Kellan growled when he was hung up on and shoved the phone in his pocket. "He's fine, he says stop worrying." Kellan rolled his eyes and stood up, ruffling her hair before going off to his room. Once there he rolled up some clothes and arranged them under the blankets on his bed to look like a body. His father grounded him for the spat the day before and wasn't in the mood to deal with being caught. Though if it was known he was with Onyx he would probably get off the hook...
Shaking his head he stripped off his clothes before pulling out an outfit consisting of an elbow length snug t-shirt and a pair of dark jeans, plus boxers and shoes on the other. He tied that to his ankle neatly with a string before climbing out his window and shifting. He soon took off through the woods, pausing only to make a kill considering he'd need the energy and continued on his designated path. Kellan only shifted due to the fact he was sneaking out and sadly didn't pass his driving test yet. After he'd made it close enough to where the hotel was, he padded into an alley and shifted back to human form before untying his clothes and dressing himself. A little scruffed up, but it would do. With that he walked the rest of the way to the hotel, picked up the room key despite the odd look he got from the check-in lady, and headed off to the room Onyx had booked.
After he'd used the key to enter the room he was happy to see his brother hadn't arrived yet; he'd left early for the very reason. Kicking off his shoes he hopped on the bed and sprawled out, nuzzling his face in a fluffy pillow but kept his ears trained on the door. It was a welcome distraction to keep his mind off what he'd actually came to the hotel for.
