Basic Information

Name: Lazlo Susilo
Nickname/Alias/Etc: N/A
Gender:
male
Age: 19
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 178lbs

Appearance

Hair Color: brown/blonde

Eye Color: grey

Ethnicity: Caucasian

Physical Appearance: Lazlo normally stands with a slight slouch, he has several scars on his arms and chest from both fights and self harm. His brown hair is constantly in a state of unkempt wildness but he normally keeps it out of his eyes, and if the lighting is right there are vague streaks of blonde in his hair. While not a body builder, Lazlo keeps himself fit and has toned muscle on most of his body, this is due to the fact that he uses his entire body when free-running (also known as frerunning ). Growing up as a street rat Lazlo developed heavy callouses on his feet, essentially allowing him to run barefoot over almost anything. His hands are very nimble and quick, allowing him to pickpocket with ease. Lazlo also has a tongue piercing and both of his ears are pierced with green studs as well.

Attire: Lazlo normally wears a patched up leather jacket and wrinkled t-shirts. The jacket is of significant value since it was a gift from his "older brother" Nils. On a normal day Lazlo is out working on the docks and grifting on the city streets, so he wears sturdy clothes that have many pockets to hold various items. He also wears heavy duty cargo pants and well worn steel-toed boots. When the weather gets cold and he doesn't have to worry about being noticed, Lazlo finds it amusing to wear outlandish or unique headgear that he can get his hands on, this includes anything from a leather aviator hat to a furry Russian Ushanka.

Personality

Personality: Lazlo is a quirky and absentminded individual, most of the time he is either daydreaming or napping. He is easily distracted and probably has some form of an attention disorder. While seemingly friendly to everyone he meets, his kindness is a facade that he uses to judge whether someone could be a potential target, enemy, asset, etc. Having spent his youth growing up in the Dead End, Lazlo is naturally very wary of new faces and it takes either an extreme act of kindness/trust or a long time of interaction for him to completely trust. At first glance he quickly forms an opinion of someone (even if it may be wrong), and due to his rough upbringing Lazlo can sometimes come off as crude or cruel. Lazlo also does not have an internal filter so to speak, so often he blurts out whatever his first thought was or curses like a sailor.
Lazlo also has an addiction to cigarettes, he usually smokes a pack a day and becomes irritable when he goes without them.

Hobbies/Interests: Lazlo enjoys sleeping, eating, and daydreaming. He also enjoys learning about other people, especially what their powers are (if they have any). Growing up in the city of super humans Lazlo has always enjoyed comparing powers with others and testing them out.

Skills/Talents: Lazlo is a very proficient pickpocket and free runner due to his growing up in the Dead End District. His quick hands are matched by his quick wits, he is always thinking of several things at once and while not the smartest guy around he makes up for it with his creative and abstract thinking.

Prized Possession: The leather jacket that he is always wearing. While not a prized possession, Lazlo can always be found with a lighter and a pack of cigarettes somewhere on his person.

History/Bio: Lazlo grew up in the Dead End district, born to a single mother who was addicted to drugs he essentially grew up on his own. In his early years Lazlo was a part of one of the many packs of street rats that inhabited the Dead End. There he learned how to pickpocket and steal to survive. This is when he met his "older brother" Nils Maupin, the two formed an inseparable bond and supported each other all throughout their childhood's. By their early teen's both Nils and Lazlo had become cocky and streetwise delinquents.

However in their mid-teens Lazlo and Nils were torn apart. After a theft gone wrong Nils was imprisoned and Lazlo was left all alone. For the two years that Nils was incarcerated Lazlofell into a deep pit of depression and self loathing. Blaming himself for Nils' imprisonment, Lazlo began to abuse both himself and those around him. During those two years Lazlo was often seen either fighting or cutting himself in solitude. He also began his addiction to cigarettes and very nearly died to a drug overdose.

