staring at him and Kaito from just a few meters away.

"And what brings you to us, eighth? Perhaps you want to get in on our discussion about the shinigami?" Vash asked as his expression turned back into a blank one. Seeing Akai brought him back into his boring personality. He didn't know what it was, but something seemed fishy about the Eighth. Why was he observing the two from afar?

Captain Nicias Xyl
Location: Soul Society w/ unit 13 of squad 10

Captain Nicias sat beneath a tree with his zanpakuto resting against his shoulder, he closed his eyes, not to sleep but to focus his senses. He could sense the unit closing in on the hollow, each of its members represented by a colored spiritual energy in his minds eye and the hollow took on a dark black hue. To the captain the battle was one of colors. Some colors spiked as their respective owners most likely activated their shikai. Others stabilized from time to time, something he knew signified the casting of a Kido. The hollow, in theory, didn’t stand a chance but theory and practice were always two different playing fields. Captain Nicias couldn’t tell what kind of hollow it was other than it wasn’t anything more than a regular hollow, not a menos or stronger. Even so most of the efforts of his men seemed to not phase the hollow so it might have some sort of armor like skin. A smirk crawled across the captains face as he wondered how the unit would adapt to the situation.

There were several ways to handle an armored hollow, and it seemed to not be all that fast at that. Everything was weak to something, in most cases the eyes and mouth are the most obvious spots but the hardest or most dangerous to hit. Immobilizing and overwhelming it seemed to be the best option for this group but it was a mixed group. The colors shifted formation into a frontline- backline formation. The managed to bog the beast down it seemed, by attacking with a blend short and long range attacks and judging by the hollows spiritual pressure it was feeling some kind of pain, just not enough to kill it. If the battle continued it would draw more hollows. Even so the captain did not interfere. He did, however rise up and move toward the battle field. If, by the time he got to them, they had not killed the hollow he would declare the training a failure. The seated officer assigned to the Unit was most likely able to kill the hollow, but probably wouldn’t for the sake of the assignment. Half way there he felt the hollow disappear. Captain Nicias let out a sigh of relief “Looks like they managed to defeat it. without casualties”

Moments later the Unit regrouped at his position. Some seemed a bit battered, other only winded but everyone was in one piece. “you have passed this examination” he emphasized the “this” to indicate that there would be more to come. “you show a valid unity but it is far from excellent. Continue to train, to work hard together. Hollows are our common enemy and come in many shapes, sizes and powers, you did well to defeat that one however there are many stronger than that before you even reach the menos level. Keep that in mind. Lets go home.” He led them back to the barracks, as they traveled the unit fell into quiet casual conversation with one another but Nicias remained silent. He was proud of them, he was, but they needed to do better still. Soon he would have to hold another unit leader meeting and address a ton of things, he tried to keep the meetings to a monthly basis but sometimes emergency meetings needed to be called. Once back at the barracks he dismissed the unit and he went for a walk. The seireitei was a busy place but it had its quiet spots where he liked to go to ease his mind.

Shizuka Kurenai | 4th Division Captain

As the Captain listened to her lieutenant, Shizuka grinned gently as she walked further into her office until she approached her desk, looking it over as she stood.

"You don't seem to have any sort of task for later while you were gone, Or at least not anything I have heard of... And I don't think anything has happened since you were gone.. I apologize for my incompetence captain Kurenai. To be honest -as you can tell-, I had just arrived myself. I plan on apologizing to the head captain later as well, But for now I'll attend the meeting along with you...If thats fine.."

"I suppose that would be my fault this time around.. I could have left you some paperwork but I ended up finishing all that myself before I had left. I should be the one to apologize to you in this case, I left without giving you anything to do to keep yourself busy... I could've asked you to supervise some of the patients treatments or make sure the others in our division weren't doing anything stupid.."

With a gentle grin still on her lips, the white-haired woman turned to face her lieutenant as her red eyes settled upon her visage, "As for the drinks.. Well, I'm actually going to ask around to see who'd like to, truth be told.." With a quiet laugh, Shizuka shut one eye as she stuck her tongue out faintly in a smile, "You're still free to join me if you so wish, otherwise I can have you check on the 11th Division. They always have someone ready for a stretcher by the end of the day.."

