Sazael wanted to wash off. No, she needed to. Her cheek was still throbbing slightly and her entire body was a blood stained mess. The other girls had stripped before going in the pool, but she couldn't bring herself to do it, leaving her with a wet dress. An inaudible sigh was released as she got to her feet slowly before glancing to Julius and the showers he had just opened up. She could already tell he was smiling at her, but she did her best to pay no mind to it. Walking to the showers, Sazael turned on the water and stood completely still under it, letting it wash off all the blood and the cold water not seeming to bother her. In fact, she was still quite composed after having to cut herself and swim in blood. Hesitantly, she reached up and touched her cut cheek, a slight wave of pain surging through momentarily before she pressed down on it. This caused a bit more blood to flow out of it, but it didn't bother Sazael.

When she felt like all the blood was rinsed off her, she stepped out of the showers and grabbed a towel, placing it on her head and leaving it there. Her normal expressionless face scanned the room briefly before looking at her dripping wet dress. She'd have to put up with this for now.

Ryan stood up at the sight of the showers, losing his balance only slightly as the blood rushed to his head, then quickly walked over to them. Next to him he could here Jarrett and Julius arguing, but he didnt really care. he was starting to lose his vision and needed to get all of this blood of him before he collapsed. He turned on a tower and gasped slightly at the cold of the water compared to the warmth of the blood. After his arms were clean, he tore off the bandage from the last challenge and threw it to the ground. The cut had stopped bleeding, but it still looked rather deep. He held it under the water for a while, wincing a bit, then began to clean the water from his hair and face. Oddly enough, his skin felt smoother after the blood had been washed off. Almost like the blood had been some kind of moisturizer... He sat down under the shower so he wouldnt give himself a concussion if he lost consciousness. He had to think of something else.

Spirit. How was she taking this? He didnt remember seeing her throughout this challenge, but then again, he hadnt been paying attention to much. He needed to find her. He slowly stood up and cleaned the rest of the blood off. He walked out of the shower and back into the pool room, looking for her. His pants and hair were drenched, but he felt better knowing that it was only water now.

Keith had just noticed the showers himself, and he quickly walked over to wash off the blood. Being under water felt akin to pure ecstasy, and for that moment, he could finally produce a legitimate grin. He'd only smiled at best since these challenges had started, and the rush of joy he felt from this shower (of all things) gave him an amazing sense of relief and hope. Spirit and Sazael, no matter which one was which, had both done excellently. No one on his team had to take a second turn or anything; they had all been able to find their five gems and to contribute equally to their team's success. Keith used the other side of the towel to wipe his relatively clean body. His clothes were a little wet still, but they would surely dry off soon.

As he returned, Keith saw Julius and Jarrett having a conversation, though it did not seem like a pleasant one. He couldn't help feeling that it was a bit strange. From what he had seen, the two of them had gotten along well enough thus far, and they seemed to be on the same side. So why would there be enough animosity between the two of them to start such a conversation? Was that just another portion of this house's multi-tiered mystery?

Deciding he might as well do something to cut the tension between the two inhabitants, Keith walked up to Julius, not noticing the fangs that peeked out from under his lips. "You did a fantastic job out there, Julius. Not that I would expect you not to, but...well, you've just been so helpful to all of us, and I want to thank you. So, well, thank you." Keith's gaze went slightly to the left; the words seemed like they could be interpreted as mushy and/or childish, but he was expressing his thoughts as sincerely as he could. Perhaps this out-of-place sentimentality was his way of coping with the odd situation that had imprisoned him like this, or more plausibly an effect thereof. It wasn't exactly a comforting thought, but perhaps this would be one way to evaluate how much control he had of his sanity.