Luckily Nils was released just in time to save Lazlo, when Nils found Lazlo he barely recognized his younger brother. The two years had turned the carefree young teen into a deeply troubled young man. Nils spent most of his time that year helping Lazlo recover and regain his sense of self worth. Soon things were back to normal and Lazlo was finally smiling again with the return of his older brother. Both of the two young men resolutely began their paths to escape the Dead End.

By his 18th birthday, Lazlo and Nils had saved up enough money to buy a run down apartment by the Docks. While Lazlo was perfectly content to live in Black Falls, Nils was full of wanderlust and soon made the decision to leave the city. After discussing it with Lazlo, Nils bestowed his leather jacket to him and left Black Falls on a cargo ship bound for Asia. Nowadays Lazlo lives in the apartment alone and works at the Docks part time, since his career of stealing from the upper class always provides a steady amount of income and is also much more exciting than breaking his back working on the wharfs.

Family:

Nils Maupin.

Relationships

Growing up as a street rat Lazlo has had few decent relationships in his life. The most notable relationship was with a fellow orphan who took Lazlounder his wing. Nils Maupin is for all intents and purposes Lazlo's adopted older brother, he taught Lazlo how to survive the tough streets of the Dead End and what skills were essential for any young street rat to know. Nils shares many of the same qualities as Lazlo and his creative knack for cursing has clearly rubbed off on Lazlo. Nils was the one who gave Lazlo his prized leather jacket, it was the first thing Nils bought with his own money and he gave it to Lazlo for his 18th birthday. Shortly thereafter Nils bade farewell to Lazlo and set out to explore the world beyond Black Fall. If asked about Nils, Lazlo will only give him praise and happily reminisce of their many past adventures.

Abilities

Power Class & Rating:

Power: Personal Gravitational Field Manipulation

Lazlo has the ability to alter his own personal gravity field, but nothing on the scale such as making himself super heavy or lightweight. His ability is similar to changing which way he falls so to speak. Lazlo can change his gravity field so that he can walk on walls or ceilings. He can also cause himself to fall straight up into the sky but he rarely does since it has no practical uses.

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: The main drawback behind Lazlo's powers is the limit of his human body. For instance, if Lazlo changed his gravity so that he fell towards a wall 50 feet away, he would break his legs due to the fact that he would essentially be falling from a 50 foot drop. Lazlo can change his falling direction while falling, but doing so disorients him and excessive mid-air flight changes leave Lazlo feeling nauseous.

Other:

N/A

Sample Post: Lazlo walked calmly through the busy streets, his eyes casually moving about as he eyed the many shoppers clogging the narrow alleys. Every so often he would "accidentally" bump into someone and apologize with his best sincere smile. It was only after disappearing into the crowd would he grin and look over his ill-gotten goods. After rifling through several wallets and purses Lazlo slipped the wad of cash into his jacket pocket and dropped the empty money holders into a nearby trashcan. Lazlo turned and walked off down a dark alley that most shoppers avoided, simply because of its proximity to the docks and the fact that several suspicious looking men often loitered in the middle. Turning and making sure he was not followed Lazlo faced the blank alley wall and proceeded to nonchalantly walk straight up the side of the alley. Cresting the top of the alley Lazlo made his way over the rooftops and perched himself on a chimney overlooking the bustling docks. After fumbling around in his jacket, Lazlo produced a pack of cigarettes and a cheap lighter. With a click and a puff of smoke a fresh cigarette took its place on Lazlo's smiling lips as he counted the cash from his daily stroll.

Sorry, but this sheet needs a lot more work. I can't accept this in it's current state.

i'm really interested, but it might take me a while to get a CS up. is that alright? i'll have it up by tomorrow morning, though.

Yay indeed. Now, I'm going to finish up Sugar's sheet and write some backstories for my existing characters. Since I kinda just cranked them out to provide some examples of what kind of sheets I want to see (Any good GM does that!).