Kairi Veritahl | 11th Division Lieutenant

As Captain Ishida was breaking some people in and shouted for his Lieutenant for transfer papers, Kairi was rather quick on the draw to respond as she arrived shortly after. The bluenette held a roll of papers in one hand as she looked over at her captain with an alert stare, brows tersed downward as if expecting something, "I ought to stuff spares in my shihakusho at this rate, Captain.. Please tell me you have something else for me to do because this is boring as all hell watching these no-seaters play like children.. I'll take care of this transfer for you today so you can focus but-.." With a blink, Kairi tilted her head as she looked past her Captain to see none other than Rosina, an amusing woman nonetheless but quite the attention seeker. Before she had much chance to say anything, the 12th Division Lieutenant looked to already be leaving as she slipped away out of the 11th's area.

Reikuhara Awataro | Quincy

Some time before Captain Ahn's arrival
"You felt it too.. Didn't you?..."

It was some time after the attack the mysterious Hollow had committed, Reikuhara standing on the very rooftop that it occurred as she looked around in silent wonder. Her expression almost completely empty, her eyes dully looked over the area for a trace of clues. There were more bodies than just two, and they were all shinigami. She stood alone as she saw each lifeless body, every one with a unique end to their life. "Hollows wouldn't just leave bodies around like this... They devour.. So what is this?.."

Questioning this, it only made more questions arise. Questions she'd have to find out later. Departing from the scene, Reikuhara made little more than a sound comparable to a breeze as she slipped away from the place, not long after a shinigami Captain would arrive for their own reasons unbeknownst to Reiku, nor did she particularly care. What had her attention was what caused it.
. . . . . . . . . .
Present Time
"What do you think about this, Brother?... Something didn't feel right about the air where I stood. Those bodies were Shinigami but something still left them dead there, and it'd be all the same if it were us Quincies or fellow humans.. It still sent the same message to me. It's likely no ordinary hollow or spiritual being, but what..." Reikuhara had by then explained what she had seen to her older brother, Satomi Awataro, a fellow Quincy in name and family. Arms crossed from her chest, Reiku still stared on with the same expressionless look, but Satomi could tell she was concerned on many things, "You felt it too... Didn't you?"

Fehsmerl Nemsi Captain of the 7th Division
Location: Soul Society

Early in the morning most of the 7th division were standing around in the courtyard of their barracks, as the captain was going to welcome their new recruits as well as participate in their first regular training. After having waited for more than an hour one of the newer members gathered enough courage to speak up.
"What kind of worthless captain leaves his division standing for hours without even bothering to show up!" Other similarly junior members mumbled their agreement while the senior members simply sighed. Somehow, the shinigami standing close to the upspeaking newcomer all moved a few steps away, as if having agreed upon it beforehand. Leaving a single shinigami standing by his side. A shinigami with a captains garb. The newcomer who at first seemed puzzled by the other members actions slowly turned around, a look of slight despair coming over his face. He hadn't even noticed the man, and while he was just out of the academy, he had still believed his Reiatsu perception was adequate. That thought was crumbling as his captain was surveing him head to toe with a gleefull expression. The shinigami around them holding their breath in anticipation.

"So, not doing anything for a measly hour is enough to rattle your calm?" The captain said, tilting his head to one side as if he couldn't get his head around it. "Then how do you think you will remain hidden among an army of hollows? Even if you supress your Reiatsu, the wery act of movement will betray your presence. I hope I'll never have to see you die from such a childish mistake, shinigami." Leaving the newcomer behind as the crowd closed behind him, the captain walked up to the little stage having been prepared for him in front of the gathered members. Looking out across them he straightened his back and drew in a breath.

"Attention, shinigami of the seventh division! For those among you that have yet to feel at home, I am Fehsmerl Nemsi, your captain! I welcome you to our ranks as much as a fellow shinigami as your superior. Here in the seventh we strive to bring balance to the worlds around us, be that through slaying hollows or bettering the life of our peers. I trust that you will contribute to the best of your ability, and I hope that you will always view the world as it is." Fehsmerl let his gaze wander through the faces of those in the courtyard, sensing their excitement and energy. While he had become a captain out of necessity, the chance to train and foster the power and abilities of the young was had proved more enjoyable than he would have ever imagined. He couldn't help but smile, it was time to shape their potential.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Later that day Fehsmerl was walking towards the first divisions barracks, thinking back on the new members first indoctrination.
He had begun by letting them pair up and perform simple sparring-matches, during which he went around watching their Zanjutsu and giving advice where it was due. After that he had them try to keep up as he ran around the courtyard for more than an hour.
Then they went on to perform basic training with kido, one attacking and the other defending. A few of the newcomers did of course overestimate their abilities and managed to get roughed up, which he had anticipated. While they rested he had them meditate and aim to supress their Reiatsu, with mixed results. He ended the training with a king of the hill sparring against himself, promising any newcomer who managed to land a hit on him a wider choice of duties for the month. Even while he used only his sealed Zanpakuto, none of the new members managed to land a single hit, though they did on the other hand recieve an adequate amount.