Georgio saw how everyone got right down to business. Not wanting to let down his teammates Georgio taught it over. If he didn't do he would probably get tortured or worst; if he did do he could drown in something's or someone's blood or he could get the gems. If the girl Spirit could do it, maybe Georgio had some kind of chance. Georgio took his top hat off and hair tie; letting his long blonde hair fall down to his mid-back. Then he took off his gloves, shirt, pants and shoes. He was left in his boxers that had clocks on them. Georgio had a thing with time, that's why he lives the way he does; you never know when your time is up. He yelled out to everyone in the room, "Wish me luck ladies and gents!" Not feeling at all confidence, Georgio walked to the edge of the blood filled pool. He said a quick prayer then he dived in. That was a big mistake he should've got in toe by toe. At first he started to splash around, the blood started to get in his mouth. He hadn't found one gem in five minutes. He had to relax if he was going to at least get a gem. He took a deep breath and calm down. After a couple more minutes Georgio got his bearings and to his amazement he found three gems. It wasn't all five but for him it was an accomplishment. He was a little disappointed since his team seem to be behind the other teams. Georgio was about to go and get washed off, but he felt dizzy. Next thing you know Georgio started puking red liquid all over the floor. This was not a fun time, not fun at all.

Spirit could see the poor lad from here, the guilt taking over. She easily stood up, walking over to.. Georgio? Yes, that was probably his name. She was sure of it. She sighed softly, kneeling down and softly patting the males back. "Just let all of it out, best do it now than later." She spoke calmly, her face void of emotion. Although she tried to be reassuring, it was like the worry was bubbling up inside because she couldn't help him any better than she was trying now. "You did good, Georgio." She murmured, waiting for him to finish. Once he did, she tore off a small piece of fabric off her skirt, softly grabbing the males chin so she could wipe away the residue. Her cloth softly wiping at Georgio's mouth. As she finished up, she softly patted his back before standing up, walking over to the room that held the showers.

Once inside one of the small stalls, she turned the water on and allowed it to wash away all of the blood. She knew it wouldn't completely disappear, but as long as she could get most of it off, she'd be fine. Spirit decided in that moment though, to just be calm. If anything, that was the best bet she had at trying to live through their trials without going completely mad.

After what seemed like forever, most of the blood had been washed away, making her feel better. Her hair was back to it's original blonde-whitish color, her skin to its natural color. The only thing that she really couldn't get the blood off, was her shirt sadly enough. But she wouldn't allow that to bother her, that could ruin her facade. Spirit turned the water off before stepping out of the room completely, now back into the room with the blood-filled pool. She made her way towards the exact corner where she was sitting just minutes before, wanting to wait until everyone else was done.

Julius let go of Jarrett, his fangs sliding back into his mouth slowly. He smiled slightly, nodding and looking away. "It's a pleasure to help, Keith. Do not worry about that." He grasped Keith's hand, realizing that he may feel unworldly cold to the man. None the less, he shook his hand and grinned. He picked up his clean shirt, gently sliding it over his body before looking at the others. He took a small herb out of his pocket, slowly walking towards Georgio. Once he reached the man who was vomiting on the floor, he pushed the herb into the man's mouth, patting his back and nodding. "This will make the nausea go away. It'll also take the fatigue away. Eat up."

The sight of the puking man only made Sazael want to puke, which was a natural reaction when watching someone else do so, yet she managed to hold back. She had to keep her composure when some of the people here were already getting shaken up by the first few tasks. Thinking that it was about time to get herself together now, she began drying off her hair, rubbing the towel into her head. She then patted down her dress. Her eyes scanned the room but avoided the sight of the man. The longer she looked at him, the more she felt her stomach contents want to come out.

Serena entered the room with a new man in tow; She didn't think this man knew what his fate was, though she honestly didn't care. She crossed his name off of the list: Eli Clemmington. She smiled, opening the door that held the others prisoner. She saw them diving into the pool of blood to retrieve the gemstones. Smiling, she whistled to Julius, nodding. "Julius.. Why isn't it nice to see you.." She looked over at the man named Keith, realizing that he was strangely familiar. She shrugged, grinning slightly before pushing Eli inside the room and shutting the door behind her. She walked to Julius slowly, looking at the way his damp hair clung to his back. "I think I will keep you in here for one more challenge.. It'll be a punishment of sorts." Julius rolled his eyes, looking over at Sazael and frowning. "I don't mind." Serena scowled, grabbing the vial that hung around her throat in a flurry of rage. "I think the blood lust will someday drive you insane.. Even more so now that you are surrounded by these prisoners.. Have fun with that." She giggled, walking to the center of the room and touching the man known as Georgio with her high heel shoe. "Everyone.. Whether you feel as if you cannot go on any longer.. There will be another task. Now I would like to introduce Eli to the group.. Feel free to welcome him since none of you will be getting out of here anytime soon." She giggled, looking to Julius with a twist of her lips; Julius wasn't sure if this was a smirk or some sort of pain that she tried to hide. She waved before leaving again, locking the door behind her. Julius shook his head, grabbing a set of keys out of his pocket.