Name: Bláthnat Cassidy Balore
Nickname/Alias/Etc: Sugar
Gender: Female
Age: 8
Height: 3'11ft
Weight: 45

Appearance
Hair Color:
Red
Eye Color: Blue
Ethnicity: Irish
Physical Appearance: A fairly young and incredibly cute child. She is short, very thin, and petite. She has a huge pair of thick framed glasses on, a pair that makes her look nerdy. But, easily her most defining feature is her massive head of curly, wild, red hair. That goes down past her shoulders and flows as she moves. Sugar's other most defining feature is her face full of freckles. It's pretty obvious that she's a ginger. She moves very slowly most of the time, and she sometimes limps. Other times she's full of energy and excited. Moving fast as her little leg can take her. For her weight and height, she's average, just the healthy mix for a girl her age and size. Pretty thin actually, to the point where her skin is clinging pretty tightly to her bones. Her skin is a fair color, but slightly pale because she doesn't get too much sunlight. However, her skin has plenty of scars from a few notable accidents... But, before I get into those, I should describe yet another defining trait about Sugar. Her right leg is obviously prosthetic, since she lost it in an accident not too long ago. Which is why she doesn't exactly walk right. Everything under the knee has been amputated. This prosthetic is fairly standard in appearance, but Sugar has painted it bright red. She doesn't like talking about it at all. The leg itself is now a stump, there's a clear scar where it's been amputated, but generally the wound has healed. As for other scars/wounds, Sugar also has a few scars on the same leg and upwards towards her lower body. Slashing scars like something had cut her (Glass specifically). Other than that young Blathnat has very rounded and youthful facial features. The true face of a little girl. To get started, she has a rectangle-shaped face. She has large, round, full cheeks that smoothly flow into the rest of her jawline without looking out of place. She has a tiny chin is so small and unnoticeable, that it disappears into her . Mixed with her small, round, button nose, it's what makes her face look all cutesy. Sugar has braces, whenever she smiles she flashes these braces. Sugar has very large and rounded ears, usually hidden behind her curly mane. She has a rather large forehead, which butt of jokes at time.

Attire: Being Shannon's little sister has it's benefits! Sugar's style is generally whatever she's in the mood for, which Shannon happily indulges. She's, more often than naught, seen wearing a dress of some sort, usually red. Red being her favorite color, it's only appropriate. Other times she's seen dressed up like a punk, a princess, a biker, a businesswoman and so on. Long as it's nothing too fantastical, Shannon will change her attire appropriately. Oh yeah, Sugar wears a pair of black thick framed glasses. Finally, Sugar is often seen with a large red binder pressed up against her chest. Inside the binder is a collection of various drawings Sugar has made, all neatly organized. She keeps this possession very close to her.

Personality

Outward & Innate Personality: A certainly... off girl. She acts very similar to a young child. Going around playing and having fun. People the idea an overactive imagination, one that always lives in a dream world. She would make a bitchin' writer if she got some practice. That said, she always acts like she's a princess going on a fantastic adventure as the hero. Calling everyone she meets something out of a fairy tail. For example, she would call a shady woman a evil witch, or a strong and heroic male a knight. It's all depending on what who she meets. That said, Sugar is innocent as they get, idealistic as a child should be too. She is immeasurably kind, and because she believes herself to be a hero, she tends to help people whenever she can. Which tends to get her in trouble. She's young and incredibly playful, always seeking to find a friend to play with. Though, she tends to shy away from people older than her. Sugar is a coward, and is very quick to be frightened, and more importantly, fears her dream world getting shattered. She avoids everything that would cause her world to be shattered, such as mean people, evils, and mature situations - Her imaginary friend helps. Sugar really has a crippling fear of automobiles, and despises the look of them. Sugar also really hates being called by her birth-name, Blathnat.

Hobbies/Interests: As you may have guessed it, Sugar really likes fairy tails, and fantasy in general. She absolutely loves Disney movies. Someone mentions one and she's going to explode in a ball of energy all over them. Sugar also likes playing, exploring, discovering things, and day dreaming/imagining.

Skills/Talents: I couldn't come up with too much in terms of little girl skills, but here I go. Sugar, because of her active-imagination, has been looking into drawing. She's been drawing for quite awhile now, and she's been told that she has a little bit of talent. She's taken a few classes and has gotten beyond scribbles. Sugar has also been taught to play chess and checkers.