During this the regular members followed more or less the same training regime, focusing on the parts they needed more training with.
Fehsmerl had then talked privately with each of the members for a few minutes, discussing the regular members individual growth and struggle to learn the names of their swords, or their training in their inner world. And sending the new members to the different seated officers for their duties after having gained an understanding of their strengths.
While Fehsmerl was not generally as apparent a figure in the division, he still felt that the first impression of the new members was worth the time spent on it. The reason for his decision to leave most workings of the seventh to his seated officers being the same as why he was on his way to the first division, and the head captain of the Gotei 13.

Following the chaos during his taking of the captains position in the seventh, he had been forced to accept any and all missions the Central 46 decided to give him. And while the reason has long since been payed for, he still spent most of his time out on the same kind of missions. Most would attribute this to his sense of duty, and while that was certainly a part of it, Fehsmerl saw it as a way to view the true state of the world, only serving to fuel his determination in the need for balance.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Arriving at the first divisions barracks, Fhesmerl clamly waited for its members to let him in, some common courtesy was never wasted, if tedious. As he was told their captain was currently meditating, he walked towards the zen garden while nurturing a slight feeling that his old friend was a creature of predictable habits. Showing a grin the captain of the seventh division started releasing his Reiatsu to hopefully startle his fellow captain as he got closer to the zen garden.

Captain of the 6th Division

Head of the Kuchiki Clan

6th Division Barracks ; One of many courtyards

@Wolfstar + ANYONE who wishes to interact with Shisa.
❧❧❧

S
hisa Kuchiki had walked back to his barracks in silence. He chose not to speak with the other fellow captains, nor to lower ranked members of his squad. 6th division members did their small duties willingly, and when they saw this man of nobility, they would give their acknowledgment. A simple nod of the head, a small 'hello' of some sort or 'good morning/afternoon', or a -slight- bow before stepping out of his way. However although Shisa heard them, he ignored them. He showed no acknowledgment back to his fellow members and continued to walk as the aura around him was burning away others from going near him. Their fear towards him was different than the fear over at the 11th division. Shisa's members feared him because of his status and wealth most of all. The man barely had to put in effort to strike fear into his members.

As he walked through the male stopped in one of many Kuchiki courtyards, staring at a scene before him. A small crowd of 6th division members surrounded two large animals, panicking but attempting very hard to be calm.

"Guys! I-If Sir Kuchiki comes back--He will be angry at us!"
"Ashitaka~~ Whose a good doggy?"
"Please get off of Howl, Ashitaka. You are such a good boy!"
"He is quite stubborn though..."

The black wolf-like creature gave a yawn in response at the lowly members, casually sitting over his older brother who was gold in color. Howl let out a whimper, not out of submission but rather one that was supposed to mean,'C'mon already, just get off......' but the younger and darker looking wolf refused, ignoring everyone in his surrounding.

Shisa nonchalantly raised a fisted hand over his lips, clearing his throat loudly."Ahem..." He uttered, and the members turned their heads his way.

"S-Sir Kuchiki!"
"P-Please do not punish us!"
"Idiot! Now he will! Shut up!"

The small group was almost arguing and talking amongst each other and a female member attempted to quiet down the other members with a worrisome smile. Not a way to impress the captain, and she stepped up apologizing for their behavior."Sorry Captain Kuchiki. Sorry for their behavior as well... Its our fault that we couldn't handle Ashitaka and--"

"Save it, Frump... You're quite boring to listen to." Shisa sternly said to her as he walked passed the young woman. Her voice was silenced, and Shisa walked passed the bickering trio of men looking at his two very large pets with a menacing look. Though he seemed nonchalant, the aura was quite tense and Ashitaka (Dark brown) looked over his shoulder quietly glaring at his master back while Howl's eyes looked up at Shisa.

After five seconds which seemed like minutes, Shisa gave in. His seriousness broke, and this tense air was lifted as he smiled 'for real', letting out an amusing sigh."Are you picking on your older brother again, Ashitaka?" The male asked rhetorically. Although Ashitaka was the youngest, he was the alpha of the pack (Shisa had 2 other female wolves plus 1 pup) and the black wolf hung out its tongue, its animalistic face resembling a smile and giving a bark that the members felt made their hearts jump while Howl whimpered for attention rather than sadness and barked as well but in a gruffer tone.