Along a stone wall he grasped for a loose brick; It was there that he found the food rations he had hidden for everyone. He handed them out to each person, nodding and looking for his other secret spots. One was underneath a stone on the floor. This held numerous flasks of blood and unique keys that led around the house. He looked to the group, putting a finger to his lips. He slipped the flasks into his pocket, grabbing a glass bottle and filling it with blood from the swimming pool. The keys were placed on a chain that hung around his neck; His shirt was slightly open, revealing the keys.

Julius sat down in a corner, sipping the blood from the glass bottle and savoring the flavor silently. All emotions and auras were there, in the blood. He tasted a hint of Sazael's blood, his pupils dialating slowly before returning to the normal size they were supposed to be. He sighed, sitting the bottle down shakily. Today wasn't one he would ever forget.

As her team was last, she went after Georgio, immediately leaping into the pool as soon as he came out, her eyes shut, but her hands searching calmly and quickly. As she came up to catch a breath, the blood dribbled off of her face and into her mouth, causing her to cringe ever so slightly. This was a challenge she must win, though, so she forced her mouth shut and swallowed to save time as she dove down again, and to her surprise, felt two gems beneath her hand and she quickly snatched them and shoved them into her bra, to free her other hand. Two breaths later she'd collected 5 and pulled herself out just as Serena entered.

Perhaps to tick the woman off, or just to relieve herself of the extra chest weight, she dropped the gems audibly into the bucket as the woman spoke, the thuds and echos a bit too obvious. She squeezed blood from her hair back into the pool and walked to her pile of cloths. Before she put them on, though, she wiped as much blood off of herself as possible. She refused to wash up, though, as she felt she would be too exposed. On her bare arms, stomach, and legs, blood streaks could be seen as well as clots that held tightly to her hair. Dressed, Taniac felt a little better, though a bit queasy. Strange as it may seem, the blood didn't bother her, but rather the taste that lingered on her tongue from her maybe idiotic display.

She found an interest in Julius. Not a romantic or friendly one, but simply curiosity. There was questions she wanted to ask, but the words couldn't cross her lips, so she just wondered, staring from her corner.

While being escorted by a lovely woman going by the name Serena; Eli smiled to himself admiring her beauty, but stopped when he remembered his horrible marriage. 'Women...' Sighing he watched her cross something off on a paper and smile, it didn't seem like a kind smile either. 'To late to turn back now, I suppose.' With grace she opened a door and whistled to someone, also complementing how it was to see them. Mentally he stored the name he'd heard her say. 'Julius'. For a woman she was strong, pushing him into the room he jumped as the door closed behind him. Panic was beginning to set in but he dared not let it show 'What is this...a pool of blood?...please just let it be red water of some sort!'. The man she'd called out to Julius she approached and exchanged words with him. Gathering himself almost seemed like a hard task when the word Prisoners passed by his ears. 'Prisoners!....Wait That doesn't sound quite right!'. cut short from his thoughts as the still stunning young woman Serena introduced him to the group, He slightly nodded his head at the others. Watching her leave the room made Eli's heart race a little, and sweat begin to form on his forehead. 'Great, Just great! leave to in a room full of people I don't know and a Pool of blood.....Eli what in the hell did you get yourself into?' Turning back to the man named Julius he watched as he took out a set of keys; He didn't think he should have had them, But hey lots of things were beginning to make Eli want to take a couple aspirins. Slyly the man named Julius opened a secret compartment and pulled out what seemed to be food.

Once everyone got a share he began searching around for more spots. 'Why...Why is he hiding food....This doesn't make sense, Where important to their study right?!'. Eli felt like his brain was going to melt into his skull but still wasn't going to show it. That is until the male named Julius collected the red liquid from the pool in a container of sorts and began to drink from it. Eli Clemmington had enough he lost it, Rubbing his forehead he paced back and forth until he gained the courage to speak out. "Now I'm a practical man don't get me wrong when I say this,What the hell is going on here?".