Prized Possession: Sugar's notebook full of stories and drawing.

Quote(s): "Oh! Do you want to meet Sir Reginald? Um... He's really shy..."

History/Bio: Sugar was the first child to be born into the Balore family after O'Conner, father of the Balore family remarried (After the tragic death of his first wife). Sugar was the first bundle of joy to come from his new wife, Cassidy. She was born after the family had moved from New York to Black Fall, living in the Westgate district. That said, Sugar had a pretty good childhood, she was young, she played around with friends, and lived life the best way she could. Since she was young, fairy tales and fantasy stories deeply fascinated her. With her parents supporting this, and it eventually escalated to a worrying level. She was seemingly obsessed with fairy tales, which leaked into everything that she was involved with. Her schoolwork, her home life, and play life. Her parents simply figured that she'd grow out of it and left her to her own devises. When Sugar was five, she was given a young brother, O'Brien. She was initially jealous of the child for taking attention away from her, but she quickly warmed up the boy. However, the person she wanted to connect to the most was her older sister Shannon. Who seemed to be aloof, indifferent to her very existence. Sugar tried her very best to connect to her sister, not succeeding for ages, until Shannon was forced to pay attention to her. After that, Shannon and Sugar became closer, much like sisters should be. Shannon made fancy clothes for Sugar, and Sugar returned the favor in affection. Other than that, there was a slow natural progression of events. Sugar went to school, her obsession with fairy tales never faded.

By the time she was seven, she was at the height of her life. Everything just seemed so perfect. Her younger brother was now two, and already walking and talking (Fragments). However, a few months before her eighth birthday, she learned that she will be getting another brother, Sean. Sugar was ecstatic that she was going to get a baby brother! Since she loved kids. However, her life took a drastic change after one car ride to the Toys "R" Us with her father one night. At an intersection, a drunk man had run a red light just as Sugar's car was crossing it. The drunk man crashed into the side of the car and sent it sprawling across the intersection into another truck. Sugar got a massive beam of metal impaling clean through the lower half of her leg. It nearly was cut off, and blood was everywhere. Her father was knocked out hard enough that he fell unconscious, probably with permanent damage. So Sugar was left alone in a mangled car to bleed to death as she screamed for help. Eventually, she too fell unconscious from severe blood loss and shock. It almost felt like she was dying. However a transparent guardian had appeared, and yanked Sugar out of the mangled vehicle. She was left lying by the side of the car, applying pressure to her wounds, by the time an ambulance came. At that point, the transparent man disappeared.

Sugar woke up in the hospital the next morning, surrounded by her family. Thankfully Shannon and her mother had given her an emergency blood donation. The young girl would be in a stable condition, but she couldn't feel her leg... She looked down and learned that, in her unconscious state, her leg was amputated because it was too damaged to possibly repair. This made the young girl hysterical. What didn't help was the fact that her father was sent into a coma from severe injuries and they wouldn't know when he'd wake up. She was given a prosthetic leg and put into physical therapy soon as possible. However, something strange had appeared. What appeared to be a ghost was following her around. At this point, Sugar was frightened by the apparition, but only she could see him, he was invisible to everyone else. They chalked it off to being stressed out from the incident and issued her some psychological therapy as well. Whenever she freaked out, he would disappear - choosing only to reappear when she was alone. When they were alone, no matter how loud she screamed, who she called for help, the phantom refused to leave.

Sugar felt like she was hopeless... When the ghost contacted her, for the first time, telling her that he was truly no threat and he was her friend. The entity that saved her from the car accident. Sugar was hesitant to believe the story at first, affixing the Entity to being an evil ghost. But, as they spent time together, playing around and talking, Sugar warmed up to him. In a few weeks, they were calling each other friends. She named it Sir Reginald, and called him a mighty knight. He helped her by getting her objects she was unable to, and sometimes saving her from further injury (Catching her that one time she nearly fell down the stairs). They had learned to rely on each other, and Sugar knew that Reginald was her knight. Everyone believed that she was just too imaginative except for her older sister, Shannon, who had enough experience in the Meta-human department to suspect that the traumatic experience had awakened a new power.