"Ok, ok.." Shisa chuckled as his hand stretched to pet the Black wolf's head and end it as he scratched under its muzzle. "Get off your brother." he uttered before the dog immediately stood--A full 5ft. Ashitaka was also the largest wolf-like creature while the others were under 5ft. Howl, The gold lion-dog creature, stood himself up as he shook his fur clean and jumped on Shisa in response, playfully jumping up to lick his face as shisa was slightly leaning down, supporting the large wolf-creature's weight in order for him to keep his posture on his hind legs with ease. Howl was the playful and goofy dog on the other hand and Shisa only laughed as he turned around. Howl's front paws on his hands before Shisa slowly wrapped his hands around the golden dog's head to pet him as well.

"My apologies that Ashitaka and Howl had troubled you all." he stated leniently. "They like to play... Or at least Howl does--Ashitaka more or less, is the scummy one." Shisa chuckled. "No sir--Its our fault! We are sorry!" a man exclaimed as all four of them gave a former bow--on the floor that is."Really--I am aware of everything about these two." He said. "Please do not blame yourselves. Its annoying and foolish." Shisa growled in annoyance.

"You four idiots are dismissed for the day." Concluded the Kuchiki before Howl stood on the ground. He looked around and pondered. He noticed that his lieutenant wasn't here--at all. She would've handled the situation smoothly, despite his doggish-creatures not liking her so much. They respected her, yes, but not so much truly liked the woman for some little reason it seemed.

"That woman wasn't here to handle you two?" He asked in annoyance rhetorically as he looked around."Incompetent as always. She is always finding some way to annoy the shit out of me." He growled to himself, being rather exaggerative. Shisa in a sense did indeed act all high and mighty out of nobility, however he was different as well in another sense. He was exaggerative and easily irritable (but not prone to anger and rage), cared about his wealth and expensive properties, used vulgar language, and didn't show care to his fellow members in the 6th division -When in fact he does in a different way-. People generally disliked him as a Kuchiki, as he didn't hold the proper traits of one, But everyone is different and he simply didn't care about what others thought of him. The way Shisa saw this was like looking at a dog breed, A golden retriever for example. Their kind was strictly bred to be nice towards everyone, friendly, and never -openly- aggressive. And Shisa simply broke that pattern, he was the outcast.

"Where's Kohaku.." He uttered, looking at the wolves for some type of response as Ashitaka laid on the ground and Howl sat beside his younger brother. The alpha merely folded its ears back with a nonchalant face while Howl almost had a grin with his tongue hanging out, tilting his head to the side and having his eyes halfway perked but folded back, wagging his tail.

Shisa sighed."You two were supposed to keep watch of him since San and Sophie {the other two female wolves} are out helping with tasks for the soul society." With that the male ran his hand through his jet black hair and proceeded to continue walking, this time into his office to check if there would be any work for him. If not, then he would roam the barracks in search for his new and now seemingly troublesome pup.

Most people wondered why Shisa never turned one area of his large barracks into a sort of caging for his large 'pets' if they kept roaming out of his Barracks. The reason was simple: Because it wasn't necessary. His pets were well-trained, and he disliked caging them in one area for the whole day. If they wanted to roam out of his barracks--so be it. But he knew for sure that his pets weren't in anyway troublesome enough to cause mischief and bother any atmosphere they were in--Even Howl. Besides, by night the wolves would come back to his barracks nonetheless and if they roamed out they had large colors around their necks or red ribbons around the left of their arm.

He could simply only assume the worse case happening with his new pup and sat down behind his desk as the foo dogs laid around his chair and under his feet, willingly supporting them despite their largeness. He would hurry with any work to go find that pup himself. Or simply hope that one of the captains or lieutenants would return the lost pup.

How troublesome indeed.

NOTES:
- Ashitaka is actually black.. Last minute change so disregard 'dark brown'/'brown' words describing him.

- The top picture of the brown wolf is used to represent Ashitaka's personality despite being the youngest. Disregard fur color as stated again.

- Shisa only has 5 pets. 4 are adults [2 females (Sophie (brown/white ; The colors shown above the role-play post minus the hand print) + San (All white)], 2 males [Howl (Gold ; Bottom of role-play post) + Ashitaka (Black)] and the 5th is merely a pup (Kohaku ; Male).

- Beastly creatures don't really have a specific name to call them yet (They're not wolves, they're not dogs... But like them..?) So the term was meant to vary and switch around.