Serena's entrance startled Sazael and she turned to see what was going on. The two exchanged words, but what really caught her eye was the man named Eli. He was new here, probably came late or something. For whatever reason, he shouldn't have came. After she finished her drying herself, she used the towel to soak up the little bit of blood seeping from her cut. As Serena left, Sazael's eyes followed Julius, even after she had received her food. Though she was a bit hungry, she couldn't bring herself to eat with the smell of blood and the sight of puke in her presence. Instead, she continued to watch Julius from a distance. He was doing something rather odd... something a normal person wouldn't do. He was drinking blood from the pool. She knew he was odd ever since he first licked her blood from his finger, but this was different. He was drinking it like water. The sight made her press even harder onto her wound, thus drawing more blood.

Her attention was only momentarily torn away by Eli, who was quite obviously confused as were many of the people here were. Though Sazael felt as if she could explain to him if needed, she chose to keep silent. Perhaps someone else would. She turned her attention to the floor, occasionally stealing glances at Julius.

Jarrett scowled at the newcomer, devouring his food in a matter of minutes before speaking. "She lied.. It's a trap that you fell for. You're now a prisoner here."

Julius chuckled at the man's frantic voice; Something about Eli made him want to laugh harder. He continued sipping the blood, glancing over at Sazael every once in a while. He looked to the team, shaking his head and sighing. Sometimes it was best not to say anything to anyone. He looked to Sazael again, this time pulling out an herb to keep her energy up. He stared at her from across the room, his eyes narrowed as he dared not to speak. Would she accept his gift? He wasn't sure.

Taking notice of the herb in Julius' hand, which she assumed was being held out to her, Sazael turned in his direction before walking slowly over to him and squatting down to his level. The towel was still pressed to her cheek, but she moved it away as she reached for the herb. Quite honestly, she wasn't sure what these were going to do for her or if they were harmful or not, but something told her that Julius could be trusted. She grabbed the herb, making contact with his skin briefly, and pulled away. Before taking it in, Sazael flashed a very quick smile at him, which was quite rare for usually emotionless attitude. After eating the herb, she stayed near him, simply staring at the ground, his face, or his hair.

Julius smiled at the brief contact their hands had made; It had been years since he actually cared about someone. He untied the small braid in his chair, slowly braiding it again to make it more neat. He looked to the blood in the pool, absently taking a sip of his blood before looking to Sazael. He scooted over, looking to her. Would she decided to sit? He let out a soft sigh, watching Jarrett.

Jarrett and looked to Eli with a shake of his head, shrugging. "You should have decided not to show up here.. That would have been the best bet.. Serena is evil and wants us to suffer." He looked to Julius, frowning. "Is it bed time now?" Julius nodded, standing. "Everyone ready?"

Ryan had managed to phase out completely, not thinking about anything in particular, while he sat against the wall waiting for everyone else to finish. After he had stepped out of the shower rooms somehow he had forgotten that he was looking for someone and instead decided to rest. Now, the sound of actually getting some sleep woke him from his trance. He looked up at Julius.

"Definitely. I'm ready." He stood up and walked back into his cell slowly, with tired and heavy steps. Swimming in blood had taken a lot out of him, physically and mentally, and he was ready for a very long sleep. There was a nagging feeling in the back of his mind that he shouldnt let his guard down that easily, considering everything that had happened so far, but his want for sleep proceeded that, and he fell onto his bed face-first with a 'thwump'.

Sazael saw Julius scoot over to her after taking a sip of blood, which surprisingly didn't make her feel uncomfortable at all, though it made her question the existence of vampires. He couldn't possibly be one, was what she told herself. Hearing them mention is was time for bed, she stood up beside Julius and gave a small bow as a way of saying by and thank you. As she made her way towards her cell, she couldn't even think about what the next task may be. However, she did know that she wouldn't be able to sleep tonight. Despite her exhaustion and need to rest, she didn't think that'd be possible with so many things going on in her mind.