Months later, Sugar was officially released from the hospital, and she had taken some time to get used to everything. Having one leg was hard on her, but she made a new friend, so it made it all better. No one believed Sugar when she said she made a new friend, just called Reginald an imaginary friend. It wasn't until Sugar asked Reginald to get an apple was when they knew that she was a Meta-human - except, they pegged her as a telekinetic opposed to having an ability of her own. Months later, and they still do not know of the true aspects of this ability. Except for Shannon who was savvy enough to believe what Sugar said.

Family:
Mother - Cassidy Balore
Father - O'Connor Balore
Brother - O'Brien Balore
Brother - Sean Balore
Half Sister - Shannon Balore

Relationships

Shannon Balore | Great | Big Sister | "She's a wizard! She can make clothes just like the Fairy Godmother!" |

Deborah Termellio | Good | Princess | "Big sister's friend. She's really smart and always knows stuff I didn't know about. I think she's a Wizard too. Reginald tells me that I can trust her." |

Aisha "Newt" Termellio | Neutral | Houdini | "Ooooooh, she can disappear! That's so cool! Reginald tells me where she is, but it's still cool!" |

Jago Termellio | Neutral | Dumb Knight | "In my stories, he'd be the guy who goes on the adventures with the hero, and is the dumb tough guy." |

Abilities

Power Class: Cerebral/Other 8
Power: Imaginary Friend. Sugar has an invisible psychic entity following her and fulfilling her every wish. This entity is what she calls "Sir Reginald" and has the appearance of a muscular man, transparent and featureless, with only his outline visible. Reginald is far taller than Sugar is, standing tall at least ten feet. However, while "inactive", Reginald is normally invisible to all but those with Cerebral powers can vaguely see him, see his outline. He can, however, make himself visible at will, when he interacts with someone, uses his telekinesis - or otherwise becomes dormant. It is believed that Reginald is nothing more than a localized telekinetic field with Sugar subconsciously controlling him. Reginald has some degree of sentience, he displays intelligence, but he (seemingly) never communicates with anyone but Sugar. He carries out any of Sugar's wishes with near-human levels of intelligence, but when inactive, he merely hovers around Sugar. As I stated before, Reginald does whatever Sugar asks him to do, using all of his abilities combined. He can separate from her and for example, float across the room and grab something Sugar wants. During the aforementioned example, he'll be invisible and it will look like the object floated towards her. Which gives everyone the idea that her power is telekinetic in nature (Which is correct in it's own way) since Reginald never reveals himself. Reginald is fully benevolent and he only has Sugar's best interests in mind. Now, what are the special things Reginald do? Reginald has a powerful form of telekinesis. He can move even the heaviest of all objects with sheer willpower. This is also an extension of his telekinetic abilities, but Reginald is immeasurably strong. He can shatter stone with a single punch, and lift up cars - when he lifts objects up, they don't break under their own weight since he holds it together by wrapping a field of his own around it. Reginald also has minor/weak telepathic abilities, which is how he communicates with Sugar. He can also read the thoughts of those around him in a short radius, and transmit it to Sugar if he pleases. Usually he tells her about the people in the room, and who to watch out for. Reginald can send messages to other people, but he rarely does so unless he wants to send a message. At will, Reginald can disappear into Sugar's mind and go dormant, until he's ready to come back - matter of fact, he has three states. Active (When visible), Inactive (When invisible) and dormant (Recovering in Sugar's mind).