- They're distinguishable based on traits. The mane, size, etc. They look like 'actual foo-dogs' since they have strong traits that make them resemble the mythical creature, nothing more.

- They're 4'3 ft - 5'1 ft. But like said, only Ashitaka is the largest. Just him. The rest are under 5 ft.

- Ashitaka is the youngest wolf, but the alpha and strongest.

- Originally I was planning seven, but toned it down to 5 due to me working on Shisa's zanpakuto still (Shikai) and his bank being pretty strong as it is (No not OP ._.).. Well, technically 4 since the fifth can't do anything! But yeah! c:

Shisa Kuchiki had walked back to his barracks in silence.

Aki Kobayashi | Division 5 Captain
Seireitei

Aki continued to smile, nodding at the two politely. "Captain Rover, Lieutenant Setsuna, a pleasure." Captain Kobayashi wondered why she would run into such an unlikely pair, though decided against asking out loud. At Captain Rover's invitation, she looked down at Tadao, who sat wagging his tail excitedly, his eyes only for the two new people in front of them, and she decided grabbing a bite to eat wouldn't hurt. The captain looked back up and raised her coffee cup slightly. "Well, I've got my coffee, but a bite to eat wouldn't hurt I suppose. We'd be happy to join you." The 'we' was not only for both Tadao and herself but also for her lieutenant, whom she knew would be joining them as well, though she didn't know if he would join them normally or in the shadows as he probably preferred. As to whether Lieutenant Setsuna and Captain Rover knew her lieutenant was with them, she did not know.

Aki looked around before gesturing a hand down the street they were in. "Lead the way Captain Rover. I'm quite sure you know of a good place to grab some good food." At her gesture, Tadao moved to sniff the new people in front of him, mistakening the gesture as a 'go ahead', an action which made her look on in surprise as her Basenji sniffed the Lieutenant first. Aki cleared her throat, which covered the slight sound of a snap of her fingers meant for the dog, who quit his sniffing of Captain Rover's haori quickly and retreated back to her side. Tadao looked up at his master with a dumb doggish smile, clearly not bothered by her master's silent chastising. She smiled once again. "Ah, I apologize for Tadao. He loves new people."

Getsuga looked up from his desk to see rose standing there. "Oh, hello there rose-chan~" he said with an unseen smile. "Oh no it's fine I'm the smartest person here so I think it'd be best if I were to just do it" he said looking at her "and by all means that does not mean you aren't smart it just means that I have a higher intelligence" looking around for a bit he finally decided. "at the moment I do have something you could do, would you mind going and sending in my captains report that'd be extremely helpful because it would allow me to keep working on my current project, the report is right over there" he said pointing to a small table that had several files on it. Done with their little chat he turned back to the computer and continued to type I unhuman speeds.

Satomi Awataro
Quincy
Karakura Town

Standing on a grey but pale bridge almost at the northern side of Karakura Town, the view was exceptionally good through his emerald eyes. A river was running down below him before a familiar figure appeared behind him. The stern expression did not waver, nor did his eyes move away from the scenery before him. 'Reiku..' He thought to himself. If anything, her appearing by the bridge was enough. Satomi's eyes squinted slightly while he stood there, silently listening to what she had to say.

Despite his grudge against the Shinigami, he couldn't help but feel no honor in the way they were left behind. Dead corpses of the people he disliked. The Quincy, or especially Satomi had an odd relationship with the former in general. Turning around as his white clothes fluttered with the wind, one line from his little sister at the end held all the mystery to the incident earlier. "Yes, I'm sure the others felt it too. Especially the Shinigami." As his eyes met with his sisters, he walked up to her.

Reiku's expression was quite emotionless, but Satomi knew that her true feelings were hidden behind it. No matter who it is, a human being, or a Quincy, and even a Shinigami, she would still show concern and worry for the latter, especially in circumstances as today. Closing his eyes for a second or two, he approached her, standing by her side, with his hand placed on her shoulder. "Whatever that is, it's none of our concern." Removing his hand, he walked forward, towards the end of the bridge.

"Besides, its only going for the Shinigami." An obvious thought did cross the white haired Quincy's mind. Whoever it was that killed the Shinigami may in the end come for the Quincy or even the humans. Stopping in his tracks, he turned to the sideside, gazing at Reiku. "If it ever goes beyond that, I'll kill it." Silent echoed throughout the area. Perhaps his sister wouldn't see eye to eye with him on that, and if that came to be true, it would be expected.

"I advise you to observe at best, but not meddle in their affairs."