Everyone had been acting so nonchalant, Eli pushed his orange hair out of his face and scratched the side burns on his cheeks and near his ear while he thought. 'Prisoner?...Serena?...What's wrong with woman these days!, its her fault there he; IM HERE!?' Placing his hand on the wall he took a deep breath and wiped his lips followed by a quick pinch and pull on his bottom lip. 'That man...Julius drinks blood...Doesn't he know the dangers of consuming other body fluids?...What am I saying of course he doesn't know, or he just doesn't care.' Taking a look back at the others he watched as Julius handed something to a woman and they shared small smiles. 'Ah...What's this?, A crush perhaps?' Noting Julius's movements when there hands touched and also the fact that he tried to clean his appearance for the girl made Eli want to laugh. 'Don't hold your breath my good sir...Woman are nothing but trouble with a capital T.' After calming himself he sucked his teeth at the other mans comment. "Well I would have never thought!, Its absolutely psychotic to go into something thinking or even knowing -" cutting himself short with a sigh he then continued. "And to think that such a beautiful woman would be the master mind of such a brilliant plan." looking up he put his hand up and licked his lips not meaning to offend any of the women in the room, but then tossed his hands in the air. 'To hell with niceties! I believe we are well past that!'. "Brilliant indeed!, to fool us into believing were apart of some important discovery...and then trapping us in here, and making us do god knows what" pointing to the bloody pool he sighed again.

"Bed time?, Im no child. How can you all sleep at times like this?...Haven't you the slightest fear of what's to come next?" He watched as one of the men took there leave and entered what seemed to be a cell. "I'm confused as to what's going on here?. I-I mean I fully understand that we've been bamboozled into this little game that woman Serena has started...But what exactly is going on?." taking his pointer finger he pointed to the pool he was now standing near and placed the other hand on his hip so to show he was serious and demanded some serious answers.

Jarrett rolled his eyes, watching Julius and Eli at the same time. He turned his full focus to Eli, shrugging and looking towards the locked door. Jarrett stood, looking to Eli with a frown. "It's best not to say things like that, Eli.. There are women here that are better than Serena ever will be. Though you cannot and will not understand what is going on... I assure you this is the only way out." Julius grabbed a key after Jarrett's speach, opening a small door and entering the room beyond. As his body disappeared in the room, the door suddenly shut behind him and was locked from the inside. Julius knew this was the only way to keep his urges down; Most of the blood in the pool was animal blood; Something his body did not like. He sighed, climbing onto a wooden cot and thinking of his room and his dead soul mate.. When would they ever meet again? He pulled the blanket over himself, shaking his head as a single tear fell down his cheek.

Though he thought Sazael was cute and charming, he knew that deep inside his torn and worthless soul that he was in love with only one woman; She had been dead for centuries and the fate that caused her to be dead was even worse in its own self. He hated remembering the horror of that day. Every time he closed his eyes he saw the remains of his dear Elise. It was hell and torture to remember. "Sometimes it's best to forget."

Sid stood there and watched all his team mates, one by one dive into the pool. The blood in the pool didn't phase him at all in the slightest. Like Georgio said, 'Save the best for last' Sid was the best out if this rag tag team. He had no fear of these little tests.

Once his turn came, he pulled off his shirt and shoes, as well as his cigarettes. Once they were off, he walked to the edge of the pool. The first thing that hit him was the coppery smell emanating from the pool. Just how many people died to fill this pool? He thought before diving into the blood with a splash.

He hit the bottom and automatically felt his first gem under his foot. He swam downwards and grabbed the gem, then placed the gem into his pocket.

He swam around looking for more. He found about two more before going up to the surface for air. He then dived back down after taking a huge breath. He had two more to go. At the last minute he found both gems and cane back up. He swam to the edge and got up out of the pool.

Blood was all over him but he didnt seem to mind. He sat down by his clothes and grabbed a smoke from his pack, lighting it.

Having heard enough Eli slid down the wall and sat on the floor. His eyes fled to the man who'd spoke to him and he stood again this time with an idea planted in his head, approaching him he collected his thoughts before speaking not wanting to ramble on or merge his words.'Get it together Eli...Be the calm cool and collected man you always are.'. "Where did Julius just go?". In Eli's head it was kill or be killed that's what that speech meant to him. So he planned on making good with the craziest man there and that seemed to be Julius, Or so he thought. 'If a man can consume blood like a damn beast without gagging, I'm pretty sure he's taken a life or two...So if I have any chances in surviving I should pair with him!. God knows how long he's be defiling his body with this liquid. All the better reason to win him over...I don't care how the blood got here and I don't care who its from...I all I know is If I want to continue to live I've got to play my cards right. And he may be just the man to teach me how the game works.' Slightly grinning at the marvelous plan he had in his head.