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: While Reginald is a powerful entity of his own, he has a few drawbacks. Know all that fancy stuff like the telekinesis and the strength? It's mentally linked to Sugar, and her brain isn't quite developed enough for it. Reginald using his telekinesis causes Sugar strain and injury. Simply moving an object telekinetically will give her a brief headache, and say tossing a bus into the upper stratosphere would cause her some immense damage, and might kill her. Which is exactly why he sticks to the simple stuff, and remains dormant to conserve energy, and keep Sugar protected. Reginald can be touched, and, by that extent, damaged. While he's sturdier than a human being, he can be damaged, and can be destroyed. Once destroyed, he will retreat back into Sugar's brain until he's fully repaired. He cannot regenerate on his own either, he'll have to return to Sugar's mind to heal even slight damage. He cannot fight other Cerebral types as effectively as anyone else. Reginald can't use all of his abilities at once, he can't keep Sugar in her fantasy land while stopping a bus from flying at them. He has to do one thing at a time. His telekinesis only applies to solid/physical objects. Reginald has Sugar's best interests in mind, and thus, he thinks about her before himself. Instead of counterattacking, he will be more focused on protecting Sugar, even if it'll leave himself open. Say if she got into a fight with two guys (Who would try to beat up a little girl? You fucking heartless bastard); and while Reginald is throwing something at Mook A, Mook B throws a brick at Sugar; he'll drop everything to defend her, leaving himself open to be taken out by Mook A. It can be taken advantage of by a savvy opponent. Or he might just forgo the fight altogether and just get Sugar out of there. Reginald only fights if there's no choice, and only to defend Sugar, even then, he'd rather send a message than kill someone. He might act to save a friend of hers to save her from the psychological damage. Whenever Sugar falls asleep/unconscious, Reginald will go dormant until she wakes up.

I also edited in Shannon's backstory, which connects to Sugar's.

Basic Information

Name: Rose Wells
Nickname/Alias/Etc: Rosie or Doc to her friends.
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Height: 5''8
Weight: ~150lbs

Appearance

Hair Color: Brunette
Eye Color: Chocolate Brown
Ethnicity: English/Scottish descent
Physical Appearance: While reasonably fit and healthy for a someone with a desk job, Miss Rose Wells can only be described as curvaceous. She regularly bemoans the lack of adequate sports bras, doesn't exactly see eye-to-eye with staircases, the vast majority of clothing stores or most forms of combat training in the academy. While maintaining a tight waist, she has little to no muscular definition. Her Celtic heritage is reflected in her fair skin, which only ever seems to burn. However, with the exception of several faint scars along her torso, is remarkably even and blemish free, something she contributes to a her grandmother's beauty regime, a good diet and better genes. Rose's hair, a rich brunette in colour, falls in loose waves and curls when loose. These days however, it is all too often pulled back into a rough ponytail or a bun. Her facial features have been described as 'old-fashioned pretty', with high cheekbones and bow lips. Her eyes are big and expressive, with thick, dark lashes usually accompanied with mascara and a flick of liquid eyeliner.

Attire: Rose maintains what she defines as a classic look. She rarely wears any bold or bright colours, and typically sticks to well-made, flattering yet fashionable and usually tailored pieces. She wears a wide range of clothing, from blouses and shirts, to dresses and skirts, always with a sensible pair of heels. She would only ever dream of wearing jeans around the house, or maybe on a lazy weekend.

Personality

Personality: Rose is a natural optimist, usually seen with a smile on her lips and a small spring in her step. Friendly and sociable without being loud or obnoxious, she has a kind word to say about almost everybody and gets a small kick out of making other people smile, especially on a rainy day. She's thoughtful, and is the person who bakes a cake and brings it in for someone's birthday, and who gifts cups of tea to those having a rough or long day. She enjoys both learning and problem-solving and can some times be seen having an absolute ball when other people would be tearing their hair out looking for a solution.
On closer inspection, Rose can almost seem guarded at times, quick to deflect questions and change certain topics if they come up in conversation. She's very private, rarely going on nights out with her colleagues or her friends. While a registered meta-human, and has received training, she is highly reluctant to disclose this to others. If she does, she refuses to discuss the full nature of her powers, and as such, does not gel as well with groups of super-humans as she does with those who aren't aware of her abilities. She dislikes conflict of any kind, and is eager to avoid getting into a fight be it with a human or a meta-human.

Hobbies/Interests:
Rose is an avid reader, having read everything from the classics to medical textbooks to trashy romantic novels.
Rose also likes to keep up to date with the latest in science and technology
Rose is a big fan of old black and white movies, from Hitchcock to the romantic to Universal horror
Chess -- Rose quite enjoys an occasional game of chess
Video games, when she gets time for them.
Baking

Skills/Talents:
Rose's ability includes an inherent understanding of the human body, so she's pretty good at figuring out why you're not feeling well.
Rose is also a pretty good baker.
Optimism, it's a talent sometimes.
Rose has an eidetic memory, although it applies more to what she reads than anything else.
Rose also speaks multiple languages; English, French, Spanish and German.

Prized Possession: A family photo album containing photos ranging from when her grandmother was a teenager to the current day.

History:
Rose never knew her birth parents, and she has no desire to try and seek them out either. She knows she was born in London, and given up for adoption several months later, and that's all she wants to know. The pain of the past is too much for some, and of too little interest to her. Shortly afterwards, she met Martha and George Wells for the first time, and it was love at first sight. She was adopted almost right away, and neither her new parents nor Rose ever looked back.
Rose spent her early years in the south of England, a sizable amount of it with her grandmother. Jane Ellis was a model and a movie star in her youth, giving it all up to marry and raise a family. She worshiped her granddaughter as much as Rose worshiped her, and they remained incredibly close throughout her childhood and teenage years. It was Jane who suggested the family move to Black Falls after noticing the beginnings of powers in Rose.

Always bright and intelligent, the two Dr. Wells had assumed that their daughter was simply mimicking what she heard them talking about, or maybe what she read in the textbooks that littered their house. They were living in Black Fall for about six months when six year old Rose informed her father he had something wrong with his lung, and persistently grew more upset about the issue until he went to the doctor four months later, to be informed he had lung cancer. She also told her mother that she knew there was something wrong with their neighbors heart several hours before he had a sudden heart attack. After being checked out, Rose was revealed to be a meta-human, possessing bodily and possibly medical intuition.

Her powers developed and intensified during childhood, and by the age of 14 she had an anatomical understanding to rival most world-class surgeons. Once puberty hit, she manifested haemokinesis, and limited degrees of tissue and muscle manipulation. Fearing that she would lose control of these new and potentially powerful abilities, her parents enrolled in an academy as soon as she was able to attend. Her next meeting with NEST revealed that she was potentially a biological manipulator, although as the years passed she manifested no new abilities, and her command of tissue and muscle manipulation remained somewhat lackluster. Although she learned to use her blood manipulating abilities offensively, her original abilities leave her reluctant to do so.

At nineteen, after a night out with their friends, Rose and her friend were hit by a speeding car. Her friend was left in critical condition, but Rose herself was left in a much worse condition and was pronounced dead several hours later. That was how the only person more surprised than she to find her very much alive in the morgue the following morning was the mortician on duty. She spent weeks in agony as her body slowly pulled itself back together from death itself, as the lovely man from NEST informed her of a new ability in line with her status as a biological manipulator. Tissue regeneration, he'd called it. The body 'dies', but after it 'recovers' from the initial 'shock' of death, it simply starts fixing itself again.

After recovering, Rose was offered a job working in the Red Wing Medical Center, a job she took eagerly in exchange for a promise that her status as a potentially immortal meta-human would be kept under very secure wraps.

Family:

Parents:
Dr. Martha & Dr. George Wells [Alive, well]

Grandparents:
John & Jane Ellis [Both Deceased]
Eric & Gloria Wells [Both Deceased]

Relationships

//To Be Added

Abilities

Power Class & Rating: Biological 4

Power: Human Biological Manipulation

Bodily / Medical Intuition:
Rose has an innate knowledge of the human body, how it works and how to fix things that have gone wrong. She cannot see inside the human body, but she describes it as being very much like a very precise gut instinct.

Blood Manipulation:
Rose can manipulate blood and it's properties through coming into physical contact with another person. She can manipulate her own blood, allowing her to clot wounds quickly or to form tools or weaponry.

Tissue Regeneration:
Rose can recover from injuries that would be fatal to most other people if given enough time and given enough of her brain stem remains intact. This is speculated to be the main application of her ability to manipulate tissue and muscle, as she has never been able to apply the ability to anyone else.

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks:
All abilities are limited to humans and meta-humans only.

Bodily / Medical Intuition:
If there is a cure for an illness or injury, i.e, a new medication, a meta-human ability, that Rose does not know about, she cannot know that it will help. This ability is also not infallible, she is capable of making mistakes and misdiagnoses. This ability also interferes with her ability to fight -- she will keep getting feedback from this ability that she is causing the damage. Actively using this ability around those who can shape shift into animals, or non-humans will cause painful feedback.

Blood Manipulation:
Rose is limited to her remaining blood supply when using her own blood to form weapons, tools, ect. This is also the case in the event of her using someone else's blood. She must maintain physical contact with a person to control their blood if they are not heavily bleeding. Rose cannot use this ability if she becomes anemic.

Tissue Regeneration:
Is not instant and doesn't grant Rose any immunity to pain. It also requires her to actually die in order to be triggered. It doesn't prevent her from ashing, bleeding out when using blood manipulation, or an injury that would destroy her brain stem. Rose cannot 'share' this ability with anyone, through a blood transfusion or otherwise.

What, Rose Wells thought, watching a group of doctors and nurses, must it be like to be normal?
To not know instantly what what wrong and how to solve it? To slave for hours over books and the internet to find some record of these symptoms, and hope for the best that you got the right diagnosis? Her mouth twitched upwards in a small, bemused smile. She'd never known anything different, but it made the thrill of research and discovery almost extinct. Part of her wanted to wander over and take a look at the patient herself, out of nothing but sheer curiosity. She wanted to know. She could just stroll up casually, nobody would be any the wiser. She was just a tech or an assistant of some kind around here, nobody would mind, nobody would notice...
But then again, it was always a risk here. Only the other day she'd had the bright idea to check in on a patient that was a shape shifter -- she'd gotten such bad feedback from her abilities she'd had a migraine for the rest of the day.

"Hey Rosie, thanks for covering for me. You'd really think the school would let parents know before they closed early, eh?" A harried looking blond in scrubs made a beeline for Rose behind the counter, flashing her a grateful smile. Rose returned the smile with a grin of her own and stood up, indicating her now vacant chair with a gesture.
"No bother, Rachel. It's quiet today like you wouldn't believe. You're in for an easy afternoon I think," The brunette grinned, sliding the files she'd been holding down onto the desk.
"Yeah, and what are the odds everyone's going to start coming in with limbs missing and a mystery alien disease now you're heading back downstairs and leaving me on my own here?" The blond woman chuckled lightly, wrapping her arms around her friend in a hug.

It was a little unexpected, and Rose was caught off guard. The millions of signals the woman's body was sending her at once, the pounding of the blood in her veins, the slightly unsteady heartbeat from the run, the low sugar levels, the fading bruises dotted across her body, several tiny cuts healing on her knees, the beginnings of arthritis in her fingers, the slightly damaged liver from a wild youth... And another tiny, little heartbeat. Another tiny little life within. Healthy. A surge of happiness ran through Rose; it was a little girl... Rachel had always wanted a little girl.
Stepping back from the hug, she reeled a little, excusing herself maybe just a little too quickly and wondering just how long it would take her friend to find out.

I'm going to get around to adding all the links to the second post in a second.

||This has caught my eye. I shall drudge up a character sheet, if you don't mind. While it may be a while, simply because I might have to retype it. Although, I should have it by Saturday-ish.

Mr Allen, how many people do you feel is required before we start? I presume we're at least waiting for dunruffel to edit his sheet and aleksei to post his, but after that ^^

Ill be drawing one up too ^-^

A few more people. I'm going to leave this open until I feel as if we have enough, so more people can jump in at any time. Technically, I could start the IC now.

Alright, I edited in Deborah and Jago/Newt's backstories. I am ready.
